Intraosseous hemangiomas rarely occur in jaw bones. Clinically, mucosal and soft tissue lesions are easily diagnosed, but intrabony lesions are difficult to distinguish due to varying symptoms, ranging from tooth mobility to pulsatile bleeding. These lesions also exhibit marked variability in their radiological appearance. We present a rare case report of a 75-year-old male with cavernous hemangioma of the left mandible with vague clinical features but characteristic radiographic and histological features.

Myeloma is a spectrum of diseases within the general category of plasma cell dyscrasias. Plasma cell myeloma may present as one of three distinct clinical entities: Multiple myeloma, Solitary Plasma cell myeloma of Bone (SPB) and extra medullary Plasmacytoma. The solitary Plasmacytoma of bone is an unusual neoplasm of plasma cells. It occurs most frequently in the vertebrae, femur, and pelvis. Its occurrence in the mandible is very rare. This solitary lesion usually appears as a swelling in the premolarmolar region. The presenting radiological feature can be a destructive or a multilocular lesion. The clinical and radiographic features of SPB are nonspecific and can be mistaken for giant cell granulomas, odontogenic cysts etc. This article describes the clinical presentation and varying roentgenographic features of three cases of SPB that had reported to our department.
