- The article offers information on using critical theory to investigate the imbalance of power and systems of inequality in the U.S. Topics discussed include educational goal of encouraging critical thinking; adoption of the C3 Framework and the development of the Inquiry Design Model for implementing a critical social studies pedagogy; and asking questions on oppression and power.
