In the dynamic expansion of urban population, there arises a pressing need to establish well-defined parameters for parking spaces. The provision of parking plays a pivotal role in both residential complexes and commercial establishments. Ill-conceived roadside parking areas can result in severe traffic congestion, and at times, even lead to accidents. Different car sizes need different parking lot sizes. Therefore, given these factors, adaptable parking solutions have become imperative. Within the framework of the proposed research, the parking spaces in question are envisaged as rectangles, and a mathematical model has been devised within a fuzzy environment. Numerical examples are taken to illustrate the mathematical model. LINGO software is used to solve the mathematical model and MATLAB is used to define the fuzzy variable. At the outset the results will reveal the importance of making the length of the parking space in fuzzy environment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
