The diploma thesis "Analysis of communication of alcohol producers on social media" deals with marketing communication of alcohol producers on social media. Examines the period from 1/1/2020 to 12/31/2021. The thesis aims to map the marketing communication of alcohol producers on social media in depth, and at the same time to create a sufficiently broad context in which the results can be presented. The topic of alcohol marketing on social media is currently important because it can contribute to the formation of alcohol habits or create obstacles for alcohol consumers who are trying to reduce their consumption. The first part of the thesis establishes the theoretical basis of marketing on social media and legal regulations on alcohol advertisements. The second part of the thesis contains mixed research, which includes both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The results of each method are first interpreted separately and then the results of both researches are combined in the conclusion and presented together.

This thesis deals with the analysis of the brewing industry with regard to minibreweries and the development of the brewing industry since 2015 in the South Bohemia region. The literary research is focuses mainly on the basic terms connected with brewery, the history of beer brewing, the division of beers and breweries and the methods of brewing beer. The work describes the main differences between large breweries and minibreweries and their advantages and disadvantages. The analytical part is devoted to selected breweries and minibreweries in the South Bohemia region, which is characterized in the work. Furthermore, selected breweries and their history, current state methods of brewing beer and their products are described. An essential part of the work are graphs, tables and pictures, which provide better clarity and presentation of data in the field of research.

The subject of the diploma thesis was to characterize consumers and their satisfaction with the products of the brewing industry, focusing on microbreweries. At the beginning of the thesis the situation on the local market is described and the literary research explains terms such as consumer, satisfaction, measurement of satisfaction and also the brewing industry with a focus on microbreweries. In the practical part of research was realized by the method of questionnaire survey and in the second part by blind tasting. The main objective was to find out consumers' view of the brewing industry and microbreweries. In recent years, the trend of small and domestic breweries has increased in the Czech republic and their numbers are growing by dozens each year. It differs a lot from large industrial breweries, because the smaller amount of production makes possible to produce special types of beer. This is tempting at microbreweries, specialty beers and their possible flavors, other beer brewing technologies and a homely approach.

This thesis work is aimed at the meaning of excursion in teaching biology at secondary vocational school for thematic complex of microbiology. The topic of microbiology is not attractive for students of secondary vocational school and it is very important to find out what the impact of the excursion will be on the knowledge of students who will participate on the excursion Part of this work is evaluation of excursion as an alternative method of teaching and its overall importance in the teaching of biology. Diploma thesis work brings an overview how the individual stages of the excursion should theoretically look like. It provides list of institutions and factories which may be asked for microbiology excursion in practice. Next part includes completely described excursion in brewery U Fleků including preparation realization and evaluation. Excursion was taken by two classes of different fields with identical pre concept of their studies. Part of the school phase of the excursion is testing students in the form of pre test with the knowledge of microbiology theme, particularly beer production and yeasting process. This bachelor thesis describes changes in the brewing industry after the political changes in 1989. The first part of the thesis describes the history of brewing in our territory. A crucial part of this thesis is focused on the changes and development after the 1989 and aims at the state breweries, national breweries, and microbreweries. Next part of the thesis describes changes attached to breweries after the European Union admission. Part of the thesis is also a practical experiment from the field of nutrition and fertilization of barley and their impact on the yield and quality of grain determined for malting purposes. The final part of the thesis is devoted to raw materials needed for the production of beer and consumption of beer in the Czech Republic.

This diploma thesis deals with the findings of the existence an impact of the Protected Geographical Indication Czech beer on the economic situation of breweries in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part, which precedes the actual findings, is devoted to the description of company's performance in terms of financial management, methods of measurement and the topic of protected designations at European Union level, focusing on the Protected Geographical Indication Czech beer. The main research has been made by using the data of the financial analysis of breweries which owns the permission to use the Protected Geographical Indication Czech beer. These findings are based on the evaluation of selected classical indicators and modern indicator economic value added and further through the implementation of the primary exploration on the producers part by using the questionnaire survey. These results are subsequently compared. The overall conclusion of this thesis shows that the Protected Geographical Indication Czech beer does not affect the economic situation of breweries in the Czech Republic.

- Abstract
Diplomová práce je v první části zaměřena na umělecko-historický rozbor sgrafitové výzdoby vstupní pivovarské věže na zámku v Litomyšli a koncepci její výzdoby. Zabývá se jak stavební historií pivovaru, tak ikonografickou a námětovou rovinou výzdoby pivovarské věže a jejími objednateli. Závěrem jsou uvedeny příklady analogické sgrafitové výzdoby v České republice. Druhá část diplomové práce se zabývá restaurováním části sgrafitové výzdoby na jihovýchodní fasádě vstupní věže zámeckého pivovaru v Litomyšli. Dokumentuje průzkum a restaurátorský zásah, který byl na části těchto sgrafit proveden. Tato sgrafitová výzdoba s figurálními náměty, se nachází ve dvou nikách vpravo od vstupního portálu jihovýchoní fasády. Sgrafita na pivovarské věži pocházejí původně z doby kolem roku 1630 a nechal je provést Vratislav Eusebius z Pernštejna. Koncem 70. let 20. století byla sgrafita restaurována a doplněna restaurátorským týmem Olbrama Zoubka., The diploma thesis focuses in the first part on art history research of the sgraffito decoration on the Entrance Brewery Tower of Litomyšl Castle and conception of its ornamentation. The thesis, furthermore, deals with the building history of the brewery, iconography and motifs with which the Brewery Tower was decorated and the Brewery commissioners. The first part of the thesis is concluded by listing analogous examples of the time-related sgraffito images in the Czech Republic. The second part of the diploma thesis describes the restoration process of a part of the sgraffito on the southeast facade of the Entrance Brewery Tower of Litomyšl Castle. It documents the survey and restoration intervention done on this part of the sgraffito decoration. The sgraffito depicting figurative scenes is located in two niches on the right side of the entrance gate of the southeast facade. The original sgraffito images on the Entrance Brewery Tower are dated back to around the year 1630 and they were comissioned by Vratislav Eusebius of Pernštejn. This Master's Thesis analyses communication strategies of featured Czech large breweries and focuses on their target groups, media mixes and especially the creativity and originality of their communication activities. The hypothesis being verified is that Czech large breweries do not produce extraordinarily creative campaigns with strong and interesting idea and that all of them communicate in the very similar way. The theoretical part of the Thesis focuses on the brewery situation in the Czech Republic and its meaning for the Czech society as well as on the theory of communication, marketing communication, communication strategy and advertising. The practical part analyses and compares the communication strategies of featured Czech large breweries demonstrated on specific advertising campaigns. The Master's Thesis is concluded with the summary and evaluation of the communication strategies.

12. Beer production optimization in a brewery

The present thesis is based on actual data provided by the employees of the Zubr Brewery and it focuses on production optimization, aiming to maximize yearly profit while taking into account various limitations defined in advance. A convenient tool for determining the optimum yearly production of individual products is linear programming. For the purposes of this thesis, the production planning problem is utilized. An economic model was constructed on the basis of available data and -- after several essential calculation tasks -- a mathematical model was established, which was subsequently calculated using Microsoft Excel and its Solver functionality. Finally, the resultant values were interpreted. Apart from the analysis per se, the first two chapters explain the concept of linear programming and briefly introduce the Zubr Brewery, its products and its technology of brewing.

Martinů, B.: The analysis of the beer industry in the Czech republic. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2014. This thesis describes the dimension and the development of the brewery sector in the Czech Republic according to the selected indicators. The theoretical part defines the development of the agrarian sector with a focus on the issues shaping the economic context of agribusiness. It also deals with the definition of an agricultural market and the characteristics of the food sector. And last but not least, the thesis describes critical connections and historical context of the development of the brewing industry. The work identifies the fundamental factors shaping brewery industry in the Czech Republic and in particular the development of this sector, with an evaluation of the changes that occur the analyzed period, with a description of causation. The work focuses on the factors conditioning the existence and successful functioning of the Czech brewery industry, such as the volume of beer produced, the number of breweries, consumption and foreign trade. The remaining part of the thesis analyzes the individual determinants of the market structure and follows up the categorization of the Czech breweries, the differences in their production and market strategies, such as concentration, entry barriers or competition strategies, and it is here where the whole commodity vertical of the beer production is defined. The gained knowledge can be further used to estimate the future development of the Czech brewery industry and also to anticipate the changes that may occur in this sector.

The aim of this thesis is to estimate the value of company Rodinný pivovar BERNARD a.s. for owners using the income approach at the date of 31st December 2013. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the methods and procedures of valuation. The practical part consists of the company profile, strategic analysis, financial analysis, financial plan and the final valuation of the company. Analysis of the previous development of the company is conducted for the period 2009 - 2013. The financial plan was drawn up for the period 2014 - 2018. Company was valued using discounted cash flow method in the variant of free cash flow to the firm. At the end of the thesis there was carried out valuation by the book value method for purposes of comparison with the valuation made by discounted cash flow method.

The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the brewery Poutník in terms of its foreign trade and possibilities for entering foreign markets. The first part provides the theoretical knowledge of foreign trade, forms of entry into foreign markets and possibilities of export support in the Czech Republic. In the main part there is a characteristic of the brewery Poutník, this part also contains the PEST analysis, the portfolio analysis, the characteristic of selected economic indicators and the SWOT analysis that is form of these analysis. The analysis of potential foreign markets is used in the next part. There are 3 selected states: Slovenia, Italy, Romania. The PEST analysis and the portfolio analysis are provided for each state. Possibilities of export support from the CzechTrade agency, Czech export bank and EGAP are also chosen. At the end of the thesis it was suggested suitable options of the entry to these markets.

This thesis focuses on all kinds of public house services in České Budějovice from the 16th to the 17th century. It describes the special status of publican guilds using guild instructions from different epoques and presents particular České Budějovice pubs and also a typology of these. The core topic of the thesis is the list of original brewing rights holding houses in which pubs were found and the introduction of important historical pubs, inns, or wine bars in the centre of České Budějovice. The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze financial health of the brewery Heineken Česká republika, a.s. in the years 2007 to 2010. This thesis includes two parts -- the theoretical and the practical one. The first part deals with the characteristics of financial analysis and its individual methods that are used in the second one. The practical part involves basic information about the company and its history. This is followed by the financial analysis based on horizontal and vertical analysis, balance sheet rules, ratio indicators, economic value added and bankruptcy and standing models. This thesis also includes a cross-company comparison to the competitive brewery Budějovický Budvar, n.p.

Do dnešní doby je v České republice evidováno na 1400 objektů pivovarů a to jak funkčních nebo využívaných k jiným účelům, tak i opuštěných nebo zaniklých. Bohužel většina z nich jsou objekty opuštěné a chátrající. Důležité je jak se k těmto historickým budovám budeme stavět v budoucnosti. Využít tento neopakovatelný potenciál nebo nechat prostor pro nové? Jakým způsobem přistupovat k těmto stavbám? Jaké možnosti nám dávají a co potřebují? Příspěvek se snaží stručně charakterizovat a upozornit na mimořádné vlastnosti jedné velké skupiny výrobních budov, které se díky dramatickým změnám společnosti stala ohroženým druhem. Pokusit se nabídnout možnosti jak k těmto cenným stavbám přistupovat, aby zůstal zachován aspoň jejich charakter a atmosféra pro další generace. Until these days we have registered 1400 brewery facilities. In this list there are factories which are fully functional, used for another function, abandoned or completely vanished. Unfortunately most of them are ruins or completely destroyed. Important thing is how we will treat with these structures in the future. Will we use this unique potential, or leave this place for a new function? Which way we can choose? What is the potential of these buildings and what they need? This article tries to briefly describe and highlight the extraordinary qualities of a large group of industrial buildings which due to dramatic changes in society became endangered.

This diploma thesis deals with the valuation of the brewery Primátor as at the 1st January 2010. This company was sold to the company LIF, a.s. by the former owner, city of Náchod in the spring 2009 as a company with low rentability and with financial problems caused by inefficient projects of the city, which were realized by the brewery and which weren't connected with the core business of the company, with the brewing. The main purpose of this work is to find the value of brewery after one year production connected wholly with the brewing under the new owner without the financial burden of the city. The value will be compared with the price realized during the transaction of sale. The reason of the comparison is to evaluate the adequacy of this price payed for the brewery.

The goal of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the financial health of the joint-stock company Vysoký Chlumec Brewery between the years 2006 and 2010. The work is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part describes the nature and selected tools of financial analysis. These are afterwards in the practical part applied on the selected company and commented on their outputs. Specifically, the methods of financial analysis are absolute, financial and differential ratios, balance rules, economic value added and three representatives of the bankruptcy models. My effort in this thesis is to map the fundamental factors that affected the financial position of the join-stock company Vysoký Chlumec Brewery within a defined period, from the view of an external analyst.

The offer however, was with no further explanation rejected by the main shareholder - PMS Přerov. Therefore the purpose of this diploma thesis is to determine the value which would have been offered for Pivovar Litovel a.s. at the 1st January 2010 by Heineken group and, using new data, to find out, wheather this action was or was not beneficial from the financial point of view.

It provides a basis for choosing appropriate valuation methods and data for their subsequent application. The thesis is divided into four parts; the first part provides basic information about the company, its history and its activities. The second part analyses the financial health of the company by financial statement analysis and ratios analysis. The results of the company are then compared with competitors in the same industry. The third part is devoted to strategic analysis; it defines the relevant market in terms of volume and values. It provides alternative forecast scenarios of market development. It arrives to the projections of revenues of Svijany by synthesis and analysis of market forecasts and forecasts of competitive power. The final section summarizes the results of financial and strategic analysis.

The graduation thesis deals with the use of logistics in the brewery Pivovar Protivín a. s. The paper presents a view of the current situation of Czech breweries in the Czech Republic as well as in the world. It maps the trends of recent years in the brewing industry and shows how Czech breweries have faced up the economic crisis. The results of Pivovar Protivín are presented and compared with the results of Svijany brewery. The distribution of Protivín brewery products is analyzed. Based on the analysis, the time frame of beer delivery to customers is made. Further on, the questions of the packaging management in Protivín brewery are dealt with. Breweries are specific for complex and expensive reverse logistics of returnable packaging. The question whether producing beer in PET bottles would be appropriate for Protivín brewery is studied. Determining the level of services provided for brewery customers is examined. According to the results presented here, the greatest demands on services provided by breweries appeared to be those by the customers in gastronomy sphere. Based on the questionnaire investigation, the standards in providing brewing services were set together. Finally, I suggested possible improvements that should lead to cost savings, greater flexibility of operations and competitive advantages for the Protivín brewery as well as for the whole K Brewery Group.

The thesis consists of a business valuation of BERNARD Family Brewery, a brewery headquartered in the town of Humpolec and belonging to a group of several smaller breweries (related to its size). In 2001, top management decided to finance its company growth through venture capital. The main objective of this thesis is to indicate the market value as of 1/1/2009 by utilizing appraisement measures in accordance with International Valuation Standards (IVS). The business valuation is primarily determined using two well-known valuation approaches - adjusted present value method (based on income analysis) and comparable companies analysis (based on market analysis). In addition, the use of advanced statistics is applied when needed. The purpose of this assessment is to find an appropriate value for owners and other third-party stakeholders. In order to provide a full range of understanding, the paper consists of six main parts that involve a company profile, strategic analysis, financial analysis, value drivers, financial plan and a final valuation. Further, all these parts are split up into few sections.
