Abstract

The article focuses on a study which aims to understand the frequency of thermotolerant Gampylobacter spp. contamination in raw meat samples obtained from different catering production plants in Italy. It provides information about the genus Gampylobacter, which contains Gram-negative spiralshaped bacteria. Several reports related to foodborne disease are mentioned.
