The main objective of the thesis is the analysis and evaluation of support from EU sources and public budgets of the Czech Republic in the field of education of secondary school teaching staff. The analysis was carried out on all operational programmes of the current programming period and other grant or subsidy titles relevant to this work. Partial goal of the work - the success or failure of finances was evaluated on the basis the subsidy call. Component of the practical part is also an outline of the development of the educational support of secondary school teaching staff and another topic is practical recommendations for future project implementers,.

Public procurement is a much-discussed area today. It is about a paid provision of particular goods or services, that are provided from the public funds. Because of the high risk of manipulating with these funds, there is a high level of supervision done from the side of the government of the Czech Republic. This is not just on the national authority’s level, but also on the European community one, where they can with their power, influence the course of implementation of the public procurement in our territory. Except the European regulations in the form of directives, regulation and other documentation, European union also acts like a donator among others, also for implementation of public procurement. This thesis creates an overview about these authorities and their competencies in the field of supervision and control of public procurement. When the public procurement is being submitted and there is a failure in the process, in such case, the public procurement authorities enters the process and checks the correctness of the contracting authority's approach. The practical part is then based on an example from practice, where we encounter above mentioned failure from the side of the submitter and entry of the controlling authority into the realization. Since this contract was granted, the relationship of the hierarchy of supervisory authorities is much more complicated. Practical example therefore states the relationships between particular authorities in their decision-making process. So, what happens when the controlling authority refuses to reimburse costs due to a misconduct in the realization of public procurement contract? To whom the submitter can turn to? These questions are answered by the practical part. Diploma thesis creates a summary, based on the detected misconducts during the implementation of the public contract and drawing of financial support from the operational program and provides following recommendations for the submitter, who initiated the procurement.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of drawing subsidies from the European Union. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part describes the basic information that is necessary for orientation in the field. Main part of the thesis deals with analysis of support of wood sector. In the second part of my work is proposed the possibility of drawing from the operational program. In this context, there is written up the business plan that is necessary for the application. In conclusion, there are discussed results and recommendations.

The topic of this diploma thesis is "Analysis of Subsidy Conditions for Investment in Transport Infrastructure". The aim of the thesis is to analyse the subsidy conditions of investment sources in transport infrastructure and the subsequent evaluation of subsidy conditions. The diploma thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part contains explanations of important concepts related to work. There is an analysis of transport infrastructure and its financing in the Czech Republic. There is also a foreign view on transport investment. There is also an explanation of the concept of subsidy, which is crucial for the work. In the practical part, the South Bohemian Region, which also plays an important role in the thesis, is described because it is a part of the GAJU project, which deals with the development of the South Bohemian Region. Another chapter of the practical part focuses on the analysis of the sources in the transport infrastructure. It is found out where the funds for the construction of the transport infrastructure comes from, what purposes they are used for and under what conditions. Based on the assessment of the overall state and the situation with the investment in transport infrastructure, measures have been proposed to improve the current state.

This diploma thesis evaluates collaboration between Czech and Polish republic. It primarily focuses on the joint procedures of both countries in scope of their membership in European Union and on how do these neighbouring countries cooperate. Next step is the Visegrad group and how czech and polish people from the borders feel about it and the EU. One of the objectives of this theses is to analyse and compare past and present program periods of crossboarder cooperation. The cavitational and quantitative research were used for realization of this research. Using the combination of these methods led to obtaining of the informations that were needed for answering the goals of this thesis. Comparing the previous and the present programmatic period showed, that there were changes in the priority axes. The flag initiatives are being introduced with the goal of guiding and increasing the impact of the new projects.

This thesis evaluates individual forms of cluster financing divided to public sources and private sources. Theoretical bases are applied to Network Security Monitoring Cluster, which represents an example of cluster. The first part of thesis is using descriptive method and it is formulated as literary research. The second part includes an analysis of Network Security Monitoring Cluster. The conclusion compares theoretical assumption of cluster financing and advice for clusters.

This thesis builds on the topic of my bachelor thesis which dealt with the use of EU funds in Luhačovice and the analysis of specific projects that were successfully completed. This piece of work introduces us to two major subsidies that have been recently implemented in this particular city. It is based on the reconstruction of two streets named Jurkovičova alej and Dr.Veseleho, which are the two very important historical aspects of the city. In addition to the characteristics, costing models and final evaluation, a questionnaire for the local residents has also been developed and evaluated. This research tells us if in fact the residents of Luhačovice are aware of the changes going on and how they perceive them. Their opinions of the effectiveness of the use of subsidies were also recorded. In the conclusion, we can find various numerical comparisons over the years, in particular when the city began to use EU funds and an outline of the possible developments in the near future.

The work is focused on the issue of EU funds in the Czech educational system within the historical development of drawing to contemporary ways of obtaining funds that enter into the educational system. It provides an overview of the problem areas in the disbursement of funds of the European Union from the perspective of the beneficiaries. The study also addressed in detail the issue of the Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness, which had a great impact on the education system in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis in the theoretical part is to describe a comprehensive picture about the issue and provide relevant information for the understanding of specific areas of disbursement EU funds. In the practical part there are mainly presents the results of a questionnaire survey which identified problem areas when funds absorption Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness. The first part of the thesis proceeds mainly from specialized literature and presents the theoretical solution for other parts. The practical part was focused on the analysis of strategic plans of town Tabor development from theoretical knowledge gained point of view. I would assess the strategic plans of town Tabor development as positive. They are contribution to further development planning and enable to reach set goals and improve life conditions for the town citizens. The town is also successful in gaining subsidies and grants for which processing a strategic plan of development is crucial. Making use of financial means from European funds is a large contribution. Questionnaire research was placed to find out citizens´points of view of strategic developing documents.

The thesis is focused on the financing of secondary schools and especially on the possibility of utilization of money from EU funds in the programming periods 2007 2020, with a special consideration the experiences of the period 2007 - 2013. The topic of funding and support for education in the last decade is an extremely discussed theme at all levels of political and social life. Following to a discussion about the importance of secondary education and its downgrade after 1989, the theme of financing has been one of the most important. The basis of this study is to evaluate the Operational Programme "Education for Competitiveness", especially the previous programming period 2007 - 2013 based on projects and experiences of directors from selected schools in České Budějovice, based on a literature search of books and information resources. Partial aim is to identify their expectations and possible first experience with the Operational Programme "Research, Development and Education" of the current programming period, based on a comparison of successful projects. Simultaneously, through the analysis of a questionnaire survey to answer questions the possibility of financing secondary schools in the South Region. In the final part of thesis are summarized the results gained from the questionnaires and a confirmation or a negation of the research assumptions, as assumed at the beginning. At the end of thesis is drawn out author´s own view of problem and his understanding of the developed problematic, the human - now with a partially knowledgeable of issue, but mostly no specialist and his personal view of the problem of school financing.

This paper deals with the area of business support in the form of projects co-financed by European Structural and Investment Funds in the Czech Republic in the Programming Period 2014 – 2020 compared to support in the Programming Period 2007 – 2013. Business has been supported in both programming periods within more operational programmes, and the paper focuses on support through the following operational programmes: Enterprise and Innovation within the first programming period and Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness within the second one. Entrepreneurial entities received a significant source of funding for their development activities through these funds. The paper aims to compare the scope and ways of providing support through both operational programmes and to evaluate this support. Článek je věnován oblasti podpory podnikání formou projektů co-financed by European Structural and Investment Funds in the Czech Republic in the Programming Period 2014 – 2020, a to v komparaci s podporou in Programming Period 2007 – 2013. Podnikání bylo podporováno v obou programových obdobích z více operačních programů, článek se zaměřuje na podporu prostřednictvím operational programmes: Enterprise and Innovation v rámci prvního and Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness v rámci druhého programming period. Prostřednictvím těchto fondů podnikatelské subjekty získaly významný zdroj financování svých rozvojových aktivit. Cílem článku je provést porovnání rozsahu a způsobu poskytování podpory prostřednictvím obou operational programmes a zhodnocení této podpory.

Kudláčková, E. Evaluation the cross-border cooperation Czech republic -- Slovakia. Master Thesis. Brno, 2015. The Czech and Slovak Republics share a great part of history, and they are also connected through their similar languages and culture. But how does the cooperation of those states look like today, when both Republics are members of the European Union, which actively supports the establishment and the development of cross-border cooperation? The subject of this thesis is to answer this question, to assess generally the cross-border cooperation of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The evaluation of the current programme period 2007 -- 2013 within cross-border cooperation is done on the basis of the analysis of the collected data, whereas the prediction of the working of the future programme period 2014 -- 2020 is based mainly on a qualitative research.

As the time goes by, one former Czech-Slovak territory has separated, forming two independent republics and members of European union. Division of common territory by a border, however, cannot affect cultural and linguistic proximity, which can be clearly identified in cross-border regions. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the cooperation amongst six regions located near mutual border during 2007-2013 period. By the means of publicly available content, an analysis of allocation of financial resources from ERDF and national budgets is executed. The qualitative evaluation of cross-border cooperation projects is delivered by the proposal of matrix for territorial impact assessment. According to percentual fulfillment of given goals, impact on barrier effect reduction and selected projects analysis, the overall added value of cross-border cooperation between Czech and Slovak republic during 2007-2013 period is specified. Main findings are then a result of combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative indicators for the researched period.

The first part of diploma thesis focuses on description of new operational programmes for term 2014--2020. Next part deals with an enterprise analysis, creating new project concerned with a capacity of production increase and model calculation of accepted endowment effects. The calculation is performed for the project supported by endow-ment and compared with one without benefits. Final part studies on short descriptions of each supporting programme with the probability to usage in the small and medium-sized furniture enterprises, methodological procedure of endowment application and clarification of incipient duties for the public benefits recipients.

The thesis sums up the basic information about the European funds, through which is realized the cohesion policy EU. Then are determined the policy's targets and a characteristic of the operational programmes, exactly thematic and regional. There is specified a region, where were analysed the impacts of the subsidies for the programming period 2007 - 2013. The next section monitors a development of indicators by which are evaluated the impacts in the region.

This thesis deals with cohesion policy of the European Union. The theme is current cohesion policy of the European Union and its future in relation to the Czech Republic. Aim of this thesis is therefore to compare the two consecutive programming periods at the level of the European Union and Czech Republic. To achieve the objective of this thesis have been used analytical methods, comparison, content analysis and statistical data. For comparison will be examined official documents relating to the attitudes and proposals for future cohesion policy in the programming period 2014 - 2020, documents evaluating the previous programming period 2007 - 2013 and information on the topic published by ministries and other authorities.

The thesis concerns with the issue of modernization of the production facilities of the Unipar Company, which is engaged in producing top quality luxurious candles. Project will be developed by describing the financial situation of the company and characterizing the specific needs of the working stations for the third stage of production - decoration and completion of candles. This project will be applied for the European Union co-financing in the form of grants from the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation.

The work examines the structural policy of the EU and the Czech Republic, its origin, evolution, principles, objectives, operational programms and funds. It examines whether financial resources from the EU funds were spent efficiently to the development of Czech region of Canada.

This diploma thesis explores the issue of project activity which has become a new challenge for school directors in EU member states for the last few years. The projects not only contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks of the educational process, but also to the development of the school environment. The aim of this thesis is to compare the use of project possibilities within the research sample of directors of secondary schools in the Czech Republic and France. Theoretical background specifies the project and its cycle together with the strategy, tools and subsidy opportunities within the educational and regional policy of the European Union. The empirical part investigates the differences between the activity and success in the use of grant funds within the sample of directors of Czech and French schools and views on the form of international cooperation in the Comenius sub-program of lifelong learning.

The bachelor thesis is dealing with the problematics of utilization of European union structural funds in village Dalešice. In the first part of the thesis the basic terms are described in terms of economy policy, social cohesion and structural funds of European Union. Subsequently, architecture of czech operational pro-grammes is described and compared to other countries. In a practical part, the thesis is focused on the utilization of European union structural funds. The projects applying for the support from structural funds are analyzed here within the programming period of 2007 - 2013 and the reasons of some applications failure are identified. In conclusion, the suggestions and recommendations for village Dalešice are created for the next programming period, 2014 - 2020.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of financial literacy among the Czech Republic population and the financial education. The thesis compares different financial literacy surveys carried out by third subjects and identifies the means of financing its support. As a practical part of this thesis, the survey of financial literacy among high school third and fourth year students and expert interviews with qualified teachers have been conducted. On the basis of the obtained research results, recommendations on increasing target group's financial literacy are suggested.

Dissertation is focused on the analysis of projects realised by employment offices during program period 2007-2013. In theoretical part of this dissertation are presented teoretical findings relating to social policy, the employment´s policy of Czech Republic inclouded. Theoretical part includes also findings of social policy in context of policy of togetherness EU, where dissertation is focused on its targets and engines. This part of dissertation also characterizes operation program Human resources and employment. In practical part are presented the results of questionnaire survey and there are proposed concrete actions oriented to improvement of realisation of projects realised by employment agency of Czech Republic. Practical part of this document compares projects Educate yourselves for growing in region Vysočina and Educate yourselves for growing in region Vysočina II. and evaluates also economical side of both projects. Marginal chapter of practical part is comparation of the costs for one participant of welding course from the project Educate yourselves for growing in region Vysočina II. with the same course which is organised through the requalification secured by employment agency Czech Republic.

This thesis focuses on the regional development of the territory, with particular emphasis on the development of the village Czech Republic. It provides a comprehensive view of the theoretical basis of regional development and regional policy of the European Union, including in particular its application to the territory. The thesis analyzes programs that have been co-financed by the European Union under the regional operational programs in the programming periods 2004-006 and 2007-2013. Then it evaluates each programming period and summarizes their impact on community development. To complete the development of the work is completed by a SWOT analysis of the village, where they outlined the strengths and weaknesses of the territorial unit, including possible development opportunities and threats.

The subject of this thesis is to research the issues of publicity in area of subsidy financing from EU funds. Both teoretical and practical way of research are used. In the first half of the thesis are desctriped the issues of subventional financing and regulation for publicity. In the second part the analasys of sanction mechanism in publicity sphere is researched. Also several specific projects are analysed and evaluated.

This thesis deals with introducing operational programs in Czech and Slovak Rebublics in the past as well as in the present. The introductory section is focused on the past period 2007-2013 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where I describe existing operating programmes, their distribution according to individual objectives and their short characteristic. In the following section I focus on the present period 2014-2020. In this part I mention changes in comparing to previous period, focusing on the Partnership Agreement. I also deal with the Operational Program Human Resources and Employment in the Czech Republic for the period 2007-2013 and with the Operational Program Employment in the Czech Republic for the period 2014-2020. At the end of my thesis I deal with the Operational Program Employment and Social Inclusion in Slovakia for the period 2007-2013 and with the Operational Program Human Resources, Employment and Inclusion in Slovakia for the 2014-2020 period. In the last part of my thesis I made some charts with brief and summery comparisions which are focused on operational programs for development of human resources and employment in the Czech republic and Slovakia in the past and in the Czech republic and Slovakia in the present.

The thesis deals with small and medium enterprises and sources of financing. The theoretical part contains definition and characteristic of small and medium enterprises, national and international business support and various financial resources. The practical part analyzes financial situation of concrete small enterprise, sources of its financing and gives some recommendations for the financing of future.

The thesis is concerned with the analysis of the option of drawing financial means from the European Union's funds to finance the development activities of municipalities. Thanks to the membership of the Czech Republic in the European Union, the municipalities may draw the subsidies to increase not only their own standard of living, but also of the whole region. After classifying the basic terms focused on the public administration, the municipality budget is introduced in more detail as well as the options for subsidies on various levels of public administration, especially through the structural funds of the European Union. The practical part of the thesis makes a more detailed analysis of the budget of the Boží Dar municipality between 2006 and 2012, including the interview survey-based assessment of the impact of implemented projects on the whole municipality as well as the businesses there.

This thesis deals with drawing financial means from the Structural Funds of the European Union in the co-operation of the basic components of the Integrated Rescue System as one of the possible alternatives of drawing outside-budget sources. This drawing is motivated by the long-term tendencies of state budget savings and the associated fact of decreasing the budget of the individual basic components of the Integrated Rescue System. In the thesis, the basic concepts in the field of the structural policy of the European Union, principles and possibilities of drawing subsidies for these institutions, Integrated Rescue System and the characteristics of its basic components are defined. The target of the thesis is to map the projects co-financed from the Structural Funds of the European Union implemented by the Regional Police Directorate of the South-Bohemian Region. The partial goal is presenting the possible alternative of drawing financial means from the Structural Funds of the European Union in co-operation of the basic components of the Integrated Rescue System.

The thesis "Methodological context of evaluating the impact of the soft interventions from the EU Structural Funds: the application on the Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment" deals with the public expenditure programs as a tool for economic and regional policy. In connection with objective of this thesis, which is to evaluate the impact of soft interventions from OP HRE on the selected target groups, the thesis is focused on issues and experience with the evaluation of public expenditure programs in the Czech Republic. The actual evaluation of the impacts of the soft interventions from the OP HRE is made from two viewpoints microeconomic and macroeconomic. Based on the analysis there are identified the problems of evaluating the impact of the intervention on the target groups as well as their possible solutions.

Bachelorś work deals with introducing the EU regional politics issue and the basic goal identification of this politics. There are EU basic fund definition and Operational Programmes. This work also defines the Development Management. The practical part focuses on elementary document processing and specification. These are needed to obtain grants, to set the project plans and other related analyzes, including the information gained with secondary research. In conclusion we deal with obtained results´ analysis and specify whether it is convenient to prosper from grants drawing or not.

The author of the bachelor thesis is going to handle with the development of the Region of South Bohemia, Free State of Bavaria and Upper and Lower Austria cross-border cooperation. The thesis concerns general problematic of cross-border cooperation, its historic development in the frame of the respective timeframe, concerning period from the year 1948 up to nowadays, further the projects administrated by the Region of South Bohemia and its neighbouring regions as well as the planning projects, not yet implemented. Introduction of The Strategy for Removing The Impacts of The Iron Curtain in the separate chapter enables deeper insight into the strategy as well as into its future utilization. Moreover, the author made questionnaire research among the citizens living in the border towns of the Region of South Bohemia that might feel the impacts of the iron curtain the most. In the conclusion of the thesis the author creates conclusions from the carried research and confirms or disputed the assumption of the thesis.

This diploma thesis highlights the issue of the interconnection between the cohesion policy implemented by the European Union and the national regional policy of the Czech Republic and underlines to which extent such coordination influences Czech entities and how they can profit out of it. The thesis focuses on the territorial cohesion and especially on the Operational Programme of Cross-border co-operation between the Czech Republic and the Free State of Saxony. In this thesis you will find an analysis of the needs and requirements for further growth of the studied region, an analysis of projects realized within the examined Programme and consequent appraisal whether the Programme fulfills the essential necessities for further growth of the eligible areas or whether there is potential for some changes to be made for the future programming period of 2014-2020 (which is now being discussed in the institutions of the European Union) in order to achieve higher efficiency and usefulness of the financial resources coming from the budget of the European union and the national budget of the Czech Republic.

This thesis is focused on the subsidies that flow to the Czech Republic from the EU budget. The text describes the mechanism by which funds from the EU budget financial resources go to the Czech Republic. In my thesis I also bring an overview of funds and operational programmes that can be used for project financing in a current programming period. The key issue is reporting (monitoring - according to the terminology used in the field of EU funds). The second issue is assurance or audit. Since the entire area of subsidies is constantly evolving (and in the case of the Czech republic it is a relatively "new matter"), there is still a big number of training workshops and information that would support quality and "correct" management of these resources. These activities will support the recipients in completing of monitoring reports.

This thesis deals with subsidy received city Rožmitál pod Třemšínem, as a territorial authority unit. The work consists of two parts. First theoretical part is composed of individual chapters that help to create complex ideas about the problems regional policy of the European Union and the Czech Republic, the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, municipalities and their economic relationship. The second part is in the beginning created the profile of the city Rožmitál pod Třemšínem. Other chapters have dealt with the practical part of the subsidy policy city Rožmitál pod Třemšínem and description of financial stimuli for the area. It is designed to work in a project that seeks to improve the quality of life in rural areas and increasing the level of public services of the city.

The presented bachelors's thesis brings the analysis of brownfields and their categorization. It pays attention to brownfields' causes and consequences. The paper reminds the influence of market on brownfields (positive and negative externalities, cost gap). It analyzes selected subsidized programmes (Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations, Operational Programme Environment and Regional Operational Programs) and assesses economic value of brownfield adjustments (it reminds the advantage of EU funds providing for their realization).
