6. Slobodno vrijeme i glazba: izvannastavne i izvanškolske glazbene aktivnosti učenika u gradu i predgrađu

Učenicima osnovne škole nude se različite glazbene aktivnosti, kako u okviru školske ustanove (izvannastavne aktivnosti), tako i izvan nje (izvanškolske aktivnosti), a uključenost osnovnoškolaca u spomenute aktivnosti ovisi o raznolikim čimbenicima. U okviru ovoga rada provedeno je istraživanje koje se odvijalo tijekom 2018. godine i koje je obuhvatilo 510 ispitanika. Istraživanje je provedeno postupkom anketiranja na prigodnom uzorku u dvjema općeobrazovnim osnovnim školama Osječko-baranjske županije, tj. anketirani su učenici od četvrtog do osmog razreda jedne prigradske i jedne gradske škole. Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi u kojoj su mjeri izvannastavne i izvanškolske glazbene aktivnosti zastupljene među učenicima i utječu li lokacija škole, spol, razred učenika i (ne)bavljenje glazbom njihovih roditelja na pohađanje glazbenih aktivnosti. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako je polaženje tih aktivnosti podjednako zastupljeno kod učenika u predgrađu i gradu. Također, utvrđeno je kako spomenute aktivnosti pohađa znatno veći broj djevojčica u odnosu na dječake. Izvanškolske glazbene aktivnosti u većoj mjeri polaze učenici četvrtih, petih i šestih razreda, negoli sedmih i osmih. Ujedno, utvrđeno je kako učenici, čiji se roditelji bave glazbom, u značajnoj mjeri polaze glazbene aktivnosti. Sveukupno, rezultati ovog istraživanja pokazali su nedovoljnu zastupljenost izvannastavnih i izvanškolskih glazbenih aktivnosti među populacijiom učenika od čevrtog do osmog razreda osnovne škole. Brojnija ponuda glazbenih aktivnosti i snažnije animiranje učenika za uključivanje u iste nužni su jer su istraživanja pokazala brojne dobrobiti bavljenja glazbom, poput poboljšanja ponašanja, školskih postignuća, društvenih vještina, pamćenja, kreativnosti, kognitivnih vještina i cjelokupnoga osobnog razvoja.

Unatoč aktualnim pojavnostima u društvu koje sustavno utječu na smanjenje slobodnoga vremena kod svih društvenih skupina, zborsko je pjevanje zadržalo svoju bogatu tradiciju i mjesto najzastupljenije slobodne aktivnosti u kojoj pojedinci uspješno iznalaze načine da zadovolje svoju potrebu za aktivnošću, socijalizacijom, da kvalitetno zadovolje zanimanje za glazbu i glazbeno stvaralaštvo te da se dodatno afirmiraju u društvu. Na temelju dosadašnjih istraživanja ukazujemo na odnos glazbenih aktivnosti i dobrobiti pojedinca, povezanost pozitivnih emocija s pjevanjem u zboru, što se očituje u promjeni fiziološkoga statusa pjevača te na razvoj glazbenih vještina i poboljšanje psihofizičkoga stanja pjevača. Vodeći se iskustvima iz ranijih svjetskih istraživanja, a radi utvrđivanja odnosa aktivnosti zborskoga pjevanja i dobrobiti pjevača amatera provedeno je istraživanje u kojemu se ispitala duljina pjevačkog staža, zadovoljstvo životom, doprinos pjevanja subjektivnom osjećaju dobrobiti te percipirana procjena fizičke, emocionalne, socijalne i duhovne dobrobiti. Dobiveni rezultati potvrđuju da pjevanje u zboru pruža brojna osobna poboljšanja kod pjevača. Pjevači procjenjuju da je najsnažnija dobrobit od zborskog pjevanja povezana s emocionalnim, zatim socijalnim pa fizičkim i najmanje s područjem duhovne dobrobiti. Zborsko pjevanje, osim primarne umjetničke funkcije, pridonosi emocionalnoj, društvenoj i fizičkoj dobrobiti kao važnom cilju slobodnih aktivnosti i života uopće.

Slobodno vrijeme odnosi se na vrijeme koje pojedincu preostaje nakon primarnih obaveza i ga provodi na zdrav način u skladu s njegovim intersima. Kako bi budući učitelji ostvarili kvalitetne odnose sa učenicima ili drugim osobama koje karakterizira druga kultura važno je razviti interkulturalne kompetencije. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati razinu razvijenosti interkulturalne osjetljivosti studenata učiteljskih studija u Republici Hrvatskoj, odnosno postojanje razlika u razvijenosti interkulturalne osjetljivosti ovih studenata s obzirom na njihove aktivnosti u slobodnom vremenu, ali i neke sociodemografske pokazatelje. U istraživanju sudjelovalo je 235 studenata. Istraživanje je provedeno putem online Google obrasca. Korišten je paket programa za obradu statističkih podataka Statistika 14.0 i Microsoft Excela. Rezultati su pokazali da studenti učiteljskih studija u Republici Hrvatskoj iskazuju iznadprosječno razvijenu interkulturalnu osjetljivost.Djelomično je potvrđeno da studenti učiteljskih studija u Republici Hrvatskoj iskazuju razlike u razvijenosti interkulturalne osjetljivosti s obzirom na sociodemografske čimbenike što se statistički moglo uočiti u odgovoru za završenu srednju školu.Nadalje,studenti učiteljskih studija u Republici Hrvatskoj djelomično iskazuju razlike u razvijenosti interkulturalne osjetljivosti s obzirom na aktivnosti kojima se bave u svoje slobodno vrijeme. Pokazalo se da postoji statistički značajna razlika u razvijenosti interkulturalne osjetljivosti s obzirom na aktivnosti u slobodnom vremenu. When we are talking about free time, we are talking about time that is left after a primary needs in their own way acording to their interests. In order for teachers to achieve quality relationships with pupils or other people who are characterized by another culture it is important for them to develop intercultural competence. The objective of this research was to question level of development when it comes to intercultural sensitivity of students of Faculty of Teacher Education in Croatia, namely the existance of differences in development of intercultural sensitivity based on student's free time activities and some sociodemographic indicators. In this research participated 235 students. The research was done online with Google forms. The collected data was procesed by a program for processing statistical data Statistika 14.0 and Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the students are above average when it comes to intercultural sensitivity. Partly confirmed is that the students express differences in development of intercultural sensitivity due to sociodemographic indicators which we statistically can notice in answers regarding which highschool did they graduate from. In addition, students of Faculty of teacher education in Croatia expressed slight differences in development of intercultural sensitivity due to activities they take on in their free time. It has been shown that there is a significant difference in level of development of intercultural sensitivitiy based on the activities that students do in their free time.

Kao ustanova koja provodi organizirani odgoj i obrazovanje, škola ima zadatak ponuditi djeci i mladima sadržaje kojima bi kvalitetno i korisno ispunili svoje slobodno vrijeme. Upravo iz tog razloga, škole organiziraju izvannastavne aktivnosti koje se planiraju školskim kurikulumom i to za svaku školsku godinu. Izvannastavne aktivnosti organizira, osmišlja te provodi učitelj ili voditelj izvannastavnih aktivnosti, a učenici se dobrovoljno priključuju te imaju pravo odabrati bilo koju aktivnost ovisno o svojim željama i potrebama. Izvannastavne aktivnosti imaju kulturnoumjetničko, sportsko, tehničko, rekreacijsko i znanstveno (obrazovno) obilježje pa kroz njih učenici zadovoljavaju svoje stvaralačke i rekreativne potrebe te stječu kulturu korištenja slobodnog vremena. Izvannastavne aktivnosti su vrlo bitan faktor za budućnost kako svake odgojnoobrazovne ustanove, tako i za svakog pojedinca unutar nje, ponajprije učenika. U ovom radu provedena je analiza internetskih stranica škola te školskih kurikuluma te istraženo koliko su zastupljene izvannastavne aktivnosti u osnovnim školama Zadarske i Ličko-senjske županije. School is an institution which deals with organized upbringing and education and one of its main tasks is offering children and young people various useful activities that could fill their free time. Precisely for this reason schools organize extracurricular activities that are planned out within the school curriculum for each school year. Such activities are contrived, organized and carried out by a teacher or a leader of extracurricular activities, whilst students join voluntarily, having the right to choose any activity depending on their wishes and needs. Extracurricular activities may vary according to their characteristics - cultural, artistic, sports, technical, recreational and scientific (educational) – which makes it possible for students to satisfy their creative and recreational needs as well understand the concept of leisure. Extracurricular activities are a very important factor for the future of all educational institutions, as well as for every individual inside, primarily the students. Through an analysis of school’s websites and curricula, this paper researches the extent to which extracurricular activities are represented in elementary schools of Zadar County and Lika-Senj County.

23. Choral Singing and the Subjective Sense of Life Satisfaction

Leisure has a rich social, psychological and educational potential. Choral singing is one of the most common organized musical leisure activities, which is, according to numerous studies, in addition to the obvious primary musical function, unattributed to various psychological, therapeutic, educational and other benefits. This paper presents the results of research aimed at determining the relationship between quality leisure time spent participating in choir activities, determinants and dimensions of subjective and psychological well-being and elements characteristic of the sense of life satisfaction (global and situational). The aim of the research was to determine the level of the subjective feeling of life satisfaction of choir singers, to point out possible benefits arising from active and organized music engagement in choirs and to check whether there is a connection between these activities and the subjective sense of life satisfaction in active singers of different ages, genders, and professional or amateur groups. The results indicate that choir singers show a relatively high level of life satisfaction and that there are certain differences in relation to their age, gender and status, but not in relation to the duration of their participation in the activity., Slobodno vrijeme ima bogat društveni, psihološki i odgojni potencijal. Zborsko je pjevanje jedna od najčešćih organiziranih glazbenih aktivnosti slobodnog vremena kojem se, prema brojnim istraživanjima, pripisuju različite psihološke, terapijske, odgojne i druge dobrobiti. Rad donosi rezultate istraživanja koje je bilo usmjereno na utvrđivanje povezanosti između kvalitetnog provođenja slobodnog vremena u okviru aktivnog sudjelovanja u pjevačkim zborovima i odrednica subjektivne i psihološke dobrobiti te elemenata karakterističnih za osjećaj životnog zadovoljstva (globalnog i situacijskog). Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi razinu subjektivnog osjećaja životnog zadovoljstva zborskih pjevača, ukazati na moguće dobrobiti koje proizlaze iz aktivnog i organiziranog bavljenja glazbom u okviru pjevačkih zborova te provjeriti postoji li povezanost između tih aktivnosti i subjektivnog osjećaja zadovoljstva životom kod aktivnih pjevača različitih dobnih, spolnih i profesionalnih, odnosno amaterskih skupina. Rezultati su pokazali da zborski pjevači pokazuju relativno visoku razinu osjećaja životnog zadovoljstva te da postoje razlike u odnosu na dob, spol i status pjevača, no ne i u odnosu na trajanje sudjelovanja u aktivnosti.

Ples je dio ljudske svakodnevice te postoji u različitim formama. U ovom radu naglasak je na latinoameričkim plesovima, plesovima tradicionalnim za područje Srednje i Južne Amerike. Posljednjih dvadesetak godina ovi plesovi veoma su popularni i na našim prostorima, a osim profesionalnog bavljenja postoji i amatersko, odnosno rekreativno plesanje. Najviše plesnih sadržaja nalazi se u Zagrebu, dok je ponuda u drugim manjim gradovima slabija, ili je nema. Samobor je grad nedaleko od Zagreba te je relativno dobro povezan s metropolom. Prije desetak godina vrvio je od plesnih sadržaja, no unazad nekoliko godina u Samoboru ne postoji mogućnost treniranja latino plesova u plesnim klubovima. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je doznati koja je motivacija rekreativnih plesačica iz Samobora za bavljenjem ovim plesovima te objasniti što ples plesačicama znači, odnosno plešu li one unatoč nepostojanju plesnih sadržaja u njihovom gradu. Dance is a part of human everyday life and exists in various forms. In this work, the emphasis is on Latin American dances, traditional dances for Central and South America. Over the last twenty years these dances have been very popular in our country, despite professional practice, there is also social or recreational dancing. Most of the dance events and practices are located in Zagreb, while the possibilities for this hobby in other towns over the country are weaker or non-existent. Samobor is a town near Zagreb and is well connected to the metropolis. Ten years ago Samobor had numerous dance content, but for the last few years social dancing is not existing. The aim of this research was to find out what is the motivation of social women dancers from Samobor for engaging in these hobby, to research their belief of dance and to find out are they still active social dancers despite the lack of dance content in their town.

Slobodno vrijeme predstavlja ono vrijeme koje preostaje nakon bavljenja zadanim obvezama. Tijekom pojave COVID-19 pandemije aktivnosti i struktura slobodnog vremena značajno se mijenja za svaku dobnu skupinu. Skupinu koju ta promjena značajno pogađa jesu i srednjoškolci. Zbog tih razloga u ovome radu smo se usmjerili na analizu promjena koje su se odnosile na aktivnosti i preferencije u njihovom slobodnom vremenu. Cilj ovoga istraživanja je bio istražiti oblike provođenja slobodnog vremena srednjoškolaca putem online anketnog upitnika. Istraživanje je provedeno u razdoblju od studenog 2021. godine do kolovoza 2022. godine. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na promijenjene obrasce korištenja slobodnog vremena tijekom pandemije., Free time represents the time that remains after dealing with assigned obligations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the activity and structure of free time changes significantly for each age group. High school students are a group that is significantly affected by this change. For these reasons, in this paper we focused on the analysis of changes related to activities and preferences in their free time. The aim of this research was to investigate the forms of spending free time of high school students through an online questionnaire. The research was conducted in the period from November 2021 to August 2022. The obtained results indicate changed patterns of use of free time during the pandemic.

Dosada kao dio slobodnog vremena ima iznimnu važnost u svakodnevnom životu pojedinaca, osobito adolescenata. Dosada je kompleksan fenomen obilježen heterogenošću značenja i divergentnim interpretacijama. Relativno neistraženo, ali izuzetno važno područje istraživanja s ogromnim potencijalom. Osim što je sastavni dio slobodnog vremena adolescenata, novija istraživanja dokazuju da se sve više adolescenata dosađuje u svom slobodnom vremenu što povlači mnoge, uglavnom, negativne posljedice. Cilj ovoga rada bio je ispitati stavove i percepciju o obilježjima osjećaja dosade u slobodnom vremenu iz perspektive određene dobne skupine – adolescenata. Problemi istraživanja su usmjereni na učestalost osjećaja dosade u slobodnom vremenu mladih s obzirom na sociodemografske značajke i vrstu slobodnovremenskih aktivnosti te stavove i percepciju adolescenata o povezanosti osjećaja dosade s okolinskim situacijskim čimbenicima, rizičnim stilovima ponašanja te percepcijom odgojno-obrazovne institucije i rada odgojno-obrazovnih djelatnika. Za potrebe istraživanja izrađena je anketa koja se provodila online putem na prigodnome uzorku od 234 ispitanika u dobi od 15 do 24 godine. Rezultati istraživanja su potvrdili statistički značajnu razliku u učestalosti osjećaja dosade u slobodnom vremenu s obzirom na dob, materijalni status ispitanika i vrstu slobodnovremenske aktivnosti. Korelacijskim analizama potvrđena je statistički umjerena povezanost učestalosti osjećaja dosade i loših okolinskih situacijskih čimbenika, učestalosti rizičnih ponašanja i nekvalitetnim radom profesora na nastavi te statistički slabija povezanost učestalosti osjećaja dosade i percepcije rizičnih ponašanja pojedinaca. Boredom as part of leisure time is extremely important in the daily lives of individuals, especially adolescents. Boredom is a complex phenomenon characterized by heterogeneity of meaning and divergent interpretations. It is a relatively unexplored but extremely important area of research with enormous potential. In addition to being an integral part of adolescents' leisure time, recent research proves that more and more adolescents are bored in their free time, which entails many, mostly negative consequences. The aim of this study was to examine attitudes and perceptions about the characteristics of feelings of boredom in free time from the perspective of a certain age group – adolescents. The problems of the research are focused on the frequency of feelings of boredom in the free time of young people with regard to sociodemographic features and the type of leisure activities, as well as the attitudes and perceptions of adolescents about the connection of feelings of boredom with environmental situational factors, risky behavioral styles, and perceptions of educational institutions and the work of educational workers. For the purpose of the survey, a survey was conducted online on a suitable sample of 234 respondents aged 15 to 24 years. The results of the research confirmed a statistically significant difference in the frequency of feelings of boredom in leisure time with regard to age, material status of subjects, and type of free time activity. Correlation analyses confirmed the statistically moderate correlation between the frequency of feeling of boredom and poor environmental situational factors, the frequency of risky behaviors, and poor quality work of professors in class, and the statistically weaker association between the frequency of feeling of boredom and the perception in risky behaviors of other people.

Industrija video-igara dominira industrijom zabave 21. stoljeća i bilježi postepen rast broja korisnika prilikom čega video-igrice postaju i slobodna aktivnost odraslih. Zbog sve sporijeg preuzimanja karakteristika koje su se dugo smatrale znakom odraslosti bilježi se sve manja unificiranost u procesu postajanja odraslom osobom. Uzme li se u obzir da su anksioznost i depresija u porastu na globalnoj razini te da je razdoblje postajanja odraslom osobom puno različitih stresora nastoji se ispitati kako odabir video-igara kao slobodnovremenske aktivnosti povezana s pojavom simptoma depresije i anksioznosti. Istraživanje je provedeno 2022./23. godine na uzorku od 271 ispitanika između 18 i 35 godina. Primijenjen je mrežni anketni upitnik koji uključuje pitanja o sociodemografskim karakteristikama ispitanika, njihovim navikama igranja video-igara, test samoprocjene simptoma anksioznosti i depresije te mišljenja o povezanosti igranja video-igara i mentalnog zdravlja. Deskriptivnom se statistikom uviđaju određene razlike u navikama igranja video-igara s obzirom na sociodemografske karakteristike. Muškarci igraju više od žena te ispitanici od 30 do 35 godina igraju nešto češće video-igre od ostalih ispitanika. Nadalje, istraživanje ne pokazuje da izloženost video-igrama dovodi do znatno boljih ili lošijih rezultata na testu samoprocjene mentalnog stanja, no igrači video-igara bilježe nešto bolje rezultate od neigrača što otvara prostor za daljnja istraživanja o mogućim pozitivnih utjecajima video-igara na mentalno zdravlje. Video games are dominating in the entertainment industry of the 21st century and the number of gamers is continuously on the rise. It is becoming increasingly harder to describe a stereotypical gamer since gaming is no longer exclusively meant for children and adolescents. Due to the nature of the 21st century, young people are slower to enter adulthood. The process of becoming an adult is filled with many turmoils and can leave a lasting impact on the mental health of young adults. Meanwhile, depression and anxiety are becoming a global problem. The research problem focuses on video-game as a leisure activity chosen by young adults and how that choice might help or harm their attempt to navigate the turmoils of becoming an adult. The survey was conducted 2022/23 using a survey questionnaire on a sample of 271 young adults between 18 and 35 with the regard to sociodemographic variables, the gaming habits of young adults, the results of the self-assessment of anxiety and depression symptoms and the opinions on the impact of gaming on mental health. Significant differences were found regarding gender (males play more than females) and age (young adults from 30-35 game more often). The research didn't prove a strong relation between gaming and mental health but the self-assessment test of gamers did show better results on a smaller scale in comparison to non-gamers which opens many discussions about the possible positive impact of gaming on mental health.

Ovim radom istražuju se mogućnosti i potencijali likovnih radionica kao oblika kontinuiranog učenja u učenikovo slobodno vrijeme. U školskom kurikulumu predmet Likovna kultura sveden je na svega jedan sat tjedno. Ova činjenica doprinosi marginalizaciji našeg razumijevanja umjetnosti, kulture te važnosti likovnosti u razvoju djece i mladih. Likovna kultura pozitivno utječe na psihomotorički razvoj djece, razvija kreativnost i emocionalnu inteligenciju. Da zbog manjkave satnice ne bi izgubili na ovim pozitivnim čimbenicima, primorani smo pronalaziti alternative. Jedna dobra alternativa su upravo likovne radionice jer pružaju dodatnu priliku za razvijanje likovnosti, kreativnosti i dječjeg stvaralaštva. Otvaraju dodatno vrijeme i prostor za upoznavanja umjetnosti i kulture. One mogu biti izvannastavna aktivnost pod okriljem škole ili izvanškolska aktivnost pod vodstvom udruga, različitih institucija i organizacija. Nažalost, likovne radionice nailaze na različite prepreke. One ovise o dobroj volji osobe koja bi ih pokrenula, a zatim o interesu potencijalnih polaznika, njihovih roditelja te o dostupnosti adekvatnog prostora za njihovo održavanje. Rad uključuje praktične primjere likovnih radionica pod okriljem udruge Mala akademija umjetnosti Ernestinovo (MAUE) . Od 2018. godine MAUE radi na promicanju umjetnosti, kreativnosti i likovnog izražavanja među djecom i mladima na području općine Ernestinovo. Svojim radom doprinosi osobnom razvoju svojih polaznika, ali i razvoju lokalne, inače ruralne zajednice, kroz razne projekte, akcije i umjetničke intervencije. This thesis explores the possibilities and potential of art workshops as a form of continuous learning in the student's free time. In the school curriculum, the subject of Arts has been reduced to only one hour per week. This fact contributes to the marginalization of our understanding of art and culture and its importance in the development of children and young people. Art positively affects the psychomotor development of children, develops creativity and emotional intelligence. In order not to lose on these positive factors due to the insufficient time in schools, we are forced to find alternatives. One good alternative is art workshops because they provide an additional opportunity to develop artistic expression and creativity. They open up additional time and space for getting to know arts and culture. They can be extracurricular activities under the auspices of the school or extracurricular activities led by associations, various institutions and organizations. Unfortunately, art workshops encounter various obstacles. They depend on the goodwill of the person who would primarily initiate them, and on the interest of potential participants. If the workshop attendees are children then the workshop also depends on the good will of their parents. This thesis includes practical examples of art workshops under the auspices of the association Small Academy of Art Ernestinovo (MAUE). Since 2018, MAUE has been working to promote art, creativity and artistic expression among children and youth in the Ernestinovo municipality. Through their work, they contribute to the personal development of their participants, but also aid the development of the local, otherwise rural community through various projects, actions and artistic interventions.

Omladinske radne akcije organiziraju se tijekom i nakon Drugog svjetskog rata u Jugoslaviji pod okriljem omladinske organizacije. Glavni cilj bio je obnoviti i izgraditi državu koja je bila pogođena ratnim razaranjima, no ne manje važan cilj bio je povezati mlade iz raznih krajeva zemlje promovirajući ideju bratstva i jedinstva, sloge i solidarnosti. Omladinci i omladinke bili su okupljeni u omladinske radne brigade i smješteni u brigadirskim naseljima. Uvjeti života i rada s godinama su se mijenjali te su sve važnije mjesto zauzimali zabava i korisnim sadržajima ispunjeno slobodno vrijeme. Rad kao primjere navodi neke od najvećih akcija poput izgradnje Autoceste bratstva i jedinstva te željezničkih pruga Brčko-Banovići, Šamac-Sarajevo i Beograd-Bar. Osim literature, rad se oslanja na dva intervjua vođena metodom usmene povijesti. Youth labour actions were organized during and after the Second World War in Yugoslavia under the auspices of the youth organization. The main goal was to reconstruct and build a country that was destroyed by war, but no less important goal was to connect young people from different parts of the country by promoting the idea of brotherhood and unity, harmony and solidarity. Youth was gathered in youth labour brigades and accommodated in brigadier camps. Living and working conditions changed over the years, and entertainment and free time filled with useful content took an increasingly important place. The thesis brings as examples some of the largest actions such as the construction of the Highway of Brotherhood and Unity and the Brčko-Banovići, Šamac-Sarajevo and Belgrade-Bar railways. In addition to the bibliography, the thesis relies on two interviews done by the oral history method.

Škole, udruge i institucije učenicima omogućavaju da svoje slobodno vrijeme provode kvalitetno i organizirano u okviru izvannastavnih i izvanškolskih aktivnosti. Pomoću njih učenici upoznavaju svoju kreativnost te im je omogućeno stvaralaštvo. Također, u okviru izvannastavnih i izvanškolskih aktivnosti djeca i mladi se osjećaju slobodnije, kreativnije te su uključeni u planiranje svoje željene aktivnosti. Kreativan učitelj i voditelj omogućuje i daje prostor učenicima da razviju svoju kreativnost, ostvare svoje ideje te ih potiče na razvoj stvaralačkih mogućnosti. Važno je naučiti djecu i mlade samostalno planirati svoje slobodno vrijeme, ali u tom procesu potrebna im je i pomoć roditelja. Razne su izvannastavne i izvanškolske aktivnosti u koje se mogu uključiti djeca i mladi, a neke od njih su i iz područja glazbe. Tako će se u okviru ovoga rada prikazati izvannastavne i izvanškolske glazbene aktivnosti koje su zasigurno u funkciji cjelovitog razvoja učenika. Schools, associations, and institutions enable students to spend their free time in a quality and organized manner within the framework of extracurricular and out-of-school activities. Using them, students get to know their creativity and are enabled to be creative. Also, within extracurricular and out-of-school activities, children and young people feel freer, and more creative and are involved in planning their desired activities. A creative teacher and leader enable and gives space to students to develop their creativity, realize their ideas, and encourage them to develop creative possibilities. It is important to teach children and young people to plan their free time independently, but in this process, they also need the help of their parents. There are various extracurricular and out-of-school activities in which children and young people can be involved, i.e. some of them are also in the field of music. Thus, in the framework of this work, extracurricular and out-of-school musical activities will be presented, which are certainly in the function of the complete development of students.

Svatko se pojedinačno mora snalaziti u stvarnom životu i svakodnevnim situacijama. Svatko je odgovoran za sebe, no kako će se snaći u tim životnim situacijama ovisi isključivo o njegovoj spremnosti i pripremi za život, o odgoju. Malo dijete nije sposobno samo se suočavati sa svijetom, obitelj je ta koja ga mora podići na noge i postepeno uvoditi i usmjeravati ga na pravi put. Osim obitelji postoje i druge odgojne sredine na koje rodititelji imaju utjecaja u manjoj ili većoj mjeri. Roditelji mogu kvalitetno pripremiti dijete za društvo koje se neprestano mijenja. Uloga funkcionalnih sredina, u razvoju djeteta je velika. Cilj rada je dati odgovor na to kako roditelji mogu pomoći djetetu te u kojoj mjeri mogu utjecati na kvalitetniji razvoj u funkcionalnim sredinama. Na temelju provedenog istraživanja zaključujemo da se većina rodtelja slaže da mediji i vršnjaci imaju snažan utjecaj na socijalni i emocionalni razvoj djeteta te da je potrebno odgojno i obrazovno djelovati i u tom području razvoja djeteta. Everyone has to deal with real life and everyday situations individually. Everyone is responsible for himself, but how he will manage in these life situations depends solely on his readiness and preparation for life, on upbringing. A small child is not capable of facing the world alone, it is the family that has to lift him up and gradually introduce and guide him on the right path. In addition to the family, there are other educational environments on which parents have an influence to a greater or lesser extent. Parents can prepare a child well for a society that is constantly changing. The role of functional environments in child development is great. The aim of the paper is to answer how parents can help the child and to what extent they can influence better quality development in functional environments. Based on the conducted research, we conclude that the majority of parents agree that the media and peers have a strong influence on the social and emotional development of the child and that it is necessary to take educational action in this area of the child's development as well.

Slobodno vrijeme postoji otkad postoje ĉovjek i civilizacija, a najjednostavnije reĉeno predstavlja ono vrijeme u kojem se pojedinac prepušta aktivnostima po vlastitom izboru. S druge strane, mentalno zdravlje predstavlja vaţan dio cjelokupnog zdravlja svakog pojedinca, a definira se kao stanje u kojem ĉovjek moţe ostvariti svoje potencijale, nositi se sa svakodnevnim ţivotnim stresovima te biti sposoban produktivno raditi i doprinositi svojoj zajednici. O odnosu slobodnog vremena i mentalnog zdravlja u struĉnoj literaturi malo toga se moţe pronaći. Ukoliko se i provode odreĊena istraţivanja na navedenu temu, većina njih ispituje povezanost bavljenja tjelesnim aktivnostima s mentalnim zdravljem. Stoga je glavni cilj upravo ovog istraţivanja bio ispitati utjecaj slobodnog vremena na mentalno zdravlje studenata Republike Hrvatske i Italije. U istraţivanju je sudjelovalo ukupno 139 studenata i studentica te je utvrĊeno da Hrvati više od Talijana, te studenti više od studentica posvećuju svoje slobodno vrijeme sportskim aktivnostima i hobijima. Osim toga, utvrĊena je i meĊusobna povezanost slobodnog vremena i mentalnog zdravlja i to u smislu da bolje utrošeno slobodno vrijeme bolje rezultira i boljim mentalnim zdravljem, Leisure time has existed since the existence of man and civilization, and in the simplest terms it represents the time in which an individual indulges in activities of his own choice. On the other hand, mental health is an important part of the overall health of every individual, and is defined as a state in which a person can realize his potential, deal with everyday life stresses and be able to productively work and contribute to his community. Not so many informations can be found in professional literature about the relationship between leisure time and mental health. If certain research is carried out on the mentioned topic, most of them examine the connection between engaging in physical activities and mental health. Therefore, the main goal of this research was to examine the impact of leisure time on the mental health of university students of the Republic of Croatia and Italy. In total, 139 male and female students participated in the research, and it was determined that Croatians more than Italians, and male students more than female students, dedicate their leisure time to sports activities and hobbies. In addition, the mutual connection between leisure time and mental health has been established, in the sense that better spent leisure time results in better mental health.

Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati učenike trećih i četvrtih razreda osnovne škole o načinima provođenja slobodnog vremena, zadovoljstvo roditelja ponudom sadržaja u lokalnoj i regionalnoj zajednici te njihove prijedloge za poboljšanje kvalitete slobodnog vremena djece. U istraživanju su sudjelovali učenici trećih i četvrtih razreda i njihovi roditelji. Rezultati su pokazali da većina učenika sudjeluje u izvannastavnim aktivnostima i to najviše iz sportsko-rekreacijskog i jezično-umjetničkog područja te sudjeluju i u izvanškolskim aktivnostima u kojima prevladavaju sportovi kao što su nogomet, odbojka, plivanje, gimnastika i sl. Učenici se u slobodno vrijeme najviše vole igrati s prijateljima/prijateljicama, a najdraža aktivnost s prijateljima je igra. Na skali od 1 do 10 učenici su većinom odabrali da igrice na računalu i mobitelu vole 5, a najdraža aktivnost s obitelji je šetnja. Nadalje, prema odgovorima roditelja može se zaključiti da roditelji nisu sasvim zadovoljni ponudom u lokalnoj i regionalnoj zajednici te bi se na temelju prijedloga roditelja trebalo poraditi na raznovrsnosti ponude što se tiče aktivnosti i sadržaja za djecu i prostorima za održavanje aktivnosti kao što su to dvorane, igrališta i centri. Između ostalog, jedan od prijedloga su i radionice s roditeljima kako bi se stvorila i ojačala komunikacija između škole i roditelja te kroz izlete, pokretanje zadataka, projekata i društveno odgovornih akcija. The aim of the research was to examine the third and fourth graders of elementary school about the ways of spending their free time, parents' satisfaction with the content offered in the local and regional community, and their suggestions for improving the quality of children's free time. Third and fourth grade students and their parents participated in the research. The results showed that most students participate in extracurricular activities, mostly in the sports-recreational and language-artistic fields, and they also participate in out-of-school activities in which sports such as football, volleyball, swimming, gymnastics, etc. predominate. In their free time, students mostly like to play with friends, and their favorite activity with friends is playing. On a scale from 1 to 10, most students chose that they like computer and cell phone games at 5, and their favorite activity with their family is going for a walk. Furthermore, according to the parents' answers, it can be concluded that parents are not completely satisfied with the offer in the local and regional community, and based on the parents' suggestions, work should be done on the diversity of the offer in terms of activities and content for children and spaces for holding activities such as gyms, playgrounds, and centers. Among other things, one of the suggestions are workshops with parents to create and strengthen communication between the school and parents through trips, starting tasks, projects, and socially responsible actions.

Škole u Republici Hrvatskoj su javne ustanove koje odgajaju i obrazuju djecu od šeste do petnaeste godine života. Obavezna je i besplatna za sve učenike. Suvremeni način današnjeg života obitelji i zajednice od škola traže veću aktivnost i angažiranost u odgoju i obrazovanju djece. Produženi boravak oblik je odgojno-obrazovnog rada u kojem su učenici nižih razreda osnovne škole. Ovaj oblik odgojno-obrazovnog rada organiziran je prije svega za učenike čiji su roditelji zaposleni. Sve više škola u Republici Hrvatskoj, koje su u mogućnosti (organizacijske, materijalne i stručne), uvode produženi boravak kao oblik odgojno-obrazovnog rada za učenike. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je intervjuiranjem učenika, polaznika produženog boravka, utvrditi razinu zadovoljstva, vole li više učenici produženi boravak od redovne nastave i što bi promijenili u produženom boravku. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju kako su učenici zadovoljni radom produženog boravka i načinom organizacije ovog odgojno-obrazovnog rada. Osim toga, djeca više vole produženi boravak jer su u njemu slobodniji, opušteniji i imaju na raspolaganju više slobodnog vremena kojeg sami osmišljavaju. Schools in the Republic of Croatia are public institutions which educate and nurture children from six to fifteen years of age. It is mandatory and free for all students. Because of the modern way of life, society and families ask for more engagement inupbringing and educating children. Extended stay in school is a form of educational work for students from the lower classes of elementary school. This form of educational work is primarily organized for students whose parents are employed. More and more schools in the Republic of Croatia, which are able to (considering finances, staff and other organisational aspects) are introducing extended stay like a form of educational work for students. The goal of this graduation thesis is, by interviewing students - attendees of the extended stay, to determine level of contentment, do students like extended stay more than regular classes and what they would change in the extended stay. The results of the research are showing how students are satisfied with the work of extended stay and the way of organization of this educational work. Besides that, children love extended stay more because they are relaxed and they have more time available which they design themselves.

Za suvremenog čovjeka planinarenje i rekreacija u prirodi predstavlja opuštanje i odmor od brojnih životnih i poslovnih obveza koje ga prate i koje doživljava u raznim životnim i poslovnim situacijama, od radnog mjesta, prometnih gužvi i nizom drugih obaveza. Vrste aktivnog odmora poput planinarenja i rekreativnog boravka u prirodi daje čovjeku priliku obnoviti svoju potrošenu energiju, koja mu je neophodna za daljnji rad i učenje. Odlazak u prirodu i bavljenje aktivnostima na svježem i čistom zraku čovjeka ispunjava novom snagom, zadovoljstvom i emocionalnom energijom unatoč uloženom fizičkom naporu. Kroz ovaj rad želi se naglasiti kako je primarni cilj i sadržaj planinarenja uživanje u ljepotama koju planine i priroda pružaju pri čemu se stvara sklad između fizičkih i mentalnih čovjekovih osobina koje se međusobno nadopunjuju. Baveći se planinarenjem postižemo kvalitetne osobine poput odlučnosti, snalažljivosti, ustrajnosti, samostalnosti, hrabrosti, prilagodljivosti, principijelnosti, požrtvovanosti, društvenosti, te razvijamo smisao za razumijevanje prirode i ljudi. Povrh toga, privikavamo postupno organizam za napore kojim poboljšavamo svoje fizičko i mentalno zdravlje. U ovom je radu opisano kako pravilna primjena rekreacijskih sadržaja u prirodi ima važnu ulogu u planinarstvu, a njena kvalitetna upotreba ovisi o razini naše svijesti i odgovornosti. For a modern man, hiking and recreation in nature represents relaxation and rest from numerous life and business obligations that accompany him and that he experiences in various life and business situations, from the workplace, traffic jams and a number of other obligations. Types of active vacations such as hiking and recreational stay in nature give a person the opportunity to renew his spent energy, which is necessary for further work and study. Going to nature and engaging in activities in the fresh and clean air fills a person with new strength, satisfaction and emotional energy despite the physical effort. Through this work, we want to emphasize that the primary goal and content of hiking is to enjoy the beauty that mountains and nature provide, while creating harmony between the physical and mental qualities of a person that complement each other. By doing mountaineering, we achieve quality qualities such as determination, resourcefulness, perseverance, independence, courage, adaptability, principledness, self-sacrifice, sociability, and develop a sense of understanding nature and people. On top of that, we gradually accustom the organism to the efforts by which we improve our physical and mental health. This paper describes how proper application plays an important role in mountaineering as a form of sports recreation in nature, and that the awareness and responsibility of each of us depends on its quality use.

Uključujući se u izvannastavne glazbene aktivnosti, učenici provode jedan dio svog slobodnog vremena u školi. Istovremeno razvijaju svoju darovitost kvalitetno provodeći vrijeme uz stručno vodstvo učitelja. Na početku školske godine potrebno je upoznati učenike s mogućnošću uključivanja u izvannastavne aktivnosti i potaknuti ih da sukladno svojim interesima odaberu one aktivnosti koje ih najviše zanimaju. Tijekom sudjelovanja u izvannastavnim glazbenim aktivnostima učenici stječu glazbena znanja i umijeća te bogate svoj dječji glazbeni život. Za kvalitetno provođenje glazbenih aktivnosti ključno je stručno vodstvo od strane učitelja. Proučavanje literature koja govori o izvannastavnim aktivnostima i darovitim učenicima polazište je za pisanje ovoga rada. Cilj je rada pojasniti važnost razvijanja glazbene darovitosti kod učenika razredne nastave kroz izvannastavne glazbene aktivnosti i definirati kompetencije koje učitelj treba imati za provođenje navedenih aktivnosti. By getting involved in extracurricular musical activities, students spend part of their free time at school. At the same time, they develop their gift by spending quality time with the professional guidance of the teacher. At the beginning of the school year, it is necessary to introduce students to the possibility of involvement in extracurricular activities and encourage them to choose the activities that interest them most, according to their interests. During participation in extracurricular musical activities, students acquire musical knowledge and skills and enrich their children's musical life. Professional guidance by the teacher is essential for the quality implementation of musical activities. Studying the literature that talks about extracurricular activities and gifted students is the starting point for writing this paper. The aim of the work is to clarify the importance of developing musical talent of elementary school students through extracurricular musical activities and to define the competencies that a teacher should have in order to carry out the aforementioned activities.

37. Pedagogical determinants of family reading and storytelling

Aktivnosti slobodnog vremena obitelji promijenile su se kroz vrijeme. Mnoštvo obveza, užurbani način života te razni zahtjevi današnjice pred obitelji stavljaju brojne prepreke. Jedna od njih je i sve manja zastupljenost obiteljskog čitanja i pričanja priča. Zbog toga, u ovom radu cilj je istražiti učestalost obiteljskog čitanja i pričanja priča unutar zajedničkog slobodnog vremena obitelji. Provedeno je kvantitativno istraživanje u kojem je sudjelovalo 167 roditelja djece vrtićke, predškolske i osnovnoškolske dobi. Nakon prikupljanja podataka korištena je deskriptivna analiza. Rezultati su pokazali da 41,4% roditelja djeci čita ili priča priče jednom/više puta dnevno. Također, 61,1% roditelja od 30 do 47 godina čitaju ili pričaju priče djeci jednom/više puta dnevno. Također, tu aktivnost čine roditelji fakultetske naobrazbe u 22,5% više slučajeva nego roditelji srednjoškolske naobrazbe. Čak 68,8% roditelja čita ili priča priče jednom/više puta dnevno djeci mlađoj od jedne godine. Nadalje, dnevni raspored roditelja nije povezan s učestalosti te aktivnosti, a više od 69% roditelja smatra ju važnom i uživa u njoj. No, 27% roditelja smatra da joj zbog svakodnevnih obveza ne uspijeva posvetiti dovoljno vremena. Rezultati su također pokazali da roditelji kojima se u djetinjstvu češće čitalo ili pričalo priče, imaju višu naobrazbu te češće provode tu aktivnost sa svojom djecom. Family leisure activities have changed over time. Many obligations, hectic lifestyle and various demands of today put many obstacles in front of families. One of them is the declining representation of family reading and storytelling. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to investigate the frequency of family reading and storytelling within the shared free time of the family. A quantitative study was conducted in which participated 167 parents of kindergarten, preschool and primary school children. After data collection, descriptive analysis was used. The results showed that 41.4% of parents read or tell stories to their children once/several times a day. Also, 61.1% of parents aged 30 to 47 read or tell stories to their children once/several times a day. Also, this activity consists of university educated parents in 22.5% more cases than parents of secondary education. 68.8% of parents read or tell stories once/several times a day to children under one year of age. Furthermore, the daily schedule of parents is not related to the participation of this activity. Also, more than 69% of parents think it is important and enjoy it. Still, 27% of her parents feel unability to devote enough time to reading or storytelling. The results also showed that parents who were more likely to read or tell stories with their parents had a higher education and were more likely to carry out this activity with their children.

38. Quality of Life of Young People Living on the Island of Hvar: Sociological Research

Tema sociološkog istraţivanja ovog diplomskog rada je kvaliteta ţivota mladih na otoku Hvaru. Rad je podijeljen u nekoliko cjelina. Prvu cjelinu predstavlja teorijski dio gdje smo predstavili neke ključne pojmove relevantne za istraţivanje, a oni su koncept kvalitete ţivota u sociologiji, specifičnost mladih kao društvene skupine te posljednje, mladi na hrvatskim otocima. U idućoj cjelini smo pojasnili metodologiju istraţivanja, a to uključuje predmet, cilj istraţivanja, istraţivačka pitanja, uzorak, mjerni instrument te postupak provedbe istraţivanja. Kao metoda prikupljanja podataka u ovom kvalitativnom istraţivanju se koristio polustrukturirani intervju, a uzorkovanje je provedeno metodom snjeţne grude. U istraţivanju je sudjelovalo 30 sugovornika/ca u dobi od 18 do 34 godine. Svi sugovornici/ce prebivaju na otoku Hvaru. Proces intervjuiranja je trajao od veljače do sredine svibnja 2022. godine. Svi razgovori su snimani i s pristankom sugovornika/ca su transkribirani kako bi se ti transkripti mogli analizirati za potrebe istraţivanja. Analiza podataka je pokazala da većina sugovornika ima završen srednjoškolski stupanj obrazovanja te su preteţito zadovoljni svojim obrazovanje. Za sugovornike sa završenim ili u procesu završavanja visokoškolskog obrazovanja traţenje posla u struci na otoku je problem zbog nedostatka radnih mjesta u područjima van turizma. Većina naših sugovornika radi u turizmu, i najveći broj njih radi isključivo tijekom sezone, no zadovoljni su svojim profesionalnim statusom. U pogledu slobodnog vremena, istaknuta je razlika u količini slobodnog vremena s kojom mladi na otoku Hvaru raspolaţu zimi u odnosu na ljeto - zimi imaju previše, a ljeti premalo slobodnog vremena. Većina ih nije zadovoljna ponudom sadrţaja za provoĎenje slobodnog vremena na otoku te smatraju da fali sadrţaja primjerenog mladima, posebno u periodu van turističke sezone. Na turizam naši sugovornici gledaju kao nešto pozitivno, a najveće prednosti ţivota na otoku tijekom sezone za njih su mogućnost zarade, zaposlenja i bogata ponuda sadrţaja za mlade ljeti. Najveći nedostatci su nedostatak slobodnog vremena, posljedice party turizma i poskupljenje ţivotnog standarda. U ţivotu mladih na otoku zimi je pozitivno uţivanje u prirodi i mir, ali nedostaje sadrţaja i društvenog ţivota na otoku. Razlozi zbog kojih mladi najčešće odlaze na kopno su posjeta liječniku ili zubaru, kupovina ili zabava. Naši sugovornici su podijeljeni oko odluke o ostanku ili odlasku s otoka, no najveći broj njih ipak ţeli ostati na otoku. Razlozi za to su ljubav prema rodnom mjestu, posao na otoku i obitelj. Najčešći razlog naveden za odlazak s otoka je problem nedostatka posla van turističkog sektora na otoku., The topic of the sociological research for this master's thesis is the quality of life of youth on the island of Hvar. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part is theory where we presented some key concepts relevant for this research, and that includes the concept of the quality of life in sociology, the specificity of youth as a social group and finally, youth on croatian islands. In the next part we explained the methodology of the research, which includes the subject, the purpose of the research, research questions, the sample, the measuring instrument and the procedure of the implementation of the research. We used a semi-structured interview as a method of gathering data and the snowball method for sampling. The research included 30 participants from the ages of 18 to 34. All participants reside on the island of Hvar. The interviewing process was conducted from February until the middle of May 2022. All interviews were taped and transcribed after obtaining consent from the participants, so the transcripts could be analyzed for the purpose of research. Our data analysis showed that most of our participants have finished a secondary education and they are mostly pleased with their education. Those that have a finished tertiary or are in a process of obtaining it have a problem with finding work in their respective fields on the island, due to shortage of work in fields besides tourism. Most of our participants work in tourism and most of them work only during the tourist season period, but they are pleased with their professional status. There is a difference in the amount of leisure time young people living on the island have during winter and during summer and the tourist season – in the winter they have too much of it, in the summer too little. For our participants, tourism is a positive thing for the island, and the biggest perks of living on Hvar during the tourist season are financial gain, possibility of employment and various content available for young people. Biggest shortcomings include the lack of leisure time, the consequences of party tourism and rising living standards. The perks of living on the island in the winter are enjoying nature and peace, but there are shortcomings such as lack of content for youth and lack of social life on the island. Reasons for leaving the island and going to the shore are most commonly a visit to the doctor or a dentist, shopping or entertainment. Our participants are divided on the question of staying on or leaving the island of Hvar, but the largest number of them want to remain on the island. Some reasons that influenced their decision to stay include love for their hometown, a job on the island or family. The biggest reason listed for leaving is the problem of finding work outside of tourism.

Cilj ovog rada je istražiti koliko mladi vole i žele čitati u svoje slobodno vrijeme. Uza sve preporuke, teoriju i smjernice koje knjižnice, knjižare, roditelji i učitelji žele prenijeti mladima, koliko informacija zapravo dopire do njih i jesu li im usmjerene na pravi način. Jesu li im društvene mreže zaokupile cijeli prostor slobodnog vremena ili im otvorile kanale za lakše praćenje interesnih područja. Mladi kao skupina u sivoj zoni između djece i odraslih podižu vlastiti bunt i smjernice koje su im potrebne, a koje često prati pojava i razvoj novih medija. Teorijski dio koji rad obuhvaća odnosi se na povijesni pregled, definiranje mladih kao skupine, te poticanje čitanja. Nakon toga spominje se svrha knjižničnih usluga za mladež i kultura čitanja na internetu, te platforme koje se tamo nalaze i što nude svojim korisnicima. Rad će se dotaknuti i fan fiction djela, o kojima će biti pitanja i u istraživačkom djelu. No, prije toga, spomenuti će se primjeri dobre prakse poticanja čitanja u Hrvatskoj nakon čega slijedi istraživanje. Anketu, tj. upitnik istraživanja ispunjavali su učenici srednjih škola u Samoboru. Anketa se može podijeliti na dva dijela. Prvo o želji za čitanjem i drugo o tome kako su oni zadovoljni sa svojim lokalnim tj. mjesnim knjižnicama. U istraživanju se tražilo stajalište mladih o tome vole li čitati, što najradije čitaju i kako biraju to štivo. Čitaju li fanfiction djela, koliko vremena provode na društvenim mrežama, te jesu li čitali više za vrijeme lockdowna. Odgovarali su na pitanja što najviše vole raditi u svoje slobodno vrijeme, te što misle da bi trebalo promijeniti u njihovim knjižnicama. The main goal of this paper is to explore how much young people love and want to read in their spare time. With all the recommendations, theory, and guidelines that libraries, bookstores, parents and teachers want to transmit to young people, how much information actually reaches them and whether it is directed to them in the right way. Have social media taken up all their free time or have they opened channels to easily follow their interests. Young people as a group are in the gray zone between children and adults, so they raise their own rebellion and the guidelines they need, which are often accompanied by the emergence and development of new media. The theoretical part of the paper is referencing to the historical overview, defining young people as a group, the importance of information literacy, and encouraging reading in general. After that, the purpose of library services for young people and the culture of reading on the internet is mentioned, as well as the platforms that are located there and what they offer to their users. The paper will also broach the subject of fan fiction works, which will be discussed in the research work. However, before that, examples of good practice of encouraging reading in Croatia will be mentioned, followed by research. The survey, i.e. the research questionnaire, was filled out by high school students in Samobor. The survey can be divided into two parts. The first part defines the desire to read and second part, determines how satisfied they are with their local libraries. The research sought the opinion of young people about whether they like to read, what they like to read and how they choose to read. Are they reading fanfiction works, how much time do they spend on social media, and did they read more during the lockdown? They answered questions about what they like doing most on their spare time, and what do they think should change in their libraries.

U radu se donose rezultati istraživanja koje je provedeno s ciljem prikazivanja ponude izvannastavnih glazbenih aktivnosti na području Virovitičko-podravske županije. Provedeno je kvantitativno istraživanje na temelju dostupnih kurikuluma na službenim stranicama škola Virovitičko-podravske županije. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo šesnaest osnovnih škola s područja županije. Rezultati pokazuju kako je umjetnčko područje kurikuluma najzastupljenije područje u ponudi izvannastavnih aktivnosti. Ponuda izvannastavnih glazbenih aktivnosti na području županije oskudna je. Od izvannastavnih glazbenih aktivnosti najzastupljenija aktivnost je zbor i njegove varijacije, razne folklorne i instrumentalne skupine. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako je ponuda izvannastavnih glazbenih aktivnosti veća u školama u manjim mjestima, nego u gradskim školama. The work presents the results of a research conducted with the aim of presenting the offer of extracurricular musical activities in schools of Virovitica-Podravina County. Quantitative research was carried out based on the curricula available on the official internet sites of schools of Virovitica-Podravina County. Sixteen primary schools from county area were involved in the study. The results show that the artistic field of the curricula is the most represented one among extracurricular activities. The offer of extracurricular musical activities in the County is rather poor. Choir and its variations, various folklore and instrumental groups are the most popular extracurricular musical activities. The research has shown that the offer of extracurricular musical activities is higher in schools situated in small places than in urban schools.

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je dostupnost muzeja djeci predškolske i ranoškolske dobi. Muzeji su mjesta povijesti, a povijest prema Ciceru, je učiteljica života. „Historia est magistra vitae“ (Cicero, De Oratore, II 46. pr. Kr.) je izreka koja prenosi ideju da proučavanje prošlosti treba poslužiti kao lekcija budućnosti. Kabineti čuda, muzeji na svoj šarmantan i koristan način postaju dragocjene institucije koje kulturi vraćaju dignitet i nadu u trajanje. Zaduženi su za očuvanje i promicanje prirodnog i kulturnog nasljeđa, zato je važno muzejske sadržaje učiniti dostupnima svim društvenim skupinama i onda odrasle, ali i djecu, upoznati na zanimljiv i interaktivan način s muzejskim svijetom, prostorom i kulturološkim vrijednostima. U današnjici, potreba za znanjem je velika, jer ono daje sigurnost i otvara nam razna vrata, zapravo otvaramo mi sami ulažući trud i snagu u to, da sami sebe konstantno učimo i poboljšavamo. Istraživanje je provedeno metodom polustrukturiranog intervjua i metodom analize teksta. U istraživanju su sudjelovale odgojiteljice DV Sunce i Radost te učiteljice razredne nastave iz dvije zadarske osnovne škole. The subject of this thesis is the accessibility of the museum to children of preschool and early school age. Museums are places of history according to Cicero, a teacher of life. "Historia est magistra vitae" (Cicero, De Oratore, II 46 BC) is a saying that conveys the idea that the study of the past should serve as a lesson for the future. Cabinets of miracles, museums, in their charming and useful way, become precious institutions that restore dignity and hope for longevity of culture. They are in charge of preserving and promoting natural and cultural heritage, that is why it is important to make museum contents available to all social groups and then introduce adults, but also children, to the museum world, space and cultural values in an interesting and interactive way. In today's world, the need for knowledge is great, because it gives us security and it opens various doors for us, in fact we open them ourselves by putting effort and strength into it, to constantly learn and improve ourselves. The research was conducted using a semi-structured interview method and a text analysis method. Preschool teachers Sunce and Radost and classroom teachers from two elementary schools in Zadar participated in the research.

Razdoblje korona virusa, u kojemu se svi nalazimo, primoralo nas je na život pun tehnologije. Takav način života ostavio je trag i na životu djece jer je tehnologija, više nego ranije, postala sastavni dio njihova života. Osim u svrhu zabave, tehnologija je na velika vrata ušla i u obrazovni sustav. Današnji načini dječje zabave podrazumijevaju mobitele, računala, igraće konzole i internet te se veliki dio njihova društvena života preselio u virtualne svjetove. Cilj ovog istraživanja je utvrditi koje vrste računalnih igara igraju učenici razredne nastave, što im je bitno pri odabiru istih, koliko vremena provode igrajući i je li im bitno koje računalne igre igraju njihovi vršnjaci. Istraživanje je provedeno među učenicima trećih i četvrtih razreda Katoličke osnovne škole u Požegi tijekom školske godine 2021./2022. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 44 učenika trećih razreda i 31 učenik četvrtih razreda. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako učenici u velikom broju posjeduju vlastiti mobitel te upravo na njemu najčešće igraju igrice. Učenici su svjesni da dosta vremena provode za računalom, te su svjesni i činjenice da njihovi roditelji ne odobravaju količinu vremena koju provode igrajući. Puno učenika smatra kako im vrijeme za računalom ne pomaže u stvaranju novih prijateljstava. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju i koje računalne igrice se najčešće igraju, te postoje li razlike u odgovorima prema spolu i dobi učenika. Na temelju PEGI oznake za svaku navedenu igricu, utvrđeno je kako učenici na mobilnim uređajima igraju igrice s vrlo blagim prisustvom nasilja, na računalu igraju igrice s više nasilja, dok na igraćim konzolama igraju igrice s puno nasilja. Osim rezultata vezanih uz igranja igrica, ovo istraživanje daje uvid u podatke o pristupu učenika računalima, igraćim konzolama i mobilnim uređajima, te je li im vrijeme za računalima ograničeno i mogu li se njime služiti kada god požele. The era of the corona virus, in which we all find ourselves, has forced us to live a life full of technology. Such a way of life left a mark on children's lives as well, because technology, more than before, has become an integral part of their lives. In addition to entertainment, technology has also entered the education system to a large extent. Today's ways of children's entertainment include cell phones, computers, game consoles and the Internet, and a large part of their social life has moved into virtual worlds. The aim of this research is to determine what types of computer games are played by pupils in lower grades of elementary school, what is important to them when choose them, how much time they spend playing and whether it is important to them which computer games their peers play. The research was conducted among pupils of the third and fourth grades of the Catholic elementary school in Požega during the 2021./2022. school year. 44 pupils from third grade and 31 from fourth grade participated in this research. The results of the research showed that a large number of pupils have their own cell phone and that they most often play games on it. Pupils are aware that they spend a lot of time playing games, and they are also aware of the fact that their parents do not approve of the amount of time they spend playing. A lot of pupils feel that their time at the computer does not help them to make new friendships. The results of the research also show which computer games are played most often, and whether there are differences in the answers according to the gender and age of the pupils. Based on the PEGI label for each listed game, it was determined that pupils play games on mobile devices with a very mild presence of violence, on computers they play games with more violence, while on game consoles they play games with a lot of violence. In addition to the results related to playing games, this research provides insight into the data on pupils' access to computers, game consoles and mobile devices, and whether their computer time is limited and whether they can use it whenever they want.

U današnje vrijeme prisutan je trend starenja stanovništva i iz tog razloga javlja se veliki broj istraživanja koja u prvom planu imaju osobe treće životne dobi. Osobe treće životne dobi susreću se s raznim životnim promjenama i drugačijim načinom života. Ulaskom u mirovinu imaju više slobodnog vremena nego što su imali dok su bili u radnom odnosu. Ovo istraživanje orijentirano je upravo na načine provođenja slobodnog vremena osoba treće životne dobi. Cilj je ovoga istraživanja ispitati načine provođenja slobodnog vremena osoba treće životne dobi na selu i u gradu. Istraživanje je obuhvatilo 6 ispitanika od kojih je troje iz grada, a troje sa sela. Ispitanici su osobe treće životne dobi, odnosno osobe starije od 65 godina. Instrument je istraživanja intervju jer se smatra najprikladnijim izvorom podataka za ovo istraživanje. Ispitanicima je postavljeno deset pitanja vezanih uz način provođenja slobodnog vremena. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako nema velike razlike u načinu provođenja slobodnog vremena osoba treće životne dobi na selu i u gradu. Također, pokazalo je kako se ispitanici većinom bave nestrukturiranim aktivnostima slobodnog vremena, ali i da su uglavnom zadovoljni ponuđenim aktivnostima slobodnog vremena u svom životnom okruženju. Ovakva su istraživanja važna jer je potrebno osobe treće životne dobi sve više uključivati u zajednicu. The trend of aging society is nowadays the reason why there is a large number of surveys which focus on senior citizens. Senior citizens face various life changes and a new lifestyle. After retiring, they have more leisure time and their life is different than it used to be while they were employed. This survey focuses mainly on the ways that senior citizens spend their leisure time. Therefore, the aim of this survey is to compare the difference between the ways senior citizens who live in the cities and senior citizens who live in the villages spend their leisure time. Six examinees took part in this survey, three of which live in the city, while other three live in the village. All the examinees belong to the group of senior citizens, which means that their age is above 65. The research instrument is an interview, which is thought to be the most appropriate data source. The research included 10 questions about the ways people spend their leisure time. The survey has shown that there are no major differences between the ways senior citizens spend their leisure time, depending on whether they live in the city or in the village. Furthermore, it has been shown that all the examinees prefer unstructured activities in their leisure time, as well as that they are mostly satisfied with the activities they can choose from in the area they live in. This type of survey is considered to be very important, since it is crucial to include senior citizens in the local community.

Slobodno vrijeme predstavlja vrijeme u kojem smo oslobođeni svih obaveza te ga planiramo samostalno i služi nam za zadovoljenje vlastitih potreba. Osim što nam služi za odmor i razonodu, možemo ga iskoristiti i za kulturni, intelektualni, ali i obrazovni rast. Upravo su izvannastavne i izvanfakultetske aktivnosti jedan od načina kojim to možemo i ostvariti. O slobodnom vremenu učenika u osnovnim i srednjim školama postoje mnogobrojna istraživanja, no nedostaju istraživanja o slobodnom vremenu studenata. Zbog toga se ovaj rad temelji na istraživanju provedenom među studentima Sveučilišta Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku. Proučena literatura daje definicije te objašnjenja ključnih pojmova, a to su slobodno vrijeme, izvannastavne i izvanfakultetske aktivnosti te kvaliteta provedbe slobodnog vremena. Također, proučena su i dosadašnja slična istraživanja. U empirijskom je dijelu rada provedeno istraživanje online anketom o samoprocjeni studenata o kvaliteti provedbe slobodnog vremena, a u istraživanju je sudjelovalo 140 studenata različitih sastavnica Sveučilišta Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku. Cilj je istraživanja bio utvrditi samoprocjenu studenata o kvaliteti provedbe vlastitog slobodnog vremena. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako se studentice češće uključuju u izvannastavne te izvanfakultetske aktivnosti nego studenti. Također je utvrđeno kako se uključenost studenata u navedene aktivnosti razlikuje među pojedinim sastavnicama Sveučilišta. Nadalje je utvrđeno da studenti samoprocjenjuju kako su zadovoljni kvalitetom provedbe vlastitog slobodnog vremena. Free time represents the time in which we are released of all commitments, and we're planning it on our own and it serves the purpose of statisfying our own needs. While we use it for resting and leisure, we can use it for cultural, intellectual and educational growth. Extracurricular acivities are one of the ways in which we can accomplish that. There is a lot of research about elementary and secondary students' free time, but there is lack of research about university students' free time. Consequently, this paper is based on research done among students of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek. Studied literature gives definitions and explanations of key terms, and these terms are free time, extracurricular activities and quality of free time usage. Likewise, previous similar research has been studied. In the empirical part of this paper, research has been conducted via online questionnare about students' self evaluation about quality of free time usage, where 140 students of different sections of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek participated. Aim of the study was to establish students' self assessment regarding quality of free time usage. Results of this study showed that female students engage more in extracurricular activities than male students. Also, it has been established that students' engagement differs between different parts of the university, furthermore, it has been established that students assess that they are content with the quality of their free time usage.

Adolescencija predstavlja prijelazno razdoblje u čovjekovu životu, to je vrijeme fizičkih, ali i psihičkih promjena kada osoba sazrijeva u odraslu osobu. Veliki utjecaj na adolescente u tom razdoblju imaju mediji koji su sveprisutni te mogu imati štetne posljedice po mladu osobu ukoliko se ne koriste na odgovarajući način. Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati navike učenika na društvenim mrežama tijekom provođenja slobodnog vremena. Problemi istraživanja usmjereni su na istraživanje učestalosti korištenja određenih medija, utvrđivanju sklonosti mladih pojedinim medijskim idolima, utvrđivanju korelacije između rizičnih ponašanja adolescenata i medijskih idola koje prate putem društvenih mreža te stjecanju uvida u vrijednosti adolescenata. Istraživanje je provedeno u travnju 2022. godine pomoću anketnog upitnika na uzorku od 155 učenika dvije osnovne i jedne srednje škole. Raspon dobi učenika kretao se od 13 do 17 godina. Utvrđene su statistički značajne razlike između sklonosti prema medijskim idolima s obzirom na spol, dob i vrstu škole te sklonost rizičnom ponašanju s obzirom na broj braće, dob i vrstu škole. Korelacijskom analizom utvrđene su povezanosti između rizičnih ponašanja i utjecaja određenih medijskih idola, određenih vrijednosti i školskog uspjeha te materijalnog statusa. Također, slabije korištenje tradicionalnih medija i Facebooka, u odnosu na internet i društvene mreže kao što su Instagram, TikTok i Youtube. Veliki je utjecaj medija u slobodnom vremenu adolescenata, stoga je važno voditi računa o kvalitetnoj organizaciji slobodnovremenskih aktivnosti, usmjeravanju ka kritičkom mišljenju te odgovornom korištenju društvenih mreža, ali i medija u cjelini.

- Abstract
Purpose. The purpose of this paper is to raise awareness about the importance of the library space as the place for reading in leisure time. Methodology: The method used in the research is a benchmarking analysis of library management and services, conducted on two comparable public libraries, the Pula City Library and Reading Room in Croatia and the Rovaniemi City Library in Finland, in order to determine the factors which influence reading in the library in leisure time. Findings: The results have shown that the Finnish library community is exceptionally well aware in regrading library space as a service, while the Pula City Library, thanks to the wholehearted engagement of its librarians, has recently been recognized as a considerable potential for raising awareness of the usefulness of library space utilization. Originality/value: In Croatian public libraries thinking about space as a service, the main purpose of which is spending leisure time reading in the library, has not been recognized enough. In order to follow global trends in librarianship and give an answer to the challenges of the contemporary library management, which include spending leisure time reading in library, raising awareness about the importance of planning and designing of the library space and the functionality of the interior is the fundamental contribution of the paper. 48. Utilising Modern Technologies and some Indicators of Mental Health in Pre-school Children in Croatia

Although a number of studies have been conducted over the past decade on the association between screen time and developmental outcomes in children, most studies mainly deal with the problem of obesity and physical fitness of children, while the studies on the association of screen time and mental health are rare, and there is especially a lack of research concerning internalized problems in children. Early detection of psychological problems is one of the foundations of later successful prevention and treatment, and some research shows that as many as 20% of children, including kindergarten children, exhibit certain psychological difficulties, and also that certain behaviours of preschool children are associated with various mental disorders and problems in adulthood. The aim of this research was to examine the correlation between total screen time and some indicators of the mental health of children - emotional reactivity, anxiety/depression, somatic problems, withdrawal, sleeping problems, attention problems, and other problems, in a sample of Croatian children attending kindergartens. We also examined moderating effects of child’s involvement in other activities, such as physical activity, playing with peers, overall outdoor activities, and time spent in other activities. In this paper, potential risk and protective factors related to screen time were investigated in preschool children, with a focus on their mental health., Iako je tijekom proteklog desetljeća proveden niz studija o povezanosti vremena provedenim pred zaslonom s ishodom razvoja djece, većina studija uglavnom se bavi problemom pretilosti i tjelesne sposobnosti djece, dok su tek rijetke studije ispitivale povezanost vremena provedenog uz zaslone i mentalnog zdravlja, a posebno nedostaje istraživanja koja se tiču internaliziranih problema djece. Rano otkrivanje psiholoških problema jedan je od temelja uspješne prevencije i liječenja, a neka istraživanja pokazuju da čak 20% djece, uključujući i djecu vrtićke dobi, pokazuje određene psihološke poteškoće, te da su određena ponašanja predškolske djece povezana s raznim mentalnim poremećajima i problemima u odrasloj dobi. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati korelaciju između ukupnog vremena provedenog uz zaslone i nekih pokazatelja mentalnog zdravlja djece - emocionalne reaktivnosti, anksioznosti / depresije, somatskih problema, povlačenja, problema sa spavanjem, problema s pažnjom i drugih problema, u uzorku Hrvatske djeca koja pohađaju vrtiće. Također smo ispitali moderirajuće učinke uključenosti djeteta u druge aktivnosti, kao što su tjelesna aktivnost, igranje s vršnjacima, ukupne aktivnosti na otvorenom i vrijeme provedeno u drugim aktivnostima. U ovom su radu istraženi potencijalni rizični i zaštitni čimbenici povezani sa vremenom provedenim uz zaslone u djece predškolske dobi s naglaskom na njihovo mentalno zdravlje.

Obitelj je temeljna jedinica društva u kojoj započinje proces ljudskog razvoja i oblikovanja mladog čovjeka. Odlučujuću ulogu u odgoju imaju roditelji. Stoga je na roditeljima briga o kvaliteti provođenja slobodnog vremena obitelji. Slobodno vrijeme se razumijeva različito ovisno o znanstvenom području koje ga proučava, no često se tumači kao vrijeme u kojem je pojedinac potpuno slobodan i kad vrijeme može ispunjavati i oblikovati prema vlastitim željama. Cilj ovog rada jest ispitati, analizirati te interpretirati načine na koji osnovnoškolci provode slobodno vrijeme u krugu obitelji iz perspektive roditelja. U svrhu ostvarivanja cilja, a na temelju postavljenih hipoteza istraţivanja, izrađen je anketni upitnik. Prema dobivenim rezultatima, osnovnoškolci slobodno vrijeme u krugu obitelji najčešće provode u aktivnostima kod kuće (kućanski poslovi, uređivanje vrta ili okućnice, zajednička priprema jela i slično), dok među aktivnostima izvan kuće se prakticira odlazak na izlet, u kupovinu ili u šetnju. U odnosu na broj djece u obitelji, postoji razlika u aktivnostima slobodnog vremena. Primjerice, većina ispitanika koji su roditelji jednog djeteta češće zajedno idu na izlet nego roditelji koji imaju više od jednog djeteta. Isto tako, utvrđene su određene razlike u aktivnostima provođenja slobodnog vremena s obzirom na uzrast djece (učenici razredne ili predmetne nastave). Primjerice, zajednički odlazak na misu češće prakticiraju roditelji djece koja su učenici razredne nastave. Također, prema dobivenim rezultatima istraživanja, većina ispitanika smatra kako podjednako i majka i otac sudjeluju u zajedničkim aktivnostima slobodnog vremena s djetetom odnosno s djecom. S druge strane, u odnosu na očeve, majke više slobodnog vremena provode s djecom. Ipak, većina ispitanika je zadovoljna provedenim slobodnim vremenom u obitelji. Velika je važnost osvijestiti ulogu kvalitetnog provođenja slobodnog vremena. Family is the fundamental unit of society in which the process of human development and shaping of young person begins. Parents have a decisive role in upbringing. It is up to the parents to take care of the quality of the family's leisure time. Leisure time is understood differently depending on the scientific field being studied. It is often interpretated as a time in which the individual is completely free and when time can be fulfilled and shaped according to the own wishes. The aim of thesis is to examine, analyse and interpretate the ways in which primary school students spend their leisure time with families from the perspective of their parents. To purpose of aim achievement and based on the set research hypotheses, a survey questionnaire was developed. According to the results, primary school students most often spend leisure time with their families in activities at home (housework, gardening, meals preparing, etc.), while activities outside the home include going on trips, shopping together or walking in nature. In relation to number of children in the family, there is a difference in leisure time activities. For example, most respondents who are parents of one child go on a trip together more often than parents who have more than one child. Also, certain differences were found in the activities of spending leisure time with regard to the age of children (students of class teaching or students of subject teaching). For example, parents of children who are students of class teaching more often practice religious activities. Also, according to the results of the research, most respondents believe that both mother and father participate in leisure time activities with child/children. On the other hand, compared to the fathers, mothers spend more free time with their children. Nevertheless, most respondents are satisfied with the free time spent with family. It is very important to be aware of the role of quality leisure time.

Dvije godine je prošlo od pojave virusa COVID-19. Svijet je pretrpio različite situacije i neprilike, sa kojima se još nitko nije susreo. Jednog dana, stalo je sve. Sve što je bilo normalno,odjednom je nestalo, i svi su imali samo jedan zadatak, a to je bilo, ostati doma. Kako je pandemija polako „sazrijevala“, uvodili su se neki određeni protokoli i pravila, da bi ljudi mogli opet obavljati svoje poslove izvan doma, kretati se i na neki način, probati opet živjeti kao prije. Prvo pravilo je bilo pravilo nošenje zaštitnih maski, te distanciranje od svih. Vrijeme je prolazilo, ljudi su se pridržavali pravila, ali nitko se nije zapitao koje su posljedice takvog ponašanja. U ovome radu kroz anketni upitnik, došli smo do razmišljanja odgojitelja, da bih mogli uvidjeti koje su posljedice na djecu, na njihovo ponašanje i budući razvoj. Rezultatima svih odgovora, može se zaključiti, kako većina odgojitelja, smatra da ova današnja situacija, i način na koji se sa djecom radi, ima velike utjecaje na njihov socijalni razvoj. Odgojitelji moraju stvarati distancu od djece, a istovremeno ih učiti na zajedništvo. Moraju se sa njima povezati, a istovremeno nositi zaštitnu masku, te ih djeca praktički niti ne vide. Na odgojiteljima je teška situacija u kojoj im je rad puno zahtjevniji nego je bio prije. Situacija sa ovim virusom utječe i stvara velike posljedice, na samu djecu, isto kao i na sve ljude. Teško je udaljavati se od svih, konstantno imati u glavi „Moram napraviti metar razmaka“, a da pritom u svima nama ostane onaj osjećaj za pripadnošću društvu i međusobnom zajedništvu. Srećom, od svih pravila, jedno pravila djeca nisu prihvatila. Iako odgojitelji trebaju što manje biti u fizičkom kontaktu, djeca nisu to prihvatila. Ne udaljavaju se jedni od drugih, ne odvajaju se na stranu, nego se igraju i dalje zajedno, i dalje teže ispunjenu potrebama za pripadanjem i zajedništvu, iako je trenutno situacija takva, da je važnije i sigurnije udaljiti se od drugih, nego biti zajedno.
