- Abstract
The article presents a study of two drawings by Francesco Vanni. This paper focuses on the anonymous drawings on display at the Fitzwilliam Museum specifically two of Francesco Vanni's. They include a sketch for the "Miracle of St. Hyacinth," a large altar-piece painted for the church of St. Spirito in Sienna during 1600. A bozzetto that completes the composition which was thought to be lost is now found at the Fitzwilliam. Another figure featured here is a small sketch of "The Adoration of the Magi," which may have been cut from a larger sheet.
