'No accident': Release of an intelligence report throws Bush off stride

Excerpts of a NIE report on terror threats to the United States as a result of the 'global war on terror' reveal that a terror attack may be imminent in the US. Repeated claims made by the US President George W. Bush, the vice president and terrorism analysts that their efforts have resulted in the successful prevention of terror attacks since 9/11/2001, while seriously believing that their country is not totally insulated from the chance of an impending high-death-attack by terrorists, seem to be inviting trouble and provoking terrorists.
