U ovome radu je cilj prikazati na koji način čimbenici socijalizacije obitelj, škola, vršnjačke grupe i mediji utječu na pojavu devijantnog ponašanja. U prvom djelu rada je prikazan teorijski dio o socijalizaciji, teorijski dio o devijantnosti sa osvrtom na maloljetničku delikvenciju i devijantno ponašanje. U drugom djelu rada se govori o obitelji, o važnosti komunikacije unutar nje, o roditeljima i odgojnim stilovima. Obitelj i njen utjecaj je predmet istraživanja rada. Ona je temeljna institucija društva. O tome u kakvog će čovjeka dijete izrasti, veliki i ako ne i najveći utjecaj ima obitelj. Također, razjasnit će se i na koji način mediji imaju sve veći utjecaj (pozitivan ili negativan) na socijalizaciju djece i mladih. Stavlja se i poseban naglasak na školu, vršnjačke grupe i sve veću pojavu nasilja unutar vršnjaka., The aim of this paper is to show how socialization factors such as family, school, peer groups and the media influence the emergence of deviant behavior. The first part of the paper presents the theoretical background on socialization and deviance, with references to juvenile delinquency and deviant behavior. The second part of the paper discusses the family, the importance of communication within it, parents, and parenting styles. The family and its influence is the research subject of this paper. It is the fundamental institution of society. The family has a large, if not the most important influence on what kind of person a child grows up to be. Also, an increasing influence of media(positive or negative) on the socialization of children and young people will be discussed. A special emphasis is placed on the role of school, peer groups, and the increasing occurrence of violence among peers.

The article displayed the results of a legal and sociological study of some gender-related problems in the security sector of theMinistry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. A survey of employees of the National Police of Ukraine, the National Guard and the State BorderGuard Service revealed the most relevant phenomena of gender inequality and intolerance in the relationship between women andmen within the scope of their official duties and in everyday life. The study proved the absence of a critical state of gender-related problemsin the security sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, not only in the everyday life of employees, but also at theplace of execution of official duties. In particular, almost all of the interviewed employees, women and men, support the opinion aboutequal opportunities in professional development, and more than half of the male law enforcement officers believe that women and menwith the same qualifications will cope with their official duties equally well. Also, the majority of respondents feel quite comfortableworking with female colleagues not only at the same level of subordination, but also under the guidance of female colleagues. At thesame time, 40 % of the women surveyed stated that they and their colleagues face certain forms of discrimination within the securitysector. The overwhelming majority of both men and women counteract sexual harassment among workers in the sector, since half ofthe women surveyed reported their experience of sexual harassment or actions of a sexual nature in public places. That’s why, 80.5 %of men and 94.3 % of women among the polled law enforcement officers support the need to adopt a law that would recognize sexualmisconduct or sexual harassment in public places as a crime. In the families of security sector employees, one in five women experiencedphysical violence by a partner, and 10.3 % of men admitted to having committed it. The role of the experience of primary socializationof security sector employees in childhood in the formation of inadequate gender stereotypes is stated. The necessity of implementationof legal, organizational, personnel, psychological and pedagogical measures for the prevention of gender problems in theactivities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is substantiated on the basis of an adequate perception of human rights, mutualrespect and tolerance.

Este artículo presenta los resultados del proyecto de investigación Caracterización de los procesos de socialización primaria respecto a la incidencia en el desarrollo integral de las infancias en contexto del Caquetá, en lo que concierne a los hallazgos en familias homoparentales. La población estuvo representada por tres familias homoparentales con niños en edades entre cuatro y seis años. Para este ejercicio investigativo se hizo uso de la técnica de investigación “observación directa” y del instrumento “guía de observación”, para el que se determinaron cuatro categorías de análisis: (a) condiciones para el desarrollo físico y biológico, (b) condiciones para el desarrollo psicosocial, (c) condiciones para el desarrollo cognitivo y (d) contexto socioeconómico de la familia. Se utilizó el tipo de investigación descriptiva desde un enfoque cualitativo. Los resultados consisten en la identificación de las características del proceso de socialización primaria respecto al desarrollo integral de niños y niñas en familias homoparentales. This paper presents the results of the research project called “Characterization of primary socialization processes with respect to the incidence in the development of infancy in Caqueta context” carried out with Homoparental families. The population was represented by three homoparental families with children aged from 4 to 6 years; for this investigative exercise, the “direct observation” technique was used and the “observation guide” instrument was composed of four categories of analysis: conditions for physical and biological development, conditions for the psycho-social development, conditions for cognitive development and socio-economic family context. A descriptive research was used from a qualitative approach. The results have an impact in the identification of the characteristics of the primary socialization process with respect to the integral development of children in Homoparental families.

Early childhood socialization is particularly important in the formation of personality. Usually, through socialization, children learn to make important future choices in all spheres of life. This can be in terms of political, social, economic, and physical decision making. Recently, children have been reported to use inappropriate language on adults and their mates; fighting teachers, parents, and adults; burning schools; abusing drugs; engaging in premarital sex; even trafficking drugs; among other social vices. Moreover, children have been seen to value ethnic and religious pessimism. The pessimism has led to the retention of negative ethnicity leading to prejudice and stereotyping. Studies have pointed out poor parenting as the main cause for this disturbing trend. The study was guided by the social learning theory and cognitive development theory. The study adopted a simple analytical framework—the search, appraisal, synthesis, and analysis (SALSA)—to examine the main review types. Data were analyzed using discourse and content analysis.

Applying primary socialization theory to a sample of early adolescents from Nicaragua, this study examines direct and indirect associations between family bonding and adolescent alcohol use via substance specific prevention communication (SSPC) and adolescent efficacy. Early adolescents in 7th and 8th grades completed a self-report, cross-sectional survey. Structural equation modeling revealed that family expressiveness was significantly indirectly related to adolescent lifetime alcohol use through SSPC. Results are discussed in relation to primary socialization theory, family communication, and international substance use prevention efforts. This study provides supportive evidence for the important role of positive family communication as a protective factor for early adolescents in Nicaragua.

Using primary socialization theory (PST), we examined the nonmedical use of prescription pain relievers among African-American adolescents in the National Survey of Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) 2013. Self-reported nonmedical use of pain relievers, PST constructs, and covariates were addressed using cluster logistic regression. The results indicated that the perception of associating with substance using peers and poor parental bonds were more likely to nonmedically use prescription pain relievers. The limitations and implications for future research are noted.

The present monograph is second in a series of reports on research work edited by Basil Bernstein of the University of London. The research, carried out by the Sociological Research Unit of the University of London Institute of Education, is concerned with the inter-relationship between culture, social organization and orientations towards certain uses of language. This monograph presents a framework for the linguistic analysis of speech and a computer program to process the results of this analysis. The model of description for the linguistic analysis is that known as "scale and category" grammar, which enables the investigator to vary, according to his particular interests, the amount of detail he enters into at various points in the description. The authors have made use of this facility and discuss the special interests, sociological and psychological, that influenced their choice of detail. It is suggested that this work will be of interest to linguists, sociologists, social psychologists, educationalists, and those concerned with analyzing speech texts or behavior on a scale large enough to need computer assistance. U okviru ovog rada provedeno je istraživanje o međugeneracijskom odgoju, odnosno odgajaju li roditelji svoju djecu na način na koji su bili odgajani i sami te hoće li na svoju djecu prenositi one vrijednosti koje su na njih prenosili njihovi roditelji. Kao instrument koristila sam anketni upitnik uz pomoć kojeg su roditelji procjenjivali koliko se slažu odnosno ne slažu s tvrdnjama. Prikupljeni rezultati su potvrdili dvije postavljene hipoteze. Cilj istraživanja je bio utvrditi prenosili se odgoj međugeneracijski odnosno hoće li roditelji koristiti isti način odgoja i prenositi iste vrijednosti na svoju djecu kao što su oni bili odgajani od strane svojih roditelja. Može se zaključiti da će način na koji smo mi odgajani uvelike utjecati na naš odgojni stil te da ćemo vrijednosti koje primimo od svojih roditelja proslijediti dalje na svoju djecu. Važno je naglasiti kako se većina roditelja slaže s tvrdnjom da žele da njihovo dijete ima vlastita uvjerenja i stavove zbog toga što djeca ne bi trebala biti kopija svojih roditelja već bi putem odgoja i socijalizacije trebala postati samostalne i odgovorne osobe., The paper is a research of intergenerational education, more precisely, it is a study of whether parents raise their children in the manner they were once raised themselves and whether values acquired in ones childhood are then passed on to one’s children. The instrument that was implemented is the Likert scale. This was chosen because it aided parents in rating how much they agree or disagree with the claims in the survey that was given to them. The collected results showed the validity of the two proposed hypotheses. The aim of this paper was to affirm whether education is being transmitted in an intergenerational manner, more precisely, whether parents use the same manner of education and upbringing of their children and whether they transmit the values they acquired in childhood to their children in the same manner as their own parents implemented when raising them. It can be assumed that the way one was raised very much affects our style of parenting. Moreover, it can be assumed that one will the forward values, which we acquired from ones parents, to one’s own children. It is important to emphasize that most parents agree with the claim that they want their child to have their own beliefs and attitudes which in itself important because children are not meant to be a copy of their parents. It is through the process of education and socialization that the children of today should strive to become independent and responsible persons.
