Abstract
- The article reports on legal developments relating to the regulation of product characteristics in the field of marketing in the U.S. The author discusses product warranties issued after the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act in relation to product standard regulations. The disclosure of warranty terms is also discussed. Information about a trade regulation associated with product quality in the used automobile industry is included. A U.S. Federal Trade Commission regulation concerning consumer protection within the credit industry is also mentioned.
