Pancreatic cancer is frequently associated with invalidating symptoms (pain, fatigue, anxiety/depression), multifactorial malnutrition, sarcopenia and even cachexia, rapidly impairing patients' general condition and impacting quality of life and prognosis. Supportive care plays a central role in the management of these patients. Recent developments in practice have favored more comprehensive care for these patients, introducing nutritional support and physical activity tailored to the patient's needs as soon as the disease is diagnosed, and readjusted throughout the trajectory of the patient. Sixty to eighty percent of pancreatic cancer patients are malnourished. Malnutrition and sarcopenia can lead to cachexia, which can become irreversible if nutritional interventions are not implemented early. Malnutrition is associated with multiple negative effects on quality of life, patient survival and the risk of treatment complications. Early and progressive nutritional support is recommended in line with French and European guidelines. The search for and treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and micronutrients is also recommended. Adapted physical activity has been associated with benefits in terms of quality of life and functional status in pancreatic cancer patients. Despite these encouraging results, many practical obstacles remain. More and more solutions are being proposed to make it easier to prescribe and guide patients towards adapted physical activity in routine practice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
