To improve the conditions of powder bentonite-steel slag forming, the composite adsorption particles were prepared from calcium-based bentonite and steel slag with the help of cross-linking of sodium alginate and calcium chloride. The post-adsorption morphology, elemental and physical phases of the composite particles were characterized by SEM-EDS and XRD analysis. The effect of composite adsorption particles on the adsorption of Cu (11) at different slag mass ratios, dosing amounts, pH, temperature and initial concentration was investigated by static adsorption experiments. The results showed that the removal rate of Cu(II) reached 92.95% at a compound particle dosage of 30 g/L, pH 5.2 and an initial Cu(II) concentration of 100 mg/L. The kinetics of Cu(II) adsorption by the composite particles is in accordance with the proposed first-order kinetic model, the adsorption thermodynamics is in accordance with the Lang-muir adsorption isotherm model, and the thermodynamically relevant parameters indicate that the adsorption of Cu(II) by the composite particles is a spontaneous, heat-absorbing procees. To develop the birth weight curve of singleton neonates with a gestational age of 24-42 weeks, and to investigate the regional differences of the birth weight curve. Methods A total of 11 maternal and child health hospitals with more than 7 000 neonates delivered annually were selected in 11 cities of China (Haikou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Liuzhou, Guilin, Quanzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Changsha, Ningbo, and Lianyungang), and all live singleton neonates delivered in the 11 hospitals from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2020 were enrolled for the development of birth weight curves. Results A total of 93 720 singleton neonates with a gestational age of 24-42 weeks from the 11 cities were included in the study. The reference values of the 3rd-97th percentiles of birth weight of singleton neonates for the total of the 11 cities and for each of the 11 cities were established, and the birth weight percentile curves were drawn. The birth weight curve level of singleton neonates in Shenzhen and Quanzhou was almost the same as the average level of the 11 cities; the birth weight curve level of singleton neonates in Haikou, Guangzhou, Guilin, and Liuzhou was slightly lower than the average level of the 11 cities; the birth weight curve level of singleton neonates in Chongqing, Chengdu, and Changsha was slightly higher than the average level of the 11 cities; the birth weight curve level of singleton neonates in Ningbo and Lianyungang was higher than the average level of the 11 cities. The average birth weight curve level of singleton neonates in the 11 cities were very close to that of China Neonatal Cooperation Network in 2011-2014. Conclusions The reference values of the 3rd-97th percentiles of birth weight of singleton neonates for the total of the 11 cities and for each of the 11 cities are developed, which can be used as a reference for evaluating the intrauterine growth of singleton neonates in the region. Four levels of nitrogen application (N1 low nitrogen, 90 kg M ⋅ hm-2; N2, normal nitrogen, 180 kg M ⋅ hm-2; N3, high nitrogen, 250 kg N ⋅ hm-2; N4, ukra high nitrogen, 330 kg M ⋅ hm-2) were set to examine the effects of nitrogen application on the growth and development, yield formation and related physiological characteristics of late rice under low temperature condition during heading and flowering stage, with super hybrid late rice variety Wufengyou T025 as test material. The results showed that yield of all treatments decreased in different degrees under the low temperature conditions, with the yield of N2 being the highest, and M, the lowest. The effective panicles per plant and total grains per panicle in N3 and N4 were higher than those of the other treatments, but their seed setting rate and harvest index were significantly decreased. With the increases of nitrogen application rates, pocketed panicle rate, the total dry mass and chlorophyll contents (SPAD value) increased to different extent, while the panicle dry mass of N2 was the highest. After low temperature, chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate of the total treatments decreased to varying degrees, and the declined range of the net photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate in N3 and N4 were higher than other treatments. The contents of free proline, malondialdehyde and peroxidase activity of all treatments increased to varying extent, while superoxide dismutase, catalyes activities and the soluble protein contents decreased, with the magnitude of variation in N3 and N4 being the greatest. It demonstrated that high amounts of nitrogen application wore unfavorable to late rice to resist low temperature at heading and flowering stage and thus misuse of nitrogen fertilizer application should be avoided in production. In this paper, a compound two-stage planetary gear set used in the industrial gearboxes of construction machines is studied in order to illustrate the inherent characteristics and the effects of the crack on the system. A three-dimensional lumped-parameter dynamic model for the gear set is established. Each component has three degrees of freedom, two of translation and one of rotation. The damping, bearing, time varying mesh stiffness and mesh phase relationship are taken into consideration. The relative displacement between two components are derived, and then the equations of motion for the compound planetary gear set are established. In the model, the gear tooth is treated as a cantilever beam on the root circle. Then, the analytical equations are derived to evaluate the time-varying mesh stiffness (TVMS) of a perfect and a cracked gear based on the improved potential energy method, respectively. Furthermore, the effects of the crack propagation on the TVMS are studied. The mesh phase relationships are also derived. Finally, the numerical analysis method is used to solve the equations of motion, and the inherent characteristics of the system with and without the defect are obtained, respectively. The effects of the crack propagation on the natural frequencies of the system are analyzed. Moreover, the influence of crack propagation on the nonlinear dynamic properties of the system are analyzed from the aspects of time history, order spectral analysis, phase trajectory and Poincare map. Aiming at resolving the absent difficulties of EV and EV charging station accessing to the grid in DC mode such as interface selection, control strategy. Based on the review of study that has been dressed, method of EV charging station connecting to DC distribution network was put forward. Then, bi-directional DC/DC converter were analyzed in detail from some aspects such as device types and functions. Taking the electrical isolation as a basis, the topologies was classified into two categories. Comparison about the performance of the topologies such as efficiency and control scheme has been made respectively. Three typical bi-directional DC/DC converter were compared and analyzed. In the final analysis, the results indicate that the two-way three level converters are most suitable for application and interface technology accessing to the DC distributed network with its high efficiency, simple structure and high reliability. The article presents a study which examines the genetic variation of avian nephropathogenic infectious bronchitis virus (NIBV) isolated in Shaanxi province, China. The study amplifies, clones, and sequences S1, M, and N genes of four isolates to determine the variation of IBV. Results show that the mutated epidemic IBV strains in the province is considered the leading cause of immunization failure.

A total of 79 rice materials containing Dongxiang wild rice (Oryza rufipogon Griff. ) backcross lines (Dwr) / Xie -qingzao B (Xqz B) / / Xqz B and their parents were chosen as the test objects to study the relationships between the drought resistance of these materials and the 31 drought resistance indices at germinating stage, seedling stage, booting stage, and mature stage. The results showed that the drought resistance index or the drought resistance coefficient of these materials were significantly correlated to the relative germination energy (RGE) under 15% PEG - 6000 drought stress, the germination drought resistance index (GDRI) and relative germination energy (RGE) under 20% PEG -6000 drought stress, and the relative value of maximum root length (MRL), seeding height (SH), fresh root mass (FRM), dry root mass (DRM), root relative water content (RRWC), wilting rate (WR), leaf soluble sugar content (LSSC), leaf proline content (LPC), leaf MDA content (LMDAC), leaf relative water content (LRWC), level of rolling leaf (RL), plant height (PH), tiller number per plant (TNP), productive tiller number per plant (PTNP), filled spikelets per panicle (FSP), panicle density (PD), seed setting rate (SR), and 1000-grain mass (TGM) under water stress. Through stepwise regression analysis, nine drought resistance indices including the RGE under 20% PEG -6000 drought stress and the relative values of DRM, RRWC, LSSC, LPC, LMDAC, ETNP, SR, and TGM under water stress were selected. Base on these indices and their partial correlation coefficients, the drought resistance evaluation equation (D value) and evaluation system were established, which could well assess the drought resistance of the Dongxiang common wild rice backcross lines at different growth stages. By the method of water culture, the low-phosphorus tolerance of 221 lines of Xieqingzao B//Xieqingzao B/Dongxiang wild rice BC1F9 populations was indentified. The morphological indices including plant height, leaf age, yellow leaf number, and shoot dry mass as well as the physiological indices including MDA, soluble sugar, and shoot phosphorus content were measured, also, the phosphorus efficiency was calculated, and the correlations among the indices were analyzed. All the 221 lines had differences in the seven test indices, and the low-phosphorus tolerance lines under low-phosphorus stress had higher values of relative leaf age, relative plant height, relative shoot dry mass, and relative soluble sugar content, but lower values of relative yellow leaf number and relative malondialdehyde content. The relative shoot phosphorus content had less difference. Phosphorus efficiency was positively correlated with phosphorus utilization efficiency and phosphorus uptake efficiency, and the correlation between phosphorus efficiency and phosphorus utilization efficiency was at significant level (P<0. 01), suggesting that the low-phosphorus tolerance capability of the low-phosphorus tolerance lines was mainly attributed to the high phosphorus utilization efficiency of the lines, namely, low-phosphorus tolerance lines had stronger capability in synthesizing dry mass with per unit phosphorus uptake. The physical parameters (such as density and longitudinal wave speed) of 25 pieces of granite rock were measured before and after high-temperature. With the ultrasonic and conventional compression methods, the Young's modulus of granite rocks after high-temperature was determined. The change of density, longitudinal wave speed and Young's modulus after high temperature was analyzed. The results show that the parameters of physical characteristics decrease with the increase of temperature. The variation amplitude of longitudinal wave speed is much greater than that of the density. The Young's modulus gained by ultrasonic method decreases much more than one gained by conventional method, which means that the change of physical characteristics of granite rock is more severe than that of its mechanical characteristics after high temperature. Objectives: To develop the birth weight curves of the Chinese Han (26-41 weeks of gestation) and Zhuang (28-41 weeks of gestation) singleton neonates in 11 cities of China, as well as the birth weight means of full-term neonates of 14 Chinese ethnic groups., Methods: The live singleton neonates who were born in 11 maternal and child health care hospitals from 11 cities of China between January 2017 and December 2020 were classified according to the mother's ethnic group. Birth weight means were calculated for the full-term neonates of each ethnic group. For the Han and Zhuang singleton neonates with a large sample size, the Lambda-Mu-Sigma (LMS) method was used to establish the birth weight percentile curves of the Han and Zhuang singleton neonates with different gestational ages., Results: A total of 105 365 live singleton neonates were included, among whom the Han neonates had the highest number of 84 851 (26-41 weeks of gestation), followed by the Zhuang neonates (12 803 neonates with a gestational age of 28-41 weeks). The neonates of the other Chinese ethnic groups enrolled were live full-term singleton neonates, with a sample size of more than 100 neonates for each ethnic group. The 3rd-97th percentile curves of birth weight were established for the Han singleton neonates with a gestational age of 26-41 weeks and the Zhuang singleton neonates with a gestational age of 28-41 weeks. The birth weight curves of the Han singleton neonates at each gestational age were higher than those of the Zhuang singleton neonates. Birth weight means (3 199-3 499 g) and standard deviations were determined for 14 Chinese ethnic groups, i.e., Li, Mulao, Zhuang, Yao, Dong, Miao, Han, Buyi, Mongolian, Tujia, Yi, Hui, Man, and Korean ethnic groups. The Li ethnic group had the lowest birth weight, followed by the Mulao, Zhuang, Yao, Dong, Miao, Han, Buyi, Mongolian, Tujia, Yi, Hui, Man, and Korean ethnic groups., Conclusions: The 3rd-97th percentile curves of birth weight are developed for the Han (26-41 weeks of gestation) and Zhuang (28-41 weeks of gestation) singleton neonates in 11 cities of China, and birth weight means are determined for the full-term neonates of 14 Chinese ethnic groups in 11 cities of China, which provides a reference for evaluating the intrauterine growth of neonates in these ethnic groups.

High temperature stress occurs frequently in rice due to global warming. High-temperature hazard during the booting-flowering and grain-filling stages is one of the major factors limiting rice yield and quality. Here, we summarized the occurrence characteristics (identification, classification, region, and time) of high-temperature hazards, and the effects of high temperature on rice growth and development, including physiology, grain yield, and grain quality. Furthermore, we reviewed molecular biology aspects including quantitative trait locus mapping, transcriptome analysis, proteome analysis, and the monitoring, early warning, risk assessment of high-temperature hazards in rice. The defensive measures against high temperature in rice including selecting heat-resistant varieties, improving field management practices and spraying exogenous substances were intensively described. Finally, future research work on high-temperature hazards in rice was prospected to provide the scientific support for rice high-temperature defense, agricultural disaster reduction, and agricultural efficiency improvement.

Taking super hybrid rice variety 'Wufengyou T025' as test material, the effects of different irrigation methods and water layer depth on physiological characteristics and yield in double-season late rice under low temperature conditions during heading and flowering stage were investigated. Three treatments were set, i.e., draining during day and containing 4-5 cm water layer during night (H 1 ), draining during day and containing 8-10 cm water layer during night (H 2 ), and containing 8-10 cm water layer day and night (H 3 ), with the 0-1 cm water layer day and night was as the control (CK). The results showed that rice leaf temperature, soil layer temperature and canopy temperature under the different irrigation treatments were higher than that of CK, and the warming effect of treatment H 2 was the best during the low temperature period. Leaf chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, leaf stomatal conductance and intercellular CO 2 concentration of rice plants decreased gradually under the low temperature, while the smallest reduction occurred in H 2 . The increase ranges of malondialdehyde and proline content in H 2 were lower, while its soluble protein content was the highest compared with other irrigation treatments. The increase ranges for the activities of superoxide dismutase and peroxidase in H 2 were lower, while its decrease range for the activity of catalase was the lowest. Irrigation for heat preservation could increase the yield, and H 2 performed best. Yield of H 2 at the second sowing date in 2014 and 2015 encountering low temperature increased by 12.9% and 13.5% respectively compared to CK. The yield components including the effective panicle numbers per plant, panicle length, seed setting rate and 1000-grain mass were improved in all irrigation treatments compared to CK. Draining during day and containing 8-10 cm water layer during night (H 2 ) was the most effective agronomic measure to enhance the tolerance to low temperature during heading and flowering stage for double-season hybrid late rice.

Super hybrid early rice variety Ganxin 203 was used as test material, and four foliar spraying treatments were set using clear water as the control group (CK), and 3 concentrations of potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KH 2 PO 4 ) with 0.1% (P1), 0.3% (P3), 0.5% (P5) and po-tash (MH). The effects of spraying P and K fertilizers on the leaf temperature, yield and physiolo-gical characteristics in double-season early rice under low temperature conditions during panicle primordium differentiation stage were studied. The results showed that during the low temperature period 6:00-18:00, rice leaf temperature under the different treatments with potassium dihydrogen phosphate and potash was higher than that of CK. Leaf chlorophyll content and net photosynthetic rate (P n ) of rice plants decreased gradually with the treatments under low temperature, while the reduction range was the smallest in treatment P3. The activities of the antioxidative enzymes varied to different extents, and the increase range for the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POD) in treatment P3 were higher than those in the other treatments. The decrease range of the activity catalase (CAT) in treatment P3 was lower than that in the other treatments. At the end of low temperature treatment, malondialdehyde (MDA) content was the highest in CK. Under low temperature, foliar spraying of potassium dihydrogen phosphate or potash could improve dry matter accumulation to varying degrees and achieve the purpose of slowing down the yield decrease, among which treatment P3 was the best. It could be found from the yield components that the total grains per panicle, seed setting rate and 1000-grain mass were significantly improved for all treatments compared to CK. The application of foliar spraying of 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate was the most effective agronomic measure to enhance the resistance to low temperature during panicle primordium differentiation stage for double-season super hybrid early rice.

In this study,the content of ethanol extraction of agarwood were performed following the method of Chinese Pharmacopoeia(ChP 2015 edition). The chromatographic fingerprints were established by GC-MS. Similarity Evaluation System for Chromatographic Fingerprint of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）(version 2012) was employed to calculate the similarity of each chromatogram of agarwood. The ratios of sum peak area in the range of 170-270 min and 0-100 min of individual chromatogram were calculated using square peaks to normalization. AMDIS and RI were employed to identify the common and different peaks. Correlation coefficient P(corr) combined with Variable important in projection(VIP) value was employed to screen the different representative components based on OPLS-DA analysis. Grey related degree and TOPSIS were used to evaluate the quality of artificial agarwoods. The results showed that more than 10.0% of the ethanol extract content was found in 15 batches of artificial agarwoods among the total 18. The similarity of 18 batches artificial agarwoods was 0.439-0.779. The peak area ratios of two intervals were in the range of 0.307-13.254. The 9 common components and 8 different components were identified. Meanwhile, 2% salicylic acid is the best inducer based on grey related degree and TOPSIS. Grey related degree and TOPSIS can be used to evaluate the quality of artificial agarwoods rapidly. The secondary metabolites of endophytic fungus Cerrena sp.A593 from Pogostemon cablin and their cytotoxic activities were investigated. Eight sesquiterpenoids were isolated from the fermentation broth of the strain A593 by silica gel, reverse phase silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, HPLC and so on. Their structures were identified as chloriolin B(1), chloriolin C(2), pleurocybellone A(3), dihydrohypnophilin(4), cucumin F(5), antrodin A(6), 10α-hydroxyamorphan-4-en-3-one(7), and connatusin A(8). Compounds 1- 8 were firstly found from the genus Cerrena. All isolated sesquiterpenoids were evaluated for in vitro cytotoxic activities against HepG-2, SF-268, MCF-7 and NCI-H460 tumor cell lines. Seventy-two strains of endophytic fungi were isolated from roots, stems and leaves of Pogostemon cablin and identified as 40 species of 25 genera based on ITS sequences analysis. Among them, Phomopsis, Colletotrichum and Fusarium were dominant genera. Distribution of endophytic fungi in P. cablin showed obvious tissue-specificity, and more strains were isolated from stems with an isolation rate of 78%. The bioassay results indicated that 34 strains of 15 genera displayed antimicrobial activities against at least one of test bacteria or plant pathogenic fungi. To study active secondary metabolites of endophytic fungus Diaporthe longicolla A616 isolated from Pogostemon cablin. Ten compounds were isolated from fermentation product of the strain 616 by silica gel, reverse phase silica gel, Sephadex-LH20, HPLC and so on. Their structures were identified as 1,3-diamino-1,3-dimethylurea(1),(7R,9R)-7-hydroxy-9-propyl-5-nonen-9-olide(2), Ergosta-5,7,22-trien-3β-ol(3),(22E,24R)-ergosta-4,6,8(14)-22-tetraen-3-one(4),(22E,24R)-3β,5α-dihydroxy-6β-ergosta-7,22-diene(5), citreoisocoumarin(6), glycerol monolinoleate(7), 1-(2-hydroxyethoxy)ethyl(E)-octadec-9-enoate(8), cyclo-(L-Pro-L-Ala)(9), cyclo(L)-Pro-(L)-Val(10), respectively, based on extensive spectroscopic analysis and literature comparisons. Compounds 6-10 were isolated from the genus Diaporthe for the first time. All isolated compounds were evaluated for in vitro cytotoxic activities against SF-268, MCF-7, NCI-H460 and HepG-2 tumor cell lines. Objective: To study the secondary metabolites of the endophytic fungus Arthrinium sp. A092 from Uvaria microcarpa., Methods: The compounds were isolated and purified by silica gel column chromatography, reverse silica gel column chromatography, Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, HPLC, preparative TLC and recrystallization. Their structures were identified by extensive analysis of their spectroscopic data., Results: Ten compounds were isolated from the fermentation broth extract of strain A092 and identified as flemingipanic acid(1), ( - )-gynuraone(2),2-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-ethanol(3),2-hexyl-methymaleic anhydride(4), {1-[(12E, 16E)]-12,16-eicosadienoyl]-2-[ (E, E)-7, 10-octadecadienoyl]-3-stearoylglycerol} (5), mycoediketoperazine (6), libertellenone C(7),4-hydroxymethyl-4, 6-octadiene-2, 3-diol (8), dimethyl phthalate (9), and di-(2-ethyl)-hexylphthalate (10)., Conclusion: Compounds 1,3 - 5 and 8 - 10 are isolated from the genus Arthrinium for the first time.

Objective: To explore whether lipoxin A(4) (LXA(4))could prevent lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) monolayer hyperpermeability and its possible mechanism., Methods: Human umbilical cords were obtained from women with normal pregnancy immediately after delivery from Tongji Hospital Affiliated of Tongji Medical College. Primary HUVEC were isolated from umbilical veins and subcultured, then, HUVEC were divided into four groups:control group; LPS group (10 mg/L of LPS); LPS + LXA(4) group(10 mg/L of LPS and 100 nmol/L of LXA(4)); LPS + LXA(4) + BOC-2 group [10 µmol/L of BOC-2, an effective antagonist of formyl peptide receptor like 1 (FPRL-1)]. All expriments were performed after cells were treated for 24 hours. Endothelial permeability was measured by fluorescein isothiocyan-ate labelled bovine serum albumin (FITC-BSA) clearance across the monolayer; tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) mRNA and secretion were detected by reverse transcriplase (RT)-PCR and ELISA assay respectively, and nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) protein change was determined by western blot., Results: (1) LPS induced a significant increase in the permeability [Pa value of LPS group was (183.1 ± 1.7)%], while co-administrating with LXA(4) obviously attenuated this LPS-induced hyperpermeability, Pa value of LPS + LXA(4) group was (103.1 ± 2.2)%, LPS + LXA(4) + BOC-2 group was (162.2 ± 2.8)%, control group was 100%, the permeability of HUVEC monolayer was significantly increased by LPS which was (83.1 ± 1.7)% of control (P < 0.01), however, it was notably inhibited by LXA(4) (P < 0.05); the blockade of FPRL-1 could attenuate the effect of LXA(4), that is, there was no difference between the LPS + LXA(4) + BOC-2 group and the LPS group. (2) After treatment with different concentration of LPS(0, 0.1, 1, 10 mg/L), the mRNA expressions of TNF-α were increased (1.11 ± 0.11, 1.27 ± 0.03, 1.60 ± 0.06, 1.82 ± 0.04, respectively), compared with the control group, at the concentration of 1, 10 mg/L LPS, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). (3) The increased levels of NF-κB and inflammatory mediator TNF-α in the LPS group were both inhibited by LXA(4). Levels of NF-κB protein and TNF-α mRNA secretion in LPS treated group (0.53 ± 0.06 and 0.81 ± 0.09, respectively) were both inhibited by LXA(4)(0.19 ± 0.05 and 0.41 ± 0.07, respectively, and both had significant difference, P < 0.05). (4) Levels of TNF-α in HUVEC culture medium of LPS group [(31.94 ± 0.01) ng/L] was significantly higher than the control group [(18.17 ± 0.03) ng/L, P < 0.05], LPS + LXA(4) group [(15.72 ± 0.07) ng/L] was significantly lower than the LPS group (P < 0.05)., Conclusion: Our findings demonstrated that LXA(4) could prevent the endothelial cell hyperpermeability induced by LPS in HUVEC under which the possible mechanism was through inhibiting the expression of NF-κB and its related cytokines through receptor-dependent.

Objective: To classify the leaves of Chimonanthus nitens, Chimonanthus Salicifolius, Chimonanthus zhejiang and their fried samples, Discriminating equation was established to distinguish categories of raw materials., Methods: The spectra of three kinds of Chimonanthus and fried samples were determined by FTIR. Principal component analysis, clustering analysis and discriminative analysis were applied to classify three kinds of Chimonanthus leaves and fried samples from different areas according to the relative absorbance of common peaks between 400 to 4000 cm(-1)., Results: 26 samples were divided into four classes, the discriminating accuracy was 96%., Conclusion: The method is rapid, simple and could be applied to evaluate the quality of Chimonanthus leaves without damaging to sample, and it is easy to identify the adulteration.

Objective: To explore the effects of lipoxin A(4) (LXA(4)) on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced oxidative stress in human umbilical veins endothelial cells (HUVEC) and the possible mechanism., Methods: Neonatal umbilical cords were obtained from normal term pregnant women with cesarean section within 4 hours and then were used to isolate HUVEC for subculture. HUVEC were divided into four groups:control group; LPS group (10 µg/ml of LPS); LPS + LXA(4) group (10 µg/ml of LPS and 100 nmol/L of LXA(4)); LXA(4) group (100 nmol/L of LXA(4)). All expriments were performed after cells treated for 12 and 24 hours respectively. Immunofluorescence was used to detect the expression of VIII foctor and nuclear translocation of nuclear factor-erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2); the mRNA expression of Nrf2, heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1) and reduced form of nicotinamide-adenine dinucleotide quinone oxidoreductase-1 (NQO1) were evaluated by reverse transcription-PCR., Results: (1) The flavovirens fluorescence was observed in the cytoplasm under fluorescence microscope, which confirmed the existence of VIII factor which specifically expressed in endothelial cells, especially in HUVEC. (2) Immunofluorescent results showed that in control group, Nrf2 protein expressed in the cytosol rather than in the nucleus. In LPS group, the expression of Nrf2 protein obviously increased in the nucleus while decreased in the cytosol after 12 hours. However, after LPS treatment for 24 hours, Nrf2 expression reduced in the cytosol and nucleus. In co-treatment with LPS and LXA(4) group, the expression of Nrf2 protein was much higher than that in LPS group after 12 hours or 24 hours. Furthermore, Nrf2 protein also mostly expressed in the cytosol in LXA(4) group. (3) After stimulation for 12 hours, compared with control group, the gene expression of Nrf2 and HO-1 were significantly enhanced in LPS group (0.581 ± 0.019 and 0.081 ± 0.009, P < 0.05) and in LPS + LXA(4) group (0.692 ± 0.048 and 0.136 ± 0.018, P < 0.05), the level of NQO1 mRNA in LPS group and LPS + LXA(4) group were 0.381 ± 0.009 (P > 0.05) and 0.574 ± 0.034 (P < 0.05). After treatment for 24 hours, compared with control goup, the gene expressions of Nrf2 and NQO1 were down-regulated in LPS group (0.180 ± 0.017 and 0.472 ± 0.064, P < 0.05). But in LPS + LXA(4) group the expression of Nrf2 and NQO1 were upregulated (0.532 ± 0.051 and 0.830 ± 0.068, P < 0.05, compared with treatment for LPS group). The mRNA expressions of Nrf2, HO-1 and NQO1 were increased in LPS + LXA(4) group compared with LPS group (P < 0.05). In addition, there was no markedly difference in the expressions of Nrf2, HO-1 and NQO1 between control and LXA(4) group after 12 hours and 24 hours (P > 0.05)., Conclusion: Through activating nuclear translocation of Nrf2 protein from cytoplasm, LXA(4) upregulates the Nrf2 downstream enzymes, such as NQO1 and HO-1 to protect HUVEC against the oxidative stress induced by LPS.

Objective: To screen and identify the peptides that specifically bind to CD13 on monocytes., Methods: The phages capable of specific binding to CD13 were screened in the phage-displayed 12-peptide library. The affinity of the selected phages with CD13 was verified with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The sequences of the peptides bound to the phages were deduced according to the phage DNA sequences, and the functional peptides aligned using the BLASTP on the Website NCBI were synthesized. To analyze the biological function of the screened peptides, the location of the peptides bound to THP-1 cells was detected using immunofluorescence assay. The blocking effect of WM15 on the peptide binding to THP-1 cells was assessed by immunofluorescence assay., Results: The phages that specifically bound to CD13 were effectively enriched to approach saturation after 4 rounds of panning. The recovery rate in the fourth round was 30 times that in the first round. Twenty selected phages were verified by ELISA, and the signals of 10 phages were higher than the control. The sequences of the peptides P9 and P7 showed 83% and 100% identity with those of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) UL38 and UL105, respectively. The peptides bound to the cell membrane of THP-1 cells as shown by immunofluorescence assay. The binding of the peptides P9 and P7 to THP-1 cells was blocked by CD13-specific monoclonal antibody WM15 at different levels., Conclusion: Two peptides (P7 and P9) that can specifically bind to CD13 have been screened successfully, and these two peptides show specific binding to CD13 on the membrane of THP-1 cells.

Objective: To search for the best program for treatment of peripheral nerve incomplete injury., Methods: Ninety cases were randomly divided into a treatment group, a control group I and a control group II, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group were treated with electroacupuncture at Jianyu (LI 15), Hegu (LI 4), Quchi (LI 11), etc. plus functional training, and the control group I with electroacupuncture and the control group H with functional training. After treatment for 3 months, basic function, practical function, EMG, nerve conduction velocity were compared among the 3 groups., Results: The good rate of basic function of 50.0%, the curemarkedly effective rate of practical function of 50.0% and the total effective rate of neurophysiology of 64.3% in the treatment group were better than 20.7%, 17.2%, 41.4% in the control group I (P < 0.05) and 23.3%, 20.0% and 36.O7% in the control group II (P 0.05)., Conclusion: Electroacupuncture combined with functional training can accelerate nervous repair, promote functional recovery of the denervated muscles, so as to shorten the restoring time of nerve-muscle and increase life quality of the patient.

Methods The aimed segments were obtained from intermediate vector pMD18-T/CCK and were inserted into an eukaryotic expression plasmid pIRES2-EGFP to construct a recombinant expression plasmid pIRES2-EGFP/CCK. The recombinant expression plasmid was transfected into COS-7 cells by liposome-mediated gene transfer method and was observed through fluorescence microscope. The plasmid was injected into the skeletal muscle of hamsters directly to detect the expression of the recombinant plasmid in vivo., Results: A recombinant eukaryotic expression plasmid pIRES2-EGFP/CCK was successfully constructed. Green fluorescent protein could be detected in the transfected COS-7 cells 24, 48, and 72 hours after the transfection. On the 4th day postinjection into the skeletal muscle of hamsters, the protein could be detected at the injection site and the fluorescence intensity became much stronger on the 14th day than that on the 4th day. On the 42nd day the protein level increased. The green fluorescence protein was never expressed in the untransfected cells., Conclusion: The porcine CCK gene eukaryotic expression plasmid pIRES2-EGFP/CCK is constructed successfully, and is expressed in mammal COS-7 cells and hamsters in vivo. The research paves the way for the cross immunity therapy of hamster pancreatic carcinoma.

Green fluorescent protein could be detected in the transfected COS-7 cells 24, 48, and 72 hours post transfection and the expression of green fluorescent protein reached its peak 72 h post transfection. The green fluorescent protein could be detected at the injection site on the 4th day post injection and the fluorescence intensity became stronger on the 14th day. The level of fluorescence became ever stronger on the 42nd day. No expression of green fluorescence was detected in the control group., Conclusion: Porcine CCK cDNA eukaryotic expression plasmid pIRES2-EGFP/CCK has been successfully constructed and expressed in mammal cells COS-7 and hamster in vivo. The research paved the way for cross immunity therapy of hamster pancreatic carcinoma.
