The automation of production processes should contribute to better health and safety at work as well as reduce the exposure of workers to unfavourable working conditions, among them being shift or night shift work. The purpose of our research was to determine whether the level of automation of production processes influences the number of night shift work hours in production workers in medium and large-sized Slovenian companies. Quantitative research was conducted on a population base of 516 companies; a questionnaire was used to obtain primary data. We found that there is no statistically significant relationship between the level of production process automation and the number of production worker hours worked during a night shift (r = -0.057). The key motives for introducing automated production processes are improvements in product and process quality (n = -45) as well as worker safety improvement (n = 43). We have garnered recommendations for owners and managers of medium and largesized companies, that will have practical implications for the sustainable development of the economy as well as society. 10. Meat safety: Risk based assurance systems and novel technologies.

The meat industry has undergone substantial changes over the previous several decades due to development of new technologies in primary production (food animals on farm) -- precision livestock farming, sensing systems; slaughter & dressing -- automation and robotization; and meat processing -- precision fermentation, 3-dimensional printed meat. The current, traditional meat inspection (ante-mortem and post-mortem), based on visual inspection, palpation and incision, had not been changed since the end of the nineteenth century. Although this traditional approach was effective at the time it was introduced for detection of classical zoonoses (brucellosis, tuberculosis, cysticercosis, anthrax infection), it was not fully efficient in terms of the current needs for consumer protection. Namely, public health hazards associated with meat are, nowadays, connected to zoonotic food (meat) borne pathogens (Salmonella, Campylobacter, Shiga toxin-producing E. coli, Listeria monocytogenes), faecally excreted by healthy animals, which are responsible for the majority of human illnesses attributed to meat consumption; traditional meat inspection cannot respond effectively to detect these food borne hazards, but can even increase cross-contamination due to palpation and/or incision procedures. Therefore, there is a need to develop a novel, modern meat inspection system which will be risk-and evidence-based -- the meat safety assurance system or carcass safety assurance system. Such a modern system should be based on risk management and meat inspection protocols supported by analysis of Food Chain Information/Harmonised Epidemiological Indicators in the farm-to-chilled carcass continuum. Pokretna linija bila je generator promjena u vremenu kada je nastala. Omogućila je bržu i jednostavniju izradu proizvoda masovne potrošnje pogotovo dolaskom automatiziranih linija. Generatorom promjena možemo nazvati i postupak programiranja koji je danas primjenjiv na pokretnoj liniji. Primjena tih programskih alata puno je šira od samih pokretnih linija. Programiranje s malo i bez koda postalo je dostupno na svim razinama čovjekova djelovanja, no fokus u ovom radu bit će primjena tih programa u proizvodnji. Moguće su izrade izvještaja, praćenja radnog stanja strojeva, radnog vremena zaposlenika ili opće upravljanje proizvodnjom itd. Sve navedeno služi kako bi se što bliže primaknuli lean načinu vođenja poduzeća. To jest, kako bi pomoću široko dostupnih, skalabilnih i troškovno prihvatljivih programa smanjili gubitke u proizvodnim sustavima. The assembly line was a „generator of changes“ in the time it was introduced. It enabled faster and simpler manufacturing of consumer goods, particularly with the advent of automated lines. The term „generator of changes“ can also be used to describe the programming process applicable to the moving production line today. The application of these programming tools is much wider than the moving production lines. Low-code and no-code programming has become accessible at all levels of human activity, but the focus of this paper will be on its application in manufacturing. It enables report generation, monitoring of machine performance, tracking employee working hours, and overall production management etc. All things listed above bring us closer to the principles of lean management, aiming to reduce losses in production systems through widely available, scalable, and cost-effective programs.

U ovom završnom radu će biti opisan postupak čišćenja i dezinfekcije zatvorenih sustava koji su dio proizvodne linije za punjenje boca piva u pivovari Carlsberg, te kako se taj sustav trenutno koristi i koji bi se elementi mogli poboljšati. Nakon toga će se objasniti glavne ideje za poboljšanje koje će se zatim detaljnije razraditi kroz izradu projektne dokumentacije. Glavni dio završnog rada će biti fokusiran na izradu tehničkog opisa, električnih shema i definiranja karakteristika opreme koja će biti nabavljena i ugrađena, kao i dopuna programa postojećeg sustava upravljanja linijom. This final paper will describe the cleaning and disinfection procedures of closed systems that are part of the production line for filling beer bottles in the Carlsberg brewery, and how that system is currently used and which elements could be improved. After that, the main ideas for improvement will be explained, which will then be elaborated in more detail through the creation of project documentation. The main part of the final work will be focused on creating a technical description, electrical diagrams and defining the characteristics of the equipment that will be purchased and installed, as well as supplementing the program of the existing line management system.

U ovom završnom radu detaljno je prikazan postupak automatizacije procesa rada CNC stroja. Nekada su većinu poslova obavljali ljudi, no budući da današnji sustavi zahtijevaju višu razinu kvalitete, rad ljudi zamijenili su roboti pa je većina sustava automatizirana. Kako bi se postigao zahtijevani stupanj automatizacije proizvodni procesi koriste industrijske robote. U prvom dijelu završnog rada detaljno su opisani alatni strojevi tj. obradni centri i roboti te će se prikazati njihov značaj. Također je opisana programska oprema uz pomoć koje je postupak automatizacije realiziran. Cjelokupna automatizacija ovog proizvodnog sustava temelji se na principu odaberi i pusti odnosno „Pick and Place" operaciji industrijskog robota. Simulacija je projektirana u programskom alatu ABB RobotSudio u kojem se koristiti RAPID programski jezik. Dijelovi proizvodne linije i radnog okruženja kreirani su uz pomoć CAD programskog paketa SOLIDWORKS 2020. CNC stroj odabran je u skladu s već viđenim strojevima u sličnim industrijskim okruženjima. Cijeli proces stvaranja simulacije prikazan je korak po korak s odgovarajućim slikama. In this final thesis, the process of automation of the CNC machine work process is presented in detail. In the past, most of the work was done by humans, but since today's systems require a higher level of system quality, the work of humans has been replaced by robots, so most of it is automated. In order to achieve the required level of automation, industrial robots are used in production processes. In the first part of the final thesis, machine tools are described in detail, i.e. machining centers and robots, and their importance will be presented. The software used to realize the automation process is also described. The entire automation of this production system is based on the principle of „Pick and Place“ operation of an industrial robot. The simulation was designed in the ABB RobotSudio programming tool, which uses the RAPID programming language. Parts of the production line and the working environment were created with the help of CAD software SOLIDWORKS 2020.The CNC machine is selected according to the machines already seen in similar industrial environments. The whole process of creating the simulation is shown step by step with corresponding pictures.

U današnje vrijeme, u svrhu povećanja produktivnosti, smanjenja troškova te povećanja kvalitete proizvoda, automatizacija je neizbježan proces u gotovo svim industrijama. Međutim, za uspješnu primjenu automatizacije kod složenih industrijskih sustava nužno je imati kvalitetno korisničko sučelje koje će omogućiti lakši prijenos informacija između sustava i operatera te samim time riješiti niz problema razvoja automatizacije. Potaknuti time, odlučeno je napraviti industrijsko korisničko sučelje za nadzor i upravljanje industrijskih i kolaborativnih robota te transportnih sustava u Laboratoriju za autonomne sustave u sklopu Regionalnog centra izvrsnosti za robotske tehnologije (CRTA). Cilj je diplomskog rada prikazati proces izrade takvog korisničkog sučelja pomoću Siemensovog „SIMATIC WinCC Unified“ sustava te prikazati prednosti korištenja istog. Osim izrade korisničkog sučelja, prikazana je izrada i odgovarajućeg PLC programa te funkcijskih blokova u svrhu standardizacije dijelova sustava radi lakšeg modularnog korištenja istih u budućnosti. Nowadays, in order to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve product quality, automation is an inevitable process in almost all industries. However, the successful application of automation in complex industrial systems requires a high-quality human-machine interface that enables easier transfer of information between the system and the operator, thus solving a numerous automation development problems. For this reason, it was decided to develop an industrial user interface for monitoring and managing industrial and collaborative robots and transportation systems in the Laboratory for Autonomous Systems within the Regional Center of Excellence for Robotic Technologies (CRTA). The aim of the thesis is to show the process of creating such a user interface using the Siemens "SIMATIC WinCC Unified" and to demonstrate the advantages of its use. In addition to the creation of the user interface, the creation of the corresponding PLC program and function blocks was also presented in order to standardize system parts so that they can be more easily used in modular form in the future.

Ovaj rad bavi se procesom konstruiranja miješalice za beton sa automatiziranim punjenjem. Na početku rada prikazuju se neki od načina uporabe i pripreme betona. Ukazuje se na neke prednosti koje sa sobom donosi priprema betona uz pomoć automatizirane miješalice. Zatim se provodi analiza tržišta koja daje uvid u trenutno stanje tehnike na području pripreme betona. Znanje stečeno analizom tržišta koristi se pri izradi funkcijske dekompozicije i morfološke matrice miješalice. Uporabom morfološke matrice generira se nekoliko koncepata, koji se zatim međusobno uspoređuju i ocjenjuju. Najbolje ocijenjeni koncept se detaljnije razrađuje. Detaljna konstrukcijska razrada koncepta uključuje proračunavanje svih potrebnih dijelova miješalice, te generiranje 3D modela sa pripadajućom tehničkom dokumentacijom. 3D model miješalice izrađuje se u programskom paketu Solidworks, dok se proračun čvrstoće provodi uz pomoć analitičkih formula iz navedene literature. This thesis handles the process of designing a concrete mixer with automated loading. The paper begins by exploring different methods of utilizing and preparing concrete, highlighting the advantages of using an automated mixer. A market analysis is conducted to gain insight into the current state of the art in the field of concrete preparation. Based on this analysis, the functional decomposition and morphological matrix of the mixer are developed. Using the morphological matrix, various concepts are generated, compared, and evaluated. The highest-rated concept is then further developed in more detail. This includes the calculation of the strength of all necessary parts of the mixer and the creation of a 3D model with associated technical documentation. The 3D model is generated using the Solidworks software package, while the strength calculations are performed with the help of analytical formulas sourced from the cited literature.

U radu je napravljen proračun trakastog transportera potreban za njegovu kvalitetnu i pouzdanu konstrukciju koja će zadovoljavati zadanom režimu rada. Napravljena je automatizacija za upravljanje trakastog transportera uz pomoć Siemens PLC S7 1200 i Siemens HMI 1500 Comfort panela u Siemens TIA portalu. Cilj rada bila je izrada proračuna za konstrukciju i automatizaciju koja će zadovoljiti efikasnost, pouzdanost ali i troškove same izrade i implementacije. Pokazano je da se uz pomoć automatizacije koja je napravljena uz pomoć PLC-a kao glavnog elementa u tom lancu može podići efikasnost proizvodnje i sigurnost na radu koja bi uvijek trebala biti na prvom mjestu. Počevši od konstrukcije koja je napravljena na osnovu proračuna koji se temelji prije svega prema materijalu koji se transportira pa nadalje do željenog učinka, udaljenosti do koje želimo transportirati određeni materijal i svemu ostalome što je zaslužno da se ostvari zadana norma pod sigurnim uvjetima rada. Sama vizualizacija transportera napravljena je na način da operater ima u bilo koje vrijeme dostupan pregled ne samo transportera nego i statusa proizvodnje te ostalih uređaja u proizvodnji. Uloga trakastog transportera u rudarskoj industriji jako je bitna jer služi za prijevoz usitnjene rude na mjesto za sljedeći korak u proizvodnji ili lokaciju gdje se priprema za otpremu. Vrlo važna karakteristika kod trakastih transportera pogotovo u rudarskoj industriji je njihova pouzdanost. Transporteri u rudarskoj industriji često rade sa velikim kapacitetima i zahtjevima za čim više transportiranog materijala u jedinici vremena. Bitno je da transporter bude pouzdan i otporan na različita opterećenja koja se javljaju tijekom transporta kako ne bi došlo do oštećenja različitih dijelova i prestanka proizvodnje. In the paper, the calculation of the belt conveyor necessary for its high-quality and reliable construction, which will meet the given operating regime, was made. Automation was created for the control of the belt conveyor with the help of Siemens PLC S7 1200 and Siemens HMI 1500 Comfort panel in the Siemens TIA portal. The goal of the work was to create a budget for construction and automation that would satisfy efficiency, reliability, but also the costs of construction and implementation. It has been shown that with the help of automation, which was made with the help of PLC as the main element in that chain, production efficiency and safety at work, which should always be in the first place, can be increased. Starting from the construction, which is made on the basis of a calculation that is based primarily on the material being transported, and further to the desired effect, the distance to which we want to transport a certain material and everything else that is necessary to achieve the given norm under safe working conditions. The visualization of the conveyor itself is made in such a way that the operator has an overview of not only the conveyor but also the status of production and other devices in production available at any time. The role of the belt conveyor in the mining industry is very important because it serves to transport crushed ore to the place for the next step in production or the location where it is prepared for shipment. A very important characteristic of belt conveyors, especially in the mining industry, is their reliability. Transporters in the mining industry often work with large capacities and demands for as much transported material as possible in a unit of time. It is essential that the conveyor be reliable and resistant to the various loads that occur during transport, in order not to damage various parts and stop production.

Star Trek is perceived by the public and the critic as a utopian vision of the post-capitalist future. After setting up a future world we should strive to achieve, it is only left for us to imagine what could, and in what manner, jeopardize it. Stories that can be told about the post-capitalist society of plenty, at least the suspenseful and the watched ones, need to be stories about events that jeopardize that society and threaten its survival. Different types of danger bring imbalance and challenges that characters have to face. Furthermore, they give a good reason for continuing with the narration about events within the already presented world. My first argument is that this is the reason why all TV series within the franchise, regardless of the recent transition from episodic to serial format, basically tell stories about tentative threats to a society that we find well-set. Star Trek screenwriters imagine what could pose a threat to a future community by taking different threats to the community in which they live as their narrative raw material, transposing it into the predefined diegetic world and adjusting it to their imaginarium. Watching this science fiction series, we often see oversized objects from our fears. My second argument is that the Star Trek screenwriters emphasize opinion collectivization and automatization leading to technological singularity as processes that people should fear in the long run. The role and responsibilities of laboratory managers have considerably evolved during the past decades. This revolution has been mostly driven by biological, technical, economic and social factors, such as deepened understanding of the pathophysiology of human diseases, technical innovations, renewed focus on patient safety, cost-containment strategies and patient empowerment. One of the leading consequences is an ongoing process of reorganization, consolidation and automation of laboratory services, whose propitious realization strongly relies on establishing an efficient project management plan. In a practical perspective, the leading drivers of project management in laboratory medicine encompass various activities supporting a clear definition of the local environment, an accurate planning of technical resources, the acknowledgement of staff availability and qualification, along with the establishment of a positive and constructive interplay with hospital administrators. U ovom radu dotaknuti ćemo se teme virtualizacije računalnih resursa na lokalnoj infrastrukturi baziranoj na VMware tehnologiji. Opisati ćemo standardne oblike virtualizacije i njihovu primjenu te prikazati na koji način kreirati virtualne mašine unutar lokalnog okruženja. Potom, uz pomoć Python aplikacije automatizirati ćemo dohvaćanje korisnika koji se nalaze unutar Windows Active Directory imeničkog sustava te izradu izolirane virtualne okoline u kojoj se nalazi virtualna mašina sa željenim parametrima. This paper will explain the basic steps to achieve computer virtualization based on VMware technology. It will explain standard types of virtualization and their application, as well as how to create a virtual machine. Additionally, with the help of a Python application, we will automate user retrieval from Microsoft Active Directory and the creation of an isolated virtual environment with a virtual machine for each of them.

Proizvodnja karoserije automobila danas je većinom automatizirana, gdje se proizvodne operacije izvode fizički odvojene jedna od druge na radnim stanicama. U ovom radu opisan je razvoj jedne od tih radnih stanica na kojoj se savijaju rubovi poklopca motora za novi model automobila. Savijanje izvode roboti dok je glavna funkcija radne stanice prihvat i pozicioniranje poklopca motora kako bi se dobila preciznost i ponovljivost procesa. Također, objašnjeni su pojmovi i elementi koji se često koriste u proizvodnji karoserije poput referenci koja služi za pozicioniranje obratka. Opisana je i radna stanica prethodnog modela koja se nalazi na istoj liniji sa svim njenim nedostacima među kojima se ističe njeno komplicirano održavanje. U pregledu patenata i tržišta pronađeni su uređaji koji se mogu iskoristiti za prihvat i pozicioniranje poklopca motora, poput pneumatskih i električnih stegi, linearnih cilindara te vodilica za dobivanje preciznih pokreta. Zatim su izneseni svi tehnički zahtjevi i ograničenja od strane klijenta pa se mogao definirati smjer razvoja radne stanice. Definiralo se da će se koristiti pneumatska energija za dobivanje pokreta, pa su se uređaji poput električnih stegi mogli odbaciti. S obzirom na definirani smjer razvoja radne stanice, napravljena je funkcijska dekompozicija radne stanice gdje su prikazane sve funkcije i podfunkcije koja stanica mora imati. Pomoću uređaja iz pregleda patenata i tržišta napravljena je morfološka matrica za sve funkcije iz funkcijske dekompozicije. Morfološka matrica je podijeljena u dvije tablice gdje se prva odnosi na rješenja funkcija po kojima se razlikuju koncepti, dok se u drugoj nalaze rješenja funkcija koja su već definirana od strane klijenta ili nisu ključna za ovaj rad pa će se postaviti izravno u konstrukcijsku razradu. Zatim se provela evaluacija koncepata po kriterijima iz tehničkih zahtjeva radne stanice te se odabrao koncept koji odlazi u konstrukcijsku razradu. U konstrukcijskoj razradi odabrani su prikladni uređaji za pomicanje elemenata (pneumatske stege i pneumatski cilindri) s obzirom na njihovu potrebnu silu i napravljen je proračun za kritične elemente.

U ovom radu govorit će se o PROFINET komunikaciji koja se koristi u industriji za potrebe komunikacije između različitih elemenata unutar sistema praćenja i regulacije proizvodnih procesa. PROFINET protokol se temelji na industrijskom Ethernetu i omogućava korištenje TCP/IP standarda, čime se omogućavaju velike poslovne pogodnosti u toku životnog ciklusa proizvodnog pogona. Takođe, PROFINET se zasniva na svim iskustvima sa PROFIBUS-om, te ide korak dalje u svojoj fleksibilnosti poboljšavajući performanse. Sa PROFINET-om je omogućena integracija različite upravljačke opreme od pogonskog nivoa pa sve do kontrolnog nivoa. Koncept PROFINET-a zadovoljava sve zahtjeve industrijske automatizacije i može se koristiti za procesnu automatizaciju koja zahtjeva brzo vrijeme reakcije, tj. vremena ispod 100 ms. Za potrebe drugih aplikacija, kao što je sinhronizirana kontrola kretanja, omogućeno je vrijeme reakcije manje od 1 ms, a za potrebe sigurnosnih aplikacija moguće je koristiti PROFIsafe koji je integrisan u PROFINET. / This paper is about the PROFINET communication used in industry for the purposes of communication between different elements within systems of monitoring and control of production processes. The PROFINET protocol is based on industrial Ethernet and allows the use of TCP / IP standards, which allows big business benefits during the life cycle of a manufacturing plant. Also, PROFINET is based on all the experiences with PROFIBUS, and goes a step further in its flexibility, improving performances. PROFINET enables the integration of various control equipment from the factory level to the control level. The concept of PROFINET satisfies all the requirements of industrial automation, and can be used for process automation that requires quick response time, i.e. the time below 100ms. For the purposes of other applications such as synchronized motion control,it enables a response time of less than 1 ms, and for safety applications it is possible to use PROFIsafe which is integrated into PROFINET. / В даной статье обсуждается применение в промышленности PROFINET протокола, для обеспечения связи между различными элементами системы мониторинга и управления производственными процессами. Протокол PROFINET является одним из открытых стандартов Industrial Ethernet, поддерживаемый ассоциацией PROFIBUS & PROFINET International (PI). Он построен на базе TCP / IP и распространенных ИТ-стандартах, при этом дополняет их специальными протоколами и механизмами для обеспечения лучшей производительности в реальном времени. PROFINET обеспечивает интеграцию существующих систем, таких как Fieldbus, Profibus, DeviceNet и Interbus, без замены существующих приспособлений. Tema diplomskog rada proizašla je iz mog završnog rada i želje da se ideja proširi, odnosno implementira u radnu okolinu. Prikazani su razvoj i integracija pametnih i automatiziranih sustava u laboratorij na Fakultetu strojarstva i brodogradnje u Zagrebu. Na ovaj način, koristeći različite senzore i uređaje, korisnicima je omogućena najviša prilagodljivost cijelog sustava. Ujedno je ostvarena najviša sigurnost jer laboratorij nije vezan niti ovisan o cloud servisu te ne mora biti povezan na internet da bi automatizacije i komande radile. Za realizaciju softverskog rješenja korištena je platforma otvorenog koda Home Assistant koja služi kao baza za kontroliranje i povezivanje uređaja i senzora. Prikazan je postupak integracije različitih uređaja i senzora te ostvarivanje automatizacije i razine samostalnosti laboratorija. Temelj diplomskog rada je koncept Interneta stvari i sveprisutnog računarstva. The topic of the master's thesis came from my undergraduate thesis and the desire to expand the idea, that is, to implement it in the working environment. The development and integration of smart and automated systems in the laboratory at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb are presented. In this way, using different sensors and devices, users are provided with the highest adaptability of the entire system. At the same time, the highest security has been achieved because the laboratory is not tied to or dependent on a cloud service and does not have to be connected to the Internet for automation and commands to work. The Open Source Home Assistant platform was used to implement the software solution, which serves as a base for controlling and connecting devices and sensors. The process of integrating various devices and sensors and achieving automation and the level of independence of the laboratory is presented. The basis of the thesis is the concept of the Internet of Things and ubiquitous computing.

Designing is a problem-solving activity. The process is usually iterative: a solution is proposed, then analysed and tested until it satisfies all constraints and best fulfils the criteria. Usually, a designer proposes a solution based on intuition, experience, and knowledge. However, this does not work for problems they are facing for the first time. An alternative approach is generative design, where the designer focuses on iteratively defining a problem with its constraints and criteria in the form of a parametric computational model, and then leaves the search for the solution to the algorithms and their ability to rapidly generate and test several alternatives. The result of this approach is not only a set of solutions embedding implicitly the knowledge but also a model where problem-defining knowledge is quite explicit. The idea of the proposed approach is the exploitation of synergies between the designer and the algorithms. The designer focuses on problem definition and the algorithm focuses on finding a solution, showing that the capacity of the generative approach to replace the designer is limited. In the paper, we first present the framework of generative design, then apply the process to a case study of designing an efficient shading solution, and in the end, we present the results and compare them with the traditional approach. The approach is general and can be applied in other areas of engineering. It is relevant both to designers as well as software developers who are expected to take this approach further. More theoretical work is needed to study problem definitions as a form of knowledge representation in engineering. Oblikovanje je dejavnost reševanja problemov. Postopek je ponavadi iterativen: predlaga se rešitev, ki se nato analizira in preizkuša, dokler ne zadosti vsem omejitvam in najbolje izpolnjuje merila. Običajno projektant predlaga rešitev na podlagi intuicije, izkušenj in znanja. Vendar pa to ne deluje pri problemih, s katerimi se srečujejo prvič. Alternativni pristop je generativno načrtovanje, pri katerem se projektant osredotoči na iterativno opredelitev problema z njegovimi omejitvami in merili v obliki parametričnega računalniškega modela, nato pa iskanje rešitve prepusti algoritmom in njihovi zmožnosti hitrega generiranja in testiranja več alternativ. Rezultat tega pristopa ni le nabor rešitev, ki implicitno vključujejo znanje, temveč tudi model, v katerem je znanje o opredelitvi problema precej eksplicitno. Ideja predlaganega pristopa je izkoriščanje sinergij med oblikovalcem in algoritmi. Projektant se osredotoča na opredelitev problema, algoritem pa na iskanje rešitve, kar kaže, da je zmožnost generativnega pristopa, da nadomesti projektanta, omejena. V članku najprej predstavimo okvir generativnega načrtovanja, nato postopek uporabimo za študijo primera načrtovanja učinkovite rešitve senčenja, na koncu pa predstavimo rezultate in jih primerjamo s tradicionalnim pristopom. Pristop je splošen in se lahko uporablja tudi na drugih področjih inženirstva. Pomemben je tako za projektante kot tudi za razvijalce programske opreme, od katerih se pričakuje, da bodo ta pristop razvijali naprej. Potrebno je več teoretičnega dela za preučevanje opredelitev problemov kot oblike predstavitve znanja v inženirstvu.

Počevši sredinom 20. stoljeća automatizacija knjižnica nepovratno je transformirala knjižnice. Unatoč skromnom početku kada su knjižničari preplavljeni radovima trebali pomoć pri obradi građe, automatizacija knjižnica utjecala je na stvaranje MARC-a, online kataloga, kooperativne katalogizacije te na kraju globalno povezala knjižnični svijet. U radu su istraženi počeci automatizacije u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama. Knjižnična automatizacija podijeljena je na razdoblja, od kojih svako razdoblje korelira s određenim desetljećem 20. stoljeća, svako sa svojim ciljevima i rezultatima. Osim povijesnim aspektom automatizacije, rad se bavi posljedicama uporabe računala u odnosu na knjižničare i korisnike. Korisničku ulogu u knjižnicama automatizacija je transformirala na način da se sada od njih očekivalo znanje rada na računalu. Više nisu bili samo tražitelji informacija, sada su svoje upite morali znati izraziti u računalno pismenom obliku. Drugi dio rada bavi se automatizacijom knjižnica u Hrvatskoj. Opisan je razvojni tijek automatizacije u Hrvatskoj, od vremena SFRJ pa do danas. Ključni dio rada istražuje primjer automatizacije u mreži Knjižnica Vladimira Nazora. Detaljno je opisana automatizacija od samih početaka. Cilj je bio shvatiti kako se odvijala automatizacija na razini pojedine knjižnice, koji su bili izazovi i poteškoće te posljedice. Istražena je migracija na drugi knjižnični sustav te rad unutar mreže Knjižnica grada Zagreba. Beginning in the mid-20th century, library automation irreversibly transformed libraries. Despite its humble beginnings when librarians were overwhelmed with work and needed help processing materials, library automation influenced the creation of MARC, online catalogs, cooperative cataloging, and eventually connected the library world globally. This thesis investigates the beginnings of automation in the United States of America. Library automation is divided into periods, each of which correlates with a specific decade of the 20th century, each with its own goals and results. In addition to the historical aspect of automation, this work deals with the consequences of computer use on librarians and users. The automation transformed the role of users in libraries in such a way that they were now expected to know how to work on a computer. They were no longer just information seekers, now they had to be able to express their queries in a computer written form. The second part of the paper deals with the automation of libraries in Croatia. The development course of automation in Croatia from the time in the SFRJ to the present is described. The key part of the work investigates the case of automation in Library of Vladimir Nazor. Automation from the very beginning is described in detail. The goal was to understand how automation took place at the level of an individual library, what were the challenges and difficulties and the consequences. Migration to another library software and functioning within the network of Libraries of the City of Zagreb were researched.

Uzimajući u obzir veliki značaj i čestu potrebu za određivanjem kapilarnih svojstava različitih tekstilnih materijala, kao i nedostatke manuelnog određivanja kapilarnosti, i do sada primenjivanjih metoda, ideja autora ovog tehničkog rešenja bila je da se konstruiše uređaj za određivanje kapilarnosti koji je automatizovan dizajniranim softverom prema "open-source" principu, primenom hardvera niske cene i već postojeće laboratorijske opreme: digitalne vage, kompjutera i veb-kamere. Pored opisa uređaja i dizajna softvera pod nazivom „Kapilarko“, u tehničkom rešenju je dato i objašnjenje koraka – obrada slike, određivanje „threshold-a“, određivanje visine napredovanja tečnosti i primena veštačkih neuronskih mreža. Primena dizajniranog automatizovanog uređaja demonstrirana je na određivanju kapilarnosti pletenina različitog sirovinskog sastava. Primenom automatizovanog uređaja za određivanje kapilarnosti tekstilnih i kompozitnih materijala, poboljšan je kvalitat, a istovremeno je i olakšan eksperimentalni rad, u odnosu na manuelno određivanje kapilarnosti. Istražena je i mogućnost korišćenja raspoloživih alata iz oblasti neuronskih mreža za određivanje visine napredovanja tečnosti, prepoznavanjem nakvašenih/mokrih i suvih delova uzoraka, sa ciljem automatskog prepoznavanja visine kapilarnog napredovanja tečnosti na materijalima.

Ovim završnim radom želi se pokazati način izrade automatskog postrojenja na primjeru automatskog postrojenja za punjenje boca. Prikazana je kompleksnost izrade automatskog postrojenja, te kako se detaljno izrađuju 3D modeli svih mehaničkih dijelova u SolidWorks-u, pneumatske sheme u FluidSIM-u, elektro shema u EPLAN-u i programa u LOGO!Softa Comfort V8. This final work aims to show the way of making an automatic plant using the example of an automatic bottle filling plant. The complexity of creating an automatic plant is shown, and how 3D models of all mechanical parts are made in SolidWorks, pneumatic schematics in FluidSIM, electrical schematics in EPLAN and programs in LOGO!Softa Comfort V8.

Tema ovog rada je problem pohranjivanja veće količine podataka o održavanju računalne opreme koji se vode u pojedinačnim Microsoft Excel datotekama, s obzirom da takav način pohrane podataka nije prikladan za učinkovitu pretragu, kao ni za točno i jasno vođenje evidencije održavanja opreme. Pohranjivanjem svih podataka iz pojedinačnih Microsoft Excel datoteka u jednu bazu podataka riješio bi se postojeći problem otežane pretrage i korištenja podataka. Prvenstveno je bilo potrebno omogućiti unos već postojećih podataka iz Microsoft Excel datoteka, ali i omogućiti izravan unos novih podataka u bazu. Rješenje je ostvareno upotrebom Python3 programskog jezika te modula tkinter, openpyxl i sqlite3. Python3 automatizira proces, tkinter modul pruža grafičko sučelje, openpyxl modul omogućuje interakciju sa Microsoft Excel datotekama, a sqlite3 modul omogućava sve radnje potrebne za bazu podataka. Programsko rješenje ispunilo je cilj automatizacije pohrane već postojećih podataka te je ujedno pružilo i dodatnu funkcionalnost za unos novih podataka. Uz navedeno, ostvaren je i dobar temelj za razvoj daljnjih funkcionalnosti koje će poboljšati kvalitetu ovog programskog rješenja i pružiti više mogućnosti korisnicima. This paper focused on the problem of storing large amounts of computer maintenance data from individual Microsoft Excel files. Storing data in individual Microsoft Excel files facilitates neither an efficient data search, nor keeping an accurate and clear account of equipment maintenance. Saving all data from individual Microsoft Excel files into a single database would solve the existing problem of inefficient data search and data usage. The primary requirement was to enable import of existing data from Microsoft Excel files, but also to enable direct entry of new data into the database. This was achieved by using Python3 programming language and Python3 modules tkinter, openpyxl and sqlite3. Python3 handles the automation process, the tkinter module provides the graphical interface, the openpyxl module enables interaction with Microsoft Excel, and the sqlite3 module allows for all necessary database management. This program achieved its primary goal of automating existing data storage, it also added the functionality of inputting new data. In addition, it established the basis for development of further functionalities that will increase the program’s overall quality and provide more options for users.

U ovom završnom radu biti će objašnjeno što je to te koja je svrha PLC-a. Nakon toga biti će navedena i objašnjena osnovna struktura PLC-a te čemu pojedini dijelovi služe i kako se odvija rad uređaja. Nakon toga biti će objašnjen način rada postrojenja za mehanički tretman otpadnih voda. Nakon kratkog opisa tehnologije biti će objašnjene električne sheme postrojenja te način upravljanja postrojenja preko PLC-a i HMI-a u ručnom i automatskom modu rada. Glavni dio rada biti će detaljan prikaz i opis izrade programa i vizualizacije postrojenja u TIA PORTAL programskom paketu te simulacija sustava preko PLCSIM simulatora. Na kraju će biti analiziran rad postrojenja te ću predložiti moguća poboljšanja sustava. In this final paper, it will be explained what it is and what is the purpose of a PLC. After that, the basic structure of the PLC will be listed and explained, what the individual parts are for and how the device works. After that, the method of operation of the plant for the mechanical treatment of waste water will be explained. After a brief description of the technology, the electrical schematics of the plant will be explained, as well as the way to control the plant via PLC and HMI in manual and automatic mode. The main part of the work will be a detailed presentation and description of the creation of the program and visualization of the plant in the TIA PORTAL program package and the simulation of the system through the PLCSIM simulator. At the end, the operation of the plant will be analyzed and I will suggest a possible improvement of the system.

Rad se bavi temom Četvrte industrijske revolucije i utjecaja automatizacije i robotizacije na tržište rada, odnosno na prirodu rada i radno pravo te pitanjem kako mladi percipiraju navedene promjene. Metodom anketiranja ispitani su percepcija, stavovi i uvjerenja mladih po pitanju utjecaja Četvrte industrijske revolucije na tržište rada te promjena koje tržište rada doživljava uslijed disruptivnih trendova uzrokovanih procesima automatizacije i robotizacije. Rezultati su pokazali kako mladi uglavnom smatraju da će automatizacija i robotizacija dovesti do gubitka velikog broja postojećih radnih mjesta, ali isto tako i do stvaranja novih poslova te su uglavnom spremni učiti tijekom cijelog radnog vijeka i u skladu s time usvajati nove vještine potrebne za promjenjivo tržište rada. Cilj je rada identificirati i opisati percepciju, stavove i uvjerenja mladih, konkretno studenata diplomskih studija i apsolvenata Sveučilišta u Osijeku, po pitanju disruptivnih promjena Četvrte industrijske revolucije koje mijenjaju tržište rada i prirodu rada budući da upravo oni čine radnu snagu koja izlazi na tržište rada i koja će (ne)izravno biti zahvaćena trendovima automatizacije, robotizacije i drugim tehnološkim promjenama. Svrha je rada pružiti dublji uvid u promjene na tržištu rada nastale pod utjecajem tehnoloških trendova Četvrte industrijske revolucije, kao i uvid u način na koji mladi percipiraju navedene promjene. Rad se temelji na kritičkom pregledu i analizi recentne literature i istraživanja u području Četvrte industrijske revolucije, automatizacije, robotizacije, tržišta rada i prirode rada te opisuje i analizira osnovna problemska pitanja u domeni njihova međusobnog odnosa i utjecaja.

U radu je izložena kratka povijest piva te navedeni i objašnjeni tipovi i vrste piva. Objašnjen je tehnološki proces proizvodnje piva s naglaskom na procese proizvodnje koji se odvijaju u varionici pivovare. Opisana je struktura i način rada programskog paketa brewmaxx proizvođača ProLeiT. Nacrtano je SCADA sučelje za kontrolu i upravljanje filtrom komine i izbacivačem potrošenih žitarica te je napravljen upravljački program za PLC kojim je automatiziran rad filtra komine koristeći SIMATIC STEP 7. Objašnjen je svaki korak kroz koji prolazi filtar komine u proceduri proizvodnje. Navedene su komponente sustava te je objašnjeno kreiranje procedure, recepata i koraka. Valjanost sustava je testirana koristeći „engineering“ verziju SCADA sučelja. This paper presents a short history of beer and explains the types of beers. The whole technological process of brewing beer is explained with emphasis on the processes that happen inside a brewery’s brewhouse. The structure of ProLeiT’s brewmaxx process control system is shown on the example of mash filter automation. SCADA interface for mash filter and spent grains hopper was created to enable testing and controlling of the production process. PLC code automating the production process of the mash filter is written using SIMATIC STEP 7. Every procedural operation in the production sequence of mash filter is explained. The system was tested using an engineering SCADA station.

U ovom diplomskom radu obrađena je konceptualna ideja i razrada automatizacije procesa varenja matica na prethodno hladno prešane proizvode, u cilju unaprjeđenja i modernizacije proizvodnog procesa tvrtke KM-Kovnica d.o.o. KM-Kovnica slovi za najveću hrvatsku tvornicu za proizvodnju dijelova od metala za autoindustriju i druge visokotehnološke branše. Tvrtka koja je osnovana 2013.g. i dio je KÖNIG METALL grupacije koja iza sebe ima više desetljetno iskustvo u proizvodnji dijelova od metala i obradi metala. Svrha ovog rada jest predstaviti rješenje za robotizaciju i modernizaciju proizvodnog procesa u odjeli varenja, točnije jednom njegovom segmentu koji se bavi varenjem matica postupkom elektrootpornog projekcijskog varenja, a koje se u trenutačnom postavu obavlja u potpunosti ručno na sveukupno desetak strojeva s tom namjenom. Osnovni cilj ove automatizacije je postizanje visoke razine kvalitete završnog proizvoda, te postizanje ujednačene kvalitete, zatim modernizacija i smanjenje broja potrebnih radnika na fizički i psihički zahtjevnim radnim mjestima. Za modeliranje potrebnih dijelova i elemenata robotske stanice poslužio je softverski paket za izradu tehničke dokumentacije i 3D modeliranje SolidWorks 2017. Za simuliranje postrojenja i analizu ciklusa korišten je softverski paket RoboDK. Stanicom, njenim elementima kao i samim robotom upravlja PLC u kombinaciji s HMI korisničkim sučeljem koje je programirano unutar Siemens-ovog softverskog paketa TIA Portal v15.1, dok je komunikacija između PLC-a i same robotske stanice, obzirom da se radi o simulacijskom okuženju, izvedena i isprogramirana unutar Python-a. U sklopu same robotske stanice integrirana je stanica za vizijsku kontrolu zavarenosti matica, gdje se prethodno zavaren komad snima kamerom, te se provjerava ispravnost odrađenog postupka. Navedena vizijska kontrola također je izvedena Python programskim jezikom. In this diploma paper we deal with the conceptual idea and elaboration of automation of the process of welding nuts on previously cold-pressed products, in order to improve and modernize the production process of the company KM-Kovnica d.o.o. KM-Kovnica is known as the largest Croatian factory for the production of metal parts for the automotive industry and other high-tech industries. The company, which was founded in 2013. and is a part of the KÖNIG METALL Group, which has decades of experience in the production of metal parts and metal processing. The purpose of this paper is to present a solution for robotization and modernization of the production process in the welding department, more precisely one of its segments dealing with welding of nuts by electric resistance projection welding, which is currently performed entirely by hand on a total of ten machines. The main goal of this automation is to achieve a high level of quality of the final product, aswell as to achieve uniform quality, then modernization and reduction of the number of workers needed in this physically and mentally demanding jobs. The software package for the preperation of technical documentation and 3D modeling SolidWorks 2017 was used to model the necessary parts and elements of the robotic station. The software package RoboDK was used to simulate the plant and analyze the cycle. The station, its elements and the robot itself are controlled by a PLC in combination with a HMI user interface programmed within Siemens' Tia Portal v15.1 software package, while communication between the PLC and the robotic station itself, since it is a simulation environment, is executed and programmed within Python. As part of the robotic station itself, there is an integrated station for visual inspection of the welded parts, where the previously welded piece is recorded with a camera, and the correctness of the performed procedure is checked. The mentioned vision inspection was also performed in the Python programming language.

U sklopu ovog rada objašnjena je predikcija temperature automatiziranog staklenika koristeći neuronsku mrežu. Korišten je LSTM model neuronske mreže. Učenje modela je provedeno na unaprijed dobivenom skupu podataka koji je sadržavao vanjske i unutarnje uvjete („AGROSparc_measurements“). Točnost predviđanja modela procjenjuje se srednjom apsolutnom pogreškom. Testiranjem mreže različitim vrijednostima hiperparametara dobiven je konačni model koji je, kao Python skripta, učitan na Raspberry Pi. To je udaljeno mikroračunalo koje putem senzora i aktuatora komunicira sa bazom podataka. Na kraju je prikazana sinteza upravljačkog algoritma sa estimiranom vrijednošću koju daje LSTM mreža, a validacija predloženog modela na stvarnom računalu je ostavljena za buduća istraživanja. Within this paper, it's briefly explained how to predict the temperature of an automated greenhouse using a neural network. An LSTM neural network model was used. Model learning was performed on a pre obtained set of data that maintains external and internal conditions („AGROSparc_measurements“). The accuracy of model prediction is estimated by the mean absolute error. By testing a network of different hyperparameter values, a final model was obtained, which was loaded on the Raspberry Pi. It's a remote microcomputer that communicates with databases via sensors and actuators. Finally, the synthesis of the control algorithm with the estimated value given by the LSTM network is presented, and the validation model on a real computer is set for future research.

Dodatno, potrebno je objasniti motivaciju za razvoj, opisati funkcionalnosti i način implementacije REM-a i OCM-a u Montelektro SSW-u. Nadalje, potrebno je nadograditi postojeće upravljanje OCM-om s jedne na više aktivnosti te unaprijediti korisničko sučelje za upravljanje OCM-om. In this thesis is required to automate terminals for production of non concentrate juice using REM (Route Equipment Module) and OCM (Object Control Matrix) control modules for route management.Additionally, it is necessary to explain the motivation for development, describe the functionalities and method of implementation REM and OCM in Montelektro SSW. Furthermore, it is necessary to upgrade the existing OCM managing from one to more activities and to improve the OCM management user interface.

Razvijen je upravljački program i sustav za vizualizaciju za dio postrojenja u procesno upravljačkom Siemensovom sustavu PCS 7. Opisana je hardverska konfiguracija potrebna za kreiranje sustava, te na temelju dijela postrojenja prikazani su template-i razvijenog dijela softvera. This master thesis describes automation of biomass power generation. The project is based on specifications of the designers of a new biomass cogeneration plant in Austria. The Siemens PCS7 system is used to build software and the supervisory system.. Throughout this thesis, there is a description of the hardware configuration necessary for creating the system, as well as developed software of certain part of the plant.

U radu je analiziran proces fermentacije, od faza do parametara koji utječu na fermentaciju. Objašnjeno je razvojno okruženje Bluebox, njegove komponente i funkcionalnosti. Pomoću Bluebox sustava, implementirao se proces fermentacije. Rezultati rješenja su prikazani u SQL Server bazi podataka. Iz baze podataka parametara definirana je fermentacijska krivulja. Kroz rad su navedene prednosti i nedostaci Blubox sustava. This thesis analyzed the fermentation process, from its phases to parameters that can affect fermentation. The Bluebox development environment is described, and its components and functionalities are explained. Using the Bluebox system, the fermentation process was implemented. The results of the implementation are shown with the SQL Server database. The fermentation curve was defined from parameters from the database. The advantages and disadvantages of the Blubox system are listed throughout the thesis.

Cilj ovog završnog rada bio je programski ostvariti automatiziranu strategiju trgovanja financijskim instrumentima na osnovi analize vremenskih serija. Vremenske serije su se analizirale statističkim metodama odnosno tehničkim indikatorima. Proučene su i opisane strategije algoritamskog trgovanja, kao i statističke metode na kojima se temelji procjena kretanja cijene financijskog instrumenta. Isto tako, razrađeni su osnovni principi financijskog sektora. Implementirana su dva algoritma trgovanja čiji su rezultati zabilježeni, evaluirani i uspoređeni. Prvi algoritam temelji se na strategiji "presjeka dviju srednjih vrijednosti" (engl. Moving Average Crossover ili MAC), a drugi na "reverziji srednje vrijednosti" (engl. Mean Reversion ili MR). Statističke metode koje je koristio prvi algoritam su: eksponencijalna srednja vrijednost (engl. Exponential Moving Average), srednja vrijednost i prosječni pravi raspon (engl. Average True Range ili ATR). Drugi algoritam koristio je Bollinger Bands, relativni indeks snage (Relative Strength RSI), parabolički stop i obrat (parabolic Stop And Reverse ili SAR) i ATR. Algoritmi su testirani na glavnim parovima na Forex-u: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF i USDJPY. Testirani su na zadnjih dvanaest godina. Forex platforma na kojoj su testirani je MT4. Broker na kojem je napravljen Demo račun u svrhu rada je Fusion Markets. Algoritam MAC je u prosjeku ostvario pozitivan povrat, dok je MR ostvario negativan povrat. The goal of this final paper was to program an automated trading strategy that trades with financial instruments based on time series analysis. Time series were analyzed by statistical methods or technical indicators. Algorithmic trading strategies were studied and described, as well as statistical methods on which an estimate of the price movement of the financial instrument is based. Also, the basic principles of the financial sector were elaborated. Two trading algorithms were implemented whose results were plotted, evaluated and compared. The first algorithm was based on the "Moving Average Crossover" or MAC strategy whilst other one was based on "Mean Reversion" or MR. The statistical methods used by the first algorithm were: Exponential Moving Average, Simple Moving Average and Average True Range (ATR). The second algorithm used Bollinger Bands, Relative Strength Index RSI, Parabolic Stop And Reverse (SAR) and ATR. The algorithms were tested on the major Forex pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF and USDJPY. They were tested in the period of last twelve years. The forex platform on which they were tested is MT4. The broker on which the Demo account was created for the purpose of this work is Fusion Markets. MAC algorithm achieved a positive return on average, while MR achieved a negative return.

Edgar je informacijski sustav razvijen na Fakultetu Elektortehnike i Računarstva, čiji je motiv za izradnju podržavanje automatizirane provjere programskih zadataka. U ovom je radu proces izvođenja programskog koda nadograđen za potrebe izvođenja algoritama strojnog učenja nad podacima koji se putem sustava Edgar spremaju u bazu podataka, a u svrhu dostave rezultata predviđanja studentima. Ovakvom se funkcionalnošću želi utjecati na sveukupnu prolaznost studenata jer je ta metrika od iznimne važnosti visokim obrazovnim ustanovama. Napravljena se nadogradnja može iskoristiti i u drugim područjima sustava, a postoji i opcija za automatiziranim procesom izvršavanja algoritama strojnog učenja i prezentacije rezultata. Edgar is an information system developed at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing with the purpose of automated assessment of programing tasks. Within this bachelor's thesis, the execution process of programming code has been upgraded in order to perform machine learning algorithms with the data collected by Edgar, with the purpose of presenting such predictions to students. This kind of functionality can impact student's overall pass percentage, which is one the most valuable metrics to higher educational facilities. The upgrade presented in this thesis can be used in different areas of Edgar. There is also an option of developing an automated proces for executing machine learning algorithms and presenting such results.

Ideja ovog diplomskog rada je korištenjem suvremenih tehnologija računarstva u oblaku stvoriti cjevovod pomoću kojega će prikupljeni podatci postati korisne informacije. Dohvat podataka s različitih aplikacijskih programskih sučelja je automatiziran te se podatci pomoću također automatizirane procedure spremaju u unaprijed definirani model baze podataka. Konačno odredište cjevovoda je Power BI alat gdje se skladišteni podatci pretvaraju u interaktivne izvještaje. The idea of this thesis is to use modern cloud computing technologies to create a pipeline through which the collected data will become useful information. Fetching data from various application programming interfaces is automated and the data are stored in a predefined database model using an also automated procedure. The final destination of the pipeline is the Power BI where the stored data are converted into interactive reports.

U modernim laboratorijima u atomskoj fizici, podatci se kontinuirano prikupljaju i bilježe. Zbog utjecaja koji temperatura i drugi atmosferski uvjeti imaju na vrlo osjetljive eksperimente, na primjer, optičke atomske satove [1], nužno je mjeriti i bilježiti ove parametre kako bi se postigla rekordna točnost mjerenja vremena koji ovakvi satovi omogućuju. U ovom radu je opisana izrada sustava za automatizirano, kontinuirano mjerenje, bilježenje i interaktivno prikazivanje parametara u Laboratoriju za hladne atome na Institutu za fiziku. Mjerenja su bazirana na Labjack i Pico uređajima. Ostvareno je kontinuirano mjerenje i bilježenje temperature na više točaka u laboratoriju. Most između mjerenja na uređajima i spremanja podataka u bazu baziran je na programskom jeziku Python. Podaci će se spremati u InfluxDB bazu podataka, te se mogu prikazivati interaktivno i u stvarnom vremenu. Ovaj postav služit će za daljnju nadogradnju i priključivanje novih mjernih instrumenata čiji će se podaci moći obrađivati, spremati i nadograđivati kako bude potrebno za vrijeme trajanja eksperimenta. In modern laboratories in atomic physics, data is continuously collected and logged. Due to the influence that temperature and other atmospheric conditions have on very sensitive experiments, for example, on optical atomic clocks, it is necessary to measure and log these parameters in order to achieve the record accuracy of time measurements that such clocks allow. This thesis describes the development of a system for automated, continuous measurement, logging and interactive display of parameters in the Laboratory for Cold Atoms at the Institute of Physics. Measurements are based on Labjack and Pico devices. Continuous measurement and logging of temperature at several points in the laboratory was achieved. The bridge between measuring on devices and saving data to a database is based on the Python programming language. The data will be stored in a InfluxDB database and can be displayed interactively and in real time. This setup will be used for further upgrading and connection of new measuring instruments whose data will be able to be processed, logged and upgraded as needed during the experiment.

Kroz ovaj rad, prikazano je softversko i hardversko rješenje automatizacije zaštićenoga prostora, konkretno plastenika za uzgoj biljaka. U uvodu je iznesen značaj i uloga zaštićenoga prostora te različiti mogući načini automatizacije istoga. Zatim se iznose i opisuju potrebne komponente automatiziranog sustava, te njihov značaj za biljke. Naglasak je na programibilnom logičkom kontroleru i senzorima čiji je rad detaljnije opisan. Za opisane komponente predložen je popis uređaja i senzora dostupnih na tržištu pa je za iste izrađen troškovnik. Također se prikazuje primjer rasporeda i shema spajanja uređaja na skici plastenika. S time se prelazi na upravljački kod, gdje se najprije ukratko opisuju korišteni softveri. Nadalje se detaljno opisuje cijeli upravljački kod i dizajn korisničkoga sučelja. Nakon toga se opisuje laboratorijski postav na kojemu je izvršena simulacije, te se prikazuju rezultati simulacije. Naposljetku iznosi se zaključak cijeloga rada i moguća poboljšanja u sustavu. This paper has presented the software and hardware solution for the automation of a growhouse. In introduction, the importance and function of growhouse and various ways of automating one is presented. It is followed by the description of the required components of automated system, and their imporatance for plants. Accent is on programmable logic controller and sensors whose operating principles are described in detail. For described components a list of commercially available devices and sensors is proposed, and a cost estimate has been made. Moreover, an example of the layout and the device connection scheme is outlined on the dimensional drawing of the considered greenhouse. In the second part of this work, the development of the control program is presented, starting with the software environment used for programming, followed by the actual control code development and the design of the graphical user interface (GUI). This is followed by the description of the laboratory setup which is used for process control simulation, which has been used for actual process simulation within the proposed control framework. Final chapter gives the concluding remarks and possible improvements of systems.

Uslijed svakodnevnog razvoja novih tehnologija razvijaju se i tehnologije koje se primjenjuju za efikasniju i fleksibilniju proizvodnju. S obzirom na to da se spomenute inovativnosti razvijaju u današnjem vremenu, takva rješenja nazivom rješenja bazirana na Industriji 4.0 budući da se smatra da se trenutno odvija četvrta industrijska revolucija. Osnovni koncepti četvrte industrijske revolucije su automatizacija, robotizacija i digitalizacija, a implementacijom i integracijom takvih tehnologija u proizvodni sustav teži se stvaranju pametnih tvornica koje su krajnji cilj četvrte industrijske revolucije. U okviru ovog rada analizirat će se postojeći informacijski sustavi koji pomažu u procesu digitalizacije tvornica. Potom će se prikazati i analizirati neka od ključnih postojećih tehnoloških rješenja baziranih na konceptu Industrije 4.0. Nadalje, modelirat će se proizvodni pogon na primjeru te će se analizirati mogućnost primjene nekih rješenja. Naposljetku, iznijet će se okvirni prijedlog postupka implementacije nekih od ključnih rješenja. Due to the everyday development of the new technologies, technologies used to make more efficient and more flexible manufacturing are developed. Given that the mentioned innovations are being invented nowadays, those solutions are called solutions based on Industry 4.0 since it is considered that the fourth industrial revolution is currently taking place. Basic concepts of the fourth industrial revolution are automatization, robotization, and digitalization. By implementing and integrating such technologies into the production systems, the aim is to create smart factories that are the final goal of the fourth industrial revolution. Within this paper, the analysis of the existing information systems that enhance the process of digitalization will be performed. Then, some of the crucial and existing technology solutions based on the concept of Industry 4.0, will be presented and analyzed. Furthermore, the production line will be modeled referring to the example, and the possibility of the implementation of some solutions will be analyzed. Ultimately, the paper will present a framework proposal for the implementation of some of the key solutions.

U ovom završnom radu prezentirat ću automatizaciju stambenog prostora pomoću HDL uređaja i računalnog programa HDL Bus Pro. U uvodnom djelu završnog rada opisane su prednosti pametnih kuća, drugi dio rada odnosi se na zahtjeve investitora, opremu koja se koristila za ovaj projekt, treći dio rada odnosi se na konfiguraciju navedenih uređaja i na kraju četvrti dio rada odnosi se na izradu i korištenje Magiesta aplikacije koja se koristi za upravljanje pametnom kućom kad se nalazimo izvan nje Automatizirati će se rasvjeta, zavjese, grijanje i hlađenje. Cilj ovog završnog rada je pokazati prednosti pametnih kuća, jednostavnost korištenja sustava te uštedu energije koju pametna kuća donosi. In this final thesis, I'll present the automation of the living space by using HDL devices and their software, HDL Bus Pro. In the intro of the thesis, I've described the benefits of smart houses, the second part refers to the demands of the investors, the equipment which was used for the project, and finally, the last part explains how to make an app with Magiesta, which is used to control the house, and its smart functions when the tenants aren't present. We automated the lighting, heating, cooling, and curtains. The goal of this final thesis is to explain and present the benefits of smart houses, the simplicity of the management system, and how all elements contribute to saving energy for the owners.

Sinkroni reluktantni motori sve više se koriste u industriji zbog visoke korisnosti i otpornosti na industrijske uvjete. U radu je opisan postav za automatizirano ispitivanje gubitaka i korisnosti sinkronih reluktantnih motora po zahtjevima norme IEC-60034-2-3. Sustav automatizirano prolazi kroz radne točke definirane normom i zapisuje mjerene podatke u odvojene blokove podataka za svaku radnu točku. Korišten je napredni sustav za akviziciju podataka Dewesoft Sirius. Zahvaljujući automatizaciji postava, ispitivanje je standardizirano i ponovljivo. Ispitivanje je provedeno za kombinacije pet sinkrono reluktantnih motora i tri frekvencijska pretvarača za napajanje motora. Synchronous reluctance motors are increasingly used in industry due to their high efficiency and durability in industrial conditions. The paper describes a setup for automated loss and efficiency testing of synchronous reluctance motors according to the requirements of the IEC-60034-2-3 standard. The system automatically runs through the operating points defined by the standard and records the measured data in separate data blocks for each operating point. An advanced Dewesoft Sirius data acquisition system was used. Thanks to setup automation, testing is standardized and repeatable. The test was performed for combinations of five synchronous reluctance motors and three frequency converters powering the motors.

U radu je opisan rad varionice unutar pivovare i objašnjena je motivacija iza izrade virtualnog modela postrojenja. Opisani su elementi i funkcije pomoću kojih je u Siemensovom programskom alatu Tecnomatix Plant Simulation moguće izraditi model postrojenja i simulirati njegov rad. Izrađen je model varionice, navedeno je od kojih se virtualnih objekata on sastoji te kako je postignuta njegova funkcionalnost. Zatim je objašnjeno povezivanje simulacijskog programa s virtualnim PLC-om koji se izvodi u programu PLCSIM Advanced. Napravljen je algoritam upravljanja u programskom paketu TIA Portal te je objašnjeno kako PLC upravlja automatskim radom virtualnog postrojenja. Provedeno je testiranje kako bi se otkrio optimalni redoslijed izvođenja zadanih recepata za pivo. Ustanovljena je ušteda koju je moguće postići te je objašnjeno kako softver doprinosi identifikaciji problema i povećanju efikasnosti. Na kraju je navedeno nekoliko smjerova u kojima bi se rad dalje mogao nadograđivati. The thesis describes the operation of a brewhouse inside a brewery plant and addresses the motivation behind the creation of a virtual plant model. The elements and functions of Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software that make it possible to create a plant model and simulate its operation are described. A model of the brewhouse was made. The virtual objects it consists of are represented and it is described how its functionality was achieved. The connection between the simulation program and the virtual PLC being executed in PLCSIM Advanced is established. The control algorithm was made with the software package TIA Portal and it is explained how the PLC controls the automatic operation of the virtual plant. Tests were conducted in order to discover the optimal execution order of the given wort recipes. The savings that can be achieved have been identified and it is explained how the software contributes to identifying problems and increasing efficiency. Finally, several directions in which the future work could be conducted are presented.
