Abstract

The war against terror of the US is a confused affair, in which the enemy cannot be identified as one belonging to a particular race, religion or region possessing characteristic ideologies, as was the case during the Civil War and World War II. Three published books, which suggest the name of 'war on Jihadism' for the ongoing battle against terrorism, are discussed.
