This study was conducted to determine the level of egg production and consumption of purebred layer chickens for one year of COVID-19 and finding the dominant factors affecting layer chicken production and consumption in Central Lombok. Determination of the sample used purposive sampling method. The data collected in the form of primary data. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews with farmers and consumers using a structured questionnaire and then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed the number of population and egg production in Central Lombok before and after the COVID-19 has sequentially increased by 6.1 % and 5.6 %. Egg production was 49,127 eggs/d during the pandemic, which was previously 46,520 eggs/d. The average family consumption was 3-8 eggs/week, which was higher than the average regional consumption. The COVID-19 pandemic has no effect on production and consumption of chicken eggs. Expensive feed prices are the biggest problem faced by farmers during the COVID-19 pandemic

The focus of the study was on moods and modality in virtual communication. The purposes of the research were to analyze the moods and modalities used by the lectures for virtual teaching to evaluate the manner of the moods and modalities realized in virtual teaching and to investigate reasons underlying the use of moods and modalities in virtual teaching. The sources of data for this research were verbal and nonverbal language from the interactions of virtual teaching. The data were utterances and gestures produced by the lecturers. The research design was qualitative research. The data were collected through recorded videos, observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The techniques of analyzing the data were applying interactive data analysis: data condensation, data display, and drawing and verification conclusion. It was found that the lectures used various kinds of moods. The declarative mood was dominantly used. In terms of modality, both modalization and modulation types of modality were used. The value of the modality selected was low, medium, and high. The manner of the mood system was realized by both marked and unmarked ones. The modalities were realized through the integration of verbal and verbal modalities. The modalities were used to manage the classroom and create a pleasant and understandable teaching and learning atmosphere. The result of this study gives a new insight into the function of language in teaching through online mode.

During the covid-19 pandemic, there was a demand for online learning innovations that could meet the characteristics of elementary school students and develop HOTS for elementary school students. The goal of this study is to develop a STEM-based E-Student Worksheet to enhance valid and effective HOTS of elementary school students during the COVID-19 pandemic. HOTS measured in this study was the cognitive level C4, C5 and C6.This study used a four-dimensional model to conduct development research. The participants in this study were elementary school students in second grade as many as 60 students. The qualitative and quantitative data used in this study included observation sheets, documentation, questionnaires, and test questions. Qualitative data was analysed by collecting data, reducing data, and drawing conclusions, whereas quantitative data was analysed by applying the independent t-test. According to the study's findings, a STEM-based E-Student Worksheet had been developed to enhance elementary school students' valid and effective HOTS during the covid-19 pandemic. The findings of this study can be used by teachers to guide them through the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Perubahan sistem pembelajaran yang awalnya diterapkan di sekolah seperti pertemuan tatap muka antara siswa dan guru harus diubah menjadi pembelajaran online melalui perangkat dengan koneksi internet. Tentunya proses pembelajaran ini berdampak pada seluruh sekolah di Indonesia, khususnya di Pekanbaru, Riau. Alhasil, tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Islam Riau membantu mitra dalam mengurangi kesulitan dengan mengadakan pelatihan pemanfaatan Web Based Learning sebagai Media Pembelajaran. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan langsung di SD Islam Plus YLPI Pekanbaru, dengan menggunakan teknik pelatihan bagi para guru. Para guru diperkenalkan dengan berbagai media pembelajaran berbasis web yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran synchronous dan asynchronous selama pelatihan ini, dan tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat mendukung guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dianggap sesuai dan cocok untuk semua mata pelajaran di sekolah dasar.

The objective of this study was to get the empirical evidence of the effect of using small group discussion technique on students’ achievment in reading narrative text at the third year students of MTS AL-Washliyah 30 Pematang Guntung. The method used in this study was quantitative through quasi experimental research. The population was all the third year students of MTS AL-Washliyah 30 Pematang Guntung. The total sample was 60 students that were taken by using lecturing technique Instrument of this study was multiplechoise test. Before doing the treatment, the students in experimental class were given the pre-test. Then, the students were taught by using small group discussion technique. At the end of the treatments, the students were given a post-test. T-test was used to analyze the data. Value of tobserve is 4.75 and the degree of freedom (df) is 58, whereas the value t-table on the degree of significance of 5% is 1.67. The T-test revealed that the result is significant; it is determined by the value of t Obsever which is bigger than t table. Thus, Ha is accepted because there is significant effect of using small group discussion on students’reading narrative text ability. Therefore, it can be concluded that using small group discussion is effective to improve students reading narrative text ability at the third year students of MTS AL-Washliyah 30 Pematang Guntung.

The objective of the research was to determine whether there was a significant effect of the use of digital systems on the speaking skills of the students in Seventh Grade Junior High School. This research was a quantitative research with a quasy experimental design. It was conducted in seventh grade SMP Negeri 5 Tanjungbalai in the academic year 2020/2021. The total population was 93 students and researchers took 30 students for the experimental class and 30 students for the control class which meant 60 students as a total sample. In collecting data, researchers used orraly tests by speaking about the plot of the cartoon as instruments. Tests were pre-tests given before treatment and post tests given after treatment. Then, the data obtained were analyzed using t-test ar SPSS 16 with a significance level of 5% (0.05). Furthermore, the researcher found that the post –test mean score in the experimental class was higher than the control class (6.484 > 1.688). At a significant level of 5% (95% confidence level) which shows the score 18,976. The t-test result also showed that t0 (6.484) was higher than t table as a significance level of 5% (1.688). Therefore, the results of t0 > t table result that H0 (null hypothesis) was rejected and Ha (alternative hypotheiss) was accepted. The calculation of the effect size was 1.68 which was within the range of effect criteria including the strong effect. Thus, the use of the cartoon movie has a signficant effect on students’ speaking ability in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Tanjungbalai in academic year 2020/2021.

The addition of biofuel to diesel increases the fuel's stability, density, viscosity, energy content, and cetane number Blending biodiesel and diesel improves the viscosity of the combined fuel in comparison to diesel fuel. Recently, studies on optimizing the use of biodiesel diesel fuel have begun to examine the effects on diesel engine components and the energy conversion efficiency of biodiesel fuel use. The addition of supplements from other natural fuels is an effective option to improve energy conversion efficiency, but the blending effect causes changes in fuel properties. Therefore, further analysis is needed to meet the fuel standards used in diesel engines. This study is to obtain a clearer analysis of the effect of biofuel addition on diesel engine performance and exhaust emissions. Measurements of experiment variables such as Torque, thermal efficiency, power, bsfc, and gas emission obtained from sensors installed in each part of the laboratory scale of diesel engine. The result shows blends of biofuel and diesel can be used as alternative fuels in conventional diesel engines. The variation of power generated by both of fuel mixture shows average power without any major changes. The thermal efficiency of 30% biofuel average is better across all engine speed variations whereas the carbon monoxide variation decreases towards the same amount at 3000 rpm.

The ginger industry in East Aceh district is widely developed through home industries which are an important part of small and medium industries. This industry is mostly done by housewives on the sidelines of their busy household. The "Halia Instans" industry is one of the small businesses that develops processed ginger products. The raw materials for Instant Ginger will be processed through the following production process, first the ginger is washed clean or the soil is gone, then drained for a few seconds, then the ginger is blended, then after blending the finely ground ginger is squeezed using a machine and processed or cooked with an existing recipe so that produce ginger extract.. the results of the implementation of activities Encourage partners to cooperate with related parties in order to increase the production and marketing of Instant Ginger and add facilities to help increase ginger commodities in the overseas safe area, Industri jahe di kabupaten Aceh Timur industri jahe banyak dikembangkan melalui industri rumah tangga yang menjadi bagian penting industri kecil menengah. Industri ini banyak dilakukan oleh ibu-ibu rumah tangga di sela-sela kesibukan rumah tangga mereka. Industri “Halia Instans” adalah salah satu usaha kecil yang mengembangkan produk olahan jahe. Bahan baku Halia Instans akan diolah melalui proses produksi sebagai berikut, pertama jahe dicuci sampai bersih atau tanah sudah hilang, kemudian ditiriskan beberapa detik selanjutnya jahe diblender, kemudian setelah diblender jahe yang sudah halus diperas menggunakan mesin dan diolah atau dimasak dengan resep yang sudah ada sehingga menghasilkan ektrak halia.. hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan Mendorong mitra untuk melakukan kerja sama dengan pihak terkait dalam rangka peningkatan produksi dan pemasaran Halia Instan dan penambahan sarana untuk membantu peningkatan komoditas halia di daerahn rantau selamat.

Islamic guidance counseling is a process of assistance that is given periodically continuously (continuous) in order to deal with problems and increase religious awareness, so as to be able to provide high motivation and enthusiasm for life. Islamic boarding schools with students with different backgrounds must have different behaviors in carrying out the process of studying at pesantren. In this difference, there are female students who behave masculine, this behavior can cause negative things in the pesantren environment if there is no treatment. In this regard, action research is conducted using the REBT approach using Islamic guidance and counseling to address masculine behavior. The results show that the factors that shape masculine behavior in a female santri are psychological factors and environmental factors. Masculine behavior carried out including; wearing men's clothes, how to walk like a man, and in terms of sexuality related to the same sex. And the results of actions in cycles one and two indicate a change.

Solar distillation has been used to distill seawater into clean water. The distillation process is largely determined by the effectiveness of the evaporation and condensation processes. This study aimed to investigate the method of condensing air into the water and evaporator space on the effectiveness of the evaporation process. The solar distillation is designed as two units with a single basin type. Type-I solar distillation is designed with the evaporator and condenser chambers in one room. The solar distillation type-II is designed with a modified evaporator chamber so that water vapor can be circulated out and without a condenser room. The solar distillation length and width are 600 mm and 400 mm, respectively, which are made of a 0.6 mm thickness stainless steel plate. At the top, it is covered by a 5 mm thickness glass with a slope of 10°. The test was carried out for 7 days together between the type-I solar distillation and the type-II solar distillation. Data on raw water temperature, room temperature, glass surface temperature, ambient temperature, and solar intensity were recorded during the test. The data is recorded every 30 minutes starting at 08.00 GMT+7 until 17.30 GMT+7. The test results show that the solar distillation performance is influenced by the high and low solar intensity. The volume production of water vapor in the type-II solar distillation is greater than that of the type-I solar distillation. This shows that condensing air into the water and evaporator space can increase the evaporation process's effectiveness on the solar distillation.

Abortion in Indonesia, as in many other countries, constitutes a subject of controversy. It has provoked heated discussions from divergent point of views such as from ethical-religious, legal, medical and socio-political perspectives. Unfortunately, the Indonesian debates over abortion have not led to the formulation of a solution to the problem chiefly because of opposition to it on religious and moral grounds. As a result, the problem persists. The high rate of abortion in Indonesia each year continues to increase by approximately 2.3 millions, reflecting the consequence of the negligence to this complicated matter. Nevertheless, the latest Islamic legal response or fatwā(pl.fatāwā) issued by Majelis Ulama Indonesia/MUI (The Indonesian ‘Ulamā’ Council) Number 4/2005 seems to have generated a new debate intended to offer a solution for abortion from an Islamic perspective. In this fatwā, MUI not only presents Islamic legal opinions, but also addresses complicated issues regarding abortion, contending that abortion is not categorically forbidden. The fatwāattempts to mediate tensions between a strict state legal provision and the rising unsafe abortion that often claim many lives. It thus becomes a means of negotiation between moral and legal ideality and real ambiguity of abortion practices within the society.
