The article gives the semantic analysis of the surnames of the Svetlogorsk region citizens. Eleven lexico-semantic groups as the basis for surname formation were singled out. As a result, the authors of the study concluded that the most common surnames are those correlated with the names of professions, occupation, physical and physiological characteristics of a person.

As a result the researcher has come to the conclusion that the most common surnames are the ones that originated from professions, occupations, physical and physiological characteristics of a person. Fewer surnames are related to clothes and footwear, botanical and geographical names.

The article deals with the analysis of the semantic structure of nominative units contributing to the establishment of deep patterns of interaction between the structures of human consciousness and linguistic forms. A person's interpretation of the surrounding reality is the result of cognitive activity and is represented in mental structures that are mediators between the real or imagined environment and the language that objectifies them. Nominative possibilities of the linguistic picture of the world are realized by lexical units, which undergo the conceptual analysis to achieve the goal of linguistic-cognitive research for the reconstruction of the content of the HELP concept in particular. The object of the study is the language means for marking help as a property and its components in the modern English language. Notional aspect with its cognitive features of the concept and categorical dimension of property are interrelated in the organization of knowledge about characteristics of help. Language has proved to be effective for accessing the structures of data about the surrounding world which is the area of human physical and mental activity, as well as for exchanging knowledge and experience. As a part of cognitive process, the nominative act presupposes indulgence into the semantic content of language units which involves the analysis of meaningful connections between the lexemes. Conceptual analysis of verbalized segments of knowledge about characteristics of help promotes restoring the notional conceptual content related to understanding of the helping process in terms of its properties. The semantic content of the concept HELP is constructed due to the meaning of attributes to denote properties of help which make up the lexical-semantic group with the integral seme ²helpful². The lexeme ‘helpful’ comprises two notional segments with differentiating semes ²useful² and ²beneficial². Lexical units to designate the property of help constitute semantic subgroups in relation to the kind of help differentiated from the definitions of the lexemes., Стаття присвячена аналізу семантичної структури номінативних одиниць для встановлення глибинних закономірностей взаємодії між структурами людської свідомості та мовними формами. Інтерпретація людиною навколишньої дійсності – результат пізнавальної активності, представлена в когнітивних структурах, які є посередниками між реальним або уявним наколишнім середовищем та мовою, що їх об’єктивує. Номінативні можливості мовної картини світу реалізуються в значенні лексичних одиниць, які підлягають концептуальному аналізу для досягнення мети лінгвокогнітивного дослідження, зокрема реконструкції семантичного змісту концепту ДОПОМОГА. Об’єктом дослідження є мовні засоби на позначення допомоги як властивості та її складників у сучасній англійській мові. Понятійний аспект із його когнітивними поняттєвими ознаками та категоріальне знання про властивості взаємопов’язані в організації інформації про характеристики допомоги. Мова слугує ефективним інструментом для доступу до структур даних про навколишній світ, який є сферою фізичної та розумової діяльності людини, а також для обміну знаннями та досвідом. Як частина когнітивного процесу номінативний акт передбачає дослідження семантичного змісту мовних одиниць, що включає аналіз значеннєвих зв’язків між лексемами. Концептуальний аналіз вербалізованих сегментів знань про характеристики допомоги сприяє відновленню концептуального змісту, пов’язаного з розумінням процесу допомоги з позиції його властивостей. Семантичне наповнення концепту ДОПОМОГА представлено в семантиці атрибутів на позначення властивостей допомоги та її носія, які становлять лексико-семантичну групу з інтегральною семою ''helpful". Лексема helpful складається з двох змістовних сегментів із диференційними семами "useful" і "beneficial". Лексичні одиниці на позначення властивості допомоги утворюють семантичні підгрупи залежно від виду допомоги, що виділяються з визначень лексем.

The article considers the naming of minerals in the Middle Polissia dialects, since the traditional folk culture of the Polissia area remains a valuable material for scientific research in various branches of science. The studies have been based on the author’s field records obtained from 55 dialects of Zhytomyr Oblast, the north of Rivne Oblast and Kyiv Oblast. Current research materials concerning Ukrainian terminology for the earth’s interior have been analyzed and generalized; system description for traditional beliefs about mineral resources in the Middle Polissia dialects has been conducted on the basis of analysis of integrated cultural text. The main research methods include descriptive method, by which collected field records of dialect texts have been represented, and comparative method. During the analysis of the respondents’ narrations variety of terms for mineral resources designation on the territory of the Middle Polissia has been determined: clay, lime, ore, peat, rocks, sand, etc. The significance of the local earth’s interior in the human activity has been proved. The material of the research lexical clusters "Mineral nomination" has been classified, the main lexico-semantic groups have been identified: lexico-semantic group of mineral resources names in the Middle Polissia dialect; lexico-semantic group for designation of ceremonial actions connected with mineral extraction; lexico-semantic group of attributive characteristics of mineral resources; lexico-semantic group for designation of location of mineral resources deposits. The presented fragments of texts about the minerals indicate the preservation of mineral names in the Middle Polissia dialects, the motivation of names of localities depending on the local deposits of minerals., У статті розглянуто номінацію корисних копалин у середньополіських говірках, оскільки традиційна народна культура поліського ареалу – цінний матеріал для наукових студій у різних галузях наук. Джерельним підґрунтям дослідження слугували власні польові записи, зроблені автором у 55 говірках Житомирщини, півночі Рівненщини та Київщини. Проаналізовано й узагальнено матеріали сучасних досліджень про українську термінологію земних надр, здійснено системний опис традиційних найменувань корисних копалин у середньополіських говірках на основі аналізу цілісного культурного тексту. Основними методами дослідження обрано описовий, за допомогою якого репрезентовано зібраний методом польового дослідження матеріал діалектних текстів, та порівняльний. У процесі аналізу розповідей респондентів констатовано різноманітність назв корисних копалин на території Середнього Полісся: глина, вапно, руда, торф, каміння, пісок тощо та важливе значення місцевих земних надр у людській життєдіяльності. Скласифіковано матеріал досліджуваної тематичної групи лексики "Номінація корисних копалин", виокремлено основні лексико-семантичні групи: ЛСГ назв корисних копалин у середньополіських говірках; ЛСГ назв обрядових дій, пов’язаних із добуванням корисних копалин; ЛСГ атрибутивних ознак, характеристик корисних копалин; ЛСГ назв місць розташування покладів корисних копалин. Представлені фрагменти текстів про земні надра засвідчують збереження найменувань корисних копалин у середньополіських говірках, мотивацію поліських назв населених пунктів залежно від номінації місцевих родовищ.

The article presents the research of functioning of legal terms denoting crimes against individual in publicistic discourse. Статья посвящена семантическому и лингвокультурологическому описанию слов, входящих в лексико-семантическую группу существительных «Части растений». Исследование подобных языковых единиц актуально, так как при наличии культурно окрашенных компонентов они служат универсальными средствами познания, с помощью которых отражается национально-культурная специфика, зафиксированная в языке. Цель исследования заключается в описании лексических единиц, относящихся к ЛСГ «Части растений» как составная часть биоморфного кода в русской лингвокультуре, задачи исследования – провести лингвистический анализ данных слов, выявить и проанализировать их семантические и культурологические особенности. Научная новизна исследования состоит в том, что в работе впервые осуществлён лингвокультурологический анализ группы слов «Часть растений» как составной части биоморфного кода культуры. Теоретическая значимость исследования заключается в возможности использования полученных результатов для создания нового лингвокультурологического словаря. Практическая значимость видится в использовании полученных данных на занятиях по лексикологии, лексикографии и лингвокультурологии. В результате проведённого анализа были установлены семантические особенности выбранных лексических единиц, выделены их культурно-смысловые содержания, а также рассмотрены и проанализированы некоторые конкретные наблюдения и выводы относительно их функционирования в речи., The article is devoted to the semantic and linguocultural description of the words included in the lexico-semantic group of nouns “parts of plants.” The study of such linguistic units is relevant, since in the presence of culturally colored components they serve as universal means of cognition, with the help of which national and cultural specificity, recorded in the language, is reflected. The aim of the research is to describe the lexical units belonging to the LSG “parts of plants” as a part of the biomorphic code in the Russian linguistic culture, the objectives of the study are to conduct a linguistic analysis of these words, to identify and analyze their semantic and culturological features. Scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time in the work the linguocultural analysis of the group of words “part of plants” is carried out, considering them as a part of the biomorphic code of culture. The theoretical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the results of the study to create a new linguocultural dictionary. The practical significance is seen in the use of the obtained data in the classes of lexicology, lexicography and linguoculturology. As a result of the analysis the semantic features of the selected lexical units were established, their cultural and semantic contents were highlighted, as well as some specific observations and conclusions concerning their functioning in speech were considered and analyzed.

В данной работе проводится анализ семантики, сочетаемостии функционирования в тексте интенсификаторов глагольного действия французскогоязыка. На материале более чем 3000 примеров из современных драматургическихи прозаических произведений французских авторов были рассмотрены особенности системной организации языковых средств выражения интенсивности действия, в чем видится актуальность данного исследования. Установлено, что интенсификаторы организуются в лексико-семантические парадигмы, однако их четкой закрепленностиза определенными лексико-семантическими группами глаголов не обнаружено, а, следовательно, они не представляют собой систему грамматизованных средств., French verbal intensifiers semantics, campatibility and functioning in the textare examined. 3000 tokens from modern dramatic and prosaik works of French authors wereanalyzed. Данная статья посвящена лексико-семантической группе «квартира» в современном русском языке. Цель нашего исследования заключается в анализе особенностей и функционирования существительных, входящих в группу «квартира». В статье рассмотрено понятие «лексико-семантическая группа», проанализированы единицы группы «квартира» на основе их толкования в различных словарях и научных справочниках. Описаны взаимоотношения между лексическими единицами и структура лексико-семантической группы «квартира», выявлены особенности функционирования её единиц в русском языке. В результате проведённого исследования сделаны следующие выводы. Лексические единицы группы «квартира» пополняются благодаря актуализации устаревших слов и заимствованию из разных языков. По мере усиливающегося процесса урбанизации появляются новые городские типы жилища, чтобы удовлетворять потребностям увеличения городского населения. Можно считать, что слова лексико-семантической группы «Квартира» могут отражать урбанизационный процесс., The article is dedicated to a lexical and semantic group “flat” in modern Russian. The purpose of the research is to analyze features and functioning of nouns included in the group “flat”. The article considers the concept of “lexico-semantic group”, analyzes units of the “flat” group based on their interpretation in various explanatory dictionaries and scientific reference books, describes relationship between them and the structure of the lexico-semantic group “flat”, identifies features of functioning of units of the “flat” group in modern Russian language. As a result of the conducted research, the following conclusions are made. The composition of the study group is replenished due to the return and updating of obsolete words and borrowings from different languages. As the process of urbanization intensifies, new urban types of housing are emerging to meet the needs of an increasing urban population. It can be assumed that the words of the lexico-semantic group “flat” can reflect the urbanization process.

Особенности культуры и образ жизни каждого народа выражаются его языком, ввиду этого закрепление, систематизация и описание лексики охоты в тувинском языкознании остается одной из актуальных задач., The work is devoted to the description of the hunting vocabulary of Tuvans in the language picture of the world. Tuvans are a nomadic people who have long been engaged in hunting, and therefore used and still use the vocabulary of hunting in their speech. The words that are part of this lexical and semantic group reflect the uniqueness of the culture and life of the Tuvan people. The hunting vocabulary reflects the language picture of the world of Tuvans. But at present, this unique vocabulary is becoming little used, imperceptibly disappearing from the language. The peculiarities of culture and way of life of each nation are expressed in its language, therefore, fixing, systematization and description of the hunting vocabulary in Tuvan linguistics remains one of the urgent tasks.

Antonyms-nouns by lexical meanings can be divided into semantic subgroups. Not all nouns of the Even language can form antonymic pairs.

The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the lexical-semantic group "Emotions" in the Russian and Chinese languages. Lexemes characterizing the internal mental state of a person are divided into two mini-groups: emotions by the nature of the assessment (positive emotional state / negative emotional state) and emotions by the nature of intensity (strong / weak). Статья посвящена сопоставительному анализу лексико-семантической группы «Эмоции» в русском и китайском языках. Лексемы, характеризующие внутреннее психическое состояние человека, разделены на две минигруппы: эмоции по характеру оценки (позитивное эмоциональное состояние / негативное эмоциональное состояние) и эмоции по характеру интенсивности (сильные / слабые).

Рассматривается семантическая группа глаголов звучания на материале поэтических текстов Роберта Рождественского из трехтомного собрания сочинений, охватывающего творческую деятельность поэта с 1951 по 1985 г. Особое внимание уделено глаголам, которые обозначают звуки, издаваемые неживой природой, неодушевленными предметами и человеком. На основе обширного корпуса процессуальных единиц (около 1 500), содержащих в своем значении сему «звук», делается попытка выявить особенности употребления и функционирования звуковых глаголов в поэзии Р. Рождественского, так как глаголы именно этой группы выступают специфическими маркерами оригинальной манеры письма Рождественского, его поэтического почерка. Новизна работы заключается в том, что поэтический язык Роберта Рождественского до сих пор не был предметом специального исследования.

Повесть «Невский проспект» Н. В. Гоголя, неоднократно становившаяся предметом рефлексии на протяжении двух веков, интересна исследователям своей многогранностью и неисчерпаемостью возможностей интерпретации. Ставится цель – систематизировать глагольную лексику повести по лексико-семантическим группам и на основе количественного показателя, а также элементов компонентного анализа семантики глаголов продемонстрировать типологические и ментальные различия между героями. Данные различия неоднократно становились предметом рефлексии гоголеведов, однако, на наш взгляд, они заложены не только на идейно-смысловом уровне произведения, но прежде всего на языковом.

В статье на примере слов, объединенных дифференциально-семантической семой «украшения и аксессуары к одежде», рассматриваются особенности организации бытовой лексики хантыйского языка. Все выявленные лексемы можно разделить на три группы: «Украшения, изготовленные на основе ткани», «Украшения, изготовленные из металла, бисера, стекла (стеклярус) или камней», «Аксессуары к одежде». Лексемы распределяются по этим трем группам; в свою очередь, внутри этих групп возможно дополнительное разграничение с учетом таких прагматических признаков, как «нательные украшения», «головные украшения», «украшения для одежды», «украшения и аксессуары для мужчин / для женщин / для детей», «орнаментированные изделия (верхняя одежда, платья, обувь)», «способ изготовления / наличие дополнительных элементов». Отмечается две основные функции украшений: утилитарная и декоративная. Исторически утилитарная функция предшествовала декоративной, о чем говорят и данные компаративистики. Тогда как слова, имеющие отношение к собственно украшательству и утонченности, изыску появились уже позднее, в период отдельного развития финно-угорских и самодийских языков. Что касается функциональных особенностей лексем, то большая их часть в силу известных причин (в частности влияния современной моды, экономических и культурных связей с другими народами – родственными и неродственными и т.д.) стали историзмами и архаизмами, The article uses the example of words united by the differential semantic seme “jewelry and accessories for clothing” to consider features of organization of household vocabulary of the Khanty language. All lexemes that name jewelry and accessories for clothing, depending on the material from which they are made, can be divided into three groups: “jewelry made on the basis of fabric”, “jewelry made of metal, glasses (bugle), beads or stones”, “clothing accessories”. Terms are divided into these three groups; in turn, within these groups, additional differentiation is possible, taking into account such pragmatic features as “body jewelry”, “head jewelry”, “clothing jewelry”, “jewelry and accessories for men / women / children”, “ornamented products (outerwear, dresses, shoes)”, “method of manufacture / availability of additional elements”. There are two main functions of jewelry: utilitarian and decorative. Historically, the utilitarian function preceded the decorative one, as evidenced by the comparative data. While the words related to the proper decoration and refinement, refinement appeared later, during the separate development of the Finno-Ugric and Samoyedic languages. As for the functional features of lexemes, most of them for certain reasons (in particular, the influence of modern fashion, economic and cultural ties with other peoples – related and unrelated, etc.) have led to the fact that many words have become historicisms and archaisms.

Введение. На современном этапе подлинным идеалом правовой демократии является обеспечение права граждан участвовать в управлении делами государства, в частности избирать и быть избранными в органы публичной власти и на выборные публичные должности. Фундаментальной основой народовластия в демократическом государстве выступают свободные выборы. В этой связи рассматривается термин свободные выборы с точки зрения его нормативного и литературного закрепления. Анализируются международные и внутригосударственные акты в области прав и свобод человека и гражданина, закрепляющие наименование данного принципа избирательного права. Цель. Исследование лексико-семантической конструкции принципов избирательного права обуславливает понимание истинной ценности свободных выборов как основы народовластия. В свою очередь, свободные выборы в силу своего закрепления в качестве одной из основ конституционного строя Российской Федерации могут претендовать на роль метапринципа в системе фундаментальных избирательных начал. Методология. Достижению поставленной цели способствовало применение как общенаучных, так и специальных методов познания социально-правовых явлений (сравнительно-правовой метод, метод правового моделирования). Результаты. Обозначенная в работе позиция автора опирается на международные и внутригосударственные правовые акты в области прав человека, а также на мнения представителей юридической науки, предлагающих различные подходы к определению принципа свободных выборов и его положению в конструкции существующих принципов избирательного права. Заключение. В результате проведённого исследования определяется необходимость использования нормативно закреплённого в наименовании сочетания частей речи принцип свободных выборов . Делается вывод о том, что свободные выборы в совокупности со всеобщим, равным и прямым избирательным правом при тайном голосовании представляют одну лексико-семантическую группу определений. Однако свободные выборы можно при этом наделить особой, ведущей ролью., Introduction. At the present stage, the true ideal of legal democracy is to ensure the right of citizens to participate in the management of state affairs, in particular, to elect and be elected to public authorities and to elected public offices. The fundamental basis of democracy in a democratic state are free elections. In this regard, the term free elections is considered from the point of view of its normative and literary consolidation. The article analyzes the international and domestic acts in the field of human and civil rights and freedoms, fixing the name of this principle of suffrage. Purpose. The study of lexical and semantic construction of the principles of electoral law determines the understanding of the true value of free elections as the basis of democracy. In turn, free elections by virtue of its consolidation as one of the foundations of the constitutional system of the Russian Federation can claim the role of a metaprinciple in the system of fundamental electoral principles. Methodology. The achievement of this goal was facilitated by the use of both general scientific and special methods of cognition of social and legal phenomena (comparative legal method, method of legal modeling). Results. The authors position is based on international and domestic legal acts in the field of human rights, as well as on the opinions of representatives of legal science, offering different approaches to the definition of the principle of free elections and its position in the construction of existing principles of electoral law. Conclusion. As a result of the conducted research the necessity of use of the combination of parts of speech which is standardly fixed in the name the principle of free elections is defined. It is concluded that free elections in conjunction with universal, equal and direct suffrage by secret ballot represent one lexical and semantic group of definitions. Статтю присвячено актуальній проблемі формування системи кольороназв, зокрема середньоукраїнського періоду. Встановлено основні джерела виникнення кольороназв: полісемія, лексико-морфологічні засоби, запозичення. Мовна традиція XIV – XVIII ст. засвідчує активне використання кольороназв, відомих іще в XI – XIII ст., що є показником високого ступеня збереження спільнослов’янського лексичного шару в аналізованій групі. Установлены основные источники возникновения цветообозначений: полисемия, лексико-морфологические средства, заимствования. Языковая традиция XIV–XVIII вв. свидетельствует об активном использовании цветообозначений, известных еще в XI–XIII вв., является показателем высокой степени сохранения общеславянского лексического слоя в анализируемой группе. Доказано, что к концу XVII в. окончательно сформировалась лексико-семантическая группа цветообозначений., In linguistics, the attention of linguists constantly attracts the question of the history of the formation and development of individual thematic groups at different stages of the language, in particular, the interest of researchers to the history of color names has increased considerably. In general, the diachronic study of color names, in particular the Middle Ukrainian period, is important for the formation process, the functioning of the subject group under consideration, and the identification of the regularities of the formation of the historical lexicology of the Ukrainian language in general. This led to the choice of the topic of the article and its relevance. The purpose of the article is to determine the specificity of the existence of Ukrainian nomens for the designation of the colors of the Middle Ukrainian period. The object of the study is the lexical-semantic group of color names. The subject is the functioning of this thematic group, revealing the patterns of registration of groups and microgroups of color names. Methods of research are predetermined by the purpose and tasks put in the article. The main ones are descriptive with its universal methods of observing, systematizing and interpreting linguistic facts and phenomena, studying the structure of semantic color filling, and the method of statistical calculations. Divergent materials point to the specifics, the national originality of the Ukrainian language, and substantiate the tendencies of the evolutionary formation of the lexical-semantic group of color names, testifying to its steady development. The sources of the occurrence of color titles are polysemy (the use of objects, objects of nature with a certain color to create new color names); lexical-morphological means (complex words, special words for the transmission of shades); loan. The proof of high valence of color renders is white, black, red is a series of derivatives, complex derivatives, synonymous rows. The name of the mixed colors is evidenced by diffuse phenomena in the language. Quantitative indicators are drawn to attention: the names of black, white, and yellow are mainly represented in one color, while blue, and especially red, is low. The Proto-Slavic heritage is the main names of animals, some borrowed from the Turkic languages. Originally, some tokens reach the Indo-European period (white, black, red), others are formed on the grounds of the Proto-Slavic, Old Ukrainian languages (blue, gray, green), the middle-Ukrainian period, or borrowed at different times from other languages. The linguistic tradition of the XIV–XVIII centuries. testifies to the active use of color names known in the XI–XIII centuries, which is an indicator of the high degree of preservation of the Common Slavic lexical layer in the analyzed group. In the XVI–XVII centuries. the number of colourolexes increases significantly due to new nominations, derivatives and borrowings. By the end of the XVII century finally formed a lexical-semantic group of color attributes. Diachronic analysis of semantics of color names reveals trends in its development, creates a ground for further in-depth study of lexical-semantic groups of color names.

Стаття присвячена зіставному дослідженню лексико-семантичних особливостей лексики на позначення комунікативногоконфлікту як складової лексико-семантичної групи «Конфліктні дії» всучасних українській та англійській мовах. Доcлідження базується напоєднанні лінгвістичних методів дослідження з формалізованим аналізомлексичної семантики в зв’язку з необхідністю різнобічного підходу додосліджуваної проблеми, яка з лінгвістичної точки зору представляєособливий інтерес. Виявлено якісні та кількісні характеристики, спільні йвідмінні риси тематичної групи в українській та англійській мовах тавстановлено структурні компоненти комунікативного конфлікту, а такожосновні фактори виникнення непорозумінь, в основі яких лежать лінгвальніта екстралінгвальні чинники., The present paper deals with the comparative study of the lexico-semantic peculiarities of the communicative conflict lexis as a constituent part ofthe lexico-semantic group «Conflict actions» in Modern Ukrainian and English.The investigation is based on combining linguistic methods of research with theformalized analysis of lexical semantics due to the necessity of the multilateralapproach to the under study problem which from a linguistic point of view is ofspecial interest. Qualitative and quantitative characteristics as well as commonand distinctive features of the investigated thematic group in Ukrainian andEnglish have been revealed. The structural components of the communicativeconflict, main factors of misunderstandings based on lingual and extralingualfactors have been established. While comparing the system and structuralorganization of the thematic group in the languages under study, differences inquantitative characteristics over qualitative values prevail. The comparativeanalysis has shown that forms and means of communicative conflict realizationpartly coincide in Ukrainian and English. Moreover, in both languages the cause69of quarrels, disputes and arguments lies in wrong organization of communication,the lack of feedback and mutual understanding, too brutal behavior and position,the lack of flexibility and tactics. It is a verbal manifestation of conflict actions,which indicates a significant communicative-pragmatic potential of the lexicalunits under study

В статье представлены результаты корпусного анализа элементов лексико-семантической группы масть лошади , проводимого на материале русскоязычных художественных произведений. Предметом исследования служит частотность и сочетаемость слов, используемых для обозначения мастей лошадей. Изучение характеристик рассматриваемых лексем позволяет формулировать закономерности, которые регулируют функционирование названий мастей в художественной литературе. В статье представлена информация о сочетаемости и особенностях употребления тридцати шести лексем, употребляемых для описания окраса лошади., This article presents the results of the corpus analysis of the elements included in the lexico-semantic group of horse colour names extracted from Russian literary works. The research focused on frequency and compatibility of words that are used to describe horse colours. Studying these characteristics of lexemes reveals patterns that control the functioning of color names in the works of fi ction.
