The purpose of this research is to assess the effectiveness of using cloud storage services as a means to facilitate the rehearsal process in online choral vocal education. Third-year students from three Chinese educational institutions participated in this study. Thus, this research involved a total number of 336 people (320 students and 16 teachers). Accordingly, students were divided into two groups based on the training approach. The first one, Group A, consisted of students who received choral vocal training under the conventional program without the application of online platforms and cloud storage services. The second one, Group B, included students who received education using technology-enabled training methods. They participated in choral rehearsals on Zoom using multimedia materials from Google Drive. According to the results of the final assessment, Group B performed better than Group A; the difference in the average performance score was 5% between the two groups. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper is aimed at determining the role of higher education in change management of human capital in support of sustainable development of high-tech production. Regression analysis was used to process the official statistics of the world bank for 2020 and knowledge for all for 2022 (105 countries). As a result, we substantiated the important place of higher education in the system of the factors of high-tech production development. We compiled expected alternative consequences of higher education development for high-tech production. The main conclusion is that the key role of higher education for the development of human capital of high-tech production consists in the financing and popularisation of higher education, as well as the provision of inclusiveness in an educational environment and flexibility of the educational process. The key results of this paper are as follows. The theoretical significance of the obtained results and conclusions is that they opened a "black box" of human capital development in the system of higher education, explaining how it supports the development of high-tech production. The developed SAP-LAP model of higher education for change management of human capital presented a novel authors' vision of higher education management and universities as flexible dynamic systems of macro- and micro-levels, accordingly. The practical significance of the developed recommendations for the improvement of state regulation of higher education is that they allow optimising the consequences of higher education development for high-tech production. The managerial significance of the paper is that the authors' recommendations will allow improving the practice of university management (in Russia and other countries) in support of high-tech production development. The purpose of the article is to determine the peculiarities of development and legal regulation of educational electronic public services. The article shows that the penetration of information technologies into all spheres of human life leads to the improvement of many processes of social activity, including in the field of education. Attention is focused on the fact that professional growth requires continuous learning in the framework of formal, non-formal and informal education. Central executive authorities and institutions, enterprises and organizations under their management are currently playing an active role in organizing such training. These bodies have the legal capacity to carry out such activities within the framework of electronic public services. However, the Law of Ukraine "On central bodies of executive power" does not provide for the possibility of these entities to carry out educational activities in relation to persons who are not members of their staff. The author justifies that the problem arising from the unregulated participation of ministries and other public authorities in the system of providing electronic public services in the educational sphere is the lack of uniform standards. Significant differences are observed in the availability and form of a certificate of completion of an educational course, the availability of reviewers, and the number and complexity of test questions used to determine mastery of the content of the educational programme. The sources of funding for educational films and TV series, which require significant expenditures, are not always indicated. The advantage of educational products prepared with the participation of public authorities is their acute relevance and practical orientation, as well as the ability to quickly approach their creation by minimizing bureaucratic barriers. The author concludes that improving the quality and scientific nature of the educational products under study, as well as reducing corruption risks in their production, requires regulating the most important aspects of this activity. Legal regulation of education can be defined as a set of legal acts that regulate social relations in the field of education. This area is regulated by both national and international legislation ratified by the Ukrainian authorities. Education is a priority area in Ukraine, according to national legislation, and the education process itself is a continuous process throughout life. One must agree with the eminent scientist who defines this process as stimulating people, allowing them master the necessary knowledge, values, and skills that will contribute to self-realization in personal and professional spheres of life; will be a guarantee for self-improvement and adaptation of a person [1]. In connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, on February 24, 2022, a legal regime of martial law was introduced in Ukraine. The Ukrainian educational sector faced serious problems of destabilization of organizational, legal and educational processes. During the war, the authorities concentrate their efforts primarily on creating safe conditions for obtaining higher education, ensuring accessibility and continuity of education in regions of Ukraine with different security situations. The bodies of the legislative and executive authorities in matters of education take all the necessary actions within the framework of their powers so that no person is limited in his constitutional right to education. On March 20, 2022, the Law of Ukraine dated March 15, 2022 No. 2126-IX «On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding State Guarantees in Conditions of Martial Law, State of Emergency or State of Emergency» entered into force, according to which the Law of Ukraine «On Education» [ 2] was supplemented by a new article 57-1 «State guarantees in the conditions of martial law, state of emergency or state of emergency» [3]. This article defines guarantees for students of education, employees of educational institutions, educational institutions, scientific institutions for: organization of the educational process in remote form or in any other form that is the safest for its participants; preservation of the place of work, average earnings, payment of scholarships and other payments provided for by law; place of residence (boarding house, dormitory, etc.) and provision of food (if necessary). The state's guarantee of the right to education is of great importance for the development of the individual and society. After all, the effective implementation of this right ensures the satisfaction of human needs in acquiring knowledge, forming abilities, skills, personal qualities and other competencies. The right to education is the basis for the realization of a number of other constitutional rights. It provides a person with a high standard of living, respect and dignity, development of creative abilities, choice of profession, comprehensive and harmonious development, etc. This right is aimed at ensuring the full functioning of state and public institutions, national security, it strengthens stability in society and contributes to the development of a democratic, social and legal state [4]. The paper presents the results of a survey conducted among a total of 155 industrial engineering students from a Romanian public university to assess their awareness and concern about the facts and challenges imposed by the ongoing digital transformation. The study is based on a statistical analysis of the answers obtained from a questionnaire that contained closed-ended questions with predefined answers and open-ended questions where the respondents could express a personal point of view. Understanding the students' needs and expectations, as well as the impact of the digital transition on their professional training and integration in a sustainable economy, will serve as a background upon which the quality of study programs can be improved by implementing appropriate measures. The results highlighted the necessity to supplement the curriculum with specialized courses in emerging technologies, to intensify students' counseling on the digital transition, to upgrade the university's infrastructure with equipment and software in the field of emerging technologies, to assist students with insufficient resources, and to stimulate women to participate in skilling, upskilling, and reskilling programs in STEM fields. These changes will expand the sustainable development principles in formal university education, ensure competency-centered learning, and increase access to inclusive and quality education. The article shows how Russian students assess the role of the university as a socialization institution in strengthening the value of family and in their preparing for marriage, birth and raising children. Based on the results of the sociological study conducted in 2023, the authors consider issues related to the content of the educational process and make some recommendations for its optimization in the context of the state demographic policy. The empirical basis of the study consists of (1) the data of the survey of the Russian student youth from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Irkutsk, Orenburg, Pskov, Krasnodar, Perm and Stavropol (N=719); (2) the results of a series of focus groups with students of the Perm State National Research University (N=36). The article aims at identifying the ideas of Russian students about the influence of the university environment on the formation of family values. According to the students, the university educational environment still focuses on solving educational problems: transferring knowledge and skills required for successful employment of graduates and creating favorable conditions for learning - providing students with dormitories, forming scholarship funds. The authors argue that the measures taken to strengthen family values in universities are still insufficient: the students rate the lowest such conditions as taking into account the marital status of graduates when distributing them to workplaces, the availability of psychological and medical services, and the use of different formats for discussing family and childbearing issues. At the same time, some universities update and strengthen the guidelines for maintaining a balance between educational and upbringing activities related to family values. The authors make a conclusion that it is necessary to further improve educational-methodological, organizational, infrastructural and other conditions for maintaining a family-friendly environment at the university.

The elementary school teaching process is an important element in shaping a young person's personality, where knowledge, sensory and aesthetic impressions are provided through curiosity. Art education plays an important role in the process of developing imagination, creativity and manual skills. Visual arts textbooks are a key tool in teaching art and architecture. The purpose of this article is to analyze art textbooks issued in the last 5 years for elementary schools approved by the Ministry of Education. The content and included illustrative material from four available publications were analyzed. The collected information was juxtaposed with what is known, popular and frequented by tourists around the world. The article pays attention to the objects of sacred architecture, recognizing them as valuable cultural heritage. An analysis of art textbooks has shown that the included illustrations and information in the various publications vary quite a bit, although the same art issues are covered. The content of textbooks should be consistent, supported by well-known examples that are characteristic icons of certain trends in art and architecture. The task should be to draw a young person's attention to the cultural, social, technological, economic and ecological meanings of art and architecture. They should teach conscious perception, selective and critical choice, as well as distance from oneself. The importance of art education is significant, as it plays an integrating role vis-à-vis other disciplines.

Background and Study Aim. The relevance of intelligence is determined by the need to find the most effective tools for the formation and development of stress resistance in Ukrainian students and teachers in the process of studying in war conditions. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to compare the impact of online and offline learning formats during the war on the level of stress resistance of students and teachers in the sphere of physical culture and sports. Material and methods. The theoretical basis of the article is the research of domestic and foreign specialists. The study was conducted on the basis of the Lutsk Pedagogical College. 112 students of the specialty 014 Secondary Education (Physical Culture), 017 Physical Culture and Sports and 16 teachers of the department of Physical Education participated in the experiment. In the research process, such methods were used as an experiment, questionnaires according to the PCL-5 method, BASIC Ph testing of the Mooli Lahad method, comparison, statistical analysis (correction, systematization, determination of St'ydenta t-criterion and Pearson's χ2 test). Results. The conducted experiment included a comparison of the influence of different formats - online and offline training for the manifestation of symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder caused by military actions in participants educational process. The observations made it possible to diagnose a high level of manifestation in the participants of the experiment symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder after the end of the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year year, when training took place online in connection with the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, as well as significant reduction in post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms after the first semester of 2022/2023 academic year, in which learning took place offline. Reliably high expansion rates were recorded of all modalities of combating stress and a reliable increase in the success of students and improvement of rating points in teachers Conclusions. Positive changes in the psychological state and level of success of the participants were recorded of the educational process in the second semester can be related to the format and features of training in specialties 014 Secondary education (Physical Culture) and 017 Physical culture and sports.

Background: Nowadays, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, electronic learning (eLearning) has become a necessity in education. eLearning can be either synchronous, where classes are conducted in real-time, or asynchronous, where students can access the class material at any time. Student-instructor interaction has become essential to the educational process. In the literature, most studies have focused on the preferred methods of eLearning and the barriers to interaction in eLearning. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the factors that affect students' interactions during eLearning and their impacts on students' academic achievements. Methods: A national cross-sectional study was conducted among clinical and pre-clinical medical students who were attending universities in five regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Data were collected using a bespoke online self-administered questionnaire covering sociodemographic features, eLearning barriers, preferences, and the impact of eLearning on students' performance and understanding. Results: This study involved 1371 medical students, of whom 52.37% were male and 51.13% were in their pre-clinical years of medical college. Of the participants, 59.88% (n = 821) preferred synchronous modalities of eLearning, and 33.33% (n = 457) avoided interaction during synchronous lectures. The main predictors of avoiding interaction during online lectures were being male in the clinical years of medical studies, being in a quiet atmosphere, having difficulties using the eLearning platform, having a poor internet connection, having a visual learning style, being insecure, and the presence of opposite-sex students and facilitators. In addition, 12.25% students (n = 168) reported a lower grade point average (GPA), whereas 11.96% (n = 164) reported an improved GPA after eLearning compared with in-person/onsite learning sessions. The GPA fluctuation was related to gender, personality type, learning style, interaction, and eLearning modality preference. Moreover, the students' understanding was enhanced by recorded lectures (n = 1,093, 79.72%) and supportive multimedia (n = 1,037, 75.64%), and the easy to use platform (n = 1037, 75.64%). Conclusion: The synchronous modality of eLearning was the preferred teaching method among the medical students. However, multiple individual, technical, and environmental factors affected their interaction, performance, and understanding during these sessions. Hence, future interventional research is recommended to overcome interaction barriers and enhance student performance and understanding of eLearning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The use of generative artificial intelligence technologies in education has the potential to revolutionize learning and educational assessment by personalizing the learning experience, providing immediate feedback, and improving the overall learning experience.The relevance of the research is due to the spread of artificial intelligence technologies and the lack of practices for formative assessment of educational achievements in higher education.The problem statement: existing domestic e-learning systems have limited functionality, which makes them difficult to use in the process of formative testing.The goal of the research is to study the possibility and effectiveness of using generative artificial intelligence technologies in formative assessment in higher education.The objectives of the research are to consider the theoretical foundations of using generative artificial intelligence tools in assessing knowledge, skills and abilities, and to analyze our own experience of using large language models in formative testing at a university.The methodological basis of the research is analysis of Internet resources and literary sources, methods of mathematical statistics, and synthesis.The research results: the possibilities of using and the effectiveness of generative artificial intelligence technologies in formative testing of university students have been studied, our own experience of using large language models in formative testing have been analyzed, the main limitations of introducing these technologies into the educational process have been identified, recommendations have been given for organizing formative testing using large language models.Key conclusions: Large language models can be integrated into the learning process to assess formative and summative tests, which will significantly reduce the workload of teachers, provide more objective results and, ultimately, increase the effectiveness of the learning process.

The relevance. The introduction of digital technologies into the professional sphere has predetermined an increase in the amount of information necessary for successful development in professional activities. This fact involves the development of students’ skills in searching, analyzing, systematizing and mastering educational material.The problem statement: how can the interaction of visual and non-modal channels of information perception be optimized so that the process of searching, analyzing, systematizing and assimilating professionally significant information among higher school students becomes effective?The goal of the research is to substantiate the effectiveness of using mapping as a means of developing skills in searching, analyzing, systematizing and assimilating professionally significant information in the process of educational activities.The following methods of empirical research were used: questionnaires based on Google forms, conversation and testing, T-Test. The experiment involved students and teachers of Kuban and Adyghe State Universities.The results of the research consist in clarifying the content of the concept of «visualization», establishing the relationship between the purpose of using mapping and the educational result, identifying the potential of mapping in increasing the efficiency of search, analysis, systematization and assimilation of educational material.Key conclusions: The introduction of mapping into the educational process contributes to improving the perception of information through visualization of the material being studied and the introduction of a «clip» method of demonstrating information; optimizing time when learning new material due to the structure of educational information; increasing involvement in the educational process due to the optimal combination of visualization of the artistic attractiveness of the map design and the structural and logical diagram of the information being studied in one didactic toolkit.

The article presents the results of the sociological study of the impact of the coaching approach in the educational process in higher education. Based on the theory of coaching by T. Gallwey and J. Whitmore, the authors developed a methodology for improving personal and professional competences of students in the field of management. This methodology consists of fundamental coaching techniques: setting personal goals, identifying existing resources, active listening, providing feedback, and so on. The general principles of this methodology meet the educational standards adopted in Russia’s higher educational institutions. This methodology was tested at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) and RUDN University. The efficiency of this methodology was assessed with the results of the sociological study conducted as a monitoring of social behavior and activity of students of Bachelor’s and Master’s levels in 2017-2022 (N = 564 undergraduate and Master’s students and 361 PhD students). Undergraduate and graduate students from 2017, 2018 and 2019 courses were selected as a control group (448 students). The coaching method was introduced in 2020, and 477 students took part in the experiment. To assess the efficiency of the proposed methodology of introducing the coaching approach in the higher education system, the authors chose such indicators as attendance and involvement in classroom activities, which were evaluated during both offline and online (under the pandemic) courses. The results allowed the authors to conclude that the proposed methodology has a positive effect on the behavioral and cognitive involvement of students, thus, contributing to the quality of human capital of graduates in the field of management.

The youth, which the authors of the generation theory called "Generation Z", today studies at universities and actively enters the labor market. Representatives of this generation are significantly different from the previous ones due to the combination of a number of factors influencing their life and development. Rapid technical innovations, in the vortex of which these young people found themselves from the very birth, global crises and upheavals, Russian invasion, rapid changes in the educational process and labor communication determined the formation of a radically different personality type of those representing Generation Z. This youth is already changing the ordinary social paradigms, forming new requests, demanding new rules of the game in education and work. Ignoring its features and positions reduces the effectiveness of the educational process and labor activity, and lowers the motivation of young people. Misunderstanding of its worldview, values ​​and aspirations leads to conflict between generations in the process of study and work. Therefore, there is an obvious need to identify the main factors influencing the consciousness of this cohort of young people, clarify its social and psychological characteristics and take them into account in the organization and management of the educational process and labour activities. Specialists in various fields relatively recently began to actively research the features of the representatives of Generation Z. For several years, international sociological agencies have conducted a number of studies to identify the features of the worldview and values, expectations and motivation, features of the segmentation of the new generation of youth. Ukrainian scientists analyzed a number of features of the representatives of Generation Z in Ukraine, revealed the main consequences of the impact of the war on our youth. Now an important task is systematization of the results of these studies and the development of recommendations for taking the main characteristics of modern youth in the organization of education and work into account and the management of these processes. The article examines the main factors influencing the formation of modern youth, its vision of effective education and work. The main characteristics of the representatives of Generation Z, who are currently pursuing higher education, have been identified. Recommendations for changes in the process of education and work while taking the characteristics of representatives of Generation Z into account, are formulated .

The study aimed to investigate the impact of the hidden curriculum on the educational process in schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (a field study on primary schools in the city of Tabuk). To achieve the research objectives,the descriptive survey method was used, and a questionnaire was designed consisting of (23) items distributed over two axes: the impact of the curriculum. The hidden curriculum on the educational process in primary schools in the city of Tabuk, development proposals to reduce the impact of the hidden curriculum on the educational process in primary schools in the city of Tabuk. The research was applied to a random sample of (338) male and female teachers. The research reached many results, the most notable of which are: that the hidden curriculum greatly affects the The educational process in the primary stage. The results also indicated that there is a gap between what is taught and what is expected of students in reality .The results also indicated the impact of the hidden curriculum on the educational or developmental needs of some students and the lack of consideration of individual differences between them. The results also indicated that the hidden curriculum focuses on Specific aspects of knowledge and skills and not others. The article provides a theoretical justification of the emotional-value approach in the educational process, shows its interaction with other conceptual approaches, in particular, defines the intellectual component of personal development. In recent years, pedagogy has developed and tested conceptual provisions characterizing various approaches aimed at effectively solving pedagogical tasks. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the ideas that prove the legality and expediency of the emotional-value approach as a truly valuable pedagogical phenomenon, as well as to show its connection with other pedagogical approaches, in particular to investigate the neuropedagogical aspect. The concept of "emotional-value approach" has not been introduced into pedagogical science. But in some studies and publications, the terms "emotional-value component" and "emotional component" are used. The relevance of the article is determined by the intensive development of information and communication technologies in connection with the physiological reactions of the body, which forms the neural factor as an aspect of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is the most relevant phenomenon of human development today. Empirical methods, the method of synthesis, analysis, research, explanatory and scientific methods were used in the research. The results do not exhaust all aspects, but they are important for achieving the goal, namely the determination of the most effective factors for the formation of the unity of the intellectual and emotional sphere in the context of the formation of education and in the conditions of using artificial intelligence as a neuropedagogical factor. The article discusses the paradigmatic nature of today's education. A detailed analysis of the problem in question reveals that the competency-based paradigm takes the lead role in the paradigm complex. It is profoundly and extensively responsible for executing the social requirement of society and the state regarding teaching, upbringing and value-shaping of children in educational institutions. The goal of revising and updating secondary education is to enhance its quality and bring it in line with international standards. The entire structure of paradigms in secondary education is the primary source of its objective transformation, which highlights the relevance of this article. The research process shows that the overall cultural and professional competencies of educators are shaped when the competency-based paradigm is integrated with the knowledge-oriented, personal and cultural ones. During the learning process, these competencies assist in the formation of individuals, experts and citizens who can take effective action in the name of societal interests. Research methods include analysis, synthesis, as well as explanatory, scientific and descriptive methods. Importantly, this article is the outcome of looking into the conceptual model of producing a qualified individual through the educational process, which was grounded in scientific inquiries into the mentioned problem. This research aims to demonstrate the importance of the stories and poetic texts in the Arabic language curriculum named يتغل ةدلاخلا) My Immortal Language) in the intermediate school stage, as an effective means to facilitate students’ understanding and perception of meanings. The research shows the role of stories and poetic texts in achieving the desired educational goals, clarifying their diverse concepts for learners, and helping them to establish connections between the contents, ideas and similar situations in daily life. The research sheds light on different methods of using stories and poetic texts in realistic contexts that touch students' lives, helping them to enhance their ability to retain and share information with others. The research aims to monitor the content and ideas included in the stories and poetic texts used in the mentioned curriculum and to demonstrate their impact on connecting students with their cultural identity and providing them with valuable knowledge and life experiences. The research is expected to provide new insights that encourage researchers to explore the importance of stories and poetic texts in the educational process of other educational stages. In this paper, we developed an educational game with a graphical user interface that uses crossword principles. The architecture of the game is designed using a three-layer software architecture. We developed algorithms for dynamic words' selection for crossword building. The game is implemented using C#, and it consists of two main modules: one for teachers and the other for students. The developed game is applied in the education of computer engineers in order to assess students' perceptions of basic terms in C/C++ programming. A survey of students' interaction with the developed game is conducted in order to evaluate their perception of the gamification the education processes in the field of computer programming. The results indicate that usage of the computer-based crossword accelerates the educational process during the semester, and the game is a useful tool for motivating study throughout the whole academic year. AI can also support research by sorting through large datasets, building models, and recommending relevant articles, enabling better-informed decisions in lesson assessment and professional development. Based on the analysis of scientific sources and practical experience in teaching social disciplines, the article reveals the role and problems of using AI in the system of higher education. The scientific opinion about the inevitability of using AI, despite its risks, in teaching social disciplines is expressed. A comparative analysis of the subject area, conceptual apparatus, functional purpose and research methods of social disciplines is carried out. Similar features are revealed, the basis of which is their focus on the scientific study of the social and psychological behaviour of individuals, social groups and communities. On the example of didactic methods of teaching social disciplines in higher education, the expediency of using AI tools in the process of teaching is substantiated. Their main capabilities are personalised learning, forecasting and trend analysis, data visualisation, simulations and virtual laboratories, speech, video and voice interfaces, assessment tools, and generation of comments and feedback. Clarification of the principles and main possibilities of using AI tools has revealed the main problems, which include ethics, reliability, transparency, insufficient professional training of teachers and imperfect legal support. We outline prospects for further research on the peculiarities of using AI tools to teach social disciplines in higher education.

This article aimed to examine the two concepts of the educational process and educated person from the philosophical perspective of Richard S. Peters, a prominent philosopher of education. In light of this, one of his influential works, “What is an Educational Process?”, was carefully reviewed. Some comments on the overall relevance of Peters’ positions on the two concepts are also included. The review provides valuable insights into these concepts, which are profoundly important for the education field. Finally, concluding remarks and implications of the author's perspectives on contemporary educational systems are highlighted.

In the conditions of technological progress and rapid development of information technologies, it is very challenging to prepare specialists in the field of information and communication technologies who would fully possess the knowledge and skills to work with the diverse range of instrumental and software tools and equipment used in the field. This is due to the continuous improvement and updating of programming languages, frameworks, software environments, shells, and hardware. One of the ways to address this issue is through computer-based educational programs, allowing the individualization of the learning process while preserving it’s quality. Currently, there is a large number of computer-based educational programs used in the study of various disciplines. This paper presents the design of a computer-based educational program on the subject "Fundamentals of Computer Modeling," which enables the modeling of random patterns of various natures, ranging from random events to random streams. The educational program consists of three modules, which include a theoretical part on methods of modeling random patterns, testing after each topic, and a calculator for all modeling methods. In each modeling method, you can input any initial data, such as the number of trials, probabilities of events, functions, and parameters of distribution laws. The results of modeling random patterns can be saved as a file. The program interface is available in three languages: Russian, English, and Kazakh. The currently developing educational program aims to improve the learning process in the "Fundamentals of Computer Modeling" discipline and allows learners to study it independently without any interventions from a professor.

Purpose: of the article is to study the influence of artificial intelligence on the construction of an adaptive educational environment that takes into account the positive and negative impact of artificial intelligence, as the core of digital technologies, on the well-being of participants in the educational process. Methods: the work uses a complex of theoretical methods, including axiomatic, formalization, abstraction, logical analysis, historical retrospection. The most signifi cant practical research methods include statistical, operationalization and evaluation, comparative analysis. Results: the article provides a statistical substantiation of the demand for artifi cial intelligence in the education. The current educational problems are shown, in solving which it is advisable to use artifi cial intelligence. The article describes the trends in the use of artificial intelligence in the Russian education. The interpretation of the adaptive educational environment is given and the possibilities of using artificial intelligence as a tool for its construction are shown. The logical sequence for constructing an adaptive intelligent teaching system is proposed. The analysis of the impact of digital technologies used in hybrid learning (including artifi cial intelligence) on the well-being of participants in the educational process was carried out. The need for a rational, balanced and cautious approach to the use of artifi cial intelligence in education is emphasized, which gives rise to numerous ethical problems, ignoring which can negatively aff ect the values of education. Conclusions and Relevance: in the context of digitalization of the economy and society, the key technology of which is artifi cial intelligence, education is facing technological challenges that force it to adapt to new operating conditions. The penetration of artifi cial intelligence into the field of education is the pattern of scientific and technological progress that cannot be resisted. The positive aspects and threats of using artificial intelligence in education should be critically assessed, and informed decisions should be made on this basis. Considering the specifics of the educational environment in which the foundation of personality is laid, and the need to preserve the values of education as a factor of cultural progress, priority in goal-setting and the meanings of education should remain with a person whose assistant can be artifi cial intelligence.

A decrease in the overall level of training of university applicants has a negative impact on the educational process as a whole. This problem is relevant not only in our country, but also abroad. For successful learning, it is necessary to adjust the «input» knowledge. One of the options for solving this issue is leveling courses. The purpose of the work is to analyze the problems of organizing leveling courses and develop recommendations for improving their effectiveness. Materials and methods. The research methods used are the analysis of psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature, the study and generalization of experience on the organization and conduct of leveling courses. Research results. Criteria are given for the levels of students’ readiness to study at a university in a particular discipline. The possible problems of introducing leveling courses into the educational process as a way to improve the initial training of first-year students are described. Approaches are proposed to increase the efficiency and improve the system for organizing leveling courses. Field of applying results. The results obtained can be applied in the educational process of higher education.

This study aims to assess satisfaction with the quality of education in educational institutions in Algeria and to determine the factors that significantly influence it. The study was based on a survey of inspectors representing the primary control body for educational institutions in Algeria. The questionnaire contained questions based on which the inspectors assessed the quality of education in 1,101 schools (representative sample). A three-point Likert scale was used to evaluate inspectors' agreement with the statements included in the questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of 7 factors that characterize the quality of the professional development of pedagogical workers, the educational program, textbooks, the educational process, the conditions of school education, the evaluation process, and the effectiveness of the teacher's work. Correspondence of the data to the normal law of distribution was confirmed with the help of SENWEKS (asymmetry coefficient/skewness coefficient) and KIRTOSIS (variation coefficient or excess) indicators. The reliability of the research tools and the possibility of relying on the questionnaire data were confirmed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient and validity - using the overall internal consistency coefficient. The internal consistency reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed using Pearson's linear correlation coefficients between the factors and the total score of the questionnaire. The study proved that the factors of the quality of education, with the highest level of satisfaction expressed by the respondents, were the quality of educational programs (inspectors have a favourable opinion about the educational content, considering it relevant and well structured) and textbooks (inspectors appreciate the clarity and richness of the content of the textbook, emphasizing its essential role in student learning), while they were the least satisfied with the quality of learning conditions (inspectors point to a lack of educational resources, inadequate infrastructure and a large number of students in the classroom). One-sample Student's t-test (one-sample T-Student Test) was used to identify the factors that have the most significant impact on measuring the quality of education in educational institutions in Algeria. The most important factors were the effectiveness of the teachers, the quality of the curriculum and the quality of the textbooks. The research emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and adequate support for teachers.

Background. In modern society, the training of teachers who are able to use the opportunities of the unified educational space of Russia in the educational process is in demand. The development of teacher education in this context requires, first of all, the development of methodological foundations for the training of teaching staff in modern conditions. Objectives. In the course of the study, the tasks were set to determine the conditions for the training of a teacher who is ready and able to use the potential of the unified educational space of the country in his professional activity, as well as to determine the components of the system of professional training for teaching staff in modern Russia. Methods. The methodological basis of the research is the conceptual idea about the educational space, the importance of teacher education in the transformation of life in modern society, as well as approaches to understanding the quality of education. The empirical sources of the research are the works of modern authors on multiculturalism, humanism, the systemic nature of the educational space, and its informatization. The research methods include analysis, synthesis, content analysis, interpretation, and generalization. Results. Conceptual provisions concerning the preparation of teachers for professional activity in the unified educational space of Russia are formulated. It is shown that the effectiveness and quality of training of a modern teacher is ensured at the condition that the educational process is aimed at developing professional competence and a civil-professional position among teaching staff, ensuring the unity of subject and meta-subject competence is realized, and the prospects for the development of society in the training of teachers. The key components of an optimized system of professional training of teaching staff capable of fruitful work in the unified educational space of the country have been identified. Conclusions. The key factors and conditions for the effective development of the teacher education system in the unified educational space of Russia are identified.

Background. Present-day challenges necessitate the shaping of a sovereign education system that would provide Russia with highly qualified professionals capable of fulfilling the assigned tasks in ensuring the country’s sustainable economic development and technological sovereignty. In this regard, the activities of universities and the analysis of students’ requests for the education they receive are of importance and require multidimensional studies, the search for new formats in organizing work, updating the content of educational programmes and the shaping of contemporary competencies for future professionals. Study Participants. The sample of the study included 52,919 people. A flow-line sample was applied. Full-time students of Russia’s state and private universities took part in the survey. The sample represents the general population, covering all full-time students at universities in the Russian Federation and amounts to 2%. Statistical adjustments were used based on four criteria: the federal district in which the university is located, level of study, year of study, and gender. Methods. The methodological basis of the study was determined by the complexity and multifaceted nature of the research object, which required the use of an interdisciplinary approach and the use of pedagogical, general sociological, cultural, statistical, demographic concepts and techniques. Results. The analysis of the Russian students’ opinion showed that the organization of the educational process is somewhat lagging behind today’s expectations. This is especially true for a practice-oriented learning model, focusing on the demands of specific sectors in the economy and the preparation of professionals with balanced soft and hard skills and competencies. Based on the analysis and the results obtained, the authors propose practical measures to change approaches to the organization of learning.

This research addressed the critical topic of Chinese students' adaptation at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National Economic University, focusing on online learning. The study assessed the effectiveness of support tools using structured questionnaires to measure professional and academic adaptation levels of Chinese students, revealing associated challenges. The research methodology integrates surveys, observation, and statistical data analysis to objectively assess comfort levels, identify critical issues, and evaluate the effectiveness of support tools, contributing to enhanced professional and academic standards. In research was employing surveys, observations, documentary analysis, and a review of official documents, and explored various facets of adaptation, including general issues and social interactions in the online environment. Data analysis uncovers key challenges during adaptation, leading to specific recommendations for improving online learning. Challenges faced by students adapting to remote education in a Ukrainian higher education institution are identified, including language barriers hindering language learning and communication for Chinese students, and cultural differences complicating adaptation and technology integration. The results highlight aspects complicating Chinese students' adaptation to the online environment, such as language barriers, cultural differences, and technology adaptation. Despite high technological literacy, it remains crucial to tailor educational materials and platforms to the specific needs of Chinese students. The study addresses significant challenges, providing recommendations as a foundation for support programs and optimizing conditions for online learning among Chinese students in a university setting, ultimately enhancing their professional and academic success. The findings contribute significantly to the scientific discourse, offering valuable insights to inform the development of strategies aimed at improving conditions for students' adaptation to the university environment, especially within the online format

Abstract Background Nowadays, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, electronic learning (eLearning) has become a necessity in education. eLearning can be either synchronous, where classes are conducted in real-time, or asynchronous, where students can access the class material at any time. Student-instructor interaction has become essential to the educational process. In the literature, most studies have focused on the preferred methods of eLearning and the barriers to interaction in eLearning. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the factors that affect students’ interactions during eLearning and their impacts on students’ academic achievements. Methods A national cross-sectional study was conducted among clinical and pre-clinical medical students who were attending universities in five regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Data were collected using a bespoke online self-administered questionnaire covering sociodemographic features, eLearning barriers, preferences, and the impact of eLearning on students’ performance and understanding. Results This study involved 1371 medical students, of whom 52.37% were male and 51.13% were in their pre-clinical years of medical college. Of the participants, 59.88% (n = 821) preferred synchronous modalities of eLearning, and 33.33% (n = 457) avoided interaction during synchronous lectures. The main predictors of avoiding interaction during online lectures were being male in the clinical years of medical studies, being in a quiet atmosphere, having difficulties using the eLearning platform, having a poor internet connection, having a visual learning style, being insecure, and the presence of opposite-sex students and facilitators. In addition, 12.25% students (n = 168) reported a lower grade point average (GPA), whereas 11.96% (n = 164) reported an improved GPA after eLearning compared with in-person/onsite learning sessions. The GPA fluctuation was related to gender, personality type, learning style, interaction, and eLearning modality preference. Moreover, the students’ understanding was enhanced by recorded lectures (n = 1,093, 79.72%) and supportive multimedia (n = 1,037, 75.64%), and the easy to use platform (n = 1037, 75.64%). Conclusion The synchronous modality of eLearning was the preferred teaching method among the medical students. However, multiple individual, technical, and environmental factors affected their interaction, performance, and understanding during these sessions. Hence, future interventional research is recommended to overcome interaction barriers and enhance student performance and understanding of eLearning.

Background and Study Aim. The relevance of intelligence is determined by the need to find the most effective tools for the formation and development of stress resistance in Ukrainian students and teachers in the process of studying in war conditions. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to compare the impact of online and offline learning formats during the war on the level of stress resistance of students and teachers in the sphere of physical culture and sports. Material and methods. The theoretical basis of the article is the research of domestic and foreign specialists. The study was conducted on the basis of the Lutsk Pedagogical College. 112 students of the specialty 014 Secondary Education (Physical Culture), 017 Physical Culture and Sports and 16 teachers of the department of Physical Education participated in the experiment. In the research process, such methods were used as an experiment, questionnaires according to the PCL-5 method, BASIC Ph testing of the Mooli Lahad method, comparison, statistical analysis (correction, systematization, determination of St'ydenta t-criterion and Pearson's χ² test). Results. The conducted experiment included a comparison of the influence of different formats -- online and of- fline training for the manifestation of symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder caused by military actions in participants educational process. The observations made it possible to diagnose a high level of manifestation in the participants of the experiment symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder after the end of the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year year, when training took place online in connection with the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, as well as significant reduction in post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms after the first semester of 2022/2023 academic year, in which learning took place offline. Reliably high expansion rates were recorded of all modalities of combating stress and a reliable increase in the success of students and improvement of rating points in teachers. Conclusions. Positive changes in the psychological state and level of success of the participants were recorded of the educational process in the second semester can be related to the format and features of training in specialties 014 Secondary education (Physical Culture) and 017 Physical culture and sports. The war requires changes in the approaches to the training of military leaders. The article proposes a model for the formation of leadership qualities of future officers, leaders of the new generation, in higher educational institutions. It is based on the value-competency approach to military leadership. The formation of leadership behavior, according to the authors, is achieved through the observance of values, the formation and development of professional and personal competences, and the acquisition of experience. The basis of this model consists of interrelated blocks: educational process, practical experience, mentoring, self-management. The authors emphasize that the new military culture of leadership must be based on national culture and universal human values. The formation of a new style of military leadership takes place in the process of transformation of professional culture based on Euro-Atlantic principles, using the experience of combat operations, training methods, NATO principles and standards. The article describes the formation of leadership competencies of cadets during the educational process. The important place of this formation is given to problematization and reflection of training. Attention is drawn to the fact that the combat experience of servicemen acquired in battles with the Russian aggressor is included in the content part of educational disciplines, when developing cases, situational tasks, and exercises. When gaining practical experience in the process of everyday activities, internships in command positions, cadets develop organizational and communication skills, taking responsibility for management decisions, such qualities as: stress resistance, initiative, creativity, humanity, determination, ambition, mobility are manifested. Mentoring is considered as an element of the transfering of positive life, military, combat experience, which allows cadets to form their life position. An important place in the development of modern leaders is occupied by cadet self-government and self-development, which is designed to teach cadets to achieve their goals, and enables them to feel themselves active participants in management. The implementation of this model must ensure a continuous process of formation, development and self-improvement of military leaders based on values, professional and personal competencies. The purpose of the work is to ensure the improvement of the quality of education and educational services at a level that meets the expectations and needs of the family doctor, contributes to the optimization of the educational process on the problem of pulmonary embolism. Determination of clinical probability is an important component of management of patients with suspected PE. In clinical practice, the Canadian (P.S. Wells) and Geneva scales are most often used for this. For a patient with a high clinical probability of PE, multispiral computer tomography (MSCT) is of primary importance. With suspected high-risk PE, evidenced by shock or hypotension, CT angiography or bedside transthoracic echocardiography should be performed for diagnostic purposes. Today, magnetic resonance imaging is not recommended for the diagnosis of PE. Outpatient treatment should be carried out with PESI class I-II. Inpatient treatment - with PESI III-V class. Anticoagulant therapy (ACT), which should be started as early as possible at the stage of diagnosis, is the basis of VE treatment. Thrombolytic therapy should be carried out in the clinic of shock or in the presence of hemodynamic instability. As a basis for planning the educational process, it is desirable to take the constructive alignment model, which consists of the following three logically interconnected components. First of all, these are learning outcomes that must be aligned with the goals of the curriculum. Secondly, educational activities should be related to expected learning outcomes. An important component is assessment and feedback.
