- Abstract
Water resources management is needed to maintain water availability, one of the efforts in maintaining water availability is by building reservoirs. Jragung Reservoir is a multifunctional reservoir that is expected to fulfill the supply of irrigation water, raw water, PLTMH, flood control, and river maintenance. Forecasting the reservoir inflow discharge in the future is needed to know how the reservoir pattern will be after the dam is completed. One of the problems in forecasting inflow discharge is the availability of historical data, sometimes the available data is complete and long enough, but sometimes there is also limited or relatively shorter available. The length of hydrological data that represents a drainage area is influential in the water infrastructure planning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of data length and characteristics of the Forcasting Inflow with the Thomas-Fiering method on the Jragung Reservoir Operating Pattern. Based on the analysis of each series data provides different reliability. Based on the results of the analysis of each data series provides different reliability.
