This research, focused on small work groups, proposes to examine the role of the leader in the appropriation of collaborative information systems. It is based on a three-year action research conducted during the implementation of the Microsoft Teams collaborative platform at a university. The aim is to understand how groups of students organize themselves to carry out complex projects over a long period of time and with varying distance constraints. Differences in the appropriation of the new tool appeared depending on whether the mode of work was cooperative or collaborative. To understand these different dynamics, we mobilize Vygotsky's activity theories (TA), more precisely Engestr{\"o}m's 2nd generation TA model (2000). The results reveal the role of leaders through the cooperation versus collaboration tension. In an increasingly dynamic and modern market, the recurrence of unexpected events necessitates proactive responses from information system (IS) stakeholders. Each IS actor strives to legitimize its actions and communicate its strategy. This study delves into the realm of IS legitimation, focusing on the communication of two key stakeholders: IS consultancy companies and international organizations, particularly in the context of unexpected events. To achieve this objective, we examined a diverse array of publications released by both actors. How can technical advice on operating experience feedback be managed efficiently in an organization that has never used knowledge engineering techniques and methods? This article explains how an industrial company in the nuclear and defense sectors adopted such an approach, adapted to its "TA KM" organizational context and falls within the ISO30401 framework, to build a complete system with a "SARBACANES" application to support its business processes and perpetuate its know-how and expertise in a knowledge base. The adoption of human oversight measures makes it possible to regulate, to varying degrees and in different ways, the decision-making process of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, for example by placing a human being in charge of supervising the system and, upstream, by developing the AI system to enable such supervision. Within the global governance of AI, the requirement for human oversight is embodied in several regulatory formats, within a diversity of normative sources. On the one hand, it reinforces the accountability of AI systems' users (for example, by requiring them to carry out certain checks) and, on the other hand, it better protects the individuals affected by the AI-based decision (for example, by allowing them to request a review of the decision). In the European context, the AI Act imposes obligations on providers of high-risk AI systems (and to some extent also on professional users of these systems, known as deployers), including the introduction of human oversight tools throughout the life cycle of AI systems, including by design (and their implementation by deployers). The EU legislator is therefore going much further than in the past in "spelling out" the legal requirement for human oversight. But it does not intend to provide for all implementation details; it calls on standardisation to technically flesh out this requirement (and more broadly all the requirements of section 2 of chapter III) on the basis of article 40 of the AI Act. In this multi-level regulatory context, the question of the place of humans in the AI decision-making process should be given particular attention. Indeed, depending on whether it is the law or the technical standard that sets the contours of human oversight, the "regulatory governance" of AI is not the same: its nature, content and scope are different. Our study focuses on Wikipedia talk pages, from a global perspective analyzing contributors' behaviors in online interactions. Using a corpus comprising all Wikipedia talk pages in French, totaling more than 300,000 discussion threads, we examine how discussions with more than two participants (multiparty conversation) unfold and we specifically investigate the role of a third participant's intervention when two Wikipedians have already initiated an exchange. In this regard, we concentrate on the sequential structure of these interactions in terms of articulation among different participants and aim to specify this third message by exploring its lexical particularities, while also proposing an initial typology of the third participant's message role and how it aligns with preceding messages., Comment: in French language. In this study, we propose a corpus analysis of an area of the French lexicon that is both dense and highly structured: the vocabulary of family relationships. Starting with a lexicon of 25 nouns designating the main relationships (son, cousin, mother, grandfather, sister-in-law etc.), we examine how these terms are positioned in relation to each other through distributional analyses based on the use of these terms in corpora. This article aims to study some $n$-tuples of elements belonging to a ring $\mathbb{Z}/N\mathbb{Z}$ related to the combinatorics of congruence subgroups of the modular group. More precisely, we will focus here on the notion of minimal monomial solutions. These are the solutions of a matrix equation (also appearing during the study of Coxeter's friezes), modulo an integer $N$, all of whose components are identical and minimal for this property. Our objective here is to study the links between the size of minimal monomial solutions and a property of irreducibility which is central in the study of the combinatorics of the modular group. In response to the negative environmental, social, and economic externalities of the dominant food model, a consensus is emerging on the need to develop alternative food systems capable of facilitating a transition to a more sustainable model. Among these alternatives, short food supply chains (SFSCs) are identified as potential crucibles of alternativity. Defined as distribution channels with a maximum of one intermediary between producer and consumer, SFSCs can contribute to the reterritorialization of food flows and the creation of relational and geographical proximities among food chain actors. This study examines how logistical engagement translates into the choice of SFSC points of sale by consumers and farmers. It evaluates this engagement through the travel times farmers and consumers are willing to endure to sell or buy at an SFSC point of sale, and the prices they are willing to accept or pay for SFSC products. A discrete choice experiment conducted in 2022 with 154 farm managers and 1022 consumers analyzed preferences regarding types of points of sale, sales prices, travel times, and relational proximity. The results show that consumers engaged in SFSCs favour alternative points of sale such as farms and associations, even for longer travel times. Farmers also value these points of sale, with logistical engagement more pronounced among those already marketing through SFSCs. Supermarkets appear less attractive to alternative profiles but serve as entry points for new participants in SFSCs. Relational proximity between farmers and consumers is important, with a preference for direct exchanges during sales. This study highlights the importance of actor engagement in SFSCs and offers perspectives for developing alternative logistics by valuing relational proximity and using conventional points of sale as entry points for new actors in the SFSCs., Comment: in French language

Conventionally, surface tension is expressed as a force per unit length or as an energy per unit area.In this paper, we propose a thought experiment which consists of replacing the surface tension by an equivalent force gradient following fluid mechanics principles. Such a system of equivalent forces allows to analyze the effects of tensioactivity in terms of force per unit area or in terms of energy per unit volume.This theoretical tool proposes an alternative vision of tensioactivity forces at the interfaces and allows to rewrite the wellknown capillarity equations by calculating forces equilibrium at steady state. In this memoir, we seek to construct a dynamical theory as complete as possible to describe the algebraic properties of the field of real numbers in constructive mathematics without axiom of dependent choice. We propose a theory which turns out to be very close to the theory of real closed local rings in classical mathematics. Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT or Bard have revolutionized information retrieval and captivated the audience with their ability to generate custom responses in record time, regardless of the topic. In this article, we assess the capabilities of various LLMs in producing reliable, comprehensive, and sufficiently relevant responses about historical facts in French. To achieve this, we constructed a testbed comprising numerous history-related questions of varying types, themes, and levels of difficulty. Our evaluation of responses from ten selected LLMs reveals numerous shortcomings in both substance and form. Beyond an overall insufficient accuracy rate, we highlight uneven treatment of the French language, as well as issues related to verbosity and inconsistency in the responses provided by LLMs., Comment: in French language

OPALE is a multi-service mobile app for users of the Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University campuses, combining the discovery of practical, cultural and scientific resources with useful everyday functions. Points of interest are geolocated on a map of the campus and can be reached via an itinerary. But an itinerary to a building is not always enough to find your way around. The orientation problem often lies in the last few metres: between the entrance to the building and the room you are looking for. Major transformations related to information technologies affect InformationSystems (IS) that support the business processes of organizations and their actors. Deployment in a complex environment involving sensitive, massive and heterogeneous data generates risks with legal, social and financial impacts. This context of transition and openness makes the security of these IS central to the concerns of organizations. The digitization of all processes and the opening to IoT devices (Internet of Things) has fostered the emergence of a new formof crime, i.e. cybercrime.This generic term covers a number of malicious acts, the majority of which are now perpetrated using social engineering strategies, a phenomenon enabling a combined exploitation of ``human'' vulnerabilities and digital tools. This paper presents the development of a lexicon centered on emerging concepts, focusing on non-technological innovation. It introduces a four-step methodology that combines human expertise, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to establish a model that can be generalized across multiple domains. This process includes the creation of a thematic corpus, the development of a Gold Standard Lexicon, annotation and preparation of a training corpus, and finally, the implementation of learning models to identify new terms. The results demonstrate the robustness and relevance of our approach, highlighting its adaptability to various contexts and its contribution to lexical research. Introduction: The HAS conducted a study in 2018 using the French National Health Data System (SNDS) on the care pathway of patients with epilepsy. This study used 2 algorithms to identify patients with epilepsy, based on hospitalization for epilepsy, insurance for chronic severe epilepsy, and antiepileptic drug (AE) dispensing, with exclusion of AEs not specific to epilepsy offering a low population estimate, or exclusion of dispensing in a context other than epilepsy (migraine, neuropathic pain, bipolar disorder, alcohol dependence, anxiety) offering a high population estimate. To study the characteristics of these 2 algorithms (low and high populations), we used data from CONSTANCES, a French generalist cohort and its control sample, which are matched to SNDS data. Method: This is a validation study of a method for identifying patients with epilepsy in the SNDS. The study population was patients identified as epileptic according to the algorithms defined in the introduction, applied over the year 2018 and the reference population was all patients for whom there is a mention of epilepsy (free text field) in the inclusion and/or follow-up questionnaires of the CONSTANCES cohort for the years prior to 2019. Results: Among 156,819 patients present in the CONSTANCES cohort in 2018, 689 patients mentioned epilepsy in one of the questionnaires (0.4%). This number is lower than expected: in the literature, the prevalence of epilepsy in the general population is estimated at 0.6-0.7% in adults. This is due to under-reporting and lack of representativeness of epilepsy in the cohort, which we were able to estimate from the control sample data. Aware of these two limitations, we compared the characteristics of the algorithms with those of a control algorithm using insurance for chronic severe epilepsy and/or hospitalization for epilepsy as inclusion criteria in the SNDS. The accuracy of our SNDS algorithms is not very high (17.8% and 35% respectively in high and low populations) compared with the control algorithm (58.1%). However, they do improve sensitivity (+33 and +14 points respectively), with little loss of specificity (-1.2 and -0.3 points respectively). Discussion: The analysis of false-positive patients has enabled us to identify ways of improving the algorithms. Indeed, some AE drugs could be excluded from the inclusion criteria, as they are widely used in another indication. Retrieval-augmented machine translation leverages examples from a translation memory by retrieving similar instances. These examples are used to condition the predictions of a neural decoder. We aim to improve the upstream retrieval step and consider a fixed downstream edit-based model: the multi-Levenshtein Transformer. The task consists of finding a set of examples that maximizes the overall coverage of the source sentence. To this end, we rely on the theory of submodular functions and explore new algorithms to optimize this coverage. This study proposes an analysis of the different types of ethical approaches involved in the ethics of AI, and situates their interests and limits. First, the author introduces to the contemporary need for and meaning of ethics. He distinguishes it from other registers of normativities and underlines its inadequacy to formalization. He then presents a cartography of the landscape of ethical theories covered by moral philosophy, taking care to distinguish meta-ethics, normative ethics and applied ethics. In drawing up this overview, the author questions the relationship between ethics and artificial intelligence. The analysis focuses in particular on the main ethical currents that have imposed themselves in the ways of doing digital ethics and AI in our Western democracies. The author asks whether these practices of ethics, as they seem to crystallize today in a precise pattern, constitute a sufficient and sufficiently satisfactory response to our needs for ethics in AI. This article examines the integration of IT competitions, in particular Capture The Flag, into an information systems management course to fill skills gaps, particularly in the field of cybersecurity. An educational CTF team has been set up at IAE Paris-Est with the aim of developing students' skills. Workshops, challenges, and events have been organised to familiarise them with the CTFs and offer them support adapted to their level. Preliminary results show the importance of soft skills in improving cybersecurity skills. Colmez, Dospinescu and Niziol have shown that the only $p$-adic representations of $\rm{Gal}(\bar{\mathbb{Q}}_p/\mathbb{Q}_p)$ appearing in the $p$-adic \'etale cohomology of the coverings of Drinfeld's half-plane are the $2$-dimensional cuspidal representations (i.e. potentially semi-stable, whose associated Weil-Deligne representation is irreducible) with Hodge-Tate weights $0$ and $1$ and their multiplicities are given by the $p$-adic Langlands correspondence. We generalise this result to arbitrary weights, by considering the $p$-adic \'etale cohomology with coefficients in the symmetric powers of the universal local system on Drinfeld's tower. A novelty is the appearance of potentially semistable $2$-dimensional non-cristabelian representations, with expected multiplicity. The key point is that the local systems we consider turn out to be particularly simple: they are "isotrivial opers" on a curve. In parallel with the dissemination of information technology, we note the persistence of frontiers within creative practices, in particular between the digital arts and the performing arts. Crossings of these frontiers brought to light the need for a common appropriation of digital issues. As a result of this appropriation, the AvatarStaging platform and its software dimension AKN_Regie will be described in their use to direct avatars on a mixed theatre stage. Developed with the Blueprint visual language within Epic Games' Unreal Engine, AKN_Regie offers a user interface accessible to non-programming artists. This feature will be used to describe two perspectives of appropriation of the tool: the Plugin perspective for these users and the Blueprint perspective for programming artists who want to improve the tool. These two perspectives are then completed by a C++ perspective that aligns AKN_Regie with the language with which the engine itself is programmed. Segment routing (SR) offers precise control over the paths taken: it specifies a list of detours, called segments, in IP packets. However, the number of detours that can be specified is limited by the hardware. When calculating segment lists, it is therefore necessary to limit their size. Although solutions have been proposed for calculating these lists, they lack generality and are not always optimal or efficient. We present ROUTOURNE, a method for diverting routing algorithms so that they calculate, not simply an optimal physical path to be translated into a list of segments a posteriori (with no guarantee of its size), but directly the optimal lists of segments deployable by the underlying hardware. ROUTOURNE thus facilitates the deployment of advanced traffic engineering strategies and policies, notably for load balancing from sources. Despite a route fraught with surprising challenges - in particular, the loss of isotonicity induced by SR - ROUTOURNE proves efficient, inducing at worst a linear overhead. Artificial intelligence (AI), based on deep-learning algorithm using high-quality reanalysis datasets, is showing enormous potential for weather forecasting. In this context, the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) is developing a new forecasting system based on AI. Verification results of deterministic forecast for now are promising. However, the realism of weather forecasts based on AI is often questioned. Here, different types of realism are identified and we discuss, in particular, the relationship between structural realism and predictability of weather events. Furthermore, a statistical analysis of deterministic forecasts based on AI points to a realism/performance dilemma that a probabilistic approach should help to solve. -- L'intelligence artificielle (IA) bouleverse aujourd'hui le monde de la pr\'evision m\'et\'eorologique avec l'utilisation d'algorithmes d'apprentissage profond nourris par des champs de r\'eanalyses. Although counterfactual explanations are a popular approach to explain ML black-box classifiers, they are less widespread in NLP. Most methods find those explanations by iteratively perturbing the target document until it is classified differently by the black box. We identify two main families of counterfactual explanation methods in the literature, namely, (a) \emph{transparent} methods that perturb the target by adding, removing, or replacing words, and (b) \emph{opaque} approaches that project the target document into a latent, non-interpretable space where the perturbation is carried out subsequently. This article offers a comparative study of the performance of these two families of methods on three classical NLP tasks. Our empirical evidence shows that opaque approaches can be an overkill for downstream applications such as fake news detection or sentiment analysis since they add an additional level of complexity with no significant performance gain. We are convinced of the usefulness of sketches and diagrams during mathematical work but the observation is made in our practices that they are not spontaneously used by students. In order to study the understanding and use of sketches by mathematics students, we designed and then proposed a test at different university levels. The test consists of five exercises.The first concerns different representation registers of a set of numbers, the second on a graphic proof of an implicative algebraic proposition and the last three on the graphic approch to the notions of injectivity, surjectivity, bijectivity in the context of the analysis. The sketches, proposed or requested in each exercise, are intended to be aids to changes of register and reasoning. We present what motivated the choices and developments of the exercises then we analyze the results of these tests. This article proposes the construction of a systemic model of digital education as part of research applied to public policy (French Ministry of Education). Considering the digital domain in its pervasiveness, it highlights the importance of a complex approach to understanding the transformation of practices. As an applied research modality, we present digital theme groups (GTnum). The methodological approach combines a reflexive posture informed by research contributions, conceptual choices centered on digital humanities and the systems approach, participatory research and open science via the Hypotheses ''Education, digital and research'' notebook. As a result, our modeling is centered on a ''digital environment'' and six units of action put to the test via the GTnum themes. We interpret these results through a comparison with other systemic frameworks, an application to the axes of digital transformation in academies, a prospective reflection with the development of generative AI and perspectives for participatory research. Polymers are increasingly used in the transport sector due to their many advantages; lightness, corrosion resistance, ease to process... However, most of them have limited mechanical properties. To improve these latter, one of the solutions is the addition of nano-reinforcements, this type of material is called nanocomposite. The development of digital humanities has opened new perspectives in the history of Islam: whether dealing with thin or sometimes vast source corpora (such as S\=ira, al-Tbar\=i, al-Dahab\=i, etc.), these tools allow us to approach texts much more effectively from a statistical perspective, in order to support more general hypotheses and move beyond case studies. The article aims at identifying what, from a structural point of view, AI based automatic translators cannot fully capture. It focuses on the machine's mistakes, in order to try to explain its causes. The biblical story of Ca\"in and Abel has been chosen because of its rich interpretive and critical tradition, but also because of its semantic difficulty. The investigation begins with the observation, for the translation of this text, of the language pairs and interfaces offered by the best known machine translation services (Google Translate, DeepL). This paper presents the proof-of-concept of the first automatic voice assistant ever built in Wolof language, the main vehicular language spoken in Senegal. This voicebot is the result of a collaborative research project between Orange Innovation in France, Orange Senegal (aka Sonatel) and ADNCorp, a small IT company based in Dakar, Senegal. The purpose of the voicebot is to provide information to Orange customers about the Sargal loyalty program of Orange Senegal by using the most natural mean to communicate: speech. The voicebot receives in input the customer's oral request that is then processed by a SLU system to reply to the customer's request using audio recordings. The first results of this proof-of-concept are encouraging as we achieved 22\% of WER for the ASR task and 78\% of F1-score on the NLU task., Comment: in French language

Given the increasing pressures exerted by climate change on small-scale agriculture, the importance of participatory modelling methodologies that can consider both the human and environmental components of these systems has become more and more evident. The current study presents a socioeconomic system dynamics model of the food and environmental systems of the predominantly Indigenous region of Tz'ol{\"o}j Ya', Guatemala. The model was built in a participatory manner with stakeholders from the region and was then coupled to an external crop growth model before being applied to the analysis of the impact of future climate change and its potential interactions with various stakeholder-proposed policies. The analysis identified several feedback loops between environmental and human components of the system that can lead to counterintuitive responses to the proposed policies. At the same time, the use of an external crop growth model allowed for a more realistic, yet still easily implementable, representation of the impacts of climate change on crop production. This analysis is the first to use a socioeconomic system dynamics model coupled with an external crop growth model to analyse food security in the context of a local socio-environmental food system., Comment: in French language

The digitisation campaigns carried out by libraries and archives in recent years have facilitated access to documents in their collections. However, exploring and exploiting these documents remain difficult tasks due to the sheer quantity of documents available for consultation. In this article, we show how the semantic annotation of the textual content of study corpora of archival documents allow to facilitate their exploitation and valorisation. First, we present a methodological framework for the construction of new interfaces based on textual semantics, then address the current technological obstacles and their potential solutions.
