A bibliometric analysis was performed on a total of 1319 articles and reviews on rice and irrigation from the ‘Agronomy’ category based on the Web of Science (WoS) during the period 1965–2018. The results showed that the number of publications had grown rapidly over the past years, and English was the dominating language (96.437%). The top five most productive authors were E. Humphreys (Philippines), B. A. M. Bouman (Philippines), S. Fukai (Australia), J. Z. Xu (China) and A. Kumar (India). There were 98 core journals involved in publication; Agricultural Water Management was the most productive journal with 273 articles (20.697%), followed by Field Crops Research (176; 13.343%) and Paddy and Water Environment (162; 12.282%), each with more than 150 papers. India was the most productive country with 313 articles (23.73%), followed by China (218, 16.53%), USA (163, 12.36%), Philippines (154, 11.68%), Japan (152, 11.52%) and Australia (121, 9.17%). Among the institutions working on rice and irrigation, the top 3 were International Rice Research Institute, Philippines, Punjab Agricultural University, Pakistan and Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. Background: Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) have been the global health problems that cause a substantial burden for the patients and the society. Assessing the Quality of Life (QOL) of CVD patients is critical in the effectiveness evaluation of CVD treatments as well as in determining potential areas for enhancing health outcomes. Through the adoption of a combination of bibliometric approach and content analysis, publications trend and the common topics regarding interventions to improve QOL of CVD patients were searched and characterized to inform priority setting and policy development.Methods: Bibliographic data of publications published from 1990 to 2018 on interventions to improve QOL of CVD patients were retrieved from Web of Science. Network graphs illustrating the terms co-occurrence clusters were created by VOSviewer software. Latent Dirichlet Allocation approach was adopted to classify papers into major research topics.Results: A total of 6457 papers was analyzed. We found a substantial increase in the number of publications, citations, and the number of download times of papers in the last 5 years. There has been a rise in the number of papers related to intervention to increase quality of life among patients with CVD during 1990-2018. Conventional therapies (surgery and medication), and psychological, behavioral interventions were common research topics. Meanwhile, the number of papers evaluating economic effectiveness has not been as high as that of other topics.Conclusions: The research areas among the scientific studies emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral approaches in both evaluation and intervention. This paper presents the evolvement of a hybrid framework for the analysis of societal impact of research, based on combining the theory of productive interactions with bibliometric data. This paper presents the next step in the development of the hybrid framework, after we have analyzed the social impact of scientific results as recognized in expert evaluation reports, in the second phase, presented in this paper, we have linked this data with bibliographic data obtained by harvesting the public bibliographic database Croatian scientific bibliography (CROSBI). This second phase of research presents the societally relevant output from public research institutions and faculties on public universities in Croatia in the field of biomedicine for the period from 2013 to 2017. The study has found evidence of measuring societal impact of scientific work using the theory of productive interactions on bibliometrics data in the biomedicine field, thereby contributing to the development of more robust understandings of measuring societal impact in science. Rationale: The regular consumption of very small doses of psychedelic drugs (known as microdosing) has been a source of growing media and community attention in recent years. However, there is currently limited clinical and social research evidence on the potential role of microdosing as therapies for mental and substance use disorders. Objectives: This paper examined subjective experiences of microdosing psychedelics to improve mental health or to cease or reduce substance use, and examined sociodemographic and other covariates of perceived improvements in mental health that individuals attributed to microdosing. Methods: An international online survey was conducted in 2018 and examined people's experiences of using psychedelics for self-reported therapeutic or enhancement purposes. This paper focuses on 1102 respondents who reported current or past experience of psychedelic microdosing. Results: Twenty-one percent of respondents reported primarily microdosing as a therapy for depression, 7% for anxiety, 9% for other mental disorders and 2% for substance use cessation or reduction. Forty-four percent of respondents perceived that their mental health was "much better" as a consequence of microdosing. In a multivariate analysis, perceived improvements in mental health from microdosing were associated with a range of variables including gender, education, microdosing duration and motivations, and recent use of larger psychedelic doses. Conclusions: Given the promising findings of clinical trials of standard psychedelic doses as mental health therapies, clinical microdosing research is needed to determine its potential role in psychiatric treatment, and ongoing social research to better understand the use of microdosing as self-managed mental health and substance use therapies. Objectives: Despite the rising risk factor exposure and non-communicable disease (NCD) mortality across the Middle East and the North African (MENA) region, public health policy responses have been slow and appear discordant with the social, economic and political circumstances in each country. Good health policy and outcomes are intimately linked to a research-active culture, particularly in NCD. In this study we present the results of a comprehensive analysis of NCD research with particular a focus on cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease in 10 key countries that represent a spectrum across MENA between 1991 and 2018. Methods: The study uses a well validated bibliometric approach to undertake a quantitative analysis of research output in the ten leading countries in biomedical research in the MENA region on the basis of articles and reviews in the Web of Science database. We used filters for each of the three NCDs and biomedical research to identify relevant papers in the WoS. The countries selected for the analyses were based on the volume of research outputs during the period of analysis and stability, included Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. Results: A total of 495,108 biomedical papers were found in 12,341 journals for the ten MENA countries (here we consider Turkey in the context of MENA). For all three NCDs, Turkey's output is consistently the highest. Iran has had considerable growth in research output to occupy second place across all three NCDs. It appears that, relative to their wealth (measured by GDP), some MENA countries, particularly Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, are substantially under-investing in biomedical research. In terms of investment on particular NCDs, we note the relatively greater commitment on cancer research compared with diabetes or cardiovascular disease in most MENA countries, despite cardiovascular disease causing the greatest health-related burden. When considering the citation impact of research outputs, there have been marked rises in citation scores in Qatar, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates and Oman. However, Turkey, which has the largest biomedical research output in the Middle East has the lowest citation scores overall. The level of intra-regional collaboration in NCD research is highly variable. Saudi Arabia and Egypt are the dominant research collaborators across the MENA region. However, Turkey and Iran, which are amongst the leading research-active countries in the area, show little evidence of collaboration. With respect to international collaboration, the United States and United Kingdom are the dominant research partners across the region followed by Germany and France. Conclusion: The increase in research activity in NCDs across the MENA region countries during the time period of analysis may signal both an increasing focus on NCDs which reflects general global trends, and greater investment in research in some countries. However, there are several risks to the sustainability of these improvements that have been identified in particular countries within the region. For example, a lack of suitably trained researchers, low political commitment and poor financial support, and minimal international collaboration which is essential for wider global impact. Objective: The objective of the current study was to identify the 100 top-cited studies in cancer immunotherapy. Materials and methods: A retrospective bibliometric analysis was performed in March 2019. Studies were searched on the Web of Science to identify the 100 top-cited studies in cancer immunotherapy. Studies were identified and analysed for authorship, journal, study type, year of publication and institution. Results: The 100 top-cited papers were cited from 591 to 5332 times and were published between 1986 and 2016. They were published in 27 journals, and New England Journal of Medicine published most of the studies (n = 14), followed by Nature (n = 11) and Journal of Clinical Oncology (n = 10). They were published from 10 countries, and the USA published most of the studies (n = 82), followed by France (n = 5) and Netherlands (n = 3). National Cancer Institute in USA was the leading institution and Rosenberg, SA was the most productive author. Conclusions: This study provides insights into development and most important papers in cancer immunotherapy and will provide evidence for future research in cancer immunotherapy. Research on climate change mitigation and adaptation is pressing in order to understand its implications and risks in different urban areas. It is especially critical for those who face high degrees of urban inequality in the context of an uneven state presence. This paper is an explorative and investigative study which uses Cairo as a case. The focus of the study is on mapping state and private sector efforts in mitigating climate change issues, specifically for vulnerable groups who have limited access to public services. The study adopted an investigative approach where a literature search and bibliometric mapping were used to identify the gap in knowledge in the field of architecture and urban climate change mitigation and adaptation, followed by a field survey which included conducting interviews and questionnaires with different stakeholders from the public and private sector to investigate the link between the efforts for climate change mitigation. The explorative part of the study concluded that there is a huge knowledge gap in the Middle East and in Egypt when it comes to research efforts related to climate change with a focus on the built environment. The results of the investigative part of this study revealed that—apart from already limited efforts on ground—there is no synchronization in efforts between the public and private sector. Climate change issues are still not a priority when poverty, economy, and health are still a prime concern and take precedence over climate change. There is uneven presence of public efforts for climate change adaptation and mitigation. Female under-representation continues in senior roles within academic medicine, potentially influenced by a perception that female research has less citation impact. This article provides systematic evidence of (a) female participation rates from the perspective of published journal articles in 46 Scopus medical subject categories 1996–2018 and (b) gender differences in citation rates 1996–2014. The results show female proportion increases 1996–2018 in all fields and a female majority of first-authored articles in two-fifths of categories, but substantial differences between fields. A paper is 7.3 times more likely to have a female first author in Obstetrics and Gynaecology than in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Only three fields had a female last author majority by 2018, a probable side effect of ongoing problems with appointing female leaders. Female first-authored research tended to be more cited than male first-authored research in most fields (59%), although with a maximum difference of only 5.1% (log-transformed normalised citations). In contrast, male last-authored research tends to be more cited than female last-authored research, perhaps due to cases where a senior male has attracted substantial funding for a project. These differences increase if team sizes are not accounted for in the calculations. Since female first-authored research is cited slightly more than male first-authored research, properly analysed bibliometric data considering career gaps should not disadvantage female candidates for senior roles. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, understanding its impacts on cities has received much attention in science and policy circles. This paper systematically reviews the literature on the interface of the pandemic and urban sustainability. The objective is to portray the impacts brought by the COVID-19 outbreak in urban environments within the sustainability framework and to detect trends and challenges for future research. The paper follows a methodology that integrates both bibliometric and systematic review approaches. The first approach relies on bibliometric analysis to provide an overview of the landscape of main trends on this nexus. The second approach presents a content analysis that deepens the work by outlining the impacts of the pandemic and the challenges that emerged on five different key topics for urban sustainability. The role of resilient urban planning is discussed as an integrative concept to face diverse challenges in the construction of sustainable cities in a post-pandemic scenario. Likewise, the study deliberates on future research topics related to resilient urban planning, social equity, healthy urban environments, sustainable mobility, and circular economy. The objective of this paper is to systematically review remote sensing data fusion techniques, autonomous vehicle driving perception algorithms, and mobility simulation tools in smart transportation systems. The findings and analyses highlight that visual perception algorithms, sensing and computing technologies, and route planning and control tools configure networked digital infrastructures. At the end of the twentieth century, increased access to certain technologies and processes, such as 3D scanning, computer-aided design, rapid fabrication and microcircuitry, enabled consumers to become creators of material design. These activities, which collectively came to be known as making, extended across both public and private sectors, including the study of the book. This paper offers an extended discourse on the full range of activities comprising the bibliographical maker movement, which in recent years has coalesced around the idea that maker culture may be employed to enhance our understanding of not only the history but also the future of the book. The application of these new technologies toward critical book studies has proceeded from the practice-based approach to research and instruction first begun under the auspices of the bibliographical press movement in the mid-twentieth century. In keeping with this earlier work, biblio-making is predicated upon the idea that certain kinds of knowledge are best gained through personal experience and experimentation. This article will first outline the benefits of applying 3D technologies to the goals of book history before locating and describing the activities of participating individuals and institutions within three broad categories: holistic, 3D digitisation; recovering historical tools and processes; and creative experiments in book design. As the article demonstrates, the strength and potential of the bibliographical maker movement lies in its widening community of practice and that, by virtue of its being an open-access network of constituents, it is now poised to make a significant and lasting contribution to the study of the book. Based on an in-depth survey of the literature, the purpose of the paper is to explore remote patient monitoring systems, wearable Internet of Medical Things sensor devices, and deep learning-based computer vision algorithms in COVID-19 screening, detection, diagnosis, and treatment. In this research, previous findings were cumulated showing that preventive and predictive maintenance of medical connected objects in remote patient monitoring can integrate processed and analyzed health sensor data, and I contribute to the literature by indicating that wearable medical sensor devices can identify real-time changes of patient vital physiological parameters through Internet of Medical Things data sharing. Throughout January 2022, a quantitative literature review of the Web of Science, Scopus, and ProQuest databases was performed, with search terms including “COVID-19” + “remote patient monitoring systems,” “wearable Internet of Medical Things sensor devices,” and “deep learning-based computer vision algorithms.” As research published between 2019 and 2022 was inspected, only 165 articles satisfied the eligibility criteria. Histories of bibliotherapy often emphasize the importance of the First World War in stimulating the development of bibliotherapeutic theory and practice. The word itself was used in a 1916 article by the American author Samuel McChord Crothers, while histories of bibliotherapy in the United Kingdom often foreground H. F. Brett-Smith's so-called "fever chart" of therapeutic books for treating shell-shocked soldiers. Despite this, however, we argue that a full account of wartime bibliotherapy (particularly the importance of British hospital libraries in its development) has yet to be told. This article draws on the papers of British military hospital personnel to describe the range of "literary caregiving" supporting the treatment of sick and wounded soldiers during the conflict. It traces the social and professional networks underlying these schemes. Finally, it shows how British volunteer librarians helped develop a specifically medicalized language of caregiving through books, thereby contributing to the early development of bibliotherapy. Bibliotherapy booklist refers to the guide bibliography carefully compiled by professionals who have mastered "reading therapy" in order to relieve and even heal the emotional distress of target readers. This paper reviews five kinds of books of Chinese and foreign bibliotherapy booklist that are suitable for reading promotion activities in university libraries, analyzes the case of the course "bibliotherapy and aesthetic introduction to literary and artistic masterpieces" of Graduate School of Nanjing University in 2020, and puts forward suggestions on how professional librarians of university libraries can use Chinese and foreign books to carry out the reading guidance service of bibliotherapy, and how college students with emotional healing needs, choose the necessary reading materials in order to self-healing. Purpose: Novels and autopathographies that employ cancer as a central theme offer a wealth of opportunities for researching the way patients with cancer make sense of their illness and its treatment. Such literatures can also inform clinical care, because they can support patients in living with their illness. The use of novels and autopathographies for research and care in persons with cancer fits within the framework of 'Health Humanities', the interdisciplinary field where medicine and social science meet. This paper presents a concise overview of novels and autopathographies that explore cancer as their theme. Methods: Literature searches were conducted using PubMed, major scientific journals of medicine and clinical oncology, and databases in the Health Humanities. Searches focused on novels and autopathographies where cancer is the central theme, which are available in English, and which can be considered to represent 'high literature'. Results: Twenty-nine books were identified. The majority of the books were written originally in English, and breast cancer and lung cancer were the most frequently discussed types of cancer. The core themes identified were giving meaning to illness; coping with medical treatment; and the psychological and social consequences of illness. Conclusion: Novels and autopathographies about cancer represent an innovative base for research on living with cancer and offer rich data on how people make sense of cancer and its medical treatment. Clinical implications of this review pertain to interventions based on bibliotherapy and expressive writing. Novels and autopathographies are just part of the Health Humanities context: a wide range of art genres may prove helpful in improving the quality of life of persons with cancer. The authors of this paper review the efficacy of poetry therapy and introduce a curriculum to be used in the provision of a co-facilitative poetry therapy group process which involves a professional poet and a therapist. Drawing upon best practices of poetry therapy, the paper demonstrates that this innovative approach not only contributes to the field but is transferable among a variety of client populations. Purpose: This paper aims to identify patterns and trends taking place in engineering education in sustainability, through analyzing the evolution of research conducted in relevant publications in the field of engineering education for sustainability in the past decades. Design/methodology/approach: First, a bibliometric approach has been applied, adopting a co-word analysis based on co-occurrence of the keywords (300 items) in articles from three indexed journals related to engineering, education or sustainability. The selection of the articles has been based on the appearance of the previous three terms in the topic and title fields of the journal, where journal scope (based in the categories of the InCites Journal Citation Reports) covered at least two topics, and the third topic was applied in the search, as follows: International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education – Scope of the journal: sustainability and education, Keyword search: engineering (20 papers); Journal of Cleaner Production – Scope of the journal: sustainability and engineering, Keyword search: education (122 papers); International Journal of Engineering Education – Scope of the journal: engineering and education, Keyword search: sustainability (29 papers); Second, to identify topological patterns and their evolution, a structural and temporal analysis of the network of keywords and a categorization of the keywords in thematic clusters (named categories) have been performed. Findings: The most relevant categories in terms of corresponding number of keywords, even though these have decreased in recent years, are those related with institutional and policy aspects to embedding or applying sustainability in higher education. At the same time, categories related to the professional development of faculty members, implementation and use of learning strategies (i.e. real-world learning experiences, educational innovative initiatives/tools/techniques) and cross-boundary schemes (i.e. transdisciplinarity, ethics, networking, etc.) increase their relevance in the past five years, signaling some of the challenging fields of interest in engineering higher education in sustainability in the near future. Practical implications: Knowledge of the trends in devising sustainability education in engineering allows for designing curricular schemes and learning strategies to achieve competences, which are key factors for the change toward sustainability. Originality/value: This research has a strong strategic value, as it indicates the focus of future research efforts and networking on some of the topics of greatest concern in engineering higher education for sustainability. This paper discusses how the Open Science has constituted a new approach to the scientific knowledge generation process, based on the collaborative form that scientific production is being created and outreach. Traditional research outcomes such as papers, dissertations and theses, although available in open access, can be compared to a black box, under the Actor-Network Theory (ANT) perspective, since they are considered the final and closed result of a determined researcher's or a research group's analysis. This paper, mainly bibliographic, uses bibliographical and bibliometric research as methods of data treatment, followed by a systematic review of the literature. The aim is to highlight how the research data availability has agency within the science process and the scholarly communication. To this end, some of ANT's concepts are used to identify the role of research data within the network, built of human and nonhuman elements together. This survey was part of a study whose purpose was to analyze the theory that defines the field Science, Technology, and Society (CTS). The survey provided an overview of the development of the Program itself, related to the scientific production of its professors and students, contributing to advances in the scientific and interdisciplinary field. The survey about the scientific publications developed in the Graduate Program in Science, Technology and Society of the Federal University of São Carlos was based on bibliometric analysis of the main terms present in the titles and keywords of publications, such as scientific papers, thesis, dissertations and book chapters of professors and students of the program. By using tables, graphs and word clouds, the main terms pointed out by the doctoral students from the 2018 class were represented, as well as the number of publications per year, since the beginning of the Program (2008 - 2016), and the diversity of themes in which the study is inserted, which allowed an analysis of the profile of the research performed so far. It was concluded that there has been a significant increase in Program's publications with respect to scientific papers published in the most diverse journals. Regarding book chapters, there has been a decrease in publications, probably due to the Program's incentive for researchers to publish papers in high-impact scientific journals. The study also showed a higher number of female than male students, and an equivalent number of men and women among adiviser in the Program. The main terms found in this survey are "scientific communication", in thesis and dissertations, "competitive intelligence", in book chapters, and "memory", in papers published in journals. Purpose. Book treatment or bibliotherapy is most commonly associated with the psychiatric field, where it is performed as an auxiliary and creative therapeutic method. The aim of this paper is to consider how meaningful it is to have bibliotherapy in a library as one of the institutions where it is implemented as a preventative method and carried out on healthy population. There is also the question of the possibility of its implementation in university libraries that are often unfairly neglected on this matter in Croatia. Approach. The paper considers different types of bibliotherapy, emphasizing the developmental bibliotherapy as a form that could and should be implemented in libraries. The role of librarians in the implementation of bibliotherapy, freedom of action and competence is being problematized. The results of the research conducted outside of Croatia, presented in this paper, indicate the degree of importance of its implementation in university libraries among the student population. The paper is based on the method of analysing and reviewing the existing knowledge and literature and their synthesis in the new text. Results. It is believed that by introducing bibliotherapy in libraries they are gaining one more, socially useful role, which should not be carried out solely in school and public libraries, but also in university libraries, which, addressing students as a particularly vulnerable group of young people, can give their own contribution to this area. Purpose In the context of increasing interdisciplinarity in academia and professional practice, the purpose of this paper is to focus on the contribution of information science (IS) to education and practice in social work (SW), specifically in the area of disabilities at the workplace. As a case in point, a work environment of academia and faculty members with disabilities and their managers are chosen. The paper also stands to improve interdisciplinary understanding between IS and SW.Design/methodology/approach Combining SW and IS perspectives and building off selective exposure, cognitive dissonance and uncertainty management theories, the paper looks at one of the root-causes of continuous workplace discrimination against and bullying of people with disabilities – information avoidance (IA).Findings The paper conceptualises discrimination and bullying as an inherently information problem, for which an SW solution could be proposed. Two types of information are noted to be avoided: information about disabilities and information about the effect of discrimination and bullying on employees with disabilities. The paper distinguishes between defensive and deliberate IA, each of which poses different challenges for social workers who are likely to intervene in the cases of bullying and discrimination in their capacity as workplace counsellors and advisors.Originality/value It is the first known paper that explores the intellectual and practice-based synergy between SW and IS in application to change-related interventions and preventative plans that counteract discrimination against people with disabilities at the workplace. This paper examines the "problem of emotions" in a person as an organizational entity. It also analyzes and contributes the constructs of Emotional Intelligence (EI), Emotional Capital (EC), Relational Capital (RC) and Intellectual Capital (IC) based on the application of the TECER scale. The TECER scale (Test of Emotional Capital and Relational Capital) was designed and applied to a sample of 892 graduates and university students, collecting cognitive, emotional and relational information. The operational models ICom2 (Intellectual Capital Model) and EIom2 (Emotional Intelligence Model) were formulated for the treatment IC and EI as well, and through a process of hypothesis contrast a set of hypotheses was validated, considering as the basis of the research the contributions obtained from the literature review and from a bibliometric and altmetric analysis. Finally, multivariate analysis techniques were applied to formulate cluster models, multidimensional scaling, principal components and discriminant analysis, which allowed improving the operational models and proposing recommendations for the improvement of the constructs. This paper examines the outcomes of a bibliometric analysis of open access (OA) and non-open access (non-OA) publications from the accounting departments of the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and Auburn University. The research illustrates the extent of the faculties' OA and non-OA publications and their relative scholarly impact and metrics from 2013 to 2018. OA articles have continued to increase in volume gradually in all three academic institutions. The findings suggest that professors of accounting are slowly embracing OA articles, and bibliometric data may strengthen strategic initiatives for librarians to assist faculties and university libraries with collective decision-making processes. Purpose: This article aims to provide a bibliometric and systematic literature analysis of studies published in the Journal of Intellectual Capital (JIC) from 2014 to 2018 in order to highlight emerging themes and future trends. Design/methodology/approach: The analysis focused on 187 papers published on JIC over a period of five years. A scientometric approach to data mining enabled the detection of patterns in the dataset. Precisely, the investigation was conducted by integrating a bibliometric analysis on VOSviewer with a systematic literature review. Findings: Four main streams of research on JIC emerged in the years of the analysis: reporting and disclosure of intellectual capital; intellectual capital research in universities, education and public sector; knowledge management; intellectual capital, financial performance, and market value. Research limitations/implications: The study offers valid insights to the topics covered by the Journal of Intellectual Capital by identifying the main research gaps and trends, along with future research avenues. Originality/value: Prior scholars mostly focused on systematic literature reviews, whilst the use of bibliometric methods generally seems to be a missing tile in the research domain. The purpose of this study is to examine the educational researches published about social media from a bibliometric perspective. The study used the case study design, which is a qualitative research design. The keyword "Social Media" was searched in research topics in the Web of Science (WoS) database. "Document title", "abstract" and "keyword" were chosen as search criteria. Studies published between 2007 and 2021 were included in the analysis. The bibliometric data of 3861 academic studies contained in WoS educational researchs category constitute the data set of the study. The study found that educational researches on social media especially as of 2008 and this trend continued in the following years. The most frequent languages of publication in the field of social media in education are English, Spanish and Portuguese, respectively, and the most frequent types of academic research are articles, papers, and book chapters. Michigan State University, Florida State University System and University of North Carolina are the affiliations with the highest number of publishing researchers. In Turkey, Anadolu University is the affiliation with the biggest number of authors publishing research about social media in education. The USA, England and Australia are the three countries where studies about social media in education are published the most, respectively. The number of citations of academic studies published after 2010 is increasing every passing year. Society has become increasingly socially and environmentally conscious owing to global environmental challenges, and COVID-19 has become an eye-opener. Although people have started developing a significant understanding of sustainable consumption, much work remains to be done in this field. Our study recapitulates the research that has been published in the area of sustainable marketing and sustainable consumer behavior over the last three decades. We conducted a hybrid literature review using bibliometric analysis combined with TCM (Theory-Context-Methodology) framework-based approach on a total of 1998 relevant papers published from 1991 to 2021. Our findings validate that the literature in this field has been on the rise, particularly since 2016. The subject area with the highest number of publications was Business & Economics (803). The USA is the major contributor, with (444) publications, followed by England (219) and China (416). The study also classifies the status of the extant literature, notable research gaps, and future research directions following a theoretical framework, empirical methods, and contextual phenomena. The study provides valuable insights into filling the "green attitude-behavior gap". Given the growing tendency among consumers to go sustainable, this study offers practitioners a new perspective on the much-needed changes in the marketing strategy of companies selling sustainable products. Background: Conflicts of interest in biomedical research can influence research results and drive research agendas away from public health priorities. Previous agenda-setting studies share two shortfalls: they only account for direct connections between academic institutions and firms, as well as potential bias based on researchers' personal beliefs. This paper's goal is to determine the key actors and contents of the prevailing health and biomedical sciences (HBMS) research agenda, overcoming these shortfalls. Methods: We performed a bibliometric and lexical analysis of 95,415 scientific articles published between 1999 and 2018 in the highest impact factor journals within HBMS, using the Web of Science database and the CorText platform. HBMS's prevailing knowledge network of institutions was proxied with network maps where nodes represent affiliations and edges the most frequent co-authorships. The content of the prevailing HBMS research agenda was depicted through network maps of prevalent multi-terms found in titles, keywords, and abstracts. Results: The HBMS research agendas of large private firms and leading academic institutions are intertwined. The prevailing HBMS agenda is mostly based on molecular biology (40% of the most frequent multi-terms), with an inclination towards cancer and cardiovascular research (15 and 8% of the most frequent multi-terms, respectively). Studies on pathogens and biological vectors related to recent epidemics are marginal (1% of the most frequent multi-terms). Content of the prevailing HBMS research agenda prioritizes research on pharmacological intervention over research on socio-environmental factors influencing disease onset or progression and overlooks, among others, the study of infectious diseases. Conclusions: Pharmaceutical corporations contribute to set HBMS's prevailing research agenda, which is mainly focused on a few diseases and research topics. A more balanced research agenda, together with epistemological approaches that consider socio-environmental factors associated with disease spreading, could contribute to being better prepared to prevent and treat more diverse pathologies and to improve overall health outcomes. The paper presents the results of empirical study of parents' attitudes towards their children with special educational needs. The following methods have been used: PARI method (E. Schaefer, R. Bell; adaptation by T. Nescheret), test-questionnaire of parental attitude of A. Varga and V. Stolin; questionnaire 'Analysis of family myth' by A. Nesterova. To clarify and deepen the analysis of research data, two samples of selected participants have been created: a) parents of children with special educational needs and b) parents of children without special educational needs. Two Google forms have been made with appropriate introductory questionnaires and research instructions. The analysis of the results obtained by the methods has revealed the following tendencies in the attitude of parents of children with special educational needs, in comparison with parents of other children: lower level of acceptance; greater concentration on the child and his/her control; a kind of inconsistency in the attitude to their children (simultaneous optimal emotional contact and excessive emotional distance); a sense of self-sacrifice and belief in its necessity. It has been proved, that the usage of different types and forms of art therapy (music, dance-movement, bibliotherapy, fairy tale therapy, phototherapy, film therapy, fine art therapy) helps to correct parents' attitude to their children with special educational needs. Purpose. The purpose of this paper is to present how developmental bibliotherapy can be applied in the children and youth departments in public libraries. Approach: The use of developmental bibliotherapy contributes to the development of emotional and social competencies in children and young adults, and is often practiced by children librarians as a part of different library programmes in modern libraries. This paper is the result of many years of experience of the authors, and it is structured using the method of text analysis and comparison. Results: It is important to provide certain preconditions for the successful implementation of a bibliotherapeutic process, such as successful communication with children, good group coherence, understanding of group dynamic, and the selection of appropriate reading materials. The results show the need for developing a number of competencies in the librarians working with children and young adults. Chitosan has attracted increasing attention from researchers in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields as a potential agent for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. However, identifying the development of emerging technologies related to this biopolymer is difficult, especially for newcomers trying to understand the research streams. In this work, we designed and implemented a research process based on a bibliometric predictive intelligence model. Our aim is to glean detailed scientific and technological trends through an analysis of publications that include certain word phrases and related research areas. Cross correlation, factor mapping, and the calculation of "emergent" scores were also used. A total of 1,612 scientific papers on chitosan technology related to viral disease treatment published between 2010 and 2020 were retrieved from the Web of Science. Results from the keyword modelling quantitatively highlight three major frontier research and development topic groups: drug delivery and adjuvants, vaccines and immune response, and tissue engineering. More specifically, the emergent scores show that much of the chitosan-based treatment for viral diseases is in the in vitro stage of development. Most chitosan applications are in pharmacology/pharmacy and immunology. Based on the weak or null correlation amongst the indicators above discussed, I have developed some bimedian graphs that can help to discriminate high shared authorship and high self-citation ratio as the worse position in the bibliometric space of the scientific careers of academic ASPA members. Conclusions The ASPA community exhibits a good scientific performance with high values of the main bibliometric indicators, obviously greater for the older compared to the younger scientists, with a limited number of co-authors per paper and a low degree of self-citations. The paper discusses the social functions and practical characteristics of the bibliotherapy in emergency service and explores effective approaches of the service, thus reveals the significance of bibliotherapy to ensure the social healing function in emergencies. It conducts empirical research based on case study of "The Reader in Fang Cang" as an approach of library to fighting the epidemic by exploring the patterns of reading therapy in dealing with emergencies from two aspects which are embedded and diffused. The academic library has always provided electronic access to the majority of its available services to its patrons. Reference, research, instruction, and some library materials have been available online for more than a decade, but face-to-face interactions with faculty and students still defined the services and communication strategies of the academic library. After campus closure in March 2020 due to COVID-19, academic libraries were forced into a complete remote environment. Library personnel worked together to expand and improve upon online services. Departments using paper-based processes and local digital storage learned to use cloudbased computing. All personnel became accustomed to communication through multiple, layered channels. Eventually, through the creative collaboration of library departments, we managed to design processes to provide most services to patrons so that research and course work were minimally interrupted. Background and Aims: The aim of this study was to analyse the landscape of publications on rectal cancer (RC) over the past 25 years by machine learning and semantic analysis. Methods: Publications indexed in PubMed under the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) term 'Rectal Neoplasms' from 1994 to 2018 were downloaded in September 2019. R and Python were used to extract publication date, MeSH terms and abstract from the metadata of each publication for bibliometric assessment. Latent Dirichlet allocation was applied to analyse the text from the articles' abstracts to identify more specific research topics. Louvain algorithm was used to establish a topic network resulting in identifying the relationship between the topics. Results: A total of 23,492 papers published were identified and analysed in this study. The changes of research focus were analysed by the changing of MeSH terms. Studied contents extracted from the publications were divided into five areas, including surgical intervention, radiotherapy and chemotherapy intervention, clinical case management, epidemiology and cancer risk as well as prognosis studies. Conclusions: The number of publications indexed on RC has expanded rapidly over the past 25 years. Studies on RC have mainly focused on five areas. However, studies on basic research, postoperative quality of life and cost-effective research were relatively lacking. Study Design: Bibliometric analysis.Objective: This study aims to identify and summarize the articles related to sacral fracture surgery, to compare the papers from different countries and journals, to show the trends of researches on sacral fracture surgery.Summary Of Background Data: In recent years, studies on sacral fracture are growing rapidly, but there were no bibliometric studies regarding sacral fracture surgery.Methods: Excel 2016 and VOSviewer were used to identify and summarize the articles from Web of Science between 1900 and 2018. Publication number, publication year, publication country, publication organization, publication source, author, sum of times cited, H-index, and journal's impact factors were recorded and analyzed. Bibliometric maps of co-citations and maps of co-occurrence of keywords are drawn.Results: A total of 611 publications were extracted. United States published most articles (227, 37.2%), both total citations (3536) and H-index (32) of United States ranked first of all the countries. The most productive organization on sacral fracture surgery is Johns Hopkins University (14). Spine (43) published the most articles on sacral fracture surgery. The latest keyword "patterns" appeared in 2017 in 5 articles. Other relatively new keywords include "proximal junctional kyphosis," "spondylopelvic dissociation," "fragility fracture," "lumbopelvic fixation" that appeared in 2017 in eight, six, six, and 25 articles, respectively.Conclusion: This bibliometric study showed that there is a growing trend both in published articles related to sacral fracture surgery and relative research interest in the last 30 years. United States dominates the research regarding sacral fracture surgery. Johns Hopkins University, Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, and Harborview Medical Center are the best institutions related to sacral fracture surgery research. In 2016, to address the historical overrepresentation of male subjects in biomedical research, the US National Institutes of Health implemented a policy requiring investigators to consider sex as a biological variable. In order to assess the impact of this policy, we conducted a bibliometric analysis across nine biological disciplines for papers published in 34 journals in 2019, and compared our results with those of a similar study carried out by Beery and Zucker in 2009. There was a significant increase in the proportion of studies that included both sexes across all nine disciplines, but in eight of the disciplines there was no change in the proportion studies that included data analyzed by sex. The majority of studies failed to provide rationale for single-sex studies or the lack of sex-based analyses, and those that did relied on misconceptions surrounding the hormonal variability of females. Together, these data demonstrate that while sex-inclusive research practices are more commonplace, there are still gaps in analyses and reporting of data by sex in many biological disciplines. Genomic instability is a risk to organism health detected by methods such as the comet assay (CA). It is a highly sensitive and versatile method to detect low levels of DNA damage in a wide range of cells from humans as well as from other species as compared to other methods with the same proposal. CA is a powerful DNA damage analysis tool and its applicability extends to the genotoxicity analysis of, that is, drugs and carcinogenic substances. This study analyzed papers employing CA in the Scopus database in order to assess its scientific importance, employability, and trends by evaluating: number of articles per year, total citations and per year, country of publication and their clusters, clusters of authors, most frequently abstracts terms, name of journal, affiliations, country of publication, subject area, relevant keywords compared to citation clusters, and impact factor (IF) CiteScore. It was retrieved 13,828 articles from 1990 to 2018, with a peak in 2014 and a decline from 2015 to 2018. Four author clusters from China, United States, India, and Brazil were identified, countries presenting the greatest number of publications. China presented the most recent scientific advances in the field. It was also detected nine clusters of themes, and a positive correlation between publications, citations, and the IF. There are full employability and versatility in the use of the method. This paper shows how reading and writing processes contribute to therapist supervision as a means of working through impasse situations and facilitating the development of the therapeutic self. Texts read and written during supervision will mediate resistance, blocked narratives and containment or attention issues, as well as difficulties in change and processing developments during therapy. Texts will serve as a platform to contain the unconscious and conscious realms and shall contain the professional intrapersonal processing of the supervisee, as well as therapist-patient transference and countertransference relations and supervision relations. For this purpose, three variations of supervision shall be presented, demonstrating the transformative power of reading and writing processes for supervision in impasse situations: (1) reading and writing the therapeutic hour's summaries as a means to gain a re-observation; (2) the text's contribution in removing the patient's identity barriers; (3) the text as a release container to expose the iceberg. Objective: The object of this theoretical-empirical work is to analyze the evolution of the Triple Helix movement based on the analysis of the scientific publications database through bibliometric techniques. Methodology: This is an applied exploratory research. The publications database is structured as an MS Excel file fed manually from the annals of international conferences and other publications. The database is periodically frozen and the main authors, institutions, countries of origin, and topics are counted. Originality: The work is original in the idea of knowing an academic movement through its results. Main results: The database gathers 2,700 inputs (24% journal papers, 70% conferences communications, and 6% books, chapters, and others). These communications were written by 3,465 authors, an average of 1.28 authors per work. As expected, the creators of the concept, Henry Etzkowitz and Loet Leydesdorff, together or with partners, are responsible for 9.4% of all communications. Countries such as Brazil, the UK, the USA, Russia, and Italy are very active in the movement and organizing a conference was crucial to the dissemination of the concept in their countries. The indigenous struggle to secure land rights remains a highly contentious issue. This article offers a qualitative discussion of key concepts and a quantitative description of the state-of-the-art indigenous land rights literature based on bibliometric methods. It argues that a Polanyian conception of reciprocity is vital to understanding the relationship between some indigenous peoples and their land. Conceptually, reciprocity is based on the notion of interdependence. The qualitative exercise shows the difference between land rights and territorial rights. Indigenous peoples are fighting for territorial rights as they are linked to self-determination and foster cultural reproduction. The findings indicate that issues related to indigenous land rights in Latin America have generated much scholarly interest in recent times. Arguably, this trend is linked to several factors, including neoliberal multiculturalism, the pink tide, and the territorial turn. The paper highlights the need for research that focuses on social dispossession and social differentiation in indigenous communities. Specifically, it calls for research on how social differentiation plays out in the context of indigenous land rights, including how social dispossession supports the expansion of capitalism in indigenous communities. Summary: The use of bioherbicides containing fungal active ingredients or natural fungal molecules is one of the possible solutions to reduce the use of chemical products. This paper focuses on studies of bioherbicides, including both living fungi and natural fungal molecules, published in the last 45 years, and their associated weed targets; current problems in the development of bioherbicides are also discussed. Bibliometric methods based on the Web of Science database were used to analyse relevant articles published between 1973 and 2018. Overall analysis suggested that interest in bioherbicides extends over the preceding thirty years, when many potential microorganisms and natural fungal molecules were proposed. Furthermore, analysis of about 229 articles indicated an encouraging exploitable potential, although there is a real gap between the number of experimental studies and the small number of products currently on the market. A dozen fungal‐based bioherbicides are on the market in the United States and Canada, while countries, such as China and South Africa, have one, and none is available in Europe. The active ingredients in these bioherbicides are living fungi, but no fungal molecule‐based product is thus far on the market. Reasons for this gap include production hurdles, formulation process, ecological fitness, duration of herbicidal effects, and costly and time‐consuming registration procedures. Purpose: The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) 2019-2024 Strategy was launched at the World Library and Information Congress 2019 held in Athens from 24th to 30th August. The Strategy is the result of actions which took place over two years, centred on a bottom-up process engaging librarians to design new roadmaps and to be active change agents. The purpose of this paper was to conduct an interview to understand how the IFLA Strategy may impact libraries and support librarians as change agents at local, national and regional level. Design/methodology/approach: Interview was conducted face-to-face and recorded. Findings: The IFLA Strategy aims to make librarians aware that they are the actors of the innovation process, becoming the agents of change and of dialogue at different levels. Background and Aims: The aim of this study was to analyse the landscape of publications on rectal cancer (RC) over the past 25 years by machine learning and semantic analysis. Methods: Publications indexed in PubMed under the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) term 'Rectal Neoplasms' from 1994 to 2018 were downloaded in September 2019. R and Python were used to extract publication date, MeSH terms and abstract from the metadata of each publication for bibliometric assessment. Latent Dirichlet allocation was applied to analyse the text from the articles' abstracts to identify more specific research topics. Louvain algorithm was used to establish a topic network resulting in identifying the relationship between the topics. Results: A total of 23,492 papers published were identified and analysed in this study. The changes of research focus were analysed by the changing of MeSH terms. Studied contents extracted from the publications were divided into five areas, including surgical intervention, radiotherapy and chemotherapy intervention, clinical case management, epidemiology and cancer risk as well as prognosis studies. Conclusions: The number of publications indexed on RC has expanded rapidly over the past 25 years. Studies on RC have mainly focused on five areas. However, studies on basic research, postoperative quality of life and cost-effective research were relatively lacking.
