The ability to publish research papers is a must for scientists nowadays. Ideally, at the very beginning of their career, young researchers, PhD students, should be instructed in writing research papers and should get feedback on their texts. In this study, the first manuscripts from 22 doctoral students, non-native English speakers, 223 pages were analysed for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style. For each type of error and each student, the average per page was calculated. The most frequent errors were identified in using articles, formal features, missing information, and the use of inappropriate words. Individual students showed significantly different levels, which reflected their previous language training and the approach (responsibility) to completing the task. The role of long-term parenteral support in patients with underlying benign conditions who do not have intestinal failure (IF) is contentious, not least since there are clear benefits in utilising the oral or enteral route for nutritional support. Furthermore, the risks of long-term home parenteral nutrition (HPN) are significant, with significant impacts on morbidity and mortality. There has, however, been a recent upsurge of the use of HPN in patients with conditions such as gastro-intestinal neuromuscular disorders, opioid bowel dysfunction, disorders of gut–brain interaction and possibly eating disorders, who do not have IF. As a result, the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN), the European Society of Neuro-gastroenterology and Motility (ESNM) and the Rome Foundation for Disorders of Gut Brain Interaction felt that a position statement is required to clarify - and hopefully reduce the potential for harm associated with – the use of long-term parenteral support in patients without IF. Consensus opinion is that HPN should not be prescribed for patients without IF, where the oral and/or enteral route can be utilised. On the rare occasions that PN commencement is required to treat life-threatening malnutrition in conditions such as those listed above, it should only be prescribed for a time-limited period to achieve nutritional safety, while the wider multi-disciplinary team focus on more appropriate biopsychosocial holistic and rehabilitative approaches to manage the patient's primary underlying condition. In 1980, Prof. Bimla Buti derived, for the first time, an exact solution for localized nonlinear ion-acoustic waves in a plasma with two electron components. Her theory predicted that in the presence of a second electron component, ion-acoustic holes (i.e., solitons with density dips) can exist in addition to regular ion-acoustic solitons having density humps. In 1982, Temerin, et al. [1] reported the observations of ion holes in the Earth's auroral acceleration region between 6000 and 8000 km altitude by S3-3 spacecraft, thus confirming the theoretical predictions of Buti's model. Later on, ion holes were observed on auroral field lines by the Viking spacecraft [2,3] and the Polar spacecraft [4]. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of highly cited papers in geosciences from 2013 to 2023, examining the temporal distribution of publications, the top 20 most cited papers, categorization by Web of Science categories (WC), journal distribution, and the relationship between open access and citation frequency. The analysis reveals significant growth in geoscientific research, particularly from 2016 onwards. Highly cited papers cover diverse and multidisciplinary topics, with leading journals identified as key dissemination platforms. The study also highlights the positive impact of open access on citation rates, emphasizing the importance of accessibility in enhancing research visibility and influence. Background: In previous decades, large-scale research has been carried out on bacterial meningitis. In every field, citation analysis is the most significant contribution. The study's objective was to identify and analyze the 100 articles on bacterial meningitis that received the most citations between 2000 and 2023, highlighting the most significant developments in the field. Objective: The objective of this study was to find out what makes a highly influential article by identifying and analyzing the characteristics of the 100 articles in the field of bacterial meningitis that receive the most citations. The goal of this study was to find and examine the 100 articles on bacterial meningitis that received the most citations. Methodology: We identified the top 100 most-cited papers in the field of bacterial meningitis from 55 journals using the Dimensions AI database. The results of each author's analysis of 100 articles were then compared. We gathered fundamental data such as the journal's title, country of publication, and study type. Descriptive counts or percentages were used to compare the various categories. Results: Between the year 2000 and the year 2023, articles were published. The total number of citations ranged from 115 to 1176, with 42 papers receiving more than 200 citations. In 2008, 14 articles were published, followed by 10 in 2000 and 2007. One thousand one hundred and seventy-six times were given to the most-cited paper, whereas 115 times were given to the least-cited article. "Clinical Features and Prognostic Factors in Adults with Bacterial Meningitis," by Diederik van de Beek, et al. (2004) was the article that received the most citations. 1176 people have cited this article. van de Beek Diederik of the Academic Medical Center in The Netherlands is the author who has written the most articles, was mentioned in 14 of the top 100 articles. Papers were primarily published in Pediatrics (n = 9) publication with 1861 citations. The Netherlands came in second with 18 publications, followed by the United States (n = 46). Conclusion: Our study uses bibliometrics and visualization analysis of the most important articles in this field to show the current state of research in the area of bacterial meningitis, provide a history of research trends, and offer a perspective for future bacterial predicts the growth of meningitis. Paper mulching films are affected by wind and rain in the field, which lead to the problems of water absorption, shrinkage, and friction with the soil surface. In order to achieve better hydrophobic durability and wear resistance of paper mulching films, a paper mulching film with ZnO/SiO 2 composite coating was prepared by the brush coating method. Taking ceramic balls as friction pairs, reciprocating friction tests were carried out with two kinds of paper mulching films at different temperatures. The morphology of the raw paper mulch film and the ZnO/SiO 2 composite-coated paper mulch film after rubbing at different temperatures and the reason of the hydrophobic durability of the coated paper mulch film were analyzed using a scanning electron microscope and a three-dimensional topography instrument. The results show that ZnO/SiO 2 composite coating can improve the wear resistance and hydrophobic durability of the paper mulch film. Through surface morphology analysis, it can be found that the composite coating plays a role in modification and filling and improves the adhesion between the fibers by reducing the pores on the surface of the paper mulch film, finally improving the wear resistance and hydrophobic durability of the paper mulch film. With the sharp increase in the volume of literature data, researchers must spend considerable time and energy locating desired papers. A paper recommendation is the means necessary to solve this problem. Unfortunately, the large amount of data combined with sparsity makes personalizing papers challenging. Traditional matrix decomposition models have cold-start issues. Most overlook the importance of information and fail to consider the introduction of noise when using side information, resulting in unsatisfactory recommendations. This study proposes a paper recommendation method (PR-SLSMF) using document-level representation learning with citation-informed transformers (SPECTER) and low-rank and sparse matrix factorization; it uses SPECTER to learn paper content representation. The model calculates the similarity between papers and constructs a weighted heterogeneous information network (HIN), including citation and content similarity information. This method combines the LSMF method with HIN, effectively alleviating data sparsity and cold-start issues and avoiding topic drift.
