Darbs ir veltīts koncepta kā starpdisciplināra termiņa izpētei mūsdienu zinātniskajā paradigmā. Autore pēta attiecības starp kultūras un mākslas konceptiem kā kolektīvās un individuālās apziņas vienībām, izmantojot koncepta “Kaščeja Nemirstīgā” piemēru, tā reprezentācija mūsdienu krievu literatūrā. Pateicoties J. Stepanova identificētajai koncepta trīs slāņu struktūrai, šķiet, ka mūsdienu slāvu fantāzijas žanra literatūrā ir iespējams izpētīt pašreizējo koncepta “Kaščeja Nemirstīgā” slāni, kas sniedz priekšstatu par mūsdienu pārstāvībam, kas ietvertas “Kaščeja Nemirstīgā” konceptā, sadalot tās komponentus uz stereotipiskiem un individuāliem Darbs varētu interesēt pētniekus, kuri nodarbojas ar starpdisciplināriem jautājumiem , jo īpaši pētot kognitivistikas terminu ieviešanas lietderību literārzinātnes diskursā; kulturologus un folkloristus, kas pēta kultūras konceptus un brīnumu pasaku tēlu reprezentācijas mūsdienu literatūrā, kā arī visi lasītāji, kurus interesē šis jautājums., The work is devoted to the study of the concept as an interdisciplinary term in the modern scientific paradigm. The author studies the relationship between cultural and literary concepts as units of collective and individual consciousness on the example of the concept “Koschey the Immortal”, its representations in modern Russian literature. Thanks to the three-layer structure of the concept identified by Y. Stepanov, it seems possible to study the current layer of the concept of “Koshchey the Immortal” in the modern literature of the Slavic fantasy genre, which gives a picture of modern ideas embodied in the concept of “Koschey the Immortal”, dividing its components into stereotypical and individually authored ones. The work may be of interest to researchers involved in interdisciplinarity, in particular, studying the feasibility of introducing cognitive terms into the discourse of literary criticism; culturologists and folklorists exploring the representations in modern literature of cultural concepts and images from a fairy tales, as well as all readers interested in this issue.

Darbs ir veltīts koncepta “mokas” salīdzinošajam aprakstam krievu un latviešu valodiskajā pasaules redzējumā. Tā mērķis ir atklāt, aprakstīt un salīdzināt komponentus, kas ietilpst krievu koncepta “мучение“ un latviešu koncepta “mokas” struktūrā un kas ir atainoti vārdu мука, мучение, мучиться un mokas, mocības, mocīties, kas visbiežāk verbalizē šos konceptus, nozīmēs. Izmantojot semantiskās analīzes metodes sinhronijā un daļēji diahronijā, autore aplūko vārdu мука, мучение, мучиться un mokas, mocības, mocīties leksikogrāfiskās definīcijas krievu un latviešu skaidrojošās vārdnīcās, kā arī to lietošanas kontekstus krievu un latviešu valodā. Turklāt tiek analizēti rezultāti, kas iegūti asociatīvā eksperimenta rīkošanas ceļā. Darbs sastāv no četrām daļām. Pirmajā daļā tiek aplūkoti konceptu izpētes galvenie teorētiskie jautājumi, otrajā tiek noteikta produktīvākā pieeja to salīdzinošajam aprakstam; trešajā un ceturtajā daļā secīgi, atbilstoši izvirzītiem uzdevumiem, tiek atklāti, aprakstīti un salīdzināti komponenti, kas ietilpst konceptu “мучение” un “mokas” struktūrā. Pētījums var ieinteresēt kognitīvos lingvistus, psiholingvistus un kulturologus, kā arī visus, kam ir interese par šiem jautājumiem., The thesis is dedicated to a comparative description of the concept “torment” in the Russian and Latvian linguistic world vision. Its aim is to elicit, to describe and to compare the components present in the structure of the Russian concept “мучение” and the Latvian concept “mokas” and reflected in the meanings of the words мука, мучение, мучиться and mokas, mocības, mocīties, which verbalise these concepts most frequently. By using methods of semantic analysis in synchrony and partly in diachrony, the author considers the lexicographic definitions of the words мука, мучение, мучиться and mokas, mocības, mocīties in Russian and Latvian explanatory dictionaries, as well as their Russian and Latvian use contexts. Besides, one analyses the results received by means of an associative experiment. The thesis consists from four parts. In the first part, the main theoretical issues of the research on concepts are considered. In the second part, the most fruitful approach to their comparative description is determined. In the third and fourth parts, in accordance with the predetermined tasks, the components present in the structure of the concepts “мучение” and “mokas” get elicited, described and compared, consecutively. The study might be of interest for cognitive linguists, psycholinguists and culturologists, as well as all those interested in the questions raised.

U radu se obrađuje pojam metafore prema G. Lakoffu i M. Johnsonu, donose se aspekti i koncepti po kojima se metafore grade, kako utječu na naše mišljenje, djelovanje i shvaćanje svijeta. Podjela metafora prema sustavnosti, prostornoj orijentaciji, kulturnoj koherentnosti i ostalim kriterijima koji su važni za razumijevanju metafore. U radu je također stavljen naglasak na važnosti metafore u našem svakodnevnom životu i na metaforama koje su toliko usustavljene u jeziku da se više ne odnosimo prema njima kao prema metaforama već kao izrazima koji upotpunjuju naše shvaćanje svijeta i bez kojih naše razumijevanje možda ne bi bilo isto. Metafora je temeljito obrađena radi boljeg razumijevanja i radi mogućnosti interpretacija na temelju metafore. U drugom dijelu rada tema metaforičnosti jezika se obrađuje na primjerima religioznih tekstova Bhagavad – gite i Biblije, donosi se vlastita interpretacija istih pomoću prethodno objašnjenog pojma metafore. The main topic of this work is metaphor. I am bringing the concepts of metaphor according to G. Lakoff ’s and M. Johnson’s book Metaphors We Live By. I am also bringing the aspects and concepts on which metaphores are builded and constructed on, discretly affecting our thinking, functioning and understanding of the world. Metaphors are divided by systematics, spatial orientation, cultural coherence and other criterias which are important for understanding metaphors. In this work it is also putted a highlight on importance of metaphor in our everyday life and also on metaphors which are ingrained (rooted) so much in the language that we do not relate to them as metaphors any more but expressions that fulfill our understanding of the world and without it our understanding would not be the same. Metaphor is closely and throughtly processed for better understanding and for the main possibility of interpretation. In second part of work, the subject of metaphorical language is elaborated on examples of religious texts Bhagavad – gita and Holy Bible, establishing the own main interpretation itself by previously explained concept of metaphor.

Bakalaura darbs ir izvēlēts, pamatojoties uz Bībeles tekstiem “Svētieties un esiet svēti, jo es esmu Kungs, jūsu Dievs.” (3. M 20:7) un “Jo ir rakstīts: esiet svēti, jo es esmu svēts!” (1. Pēt 1:16) un par šo tekstu adaptāciju Baznīcu doktrīnās, Reformācijas laikmetā un arī pirms reformācijas teoloģiskajā disputā. Dārbā pirmkārt tiek aprakstīts pētījums un autora novērotais, par Mārtiņa Lutera rakstīto un īpaši “Vienprātības grāmatā” atainoto luteriskajā mācībā un praksē atiecībā uz svēttapšanu. Darbā tiek izmantoti Bībeles un vairāk Jaunās Derības teksti. Tāpat arī darbā tiek nedaudz aplūkota Mārtiņa Lutera klasiskā doktrīna par attaisnošanu, par žēlastību un svēttapšanu un arī citu teologu skaidrojums un mācību viedokļi par šo pašu tēmu, un Jaunajā Derībā izteiktās mācības/doktrīnas un pārliecības. Autors mēģinās darbā arī norādīt uz kādām atkāpēm no Mārtiņa Lutera izteiktā, ja tādas varētu būt., Thesis of bachelor's research are based on the Biblical texts: “Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am Jehovah your God.” (Exodus 20:7) and “Because it is written, Ye shall be holy; for I am holy.” (1. Peter 1:16) And the adaptation of this text to the era of the Reformation as well as before the reformation of the theological dispute. Thesis first explores how Lutheran teachings and practices regarding sanctification reflect Martin Luther's writings and, in particular, the Book of Consensus. Similarly, Martin Luther's classical doctrine of justification, mercy and sanctification is also briefly dealt with, as well as explanation and teaching from other theologians on the same subject, and the teachings/doctrines and beliefs expressed in the New Testament. The author will also attempt to indicate some derogations from Martin Luther, if any.

Master's work. – Riga, 2016. – 60 p. This study researches media discourses. The author focuses on the image of the modern woman, which simulates the female glossy magazine. The study is based on the linguistic and pragmatic analysis of the basic concepts of women everyday life. The aim of the research is identification of the interest and values of the women that are living in Latvia. Literature that has been reviewed is mainly articles about the food and clothing from popular magazine «Lilit". Research can be recommended to the philologists, journalists, gender researchers and to anyone that is interested in the "glossy" media activities. Dotais pētījums tiek veltīts metaforu kā krāsas koncepta tulkojuma problēmai Gundegas Repšes romānā „Sarkans”. Autora uzmanības centrā – daiļdarba tekstā realizētās konceptuālas krāsu metaforas un to ekvivalenta tulkojuma problēma. Par pētījuma mērķi kalpo krāsu metaforu literāras tulkošanas konceptuāla aspekta problēmas atklāšana. Darbam piemīt starpdisciplinārs raksturs, tāpēc tas var vienādi ieinteresēt gan filologus, gan tulkotājus, kā arī pārējos, kuri interesējas par latviešu rakstnieces Gundegas Repšes daiļradi., The current work is dedicated to the question of artistic translation of metaphors as the concept of colour encountered in the novel written by Gundega Repše – “The red.” The conceptual metaphors of colour realised in the literary text lie in the core of the author’s attention. The aim of the research work is the artistic translation from Latvian into Russian language of the novel’s fragments that present particular complications for the implementation of the equivalent translation due to the conceptual metaphors of colour found in the text. The following research paper has an interdisciplinary nature, being able to provoke equal interest of the philologists, translators, as well as those who have a general interest in the works of the Latvian writer Gundega Repše.
