Pada pelaksanaan suatu proyek terdapat permasalahan yang masih terbilang perlu diteliti lagi pada dunia konstruksi yang berkaitan dengan keefektifan, efisiensi dan ekonomis. Salah satu cara yang terdekat adalah penerapan value engineering pada proyek konstruksi. Metode Analisa Value Engineering memiliki kelebihan, yaitu adanya upaya pendekatan yang sistematis, rapi, dan terorganisir dalam menganalisa nilai (value) dari pokok permasalahan terhadap fungsi tetapi tetap konsisten terhadap kebutuhan akan penampilan, kualitas, dan pemeliharaan dari proyek. Tahapan Value Engineering yaitu: tahap informasi dari proses Value Engineering meliputi merumuskan masalah, mengumpulkan data, mengenal objek (produk) dengan mengkaji fungsi dan mencatat biaya. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan untuk perhitungan sisa material (waste) pada Proyek Pembangunan Gedung Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 (Gedung A) yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya sisa material diantaranya: (a) indikator faktor manusia memiliki nilai mean 2.98 dan ranking 1; (b) indikator faktor lapangan memiliki nilai mean 3.06 dan ranking 1; (c) indikator pengadaan material memiliki nilai mean 2.90 dan ranking 1; (d) indikator metode kerja memiliki nilai mean 3.08 dan ranking 1; dan (e) indikator Alat/Mesin memiliki nilai mean 2.98 dan ranking 1. Dari hasil perhitungan value engineering dapat dihemat biaya pembangunan Proyek Pembangunan Gedung Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 (Gedung A) sebesar Rp. 70.788.369,43.

Blood electrolyte levels in the tube will decrease after 30 minutes of blood collection due to the hemolysis process at a rate of about 7 mg/dl per hour. This study aims to determine the comparison of potassium electrolyte levels in blood specimens using red and yellow vacuum tubes at Toto Kabila Hospital, Bone Bolango Regency.The method in this study used descriptive with a quantitative approach and the method used in this study was accidental sampling with a sample of 30 patients who were to be studied. The results of the comparison of potassium levels in vacuum tubes with red lids and vacuum tubes with yellow covers showed normal potassium levels in 24 samples or (80%) and abnormal potassium levels in 6 samples or (20%) with the results of the Mann -With a test on comparisons of potassium levels in tubes with red caps and yellow caps showing that .0.099 > 0.05 so that it can be concluded that there is nothing significant about potassium examination using vacuum tubes with red lids and vacuum tubes with yellow lids.

Most of the understanding of prospective elementary school teachers is still low. This is evidenced by the assignment score of prospective teacher that have not reached the achievement standards set by the university. The PBL model is an effective way to produce important skills such as communication skills, project management, collaborative, and innovative. The purpose of the study was to analyses the effect of the problem based learning method on the level of understanding of prospective elementary school teachers in Indonesia. This study uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design. The experimental design used is the pretest and posttest control group design. Data collection techniques are using the test method. The population and sample in this study consisted of 2 classes majoring in elementary school education. The instrument used in this study was a test, namely pretest and posttest multiple choice questions. The technique used to analyze the data to test the research hypothesis is One Way Anova. Based on the results of this study, it showed that the average posttest value of the experimental class using problem based learning research was 84.82 while the average in the control class was 82.32. There is an increase of 2.5 by using the problem based learning method in Indonesian language lectures. The conclusion is that there is an influence that can increase the understanding of prospective elementary school teachers during the Indonesian language lecture process using the problem based learning method.

Critical literacy skills still need to be developed, considering that the essential power of students is not yet maximized, which is characterized by being easily provoked and having difficulty solving problems. Candidates for elementary school teachers who will later be in control at the basic education level are expected to master these abilities before they teach them to students. This study aims to analyze the extent of critical literacy mastery of elementary school teacher education students. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research was conducted at the Department of Elementary School Teacher Education, with 142 students. To collect data, this study used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Bogdan and Biklen model, namely analyzing data by narrowing the findings based on phenomena. The result of this research is that the mastery of critical literacy, owned by the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program students, is quite good even though all students do not evenly share this mastery. Mastery of critical literacy is manifested in collaborative activities, socio-cultural linkages, and the involvement of reflective thinking. This study implies that essential literacy learning should be part of the curriculum to have an honest and targeted impact.

Latar belakang penelitian ini karena adanya kebutuhan siswa dalam memahami materi futsal khususnya teknik dasar Penjaga Gawang.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan video teknik dasar penjaga gawang futsal putri SMA/SMK/Club dalam bentuk Video yang dapat mempermudah siswi dalam berlatih teknik dasar bagi penjaga gawang futsal khususnya putri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tahapan potensi dan masalah, mengumpulkan data, mendesain dan membuat produk awal, validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Selanjutnya produk yang dihasilkan diujicoba kan kepada responden melalui uji coba produk. Subjek uji coba adalah penjaga gawang peserta eksrtrakurikuler futsal putri SMA/ SMK/Club di Kota Jambi. Data hasil validasi dari ahli materi dari aspek strategi pembelajaran dengan nilai 23 dan aspek isi materi mendapat nilai 39. Menurut ahli media dari aspek desain teknis dengan nilai 47. Sedangkan penilaian siswa pada uji coba pemakaian dari aspek tampilan media dengan nilai 36,7 dan aspek isi materi mendapatkan skor 23,3. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk media pembelajaran video teknik dasar penjaga gawang untuk peserta ekstrakurikuler futsal putri SMA/ SMK yang layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam berlatih futsal.

The primary task of integrated product supply chain management is distribution. The processing, storage, and distribution of high-quality pharmaceutical products makes the drug distribution process crucial in the pharmaceutical sector. The distribution of fake medications by associated parties, such as unauthorized or unregistered distributors or data collecting for unregistered medications distributed by distributors, is a concern in the pharmaceutical industry. Drug production permits that are misused up until they are distributed or circulated do not adhere to the Food and Drug Supervisory Agencies standard requirements. In order to facilitate the distribution process by recording data distribution, providing data security, and giving traceability of transactions between linked parties, these issues must be rapidly resolved with technology help. By utilizing blockchain technology, this study suggests a beneficial medicine delivery approach. A user-centered design and a qualitative methodology are used in the model creation. This study's output is a blockchain-based drug delivery mechanism that has been verified. Transparency, security, traceability, decentralization, automation, immutability, and reliability are all features of the model. By ensuring that the pharmaceuticals supplied are of high quality, this strategy can assist the government in promoting community safety, health, and trust in the drugs that are in use.

Kayu laminasi atau kayu glulam struktural (glued laminated timber) telah menjadi inovasi yang cukup berkembang dalam meningkatkan mutu kayu untuk digunakan sebagai elemen struktural suatu bangunan. Berbagai penelitian telah dilakukan sebagai upaya optimasi metode, antara lain dengan memvariasikan jenis kayu, dimensi, dan jumlah lamina. Penelitian untuk memeriksa pengaruh sambungan mekanis sebagai sambungan tambahan pada kayu laminasi dibutuhkan untuk memperluas inovasi metode, tetapi jumlah penelitian tersebut masih minim. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh jarak antar paku sebagai sambungan mekanis tambahan pada perilaku lentur balok laminasi, yang sudah direkatkan dengan lem epoksi. Dalam penelitian ini, balok laminasi kayu glugu-sengon-glugu berdimensi 5 x 7 cm diuji lentur satu titik dengan variasi jarak antar paku sebesar 5, 10, 15, dan 20 cm. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penambahan sambungan paku dapat meningkatkan kekuatan lentur maksimum (MOR) sebesar 29% (47,67 MPa), 46% (54,01 MPa), 17% (43,12 MPa), dan 4% (38,49 MPa) pada variasi jarak antar paku 20 cm, 15 cm, 10 cm, dan 5 cm, dibandingkan dengan balok tanpa sambungan paku atau BK (36,91 MPa). Peningkatan nilai modulus elastisitas (MOE) terjadi pada variasi jarak antar paku 20 cm, 15 cm, dan 10 cm sebesar 19% (7213,22 MPa), 29% (7808,98 MPa), dan 16% (7016,08 MPa), sedangkan pada variasi jarak antar paku 5 cm terjadi penurunan sebesar 5% (5758,97 MPa), jika dibandingkan dengan BK (6042,20 MPa). Dari hasil tersebut, jarak optimal antar paku sebagai sambungan mekanis pada kayu laminasi adalah 15 cm. Lapisan kayu dengan kuat kelas yang lebih tinggi yang diletakkan pada bagian luar dapat memberikan penambahan kekuatan lapisan kayu dengan kuat kelas lebih rendah yang diletakkan di tengah.

The prevalence of diabetic foot ulcer in Indonesia is far greater than the global prevalence. Nursing students are expected to have good knowledge and positive attitudes regarding diabetic ulcer care in order to deliver high-quality wound care during clinical practice. This study aimed to assess nursing students' knowledge and attitudes toward diabetic ulcer care and to investigate the factors related to them.A cross-sectional study was conducted on 396 academic and clinical phases in three nursing schools in Indonesia from September 2021 to February 2022. Participants completed a survey including a questionnaire about knowledge and attitudes regarding diabetic ulcer care. The data were analyzed using a Chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression analysis.The results show that 43.2% (171/396) of nursing students had inadequate knowledge of diabetic ulcer care. However, 88.9% (352/396) had a favorable attitude toward the topic. Nursing students lacked knowledge about the characteristics of diabetic ulcers, diabetic neuropathy, wound infection, and adjunctive therapy for diabetic ulcers, and many of them believe that diabetic ulcer care is too time-consuming to carry out. Students in the clinical phase of their studies had significantly better knowledge than those in the academic phase (aFindings show that almost half of the nursing students have insufficient knowledge of diabetic ulcer care. Curriculum developers and educators need to improve the curriculum regarding diabetic wound care and provide strategic programs to improve students' knowledge and attitudes based on the factors discovered in this study.

Hospital waste water is one of the causes of environmental pollution. Where river pollution is one of the effects (Sari et al., 2020). The high content of Total Suspended Solid (TSS) is the one of the parameters of river pollution. High TSS content in rivers has the potential to cause siltation (Ruhmawati et al., 2017). So that the management of hospital waste water is very important (Sari et al., 2020). One of the economical waste treatment methods is the phytoremediation (Novita et al., 2019). The research was conducted by mixing wastewater with acclimatized water (1:1), then 4 liters were taken and put into a container containing water spinach with a weight of (50, 100, 150, 200, 250) grams. Tests were carried out with variations in contact time (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) days. Samples were taken as much as 500 ml and then tested for its TSS content. It was concluded that contact time had an effect on decreasing TSS levels, while for biomass weight it had no effect. In addition, it was found that the effectiveness of water spinach in reducing the highest TSS level was 85% with a TSS level of 3 mg/L which occurred on a weight variation of 250 grams on the second day and at a weight of 100 and 200 grams on the third day, which means that water spinach was quite effective in reducing TSS levels in hospital wastewater.

The rise of sole candidates in various local head elections in Indonesia has been the subject of many scholarly critical analyses. Most of the analyses perceive the phenomenon as a symptom of incumbency advantages, weak electoral systems, and poor institutionalization of political parties. This article proposes a new argument with the family-based elite perspective controlling the sole candidates’ emergence process. We compared two regions in South Sulawesi province, explaining the political family networks that dominate the political competition by limiting candidature. The sole candidate elections can be understood by looking at family-based elite networks scattered in business networks, bureaucracy, political parties, aristocrats, and grassroots mass organizations. The families use an oligarchic elite network at the national level or a plural elite network at the grassroots level. The two types of family institutions are centralized and dispersed structures: Makassar has an oligarchy, while Gowa has relatively equal elite power. The family network’s power has closed or hijacked the electoral political competition, establishing control over local elections by creating monopolistic political networks. Political family control is essential in understanding the rise of sole candidate elections in political practices.

The making of regional budgets involves several actors who have an interest in the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). The relationship between each actor forms a structured and systematic network and arranges strategies to accommodate the interests of actors in the APBD. This article aims to explain how the relationship between actors and budget politics forms interests in the making of the APBD. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis type to describe the relationship of each actor by using actor-network theory and public policy. The results of the study found that the actors involved in the making of regional budgets were grouped into two, namely formal actors and informal actors. The main actors who dominate the making of regional budgets are the regional head as the highest decision holder and family relations as informal actors who influence decision making. Each actor forms a network to accommodate their interests in the APBD by strengthening their relationship with the highest decision-makers in regional budgeting. The strategy of actors in entering and guarding their interests in the APBD uses four political strategy frameworks, namely position strategy, power strategy, player strategy, and perception strategy. This article contributes to understanding that APBD budget politics cannot be separated from the role of formal actors and informal actors who have formed networks in guarding their respective interests.

Mitra penelitian ini adalah pemerintahan kecamatan Pasar Kemis Kabupaten Tangerang dengan melakukan kegiatan PKM. Permasalahan Mitra adalah tentang pelayanan publik, seperti adanya pengaduan masyarakat tentang ketidakpastian jangka waktu pelayanan, pelayanan yang berlarut-larut, dan memakan waktu lama. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini dikenal dengan PAR atau Participatory Action Research. Berdasarkan data yang ada, akan diadakan lokakarya untuk staf kecamatan dan perwakilan dari Delapan desa dan satu kelurahan. Hasil dari kegiatan workshop telah membantu memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan dalam penerapan standar pelayanan publik yang ada, dan peserta dapat mengembangkan standar pelayanan publik yang ada. Sebagai kelanjutan dari inisiatif PKM, peserta workshop akan ditugaskan untuk mengembangkan standar pelayanan publik berdasarkan ketentuan dan kaidah atau prinsip pelayanan publik, dan menerapkannya di berbagai zona kerja.

Latar Belakang : Bahan pewarna tekstil alami daun alpukat, daun ketapang, daun sirsak, dan sabut kelapa. Tujuan : Penggunaan bahan alami bertujuan untuk mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan akibat pewarnaan tekstil Metode : Metode yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan zat pewarna adalah maserasi, maserasi merupakan metode yang sangat sederhana dengan variasi waktu maserasi 2,4, 6, 8, 10 hari. Hasil : Acuan yang digunakan dalam pewarnaan ini adalah banyaknya kadar tanin yang terkandung dalam bahan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan daun sirsak segar, daun ketapang kering, daun ketapang segar, daun sirsak segar, dan sabut kelapa segar. Kesimpulan : Uji kadar tanin dilakukan menggunakan Spektrofotometri UV-Vis dengan panjang gelombang 400-800 nm.

For BUMDes (village-owned enterprise) managers, orderly financial records and reports are crucial matters to know the financial position of their business. Systematic financial record is a tool for making decisions regarding business development plans, as well as requirements for applying for capital or getting investors. The administrative system for recording BUMDes financial reports is mostly still manual which seems complicated and lengthy, so there are still many BUMDes managers who do not have financial reports in running their business. The purpose of this community service was to increase understanding and competence regarding accounting literacy for BUMDes managers. These community service partners were directors and treasurers of 27 BUMDes in Paciran and Karanggeneng districts. Community service activities were carried out through training and mentoring methods and attended by the BUMDes managers and treasurers. The training was conceptualized in the form of lectures, discussions, and practice of preparing financial statements. The results of this service indicated that there was an increase in the knowledge and skills of BUMDes managers regarding administration, rules, utilization of village asset,and financial bookkeeping. The output of science and technology achieved was practical knowledge of simple accounting, namely the preparation of financial reports in accordance with existing standards and regulations.

Tujuan dari pembuatan alat ini adalah untuk memahami cara merancang inverter yang baik dan benar karena inverter merupakan komponen penting yang yang digunakan untuk merubah arus DC menjadi AC. bagaimana cara memasang inverter pada PLTS dan bagaimana cara untuk mengatuhui bagaimana proses untuk merubah arus DC menjadi arus AC. Dari percobaan yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil data beban terbesar yaitu: arus input 11A arus output 0,385A dan tegangan yang didapatkan yaitu: tegangan input 10,61V tegangan output 225V dan didapatkan daya sebesar 62,5. Daya maksimal yang bisa ditampung oleh inverter adalah 120 watt dan jika beban melebihi batas maksimalnya maka inverter akan otomatis mematikan daya dan akan melakukan pengecekan agar tidak terjadi kerusakan pada inverter. Dari hasil percobaan yang telah kita lakukan juga dapat kita simpulkan bahwa inverter yang dibuat sudah memiliki output berupa gelombang sinus murni atau biasa disebut pure sine wave yang merupakan gelombang sinyal terbaik yang dapat digunakan untuk bermacam-macam perangkat elektronik

Salah satu proses dalam pembuatan kopi adalah proses penyangraian, proses ini merupakan pengolahan biji kopi mentah menjadi biji kopi matang. Setiap penyangraian memiliki cara yang berbeda-beda, baik itu secara tradisional maupun modern. Adapun untuk cara tradisional, dari proses yang dilakukan hasil kematangan biji kopi yang didapatkan masih kurang merata sehingga tidak sesuai keinginan dan penggunaan alat dalam proses penyangraiannya kurang efisien. Sedangkan cara modern, alat yang digunakan harus sesuai berdasarkan karakteristik sehingga jika penggunaannya tidak mengikuti aturan maka hasil dari penyangraian yang dilakukan tidak sesuai. Dari permasalahan tersebut maka akan dibuat alat penyangraian biji kopi yang efisien untuk menghasilkan kematangan biji kopi yang bermutu. Sistem kerja alat ini menggunakan input berat kopi yang menggunakan metode fuzzy logic untuk mendapatkan waktu kematangan biji kopi dan selanjutnya alat ini akan bekerja dengan cara memutar pengaduk biji kopi yang berada didalam tabung penyangraian dengan menggunakan motor dc (dirrec current) berdasarkan waktu yang didapat. Pemanasan menggunakan elemen pemanas, dengan sistem kontrol otomatis berdasarkan dari sensor suhu yang terdeteksi dan selanjutnya akan mengendalikan pemanas sampai suhu yang diinginkan. Jika suhu masih kurang dari set poin maka pemanasan akan tetap hidup, sedangkan jika suhu melebihi set poin maka pemanasan akan dimatikan. Sehingga didapatkan hasil suhu pemanasan yang stabil. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan alat ini dapat mematangkan 3 jenis biji kopi yaitu robusta, arabika, dan liberika. Alat ini memiliki 3 varian kematangan biji kopi antara lain light roast, medium roast, dan dark roast.

Pengukuran uji kualitas density bahan bakar minyak menjadi salah satu kegiatan wajib dalam pengelolaan usaha stasiun pengisihan bahan bakar minyak (SPBU). Uji kualitas density merupakan cara pertamina untuk menjaga kualitas atau standard BBM yang akan digunakan oleh produsen dari pihak SPBU. Pengukuran uji kualitas standard density BBM yang digunakan di SPBU yaitu dengan cara konvensional atau mengukur secara manual menggunakan hidrometer dan termometer. Pada tugas akhir ini dibuat suatu rancang bangun alat uji kualitas density bahan bakar minyak yang berguna untuk menjaga kualitas bahan bakar dari pertamina saat di distribusikan ke SPBU dengan menggunakan paramater massa jenis zat cair dan suhu. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan alat uji kualitas density untuk BBM sesuai dengan standard density yang ditetapkan oleh pertamina dengan menggunakan metode tekanan hidrostatis berbasis mikrokontroler ATMEGA16 dan Kamera Webcam USB Sturdy PC521 sebagai pendeteksi ketinggian suatu zat cair serta sensor MLX90614 sebagai pendeteksi suhu. Karena parameter metode ini hanya dapat digunakan di kondisi ideal maka untuk mendapatkan density sesuai standardpengukuran dari pertamina maka nilai kombinasi untuk Lux yang dibutuhkan kamera serta jarak penampatan kamera yaitu dengan nila Intensitas cahaya 54-59 Lux dengan jarak kamera webcam 40cm berhadapan dengan objek (Bahan Bakar Minyak). Pemrosesan keluaran dari Kamera Webcam Usb Sturdy PC521 dan sensor MLX90614 akan ditampilkan di GUI Delphi XE7.

The current food supply is a linear economic model that directly or indirectly fulfills needs. However, this model has several weaknesses, such as the relationship between members of the supply chain or the lack of information to consumers about the origin of the product. In this paper we propose a new supply chain model via blockchain. This new model enables the concept of a circular economy and removes many of the disadvantages of the current supply chain. To coordinate all the transactions that occur in the food supply, a multi-agent system is created for this paper.

This study aims to analyze the effect of company reputation and service quality on purchasing decisions for headhunter services. This study is to determine the basis for consumer considerations in choosing a headhunter company, and for headhunter companies this research can be a reference in maintaining relationships with their customers. There are 3 hypotheses tested, and this study uses quantitative methods by conducting surveys. The sampling method is using probability sampling with a sample size of 115 respondents based on the hair formula. As for analyzing the data of this study using multiple linear regression analysis methods.The company's reputation and service quality both influence the decision to purchase headhunter services, with the main factor having higher relevance being the service quality variable. This study aims to determine the relationship of company reputation and service quality to purchasing decisions on professional recruitment services. Future research is expected to raise one case from a large headhunter company (local/international) regarding building the reputation of a headhunter service company. This is so that the headhunter Industry has a proven academic subject of what reputation looks like in the Headhunter Industry

Abundant physics education research (PER) literature has been disseminated through academic publications. Over the years, the growing body of literature challenges Indonesian PER scholars to understand how the research community has progressed and possible future work that should be encouraged. Nevertheless, the previous traditional method of thematic analysis possesses limitations when the amount of PER literature exponentially increases. In order to deal with this plethora of publications, one of the machine learning (ML) algorithms from natural language processing (NLP) studies was employed in this paper to automate a thematic analysis of Indonesian PER literature that still needs to be explored within the community. One of the well-known NLP algorithms, latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA), was used in this study to extract Indonesian PER topics and their evolution between 2014 and 2021. A total of 852 papers (~4 to 8 pages each) were collectively downloaded from five international conference proceedings organized, peer reviewed, and published by Indonesian PER researchers. Before their topics were modeled through the LDA algorithm, our data corpus was preprocessed through several common procedures of established NLP studies. The findings revealed that LDA had thematically quantified Indonesian PER topics and described their distinct development over a certain period. The identified topics from this study recommended that the Indonesian PER community establish robust development in eight distinct topics to the present. Here, we commenced with an initial interest focusing on research on physics laboratories and followed the research-based instruction in late 2015. For the past few years, the Indonesian PER scholars have mostly studied 21st century skills which have given way to a focus on developing relevant educational technologies and promoting the interdisciplinary aspects of physics education. We suggest an open room for Indonesian PER scholars to address the qualitative aspects of physics teaching and learning that is still scant within the literature.

Background: It is important to assess the cultural beliefs and practices of diabetic patients since such beliefs and practices greatly influence how patients self-manage the disease. However, how cultural beliefs and practices affect self-management in Javanese diabetic patients in Indonesia is still unclear since research about it is very limited. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explore the cultural beliefs and practices of diabetes self-management in Javanese diabetic patients. Methods: An ethnographic study was conducted between July 2020 and March 2021 in Banyumas Regency, Indonesia. Forty-seven participants were included, consisting of 36 type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients as key informants and 11 family members and health providers as general informants. Purposive and snowball sampling methods were used, and data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and the writing of field notes. The data were analyzed by thematic analyses using NVivo 12 software. Results: Four themes emerged from the data analysis: (1) misconception about diabetes and management, such as the belief of there being dry sugar and wet sugar types of diabetes; the belief that consuming a lot of cold rice does not increase blood glucose; the belief that insulin causes organ damage; the belief that diabetes can be completely cured; and the belief that walking barefoot is good for the body; (2) cultural beliefs and practices regarding treatment regimen, such as use of medicinal plants to lower blood glucose and home remedies to treat foot ulcers; (3) coping influenced by a blend of culture and religion, such as managing stress by submitting to God and being patients in dealing with their disease; (4) cultural influence on diet management, such as facing difficulties managing their diets at cultural events and difficulties managing the habit of eating sweet-tasting food. Conclusion: This is the first study to show that Javanese culture strongly influences how diabetic patients in Java self-manage their disease. Various aspects of Javanese culture were found to have either beneficial or detrimental effects on diabetic patients’ health status. This study provides new insights for nurses in Indonesia and will help them design a culturally sensitive education program for their diabetic patients.

A blind person is someone who has problems in terms of vision. This can occur due to congenital factors or disease factors that can affect the eye. To be able to replace the role of the eye to read something, blind people are known as a writing system known as Braille. Braille letters are letters specially designed for blind people. The introduction of Braille letters has been carried out since the beginning by special school teachers using Braille cards. Due to the large number of characters, the card arrangement often seems to take time to find the desired character. The arrangement of cards like this means that learning can only be done in a special school environment and cannot be done by someone who is not a special school teacher. To assist teachers in teaching and to help ordinary people teach Braille to the blind, a tool called the Android-based conversion board for the alphabet to Braille is made.

There is a national shift in the new Indonesian curriculum towards employing differentiated learning approaches in addressing the diversity of students’ needs and abilities. A teachers’ judgment evidently corresponds to the duty required of physics teachers to monitor their students at an individual level. Within the context of Indonesian physics education research (PER), empirical study addressing this subject is still lacking. To fill this gap, eight Indonesian physics teachers’ experiences and limitations about their judgments within differentiated learning environments have been investigated through phenomenological study. Physics teachers were voluntarily recruited after they declared their endorsement and personal consent to participate in the study. Our participants were distributed over several teaching experiences, geographic regions, and information and communication technology (ICT) experiences. The latter experience might be taken into account since, through this study, upcoming developmental research will be projected on engaging recent technological approaches to address the limitations of teachers’ judgments. Online semi-structured interviews (~50 min) were conducted by the first author to all physics teachers involved. Other authors contributed in reviewing the interview protocol and training the first author’s pilot interview. The model of teachers’ thought and action, from Clark and Peterson, was implemented to uncover physics teachers’ experiences and limitations in making judgments within a diverse group of students. The findings revealed that physics teachers have conceded that they should dynamically adapt the learning process in order to meet heterogeneous students’ performances. Personal observation has mainly informed teachers in identifying students’ differences. After students have been identified, the teachers creatively designed learning transformations to accommodate the wide spectrum of students’ abilities. Nevertheless, several limitations were discovered as being encountered by physics teachers, particularly in terms of judgments’ equity and accuracy, as well as the teachers’ workloads. To overcome this, the teachers indicated various and supportive attitudes about technological implementations that would assist their judgments. Ideas for technological development were provided to address identified obstacles during the teachers’ judgments.

The absence of an increase in the interest of the young population to enter the agricultural sector has an impact on the amount of food production each year. This happens because young people think that the farming profession is not promising for survival. One of the developments that can attract the interest of young people is by utilizing technology such as smart farming. This paper proposes initial modeling before implementing smart farming by analyzing the characteristics of the object to be planted. The purpose of this paper is to optimize plant growth and development to increase the potential of agricultural production according to the surrounding environment. The plants analyzed included eggplant, cherry tomatoes, guava, citrus, and cucumbers. The parameters studied were temperature and soil moisture in plants. The test results found that cherry tomatoes and cucumbers are not suitable if planted in the Surabaya city environment because they require low temperatures as a condition for growing. Meanwhile, eggplant, guava, and citrus plants, if placed in a place exposed to direct sunlight, will cause the soil moisture to decrease, so that the plants do not grow optimally.

This study aims to develop and analysis the feasibility of a video-assisted project-based learning model on YouTube in automotive engineering drawing subjects. Research development using ADDIE design which is simplified into 4 steps. The developed model was validated by material experts, media and learning practitioners as well as user perception tests. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a product feasibility questionnaire and a perception questionnaire using 5 Likert scales. The results of developing a project-based learning model assisted by YouTube videos contain planning procedures, syntax implementation, and assessment mechanisms that are packaged in a learning model guide book. The results of the validation test obtained a very high level of feasibility, both from material experts, media experts and learning practitioners. Likewise, the student response test showed a very good response to the developed model. The video-assisted project-based learning model on YouTube in automotive engineering drawing subjects is very feasible to be applied in learning.

In this industrial era, all areas of life have been entered. There are five central issues that support performance, namely numerical physical devices, production tools, programs, interfaces, and networks. The Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (Moodle) in order to support Industrial technology has been equipped with adaptive test facilities. Adaptive Moodle can be used to organize a communicative and interactive test process because of the communication features (chat, messaging, or forum). In addition, Adaptive Moodle can be used to administer online tests. Adaptive tests are tests whose quiz presentations will adjust to the user’s abilities. The results of the research that has been carried out regarding the selection of items on the Moodle-based computerized adaptive test (CAT) were obtained: (1) The Moodle adaptive test worked successfully in accordance with the research objectives, (2) Based on user responses, the selection of items on the Moodle adaptive test items had worked well for the exam, (3) The Moodle adaptive test can run according to its function, namely adaptive to the user’s ability.
