The report released by the commission set up to probe the 9/11 terrorist attack reveals that the United States is too big, its bureaucracy too clumsy, its society too open to seal up every hole the terrorists slipped through that day, and issues 41 recommendations for making the nation safer. The probability of another terrorist attack striking US is analyzed by revisiting the commission's report to seek answers to the questions lingering in the minds of the public as to whether the problems that existing in the US security system in 2001 were fixed and whether the remedies for existing weaknesses created new ones.
