Business process modeling is one of the most important steps in managing the lifecycle of a business process. A digital twin of a business process is a virtual model of a business process designed to replicate the behavior of a real business process. The difference between a digital twin and a business process simulation is that the simulation does not require real-time data, while a digital twin is created based on real-time data. A digital twin comprises a physical entity in the real world, a software-based digital counterpart, and the data that links them both. When a created process communicates in real time with IoT devices and adapts its execution based on the information received in real time, this is referred to as a process digital twin. As the field of digital twins becomes increasingly popular, the challenge is to investigate how the process digital twin communicates with IoT devices in real time and updates its execution state. It defines AI and examines various methods, including machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, recommendation systems, sentiment analysis, data visualization, anomaly detection, expert systems, neural networks, and deep learning. The alignment problem is dissected into key aspects such as defining goals, value misalignment, robustness and safety, long-term consequences, and interpreting human preferences. The purpose of this study is to present a designed and implemented an integrated system for the sale, installation and monitoring of photovoltaic systems in a company that is one of the leaders on the Polish renewable energy market. The study also conducted a literature review on photovoltaic systems and green jobs. The basic architecture of the system envisages the use of a number of components responsible for: data preparation in the sales module; implementation in the installation module; supervision and monitoring of actions by management in the monitoring module. The integrated approach presented: increases efficiency through streamlined workflows; improves transparency through a central source of information; enables efficient management of resources; while monitoring the progress of management activities. In addition, the implementation of the integrated system has enabled real-time synchronisation of work between the sales department and the investment implementation and maintenance department. Artificial intelligence-enabled business models aim to improve decision-making, operational efficiency, innovation, and productivity. The presented systematic literature review is conducted to highlight elucidating the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) methods and techniques within AI-enabled businesses, the significance and functions of AI-enabled organizational models and frameworks, and the design parameters employed in academic research studies within the AI-enabled business domain. We reviewed 39 empirical studies that were published between 2010 and 2023. The studies that were chosen are classified based on the artificial intelligence business technique, empirical research design, and SLR search protocol criteria. According to the findings, machine learning and artificial intelligence were reported as popular methods used for business process modelling in 19% of the studies. Healthcare was the most experimented business domain used for empirical evaluation in 28% of the primary research. The most common reason for using artificial intelligence in businesses was to improve business intelligence. 51% of main studies claimed to have been carried out as experiments. 53% of the research followed experimental guidelines and were repeatable. For the design of business process modelling, eighteen AI mythology were discovered, as well as seven types of AI modelling goals and principles for organisations. Business Process Management (BPM) and Digital Transformation (DT) are two interconnected concepts. BPM involves identifying, analyzing, and improving business processes, while Digital Transformation leverages digital technologies to transform business operations. BPM provides the foundation for digital transformation by optimizing processes, and digital technologies enhance BPM by providing data, analytics, and automation tools. Together, BPM and digital transformation enhance business operations and lead to better customer experiences and increased profitability. Ultimately, the integration of BPM and digital transformation is a strategic imperative for organizations seeking to thrive in today's digitally driven landscape. A new approach combining BPM and DT named DT4BPM is proposed in this paper. DT4BPM takes advantage from both approaches and will have a lifecycle which includes in the proper way phases and sub-phases that were obtained through a positioning of each of the lifecycles of BPM and DT. In the educational filed, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aim to provide an opportunity to evaluate the performance of em- ployees, teachers' skills and pedagogy, students' results, learning objects, educational institutions and teaching-learning methods. In this research work, we focus on studying the performance of reading teaching-learning methods, specifically whole-word and syllabic languages learning methods. More precisely, we propose a Business Process Management (BPM) based approach for per- formance measurement of the corresponding business processes of the both methods. We elaborated the reading teaching-learning business processes using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), which is a widely adopted standard for formalizing busi- ness process modeling. We prepared a set of KPI for the different activities and for the whole process. We used these KPIs to gauge the performance of each business process and make comparisons between them. To validate our approach, we launched a dedicated questionnaire to primary school teachers in the third grade. By using this questionnaire, we were able to evaluate the overall perfor- mance of each reading process. Business Process LifeCycle (BPLC) is a topic never disappearing from the discussions in the Business Process Management (BPM) research. Nevertheless, most graphical models of BPLC are simple and need extended textual explanations to clarify them. What is more, to the best of our knowledge, these models are separated from the target process that is being changed in the BPLC. The paper investigates a possibility to have a model where lifecycle activities are connected to the elements of the target process, and assess the practical usefulness of such a model. The research uses the Fractal Enterprise Modeling (FEM) technique for building the model. The development of information technology allows the collaborative business process to be run across multiple enterprises in a larger market environment. However, while collaborative business expands the realm of businesses, it also causes various hazards in collaborative Interaction, such as data falsification, inconstancy, andmisuse. To solve these issues, a blockchainbased collaborative business modeling approach was proposed and analyzed. However, the existing studies lack the blockchain risk problem-solving specification, and there is no verification technique to examine the process. Consequently, it is difficult to confirm the appropriateness of the approach. Thus, here, we propose and build a blockchain-based trust model to strengthen and verify the integrity and security of the collaborative business process; Integrity and security address the validity of collaborative interactions in terms of a trust, and we construct a blockchain pattern based on trust elements to meet the required the characteristics. Specifically, a trust model can be applied to the healthcare data-sharing process, and then the achievement of the trustbased safe data-sharing process can be proven. Our model can be used as a trust-building guidance tool or for integrity and security verification with the collaborative business process in a distributed environment with blockchain. Crisis management is one form of management. It is applied in situations that we refer to as crisis. A crisis is a stressful situation for all interested parties, in which there is a greater or lesser threat to the values and assets. Coping with a crisis situation depends on many factors, while preparation is absolutely necessary, which must be done at a time when there is no crisis and ideally there is no threat. This preparation must also include the definition of crisis processes, i.e. the description of the behavior of each subject. At the time of crisis activation, everyone must know what rights and obligations they have and how they should fulfill these tasks. For the definition and description of these processes, it is possible to use proven means of process modeling, which have been used for a long time in many fields of human activity. According to a survey [1] conducted in 2021 by the Japan Institute for Labour Policy and Training (JILPT), 80 percent of companies place emphasis on OJT (On the Job Training) as a method of teaching business operations within their organization. However, OJT cannot clarify the knowledge of what and how people think when conducting operations. In order to resolve these issues, Tahara proposes the use of KW Lists that clarify thought processes according to the business process and the on-site knowledge required to perform operations. In this paper, we structure KW Lists in terms of thought processes and diagram them using ArchiMate. Through this method, the architecture of the KW (Knowledge &Wisdom) List becomes clear, enabling the visualization of the relationships among elements of the KW list, which had not been possible until now. In many areas of human activity, process modeling is perceived as a necessity, in some, it is even defined as an integral part of this activity. This fact showed that contemporary approaches to process modeling are, in some cases, not capable of describing the process with all its nuances. This paper defines a new paradigm (and subsequently a new process modeling methodology) that will suitably complement the existing paradigms. This is a state paradigm understanding the process as a transition between states. Chatbots have attracted much research attention in recent years, and organizations have increasingly begun applying them in everyday working life. However, researchers have rarely investigated how chatbots can support everyday tasks in enterprises. As such, we lack design knowledge for chatbots that support internal business processes since research has mostly examined customer-facing use cases. Notably, researchers have rarely considered chatbots' economic and user-related effects, which, thus, remain unknown. To address this gap, we conducted a design science research study to survey a process-based chatbot application for business processes. From examining the scenario, we deduced design principles and implemented a software artifact. We evaluated the concept with 69 participants and surveyed the users' perspective in terms of design and acceptance and the organizational perspective in terms of process efficiency and quality. In doing so, 1) we derived six design principles for process-based chatbots and implemented a respective chatbot, which enabled a user-adapted process and provided situational-dependent input options and support; 2) we found that users had a positive attitude towards using chatbots for business processes in terms of user experience and acceptance; and 3) the process performed at an economically efficient level that compared well with existing solutions and that IT affinity and prior experience had no influence on performance. The study develops a method for monitoring and management of the quality of educational programs using software instruments. The method describes each of the monitoring implementation stages in detail specifying the input and output data, as well as the controls that affect the time and quality of the implementation of the corresponding stage. Algorithm programs in the form of flowcharts reflecting all the content aspects are developed and formalized for the automatization of monitoring. The presented algorithm models allow implementing the program complex of the system for monitoring and management of the quality of educational programs using the modern object-oriented design and programming environments. The goal of the study is to develop a model of algorithms for the organization of monitoring and managing the quality of educational programs, which allow reducing the time costs of these processes while increasing the objectivity of quality assessment. The obtained results are intended for the audit of educational services, public control over the implementation of educational activities, accreditation of directions of training, or licensing of educational organizations. The developed algorithms provide for evaluating the content of each stage of the audit of an educational program, generate a list of notes ranked by importance, and ensure the rational allocation of resources for the implementation of each stage of the educational process. Many Japanese companies have introduced various business software packages (=packages) to improve operational efficiency. In some cases, the introduction of packages has not always been successful. However, few reports have quantitatively analyzed package introduction cases. This study proposes the Business Modularization Capability Index (BMCI), consisting of organizational, business, and modularization capabilities, to evaluate package introduction cases quantitatively. By quantitatively evaluating 17 package implementation cases using the BMCI, we clarify the relationship between organizational capability, clarification of operations, modularization of operations, and package consistency. Near-real-time monitoring and classification of business process event streams is becoming more and more prominent. This also includes ensuring data quality for the application of downstream online process mining activities and therefore identify and classify incorrect process behavior of incoming event streams in an online setting, what is considered too little in existing approaches. In this paper, we present an online classification approach that supports monitoring and anomaly detection in event streams at the event level. Possible process drifts can be handled by an online learning workflow. By integrating two explanatory components, the results of the online classification are made transparent and comprehensible. Through a technical experiment, the performance of the classification approach is evaluated based on different data sets. In software development, the contribution of each role is needed to run the business process according to the expected goals. This research was conducted to identify the programmer's contribution in the software engineering course. Based on the record of commit data through collaboration tools, it was found that programmers contributed less when compared to project managers and analysts. So, it is necessary to discover the programmer's workflow. Process mining techniques were used in this study to obtain a flow based on the event log generated by the collaboration tools. The results of this study were on average; each team carried out 4-6 activities. Based on SEQUAL framework, whether syntactic, semantic, or pragmatic, there are issues that occur, including deadlocks, lack of synchronization, superfluous activity, labeling issues, line crossing, and crooked alignment. Blockchain has been perceived to address the information integrity challenge of today's complex environment. While this technology posits huge potentials, current literature appears to run into shortness in study of blockchain use for expenditure process by design. Following the design science methodology, this study aims to fill the void through an instantiation of Hyperledger Fabric-based permissioned blockchain and Attribute-based Access Control method. We apply the blockchain feasibility on a procure-to-pay business process as the common example of accounting cycle. Background and purpose: Operational alignment, the alignment between business processes (BPs) and information systems (ISs), is a well-acknowledged requirement for improving business efficiency. However, a lack of sound foundation for the practical implementation of operational alignment remains in the existing literature. This is, in part, because previously developed coarse-grained strategic alignment models for operational alignment have overlooked the differences between strategic and operational levels of alignment. Additionally, while some studies have recognized these differences, they remain limited. This is partly due to their negligence of the IS's socio-technical nature or their focus on identifying the social antecedents and their effect on operational alignment, without considering how ISs meet the business requirements in achieving operational alignment. To overcome this potential lack of applicability, the purpose of this paper is to determine the right level of abstraction for describing BPs and ISs and reconceptualizing operational alignment. Methodology: This paper conducts empirical research using a grounded theory (GT), centering on semi-structured interviews with 28 experts involved in the Iranian top public universities. Data were analyzed by using MAXQDA software. Results: The resulting FunCaps framework specifies the required combinations of BP functions and IS capabilities for operational alignment. Conclusion: FunCaps reconceptualizes operational alignment based on operational planning and reciprocal integration and establishes the broader picture by considering an IS as a socio-technical system. Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is a standard graphical notation for modeling complex business processes. Given the importance of business processes, the modeling analysis and validation stage for BPMN is essential. In recent years, BPMN notation has become a widespread practice in business process modeling because of these intuitive diagrams. BPMN diagrams are built from basic elements. The major challenge of BPMN diagrams is the lack of formal semantics, which leads to several interpretations of the concerned diagrams. Hence, this work aims to propose an approach for checking BPMN collaboration diagrams to guarantee some properties of smooth functioning of systems modeled by BPMN notation. The verification approach used in this work is based on model checking techniques. The approach proposes as a first step a formal semantics of the collaboration diagrams in terms of the formal language DD-LOTOS, i.e., a phase of the transformation of collaboration diagrams into DD-LOTOS. This transformation is guided by applying the inference rules of the formal semantics of the DD-LOTOS formal language, and we then use the UPPAAL model checker to check the absence of deadlock, safety properties, and liveness properties. The analysis of business processes has become increasingly important in recent years, not least due to the emergence of analysis tools that enable data-centric views of processes and thus provide increasingly operational support for process flows. In this work, a semi-supervised classification model is presented that takes into account different developments in deep learning (e.g., deep generative models), time series analysis (e.g., long short-term memory) and sequence processing (e.g., attention mechanism) and combines them in one approach. The results of the experimental implementation of the classification model show that it is able to filter activity-related and time-related anomalies from the event data and outperform existing approaches in its classification accuracy (F1 score). A help desk system that acts as a single point of contact between users and IT staff is introduced in this paper. It utilizes an accurate ticket classification machine learning model to associate a help desk ticket with its correct service from the start and hence minimize ticket resolution time, save human resources, and enhance user satisfaction. The model is generated according to an empirically developed methodology that is comprised of the following steps: training tickets generation, ticket data preprocessing, words stemming, feature vectorization, and machine learning algorithm tuning. Nevertheless, the experimental results showed that including the ticket comments and description in the training data was one of the main factors that enhanced the model prediction accuracy from 53.8% to 81.4%. Furthermore, the system supports an administrator view that facilitates defining offered services, administering user roles, managing tickets and generating management reports. Also, it offers a user view that allows employees to report issues, request services, and exchange information with the IT staff via help desk tickets. Moreover, it supports automatic email notifications amongst collaborators for further action. Along the continuous transformations of enterprises, centralized service delivery models have been transitioning from an offshore employee sourcing to digital sourcing. Deploying software robots with robotics process automation (RPA) became one of the most important and fastest growing technologies in the recent years. In this research, the blended qualitative approach was applied, as a survey was followed by interpretative interviews and narrative analysis. This exploratory, empirical study discusses the key drivers behind RPA implementations (financials, employee impact, risks) identified among experts involved in the deployment of intelligent automation solutions at selected Nordic enterprises. The findings highlight the focus on the operational benefits like releasing employees from the most monotonous, non- value adding assignments, strengthening enterprise efficiency, compliance, and quality. Notably, the strategic and external (customer) impacts were not at the core of the RPA decision-making process among the studied case companies. The findings suggest that RPA is mainly perceived as an operational tool to automate and improve internal processes with little consideration of its strategic and external impact, including impact on customers and service quality. Play and work have been viewed in our societies as separate activities. The leaders of the companies consider that the game is reserved for the outside of the company. While in recent years gamification has changed this idea since its integration into business systems improves the motivation of employees and better involves them in their activities. But it still needs to be better detailed how to integrate gamification into the business process of the company. For this, we have chosen to introduce in this paper a new Gamified Business Process Management (GaBPM) lifecycle which includes the two life cycles of gamification and business process management and allows gamification to be easily applied to any business process of a company. A denial‐of‐service (DoS) attack is a serious attack that targets web applications. According to Imperva, DoS attacks in the application layer comprise 60% of all the DoS attacks. Nowadays, attacks have grown into application‐ and business‐layer attacks, and vulnerability‐analysis tools are unable to detect business‐layer vulnerabilities (logic‐related vulnerabilities). This paper presents the business‐layer dynamic application security tester (BLDAST) as a dynamic, black‐box vulnerability‐analysis approach to identify the business‐logic vulnerabilities of a web application against DoS attacks. BLDAST evaluates the resiliency of web applications by detecting vulnerable business processes. The evaluation of six widely used web applications shows that BLDAST can detect the vulnerabilities with 100% accuracy. BLDAST detected 30 vulnerabilities in the selected web applications; more than half of the detected vulnerabilities were new and unknown. Furthermore, the precision of BLDAST for detecting the business processes is shown to be 94%, while the generated user navigation graph is improved by 62.8% because of the detection of similar web pages. Paper presents the optimization of linear elastic multilayer foundation of the Timoshenko beam, which can be considered as a rail model. The moving load traveling along a beam with particular velocity, which distribution is characterized by Gauss function, is implemented in the model. The displacement caused by the load is dependent on multilayer foundation parameters such as layer thickness, a type of material and load parameters such as moving velocity as well its distribution on a beam. The optimization, i.e. minimization of the total displacement sum, as the result of objective function determined regarding chosen parameters of a foundation and load, as a design variable was carried out. The Comsol Multiphysics [1], is applied in order to solve the beam and moving load problem by using the finite element method [2,3,4,5,6]. The performances of current process recommendation need to be improved since they have different degrees of defects. To address this issue, based on metadata, this paper presents a multi-attribute utility group recommendation, which is expected to effectively improve the accuracy of process recommendation. First, a business process description framework (BPDF) is proposed. Then, the similarity between two processes is obtained by calculating the similarity of metadata features. Furthermore, the scenario-oriented group recommendation strategy is developed based on BPDF. The features used in this research are consistent with the key features of the processes in the application. The article is devoted to the analysis of business processes of additional education institutions on the basis of the process approach. The possibility of using the IDEF0 methodology for the implementation of the process approach in the analysis of business processes in additional education institutions is shown here. At process-aware information systems (PAIS), sometimes, a flexible deviation from the rigidly designed process becomes necessary. Otherwise the users would be restricted too much. This paper presents an approach that allows to define the expected flexibility requirements only once already at build-time and apply them at run-time in the PAIS. Compared to dynamic changes during run-time, this has the advantage that the usage of the pre-defined information reduces the effort for the end users at each deviation. Medical data privacy is nowadays an alarming issue thanks to the technological revolution witnessed in the medical field and the ease of data access and exchange leveraged by newly implemented Hospital Information Systems (HIS). In order to help protect patient data while offering them the required medical procedures, many computerized techniques could be made available to be implemented in HIS since an early stage of their design. Those techniques should be applied throughout the rolling of clinical pathways to preserve medical data privacy and security in order to enhance privacy governance within Hospitals. When considered as processes, and because of their complexity and multidisciplinary nature, clinical pathways should be modelled in a simple way paying attention to medical tasks and the underlining shared clinical data. It is important to highlight the data with higher protection and sensitivity level. These data characteristics will influence many governance and security decisions of each process. This work aims to present a methodology to model clinical pathway specifications for data driven clinical processes, distinguishing sensitive data from other data and identifying personal data protection principles and the Protected Health Information (PHI). In this context, we precise for each clinical task potentially involving data processing and sharing, the level of protection the data requires through the use of privacy tags and labels added to data elements predefined using the HL7 standard. This method of tagging would help mapping extracted data, classified into categories, to a set of privacy requirements as needed by the HIPAA legislation. Hence data protection and privacy governance are leveraged in a seamless and highly transparent way. The automatic decomposition of Internet of Things (IoT) aware business processes aims at transferring business logic to IoT devices, in order to reduce both the exchanged messages and the battery usage of such devices. Existing approaches are concerned with block structured processes or ignore data flow dependencies, which cannot be easily applied to processes modelled using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). In this paper, we extend our previous proposal by generalizing the patterns we use to identify the parts of the BPMN processes that IoT devices can execute, and to define the decomposition transformation, assuring that decomposed models maintain the flow dependencies of their original counterparts. This generalization allows for the application of the patterns in more situations than our previous work, further reducing the number of exchanged messages and increasing battery lifespan. With the emergence of cloud computing, building and developing a new Software by SaaS composition becomes a major concern in today's cloud business. First, the business analyst establishes the Business Process (BP) of the new SaaS. Then, the SaaS composer, based on functional and non-functional requirements, discovers and selects the potential SaaS components that can fill into each of the defined tasks in the BP. Currently, enterprises need more and more flexible SaaS business process as an adaptive composite SaaS from process vendors, which interest on context changes and needs evolutions. A meta-model is proposed in this paper dealing with different concepts involved in business cloud layer. This meta-model, in which both business process and service composition are considered, is accompanied by a case study. Modeling is the artifact of the outcome of some designing and analysis activity. Our idea is to present a formal way to use the mathematical analytic methods for exploring misalignment based on different concepts (information systems (IS), enterprise architecture (EA) business processes (BP)...) and relationships between various concepts in the domain of Enterprise IS (EIS) and try to align BP requirements. This paper presents a description of an analytical approach based on hypergraph representation for EA based on hypergraph theory. The hypergraph as a mathematical structure is very flexible thereby it offers the opportunity for unified and uniform handling of models and providing solutions for representing various views and perspectives of the functioning enterprise exploiting the service of IS. Companies are required to have good management, systems and performance in order to survive in today's competitive business. BPM (Business Process Management) and KM (Knowledge Management) implementation can help organizations improve their capabilities through the use of individual knowledge resources and better organizational collective knowledge. In unstructured and constantly changing processes, traditional BPM often encounters problems because of the deviation between the model process and the reality of its implementation, as well as failure to improve ideas and innovation to the end user of the BPM process. This problem can be solved by encouraging various stakeholders to participate actively to BPM implementation. Using social software on BPM initiatives can actively involve all relevant stakeholders and assist in the knowledge management process. This research follows several steps i.e. reviewing the literature, formulation problems, analyzing results from the literature and finally proposing a conceptual model. The dynamic economic situation in the country and the world supports a high demand for training services. Their provision requires more and more advanced IT support. The purpose of this article is standardisation of the assumptions for the design of an IT system intended for managing business processes present within the framework of training implementation undertakings, including those carried out in the e-learning mode. It is assumed that the pre-project, conceptual modelling of business processes and operations necessary for the organization, running and settlement of training, developed by the authors, shall provide the designers with the revised domain knowledge and by this it will increase the quality of the proposed IT system supporting the functioning of a company providing training services. Many day-to-day processes in the manufacturing industry require the use of air compressors that can generate an intermittent or continuous source of pressurized air. Designing, manufacturing and operation of compressor equipment, predetermines a community that includes technical and software tools, as well as personnel that are interconnected within a single system through information, energy and material flows. Carriet out is the analysis of existing approaches to the construction of manufacturing business processes models taking into account functionally oriented control. These processes shall be managed by the organization in accordance with the requirements. The basic principles of process modeling are determined. The method of decision making in the hierarchical structures of the system of enterprise processes is proposed. The results of the theoretical research can be used in the implementation of management systems based on international ISO standards and the description of processes by organizations. The paper highlights the problems of modelling the complex logistics manufacturing system which is to meet the needs of the contemporary lean approach to manufacturing. It is assumed that the system consists of identically arranged and equipped subsystems, however, each of them is characterised by different operating and fixed costs. The software engineering method used to create the simulator of the discussed system is emphasised to show how the necessary assumptions turn the real manufacturing system into the mathematical model of the logistic-business system, and subsequently into the simulator. Manufacturing strategies as well as heuristic algorithms are introduced in order to control making the order. The case study presents the method of searching for the most adequate manufacturing subsystem for making the order on the basis of cost calculation. Abstract Business process validation is a way to say if a process is consistent, in a specific term, but with a scientific prove. Real-time business processes validation (RT-BPV) method has as goal ensuring quality in term of time i.e. time latency ∼ 0. We are interested about real-time enterprises (RTE). Our studies consist of building a real-time system by proposing a method that allows decision-makers to have an idea about the temporal behavior of a process during its execution and even to have a preliminary decision to react quickly and find the appropriate solutions. We had also apply our research results on a medicine domain data, about retirement home, which is interested about the safety of its patients and it improves its services continuously to respond quickly and properly to their needs. Business processes in manufacturing and logistics are becoming more complex and change more frequently at the same time. These changes are driven by process evolution and unexpected changes. Therefore, business process documentations need continual updates. Recent works in process mining highlight the relevance of context information during automated process model creation. Our objective is to discover situational context information that affects the execution of a business process by determining the process lead time. Nave Bayesian is used for context reasoning to uncover and analyze the relationship between a particular process and its context information. We propose Constraint Synthesis with C4.5 ( CSC4.5 ), a novel method for automated construction of constraints for Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) models from data. Given a sample of feasible states of a modeled entity, e.g., a business process or a system, CSC4.5 synthesizes a well-formed MILP model of that entity, suitable for simulation and optimization using an off-the-shelf solver. CSC4.5 operates by estimating the distribution of the feasible states, bounding that distribution with C4.5 decision tree and transforming that tree into a MILP model. We verify CSC4.5 experimentally using parameterized synthetic benchmarks, and conclude considerable fidelity of the synthesized constraints to the actual constraints in the benchmarks. Next, we apply CSC4.5 to synthesize from past observations two MILP models of a real-world business process of wine production, optimize the MILP models using an external solver and validate the optimal solutions with use of a competing modeling method. The continuous companies' need to find and apply methods of processes improvement in a business services center has generated research aiming at modeling information systems managing knowledge acquired during the offer/supply process. In this paper we proposed a methodological framework for capturing the main elements of a domain ontology describing and documenting the supply process in an outsourcing industry's company. Based on it, a specific ontology for each type of business services center (BPO, SSC, ITO) could be developed. Also, the framework offers a dynamic-adaptable basic structure of knowledge to the rapid changes occurring in the industry.
