Background: Astaxanthin (AST) shows a large range of beneficial effects together with anti-cancer and antioxidation properties. Human Serum Albumin (HSA) is the most abundant protein in blood plasma which plays the role of a depot and transport protein for many exogenous compounds. However, whether HSA could enhance AST-induced cytotoxic effects in human ovarian cancer cells has not been examined to date. Objective: This study aims to explore the anticancer effect and the molecular mechanism of AST combine with HSA induced cytotoxicity in ovarian cancer SKOV3 cells. Methods: The ovarian cancer SKOV3 cells were treated by AST combined with HSA to study the effects of cell proliferation, cell morphology, cell cycle arrest, related protein expression, nuclear transfer, cell migration, and drug-resistant. Results: Our data confirmed that AST+HSA treatment enhanced the anticancer effects of AST, arrested G1 phase cell cycle and induced apoptosis in SKOV3 cells. AST+HSA induced apoptosis via mitochondrial apoptotic pathways was related to the increased ratio of Bcl-2/Bax and activation of caspase-3. Besides, exposure of cells to AST+HSA triggered the inactivation of NF-κB and activation p53 and MAPKs signaling pathways. Furthermore, AST+HSA significantly overcome the drug-resistant and inhibited the migration of SKOV3 cells. Conclusion: AST combined treatment with HSA considerably inhibited NF-κB expression and translocation to nucleus, thereby improving the AST-induced cytotoxic effect on SKOV3 cells. These findings may provide rationale to combine AST with HSA for the treatment of ovarian cancer.

The highest frequency duct is evaporation duct under marine atmospheric environment, and it is a special method of expanding the radar measuring range by using the evaporation duct to achieve the over-the-horizon detection. On what conditions to ensure the realization of the over-the-horizon radar detection is one of key problems. Many aspects, such as evaporation duct discrimination, radar working wavelength and frequency, initial launching angle and the location of radar are studied to get the necessary conditions of the over-the-horizon radar detection. The results show that the four kinds of necessary conditions must meet at the same time instead of only one certain condition, which lays a necessary foundation for the marine radar, ship radar and communication system to exert the largest effects in the evaporation duct environment.

By Means of Fluent 6.3,the paper simulated the solid-liquid two-phase flow to a centrifugal sewerage pump, using Eulerian Mixture Model under different working condition and different particle size. The simulation draws some conclusion on distributive rules of solid particle inside impeller passage. The results for this simulation were as following: Distributive rules of solid particle inside impeller passage mainly relate to particle size. Meanwhile, the volume fraction of particles and operation condition have influence on distributive rules of solid particle. The simulated results can explain commendably that attrition took place inside pump passage when pump transported solid-liquid two-phase flow. Meanwhile, the simulated results have reference price to improve the design for pump and performance of pump.

- Abstract
The Ben cao gang mu, compiled in the second half of the sixteenth century by a team led by the physician Li Shizhen (1518–1593) on the basis of previously published books and contemporary knowledge, is the largest encyclopedia of natural history in a long tradition of Chinese materia medica works. Its description of almost 1,900 pharmaceutically used natural and man-made substances marks the apex of the development of premodern Chinese pharmaceutical knowledge. The Ben cao gang mu dictionary offers access to this impressive work of 1,600,000 characters. This third book in a three-volume series offers detailed biographical data on all identifiable authors, patients, witnesses of therapies, transmitters of recipes, and further persons mentioned in the Ben cao gang mu and provides bibliographical data on all textual sources resorted to and quoted by Li Shizhen and his collaborators.
