Abstract

The article discusses challenges in implementing dietary guidance into sustainable food products. Topics discussed include growth in the research activity related to sustainable diets, definition of sustainable diets by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, and need of better dietary guidelines to minimize environmental impact.
