This article explores the connection between lifelong learning and readiness for online learning. The study conducted surveys with university students and found a positive relationship between the two concepts. Women and postgraduate students were found to have higher levels of readiness for both lifelong learning and online learning. The study emphasizes the importance of lifelong learning in preparing individuals for online education. The article also discusses the methodology used in the study, including the measurement tools and data analysis techniques. Overall, the findings suggest that gender and educational level play a role in individuals' readiness for lifelong learning and online learning. In this research, it is aimed to examine the readiness for online education of teachers who are members of the eTwinning platform (eTwinner) and who take part in the project processes that present a quality label as a result, in the context of demographic and technology usage variables and to develop suggestions in this direction. The research, based on the cross-sectional survey model, was carried out with 384 teachers working in Eskişehir and registered on the eTwinning portal in the 2022-2023 academic year. The K--12 Teachers' Online Teaching Readiness Scale was applied. In the analysis of the data, a t-test was used for variables with two sublevels, and one-way ANOVA was used for the variables with more than two sublevels. In case of a difference in the ANOVA test, post-hoc tests were used to determine the pairwise differences. The results showed that the average level of readiness for online education of eTwinner teachers working in Eskişehir is high and the group with the highest readiness for online education is teachers with a service period of 1-10 years. Among the factors of educational technology proficiency, learner readiness, and relative usefulness, male teachers were more than female. On the other hand, it is a remarkable result in the research that female teachers have higher proficiency in pedagogical and ethical competency than male teachers, and that postgraduate teachers in technical and pedagogical, and ethical competence have higher proficiency than those with undergraduate degrees. Bu araştırmanın amacı; bir devlet ile bir vakıf üniversitesinde, meslek yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşluk düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Tarama modelinde desenlenen araştırmanın örneklemini 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz döneminde İngilizce I dersini alan birinci sınıf ön lisans öğrencileri (n=1392) oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri kişisel bilgi formu ile Demir (2015) tarafından geliştirilen ve altı boyuttan oluşan ‘Üniversite Öğrencilerinin E-öğrenmeye Hazırbulunuşluk Ölçeği’ ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma gibi betimsel analizler ile bağımsız gruplar t-testi, Scheffe ve Games-Howell testi hesaplamalarından oluşan tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye ilişkin genel hazırbulunuşluk düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ölçeğin alt boyutlarına göre incelendiğinde öğrencilerin “internet öz-yeterliği” boyutunda çok yüksek, “çevrimiçi iletişim öz-yeterliği”, bilgisayar öz-yeterliği”, “kendi kendine öğrenme” ve “öğrenen kontrolü” boyutlarında yüksek, “e-öğrenmeye yönelik motivasyon” boyutunda ise düşük düzeyde hazırbulunuşluğa sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Çevrimiçi öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşluk, ölçeğin genelinde cinsiyete göre farklılık göstermezken, “bilgisayar öz-yeterliği”, “internet öz-yeterliği” ve “çevrimiçi iletişim öz-yeterliği” boyutlarında erkekler; “kendi kendine öğrenme” alt boyutunda ise kadınlar lehine anlamlı bir fark göstermektedir. Yaşa göre, ölçeğin genelinde ve “e-öğrenmeye yönelik motivasyon” alt boyutunda yaşı büyük öğrencilerin lehine anlamlı farklılık bulunmaktadır. İnternete erişim olanağına göre, ölçeğin genelinde ve tüm alt boyutlarda internet erişim imkânı daha çok olan öğrencilerin lehine anlamlı farklılık bulunmaktadır. Son olarak, çevrimiçi ortamda ders alma deneyimine göre, ölçeğin genelinde ve “e-öğrenmeye yönelik motivasyon” boyutu hariç diğer alt boyutlarda çevrimiçi ders alma deneyimine sahip olan öğrencilerin lehine anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmaktadır.

8. Sınıf öğrencilerinin fen bilimleri dersi bilgilerini günlük yaşam ile ilişkilendirebilme düzeyleri bu araştırma ile tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Şehit Önder Pınar Ortaokulu 8. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 62 (41 erkek ve 21 kız) öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma için tekil tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilere, fen bilimleri konularının günlük yaşamla ilişkisini içeren ve 10 tane açık uçlu sorudan oluşan “Kavramları Günlük Yaşamla İlişkilendirebilme Testi” (KGYİT) uygulanmıştır. Çalışmadaki veriler “tam anlama”, “kısmen anlama”, “belirli bir kavram yanılgısı ile kısmen anlama”, “belirli bir kavram yanılgısı” ve “anlaşılmama” kategorilerini kapsayan değerlendirme kriterleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilen cevaplara göre cinsiyet değişkeni açısından öğrencilerin fen kültürüne ne ölçüde sahip oldukları araştırılmıştır. Veriler IBM SPSS-17 Statistics programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma soruları ayrı ayrı analiz edilmiş, kategorilere ait frekans (f), yüzde (%) değerleri ve bağımsız örneklem t-testi bulguları verilmiştir. Öğrencilerin cevaplarından direk alıntılara yer verilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguarı öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun test sorularına verdikleri cevapların “anlaşılmama” ve “belirli bir kavram yanılgısı” kategorisinde olduğunu göstermiştir.

Muhtars (headmen of neighborhood) are elected for a certain period of time by direct votes of local people, mostly from local people. This leads them to build closer ties with the local community, to know closely local problems and needs, and to become a rich source of data on their neighborhoods. With these characteristics, muhtars have the potential to become important actors in community-based disaster governance and in its essential stage of preparedness. But to what extent do muhtars play or are allowed to play this role? Are muhtars natural partners of governance in terms of disaster preparedness? These questions constitute the problematic of this paper. The paper aims to examine special status of community-based disaster management in Turkey within the framework of a case study of Balikesir, which is one of the provinces where of many natural disaster risks are felt intensely. In doing so the study is focused on muhtars whose role in natural disaster governance is generally neglected. The paper uses data obtained from 50 muhtars using an in-depth interview technique with a phenomenological methodology. The most important finding is that due to the tendency of the political elite to ignore and not include local knowledge, the muhtars are excluded from the disaster preparedness processes and their potential contribution is limited. Disaster preparedness refers to reduction of risks and dangers caused by disasters by planning, applications, and assessments, starting from households up to national level. This article aims to develop a universal scale for measuring disaster preparedness of households using Balıkesir sample. This article is consists of four main parts. In first part of this article, concept of preparedness is examined and definition of preparedness is given. In addition to this, the scales developed for measuring preparedness are analyzed, compared and presented. In second part the preparing of sampling from universe Balıkesir is explained in numbers (N=1134). Inclusiveness of the research was made by deciding on number of questionnaire and places where they will be applied which are presented through tables. In third part the findings are presented. Confirmatory factor analysis which is made after explanatory factor analysis revealed the goodness of fit indexes. Based on that the processes and decision of making another model for the scale and for removing items are explained in detail. In continuing parts of findings, the new goodness of fit findings and factor table are given again. One of the most important part of developing scale namely path diagram made by LISREL is presented. This study aims to analyze the validity and reliability of the Developmental Primary School Readiness Scale (DPSRS) that will be used to determine the primary school readiness of 44-69 -month- old children. The DPSRS was developed based on HighScope's Key Developmental Indicators and literature related to cultural and educational differences. The participants of the study consisted of 428 preschoolers who attended a preschool education institution in Turkey. Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor analyzes were conducted to examine the construct validity of the DPS. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, 59 items in the scale were grouped under 8 factors. This 8-factor structure of the scale explained 81.03% of the total variance. It was also confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis. The internal consistency coefficient of the DPSRS was .96 and the split-half reliability coefficient was .95. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that Developmental Primary School Readiness Scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool that will be able to use to determine primary school readiness of 4469 -month- old children. The child interacts primarily with family members from an early age and then communicates and interacts with many people in the social environment throughout the pre-school period. The social support provided to the child is reinforced by preschool education. In addition to social support, it is also necessary for children to acquire various skills for primary school education after pre-school education. In these skills, social competence and readiness skills are important in terms of the child's academic success and social cohesion in later periods. Within this context, the aim of this study is to examine of pre-school education on the social behavior and readiness skills of primary school students. Relational screening model in quantitative research methods from descriptive screening model was used in the study. The sample of the study was determined by simple random sampling method, and the sample group consisted of 249 primary school 1st grade students. The data of the study was collected in the 2016-2017 academic year. In the collection of data, "Personal information form" was used to obtain students' demographic information, "School social behavior scale" was used to measure their social competence and "Primary school readiness scale" to measure their readiness skills. SPSS 20 software was used for the analysis of the data. Since the data were not normally distributed, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were performed in the analysis of the data In order to determine the relationship between the variables, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient was used. As a result of the study, it was observed that the pre-school education had a significant difference on the social behavior and school readiness of primary school 1st grade students. There was a positive and moderate correlation between social competence and readiness skills of primary school 1st grade students. As a result of the research, the findings were discussed in the light of related researches and literature, and some suggestions were made. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Çalışmada öğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye yönelik hazırbulunuşlukları ile eöğrenmeye yönelik tutumlarının cinsiyet, öğrenim görülen program, günlük internet kullanım süresi, bilgisayar kullanma düzeyi ve akademik başarı değişkenleri açısından değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada açımlayıcı sıralı karma yöntem deseni kullanılmış ve çalışma için gerekli olan veriler 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim güz yarıyılında Bilişim Teknolojileri dersini almakta olan 319 Eğitim Fakültesi birinci sınıf öğrencisinden toplanmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular neticesinde öğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye yönelik hazırbulunuşluklarının yeterli olduğu görülürken, eöğrenmeye yönelik tutumlarının ise yetersiz olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmaya katılım sağlayan öğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye yönelik hazırbulunuşlukları ile cinsiyet, öğrenim görülen program, günlük internet kullanım süresi ve akademik başarı değişkenleri arasında anlamlı farklılık ortaya çıkmazken, bilgisayar kullanma düzeyi değişkeni arasında anlamlı farklılık ortaya çıkmıştır. E-öğrenmeye yönelik tutumları ile günlük internet kullanım süresi ve akademik başarı değişkeni arasında da anlamlı farklılık ortaya çıkmazken, cinsiyet, öğrenim görülen program ve bilgisayar kullanma düzeyi değişkenleri arasında ise anlamlı farklılık ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye yönelik hazırbulunuşlukları ile e-öğrenmeye yönelik tutumları arasındaki ilişkiye bakıldığında pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde bir ilişki olduğu belirlenirken, gerçekleştirilen regresyon analizi ile de e-öğrenmeye yönelik tutumun çevrimiçi öğrenmeye yönelik hazırbulunuşluğun bir yordayıcısı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte çevrimiçi öğrenme ortamlarının kullanımına yönelik öğrenciler ile gerçekleştirilen görüşmeler sonucunda zaman ve mekândan bağımsız olması, ekonomik olarak daha tasarruflu olması, ders materyallerine kolay erişim ve tekrar izlenebilirlik açısından olumlu etkileri olmasına rağmen, öğrenciler bu ortamları kullanmada sorun yaşadıklarına, teknoloji kullanımında kendilerini çok yeterli görmediklerine, çevrimiçi öğrenme ortamlarında zamanı iyi yönetemediklerine, etkileşimin ve iletişimin yeterli olmadığına, sosyalleşme sürecine olumsuz etkisi olduğuna, bazı çevresel etkenlerden dolayı derse odaklanamadıklarına ve e-öğrenme ortamlarının geleneksel öğrenmeye oranla öğrenmede daha az etkili olduğuna ilişkin görüşler bildirmişlerdir. Ayrıca çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular ışığında araştırmacı tarafından çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur. In this study, it was aimed to evaluate students' readiness for online learning and attitudes towards e-learning in terms of gender, the type of program, daily hours of internet usage, level of computer literacy, and academic achievement variables. The exploratory sequential mixed methods design was used in the study and data required for the study was collected from 319 first-year students receiving the course of Information Technologies in the Faculty of Education in the fall term of the 2020-2021 academic year. It was observed as a result of the findings obtained in the study that students' readiness for online learning was adequate while attitudes towards e-learning were inadequate. A significant difference did not occur between the readiness of the students participating in the study for online learning and variables of gender, the type of program, daily hours of internet usage, and academic achievement while a significant difference was revealed between the readiness and level of computer literacy. There was also no significant difference between their attitudes towards e-learning and variables of daily hours of internet usage and academic achievement while a significant difference was observed between the attitudes and gender, the type of program, and level of computer literacy. A positive and medium-level relationship was determined considering the relationship between students' readiness for online learning and attitudes towards e-learning as well as, through the regression analysis performed, that attitude towards e-learning is a predictor of the readiness for online learning. In addition, students expressed opinions as a result of the interviews conducted with them on the usage of online learning environments concerning that although these environments have positive impacts in terms of being time- and place-independent, being more economical, and offering easy access to the course materials and a chance to rewatch them, they still have problems in using these environments, they do no regard themselves qualified enough in using the technology, they cannot manage their time well enough in online learning environments, the interaction and communication are not sufficient, these environments have negative impacts on the process of socialization, they cannot focus on the course due to some environmental factors, and e-learning environments are less effective in learning compared to the traditional learning. Recommendations were also provided by the researcher in light of the findings obtained in the study.

The purpose of this study is to examine teacher self-efficacy levels of teacher candidates and readiness levels for business life. In the study, relational screening model was used. The population of the research consists of the fourth grade students who were enrolled in Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University Faculty of Education in 2016-2017 academic year. The sample of the study was composed of 249 teacher candidates randomly selected. In the results of this study, it was found that the level of teacher self-efficacy beliefs in teacher candidates differs significantly from the level of gender willing to attend the department and the level of readiness to work life differs significantly from the level of gender willing to attend the department and the level of academic achievement. It was determined that there was a moderate positive relationship between teacher self-efficacy beliefs and business life readiness levels of teacher candidates. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this study is to determine the school readiness level of primary school students and to examine whether the school readiness levels differ according to various variables. Descriptive screening model was used in the study. The universe of the research is composed of primary school first grade students who study in Istanbul province. The sample of the research is composed of 976 primary school first grade students who study first class in Bağcılar, Küçükçekmece, Esenyurt, Esenler and Gaziosmanpaşa districts in Istanbul province. The "Primary School Readiness Scale" was used as the data collection tool in the study. As a result of the data analysis, it was seen that the level of readiness to school of primary school first grade students is high according to the average of general total and affective skills, psychomotor skills, self-care skills and cognitive skills subdimensions. The level of school readiness of the primary school first grade students is significantly different according to gender, the pre-school education status, age as of September and education level of mother and father. There is a significant difference of the level of readiness to school of primary school first grade students in favor of girls according to gender variable; in favor of who have preschool education according to the pre-school education status, in affective skills, psychomotor skills, self-care skills and cognitive skills sub-dimensions and general total. In the subdimensions of affective skills, psychomotor skills, self-care skills, and cognitive skills, the students who were 72 months of age or older in as of September as a whole had higher level of readiness to school, followed by students between 66-71 months and 60-65 months. In the subdimensions of affective skills, psychomotor skills, self-care skills, and cognitive skills, the students whose mother and father graduated from university have higher levels of readiness to school, followed by high school graduates, junior high school graduates and primary school graduates respectively. Bu araştırmanın amacı; bir devlet ile bir vakıf üniversitesinde, meslek yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşluk düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Tarama modelinde desenlenen araştırmanın örneklemini 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz döneminde İngilizce I dersini alan birinci sınıf ön lisans öğrencileri (n=1392) oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri kişisel bilgi formu ile Demir (2015) tarafından geliştirilen ve altı boyuttan oluşan ‘Üniversite Öğrencilerinin E-öğrenmeye Hazırbulunuşluk Ölçeği’ ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma gibi betimsel analizler ile bağımsız gruplar t-testi, Scheffe ve Games-Howell testi hesaplamalarından oluşan tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye ilişkin genel hazırbulunuşluk düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ölçeğin alt boyutlarına göre incelendiğinde öğrencilerin “internet öz-yeterliği” boyutunda çok yüksek, “çevrimiçi iletişim öz-yeterliği”, bilgisayar öz-yeterliği”, “kendi kendine öğrenme” ve “öğrenen kontrolü” boyutlarında yüksek, “e-öğrenmeye yönelik motivasyon” boyutunda ise düşük düzeyde hazırbulunuşluğa sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Çevrimiçi öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşluk, ölçeğin genelinde cinsiyete göre farklılık göstermezken, “bilgisayar öz-yeterliği”, “internet öz-yeterliği” ve “çevrimiçi iletişim öz-yeterliği” boyutlarında erkekler; “kendi kendine öğrenme” alt boyutunda ise kadınlar lehine anlamlı bir fark göstermektedir. Yaşa göre, ölçeğin genelinde ve “e-öğrenmeye yönelik motivasyon” alt boyutunda yaşı büyük öğrencilerin lehine anlamlı farklılık bulunmaktadır. Son olarak, çevrimiçi ortamda ders alma deneyimine göre, ölçeğin genelinde ve “e-öğrenmeye yönelik motivasyon” boyutu hariç diğer alt boyutlarda çevrimiçi ders alma deneyimine sahip olan öğrencilerin lehine anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmaktadır., The purpose of this study is to investigate students’ online learning readiness levels at a state, and a private university. The sample of this study, conducted with the survey model, comprised of the 1st year associate degree students (n= 1392) taking English I course during the fall term of 2020-2021 academic year. The data of the study were collected with the personal information form, and ‘University Students E-Learning Readiness Scale’ developed by Demir (2015). The scale consisted of six factors. In data analysis, descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation and independent groups t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) comprising of Scheffe and Games-Howell test calculations were used. Depending upon the results of this study, it was concluded that students’ online learning readiness levels were high. When the sub-dimensions scores were examined, it was concluded that students had remarkably high levels of readiness in the "Internet self-efficacy" sub-dimension, high levels of readiness in the "online communication self-efficacy", “computer self-efficacy ", “self-directed learning" and "learner control" sub-dimensions, and low level of readiness in the “motivation for e-learning" sub-dimension. It was also found that students’ online learning readiness did not significantly differ by gender. When the sub-dimensions scores were examined, it was revealed that male students had higher levels of readiness in the “computer self-efficacy", "Internet self-efficacy", and "online communication self-efficacy" sub-dimensions; on the other hand, female students had higher levels of readiness in “self-directed learning" sub-dimension. According to age, significant differences were found in favor of older students in the overall scale and in the "motivation for e-learning" sub-dimension. According to Internet access facilities of students, significant differences were found in favor of students who had more more Internet access facilities in the overall scale and in all sub-dimensions. Finally, considering the students' prior experiences of taking the online courses significant differences were found in the overall scale and in other sub-dimensions except for “motivation for e-learning" sub-dimension.

The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly disrupted the deep-rooted and traditional structure of medical education and accelerated the emergence of novel education methods for students and educators by preparing an online learning environment consisting of both asynchronous and synchronized distance education. Whilst a fair number of studies have been conducted on students on this subject, the educator side appears to be partially lacking. In addition, due to the unique nature of medical education, members of medical faculty constitute the group of educators most affected by this process. This study was carried out with the aim of evaluating the burnout and readiness for online education of the said group of instructors who had been actively giving the majority of classes in laboratory and hospital environments until the pandemic period The research was conducted with 60 academics who were lecturers in a medical faculty and were actively teaching. “ Maslach Burnout Scale” and “ Readiness Scale for Online Learning ” were employed in the present research. “SPSS 20.00 for Windows” was utilized for data analyses. It was determined that the participants' total burnout score was 63.35±11.17, and the online learning readiness total score was 2.97±1.18. There was no statistical difference between participants' internet use and access, demographic factors and readiness (p>0.05). In the evaluation of burnout, statistical significance was found germane to gender, professional experience, age, and place of access to the internet (p, COVID-19 pandemisi şüphesiz tıp eğitiminin köklü ve geleneksel yapısını bozarak hem asenkron hem senkronize uzaktan eğitimden oluşan çevrimiçi bir öğrenme ortamı hazırlamış ve öğrenci ve eğitimcilere yönelik yeni eğitim yöntemlerinin ortaya çıkmasını hızlandırmıştır. Bu konuda öğrenciler ile ilgili çok sayıda çalışma yapılmış iken eğitimci tarafının kısmen eksik kaldığı izlenmektedir Ayrıca tıp eğitiminin özgün doğası gereği tıp fakültesi öğretim üyeleri bu süreçten en fazla etkilenen eğitimci grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma, pandemi dönemine dek eğitimin büyük çoğunluğunu laboratuvar ve hastane ortamlarında aktif bir şekilde sürdüren öğretim elemanlarının yaşadıkları tükenmişlik ve çevrimiçi eğitime olan hazır bulunuşluklarını değerlendirmek amacı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma tıp fakültesinde öğretim üyesi olan ve aktif bir şekilde ders veren 60 akademisyen ile yapılandırılmıştır. Çalışmada “Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği” ile “Çevrimiçi Öğrenme için Hazır Bulunuşluk Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Veriler “SPSS 20.00 for Windows” ile analiz edilmiştir. Katılımcıların tükenmişlik toplam puanlarının 63,35±11,17 olduğu, çevrimiçi öğrenme hazırbulunuşluk toplam puanının ise 2,97±1,18 olduğu belirlenmiştir. The target of this study is to investigate the relationship among associate degree students’ online learning readiness, satisfaction and academic achievement levels taking English I course. The study was conducted with the exploratory sequential design, one of the mixed method research designs. In the study, it was deduced that students’ online learning readiness and satisfaction levels were high in the overall scale and their academic achievement was at a good level. Moreover, a very strong positive correlation was found between students' readiness and satisfaction. Yet, no significant correlation was found between students' readiness and academic achievement, and their satisfaction and academic achievement. Students generally had positive opinions about online learning environment. In addition to being able to access course materials easily and comfortably, the teaching methods and assessment and evaluation techniques used by the lecturer were some factors that increase students' satisfaction., Bu araştırmanın amacı İngilizce I dersini alan ön lisans öğrencilerinin çevrim içi ortamda öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşluk, memnuniyet ve akademik başarı düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma karma yöntem desenlerinden açımlayıcı sıralı desen ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada öğrencilerin çevrim içi öğrenmeye yönelik genel hazırbulunuşluk ve memnuniyet düzeylerinin yüksek, akademik başarılarının iyi düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin çevrim içi ortamda öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşlukları ile memnuniyetleri arasında pozitif yönlü ve oldukça yüksek bir düzeyde ilişki bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte öğrencilerin çevrim içi ortamda öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşlukları ve memnuniyetleri ile akademik başarıları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilememiştir. Öğrenciler çevrim içi öğrenme ortamıyla ilgili genel olarak olumlu görüşlere sahiptir. Ders materyallerine kolay ve rahat bir şekilde erişebilmenin yanında öğretim elemanının kullandığı öğretim yöntemleri ile ölçme ve değerlendirme teknikleri öğrencilerin memnuniyetlerini arttıran bazı faktörlerdir.

The aim of this research is to examine the readiness of science teacher candidates on electrical conductivity of acid, base and salt solutions. 25 teacher candidates studying at third grade at the Department of Science Education have participated in the research. The study was conducted using the survey model. Teacher candidates were asked to express the name and kind of chemical substance and the electrical conductivity of the aqueous solution. Data obtained from the study were analyzed using descriptive analysis. As a result of the research, it was determined that most of the candidate teachers named the chemical compounds correctly. All teacher candidates gave the correct answer for the type of chemical substances. But one teacher candidate expressed that magnesium nitrate is an acid. It was determined that a small number of teacher candidates thought that acids and bases did not transmit electrical current. A significant part of teacher candidates thought that aqueous solutions of salts did not transmit electrical current. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Amaç Meslekler arası eğitim (IPE); tıp, sağlık ve sosyal hizmet alanları içerisinde iki veya daha fazla meslekten öğrenenin, iş birliğini ve hizmet niteliğini arttırmak amacıyla, birbirleri hakkında ve birbirlerinden öğrenme sürecidir. IPE ile bütüncül bir bakım anlayışı, sağlık ve sosyal hizmet çalışmalarının birbirleriyle koordine ve çözüm odaklı çalışmaları, daha esnek çalışma standartlarının belirlenmesi hedeflenmektedir. IPE dünyada çeşitli sağlık meslekleri eğitimi müfredatında yer almaktadır. Ülkemizde Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokullarında bu konuda eğitim programlarının geliştirilmesine ihtiyaç vardır. Bir eğitim programının başarılı olabilmesi için öğretim üyeleri, öğrenciler ve eğitim yöneticileri tarafından kabul edilmesi kritiktir. Bu nedenle meslekler arası eğitim konusunda program geliştirme aşamasında öğrencilerin hazırbulunuşluğu incelenmelidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin meslekler arası eğitime hazır olup olmadıklarının belirlenmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem Çalışma kesitsel olarak tasarlanmış ve Türkiye’deki dört Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu’nda yürütülmüştür. Uygun örnekleme yöntemi kullanılan araştırmada ölçme aracı olarak Parsell and Bligh (1999) tarafından geliştirilen Meslekler arası Eğitime Hazırbulunuşluk Ölçeği (RIPLS) kullanılmıştır. Veri analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler ve Student t-testi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular Çalışmaya 724 (%68,6) öğrenci katılmıştır. RIPLS için ortalama toplam puan 70.8 ± 10.6 (min.19-maks.95) bulunmuştur. Alt ölçekler 1-2-3 için ortalama puanlar sırasıyla 35.9 ± 6.4 (min.9-maks.45); 25.1 ± 4.6 (min.21-max.35); ve 9.7 ± 2.6 (min.3- maks.15). Cinsiyet, eğitim yılı, memnuniyet ve başarı algısına göre ortalama toplam puanlar arasında anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur. Kız öğrenciler, birinci sınıf öğrencileri, yüksek memnuniyet bildiren öğrenciler ve başarı algısı iyi olan öğrenciler, ortalamalarına göre anlamlı olarak daha yüksek toplam puanlar almıştır. SONUÇ Ölçek puanlarına bakıldığında, Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencilerimizin meslekler arası eğitim için hazır oldukları görülmektedir. Önümüzdeki dönemde konu ile ilgili bir eğitim programı planlanmaktadır.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kelime İlişkilendirme Testi (KİT) tekniği ile lisans seviyesinde ilk kez“muhasebe” dersi alacak öğrencilerin bu dersle ilgili olarak bilişsel yapılarının belirlenmesidir.Araştırma İskenderun Teknik Üniversitesinde 2021-2022 Güz Dönemi’nde Havacılık Yönetimi veUluslararası İşletmecilik ve Ticaret bölümlerinde daha önce “Muhasebe” dersi almamış öğrencilerleyapılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilere “muhasebe” anahtar kavramı verilmiş ve akıllarına ilkgelen 10 kelime ve ilgili bir cümle yazmaları istenmiştir. Çalışmada KİT sonucu 187 kelime 993kez tekrar edilmiş ve toplam 93 cümleye ulaşılmıştır. Katılımcıların anahtar kavrama verdiklericevaplar incelendiğinde en fazla “para, hesap, gelir-gider, matematik, vergi, hesaplama” kelimelerinintekrar edildiği tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda öğrencilerin dersle ilgili olumlu- olumsuz önöğrenmelerinin tespiti için KİT kullanılabileceği ve bu sayede öğrencilerin derse ilgilerini artıracaköğrenme ortamlarının hazırlanmasına katkı sağlayacağı yorumu yapılmıştır., The aim of this study is to determine the cognitive structures of the students who will take the“accounting” course at the undergraduate level with the Word Association Test technique.The researchwas conducted with students who had not taken an “Accounting” course in business departments.The students participating in the research were given the keyword “accounting” and were asked towrite the first 10 words that came to their minds and form a sentence about the key concept. In thestudy, 187 words were repeated 993 times as a result of the word association test and a total of 93sentences were reached. When the answers given by the participants to the keyword were examined,it was determined that the words “money, account, income-expense, mathematics, tax, calculation”were mostly repeated. As a result of the study, it has been commented that the Word Association Testcan be used to determine the positive-negative pre-learning of the students about the lesson and thatit will contribute to the preparation of learning environments that will increase the students’ interestin the lesson.

Bu araştırmada, pandemi sürecinde yaşam boyu öğrenme yeterlikleri ve öz-yeterlik algıları bağlamında İngilizce öğretmenlerinin e-öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşluklarının farklı değişkenlere göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada genel tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli ve ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları Bartın ilinde MEB'e bağlı ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapmakta olan 140 İngilizce öğretmenidir. Araştırma, 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılının ikinci döneminde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada veriler, e-öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşluk ölçeği, İngilizce öğretmenlerinin öz-yeterlik algısı ölçeği ve yaşam boyu öğrenme yeterlik ölçeği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen kişisel bilgi formu ile katılımcılara demografik özellikleri, teknolojik ve pedagojik alan bilgileri, deneyim ve yenilik potansiyelleri ile e-öğrenme ve dil öğretim motivasyonları ile ilgili sorular sorulmuştur. Veriler çevrimiçi anket yoluyla toplanmıştır ve SPSS 25.0 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin normal dağılım göstermemesi sonucu analizlerde non-parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Ölçek puanlarının 2 kategorili değişkenlere göre kıyaslanmasında Mann Whitney U analizi kullanılırken, 2'den fazla kategorili değişkenlere göre kıyaslanmasında Kruskal Wallis H analizi kullanılmıştır. Ölçek puanlarının arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesinde Spearman Korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre; tüm alt boyutlar ve ölçek toplamında İngilizce öğretmenlerinin yaşam boyu öğrenme yeterlilik düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu; BİT kullanım öz-yeterlik düzeylerinin yüksek seviyede, diğer alt boyutlar ve ölçek toplamında ise e-öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşluk düzeylerinin orta seviyede olduğu görülmüştür. Profesyonel geliştirme alt boyutunun orta düzeyde, diğer alt boyutlar ve ölçek toplamında ise İngilizce öğretmenlerinin öz-yeterlik düzeylerinin yüksek seviyede olduğu görülmüştür. İngilizce öğretmenlerinin; yaşam boyu öğrenme yeterlikleri ile öz-yeterlik algıları arasında, öz-yeterlik algıları ile e-öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşlukları arasında ve yaşam boyu öğrenme yeterlikleri ile e-öğrenmeye hazırbulunuşlukları arasında ise anlamlı düzeyde ilişkiler olduğu saptanmıştır. This study aims to examine the readiness of English teachers for e-learning according to different variables in the context of lifelong learning competencies and self-efficacy perceptions during the pandemic process. In the study, relational screening model, one of the general screening models, and accessible sampling method were used. The participants of the research were 140 English teachers working in primary and secondary education institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the province of Bartın. The research was carried out in the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. The data in this study were obtained by using the academic staff's readiness for e-learning scale, English teachers' self-efficacy perception scale, and the lifelong learning competency scale. In addition, with the personal information form developed by the researcher, questions about demographic characteristics, technological and pedagogical content knowledge, experience and innovation potentials, and e-learning and language teaching motivations were asked to the participants. The data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed with the SPSS 25.0 program. As the data obtained did not show normal distribution, non-parametric tests were used in the analysis. While Mann Whitney U analysis was used to compare scale scores according to 2-category variables, Kruskal Wallis H analysis was used to compare scale scores according to variables with more than 2 categories. Spearman Correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between scale scores. According to the findings obtained from the research; it has been observed that English teachers' lifelong learning proficiency levels are high in all sub-dimensions and scales; It has been seen that the self-efficacy levels of ICT use are high, while the other sub-dimensions and the total of the scale, the e-learning readiness levels are at a moderate level. It was observed that the professional development sub-dimension was at a moderate level, while the self-efficacy levels of English teachers were at a high level in the other sub-dimensions and the total scale. It has been determined that there are significant relations between lifelong learning competencies and self-efficacy perceptions, between self-efficacy perceptions and readiness for e-learning, and between lifelong learning competencies and readiness for e-learning of English teachers.

Ortaokul matematik öğretmenlerinin öğrencilerinin ilkokul düzeyinde; lise matematik öğretmenlerinin de ortaokul düzeyinde aldıkları öğretimin niteliğine yönelik yorum ve eleştiri yapmaları sıklıkla karşılaşılan bir durumdur. Bu araştırmada 5. sınıf ve 9. sınıf öğretmenlerinin sınıflarına bir alt kademeden gelen öğrencilerin hazırbulunuşluk düzeyleri hakkında beklenti, görüş ve gözlemlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Katılımcı olan 5. sınıf ve 9. sınıf öğretmenlerinden alınan verilerin karşılaştırılmalı analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın katılımcıları Bilecik, Ankara ve Eskişehir illerinde görev yapan on adet 5. sınıf ve sekiz adet 9. sınıf matematik öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmaya katılım gönüllülük esasına dayanmaktadır. Kolay erişilebilir amaçlı örneklem ile oluşan katılımcıların Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı okullarda en az beş yıllık matematik öğretmenliği deneyimleri bulunmasına dikkat edilmiştir. Temel nitel araştırma deseni kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada, veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Görüşmeler kayıt altına alınarak çözümlemesi yapılmıştır. Çözümlemeler doküman analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda kademeler arası geçişte matematik özelinde hazırbulunuşluğu etkileyen başlıca nedenler derse karşı olumsuz tutum, alt kademeden getirilen bilgi eksikleri, ailenin sosyoekonomik düzeyi, yeni kademeye geçişte yapılan sınavlar, aynı sınıftaki öğrenciler arası yaş farkının bulunması öğretmenler tarafından belirtilmiştir.
