This research determines the student's learning strategies based on their learning styles. This research applied qualitative study. The subject of this research is the students of English literature class A in Universitas Negeri Makassar, who were selected through a purposive sampling technique. Thirty-five students were chosen as the subjects of this study. The data were obtained through questionnaires and interviews and then analyzed based on producers of data analysis identification, classification, and descriptive analysis. The result showed that i) there are some learning styles that students have, such as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic (VAK) learning styles; and ii) students' learning strategies based on their learning style where subjects engaged in several learning activities or methodologies. Two types of learning techniques were primarily considered: individual and group strategies. The individual strategies were marked by all of the activities the subjects had done, and the group strategies described the learning actions employed by the subjects to comprehend the knowledge or the lesson by engaging friends who could help them. Genetic logic gates can be employed in metabolic engineering and synthetic biology to regulate gene expression based on diverse inputs. Design of tunable genetic logic gates with versatile dynamic performance is essential for expanding the usability of these toolsets. Here, using the p-coumaric acid biosensor system as a proof-of-concept, we initially investigated the parameters influencing the buffer (BUF) genetic logic gates. Subsequently, integrating binding sequences from the p-coumaric acid biosensor system and tetR or lacI regulation systems into a constitutive promoter yielded AND genetic logic gates. Additionally, characterized antisense RNAs (asRNAs) or single guide RNAs (sgRNAs) with various repression efficiencies were combined with BUF gates to construct a suite of p-coumaric acid-triggered NOT genetic logic gates. Finally, the designed BUF and NOT gates were combined to construct bifunctional genetic circuits that were subjected to orthogonality evaluation. The genetic logic gates established in this study can serve as valuable tools in future applications of metabolic engineering and synthetic biology.

Power-operational problems must be resolved with flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS) and optimum power flow (OPF). The complexity of power flow analysis in modern power network models is increased by the unpredictability of renewable energy generating sources in addition to the challenge of determining the appropriate locations and ratings for FACTS devices. FACTS devices can increase the thermal capacity of power transmission lines, enabling the network to accommodate more electricity from renewable sources. The major goals of this study are to lower production costs, decrease power losses, enhance the voltage profile of the system, and enhance load capability. To solve a variety of optimization issues optimally, optimization meta-heuristics approaches have been created in response to the increased emphasis on renewable energy sources, such as wind power. Wind energy is an important component of modern power systems due to its affordability and clean nature. This article presents an OPF method for efficiently scheduling energy from wind farms using the Northern Goshawk Optimization (NGO) meta-heuristic technique. The Weibull probability distribution function is used to represent wind speed and estimate the cost of electricity produced by wind turbines based on the planned power. To validate the NGO approach and its results compared with those of other meta-heuristic optimization techniques, such as Chef-Based Optimization Algorithm, Dingo Optimization Algorithm, and Chameleon Swarm Algorithm, the IEEE system 30-bus is used to solve the OPF problem. This study examines students' reactions to lectures being online instead of in class; and, their instructional delivery preferences after the pandemic. The study was driven by students' queries demanding justifications for holding lectures online while they are on campus. Primary and secondary data were collected. The primary data was collected during a two-session faculty-students informal classroom discussion. Related published research articles from 2022-2024 were searched and collected as secondary data for a systematic review. Content analysis was used in analyzing the two sets of data collected. Three patterns emerged from the analysis of primary data indicating students' preference for in-class lectures while regarding the online class as a second option justified in the absence of face-to-face classroom teaching. Six patterns of information were identified from the analysis of the secondary data. The identified patterns indicated post-pandemic literature-based justification for hybrid and face-to-face classes as most recommended compared to online teaching. Cross-examination of related literature before, during, and after the pandemic shows increasing use of online and offline technology in distance and on-campus education while the value and preference for face-to-face classroom teaching on campus remained constant. The study in conclusion considers online teaching as the backbone of distance education; and, conventional technology-enhanced classroom teaching as the heart of on-campus education. As such, the positive effect of technology in educational practices is strengthening rather than threatening the value of classroom teaching in non-distance education programs. This study focuses on developing a fuzzy-based earned value analysis model for estimating the performance of projects. The model provides to make estimations getting closer and reduces the errors in calculations through the fuzzy linguistic terms. The data for this study were taken from projects which were done between 2020 and 2023 for the six sets of building projects. The data has been analyzed through a fuzzy-based earned value analysis model by using Microsoft Excel as a basic tool. It was found that the fuzzy-based SPI value for all projects was in Scenario 1, which implies that T(([Formula: see text])≥1) = 0 and T(([Formula: see text]) ≤ 1) = 1, So the work package is behind the schedule. Similarly, the value of fuzzy-based CPI for all projects except one were in Scenario 1, implies that T(([Formula: see text]) ≥1) = 0 and T(([Formula: see text]) ≤ 1) = 1, so the work package is behind the budget. Finally, it can be recommended that it needs to properly monitor, and control the project time, and cost to recover deviation in the remaining periods.

The spiritual values of Buddhism and Christianity, are two major world religions with profound influences on the lives and beliefs of millions of people. Buddhism, originating over 2,500 years ago with Siddhartha Gautama, "the Buddha," and Christianity, rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, offer rich spiritual values centered on compassion, love, morality, mindfulness, and forgiveness. Through an in-depth examination of these values, the study unveils their significance and influence in guiding the lives of adherents. Compassion, regarded as the cornerstone in both Buddhism and Christianity, drivesthe alleviation ofsuffering and ethical living. Love and charity are paramount in Christianity, while Buddhism emphasizes generosity. Moral conduct is fundamental in both, with Buddhism placing strong emphasis on the Noble Eightfold Path. Mindfulness is a shared practice, that promotes self-awareness and inner peace. Forgiveness, crucial in Christianity, emphasizes reconciliation and restoration. These values, though differently interpreted due to their theological foundations, demonstrate a universal theme of empathy and interconnectedness. This study further accentuates the relevance of these shared values in the contemporary world, fostering dialogue between Buddhists and Christians to cultivate a more compassionate and understanding society. Objective: The aim was to determine the research question which addresses the accuracy of the terms Overuse injury & Training load error in sports injuries. Literature Search: Google scholar, PubMed & AJSM databases were searched from inception to 2nd September 2023. Study Selection Criteria: The studies were included if the participants were athletes regardless of the type of sport & gender. Studies consisting overuse injuries, training load errors & comparison among the two were included. Data Synthesis: The quality of studies was assessed using JBI Critical Appraisal Tool. The level of evidence was defined as strong & of high quality. Results: 2672 studies were identified along with 5 articles from sources other than database search. 14 studies met the inclusion criteria & were added to the review. 11 studies concluded that increased training performance is directly proportional to the increased risk of injury. 3 studies directly call out for our field to replace the term Overuse injury with Training Load Errors. One of the studies specifies by stating that all overuse injuries are training load errors. 5 studies specifies that, even though there are negative effects of training errors, proper training prescription can act as a protective agent against injury. This work showcases the implementation of 16 Boolean logic functions through a double-gate (DG) fully depleted (FD) Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor-Field-Effect-Transistor (MOSFET). The DG-FD-SOI device with an independent gate operation highlights that Boolean logic functions can be implemented in two steps (Program and Read), and Boolean logic output “High” (“1”) and “Low” (“0”) depends on the floating body effect. The Program (Step 1) operation is based on band-to-band tunneling and forward bias mechanisms, while the Read (Step 2) operation is based on drift and impact ionization mechanism. The program and read operations for logic-in-memory computing are performed in ~10 ns and consume low energy ( $\sim 4.04\times 10 ^{-14}$ J) during the read operation. The results also show that the device with optimized device dimensions, biasing, and timing scheme achieves a drain current ratio of $\sim 10^{5}$ . These results reveal that DG-FD-SOI-based MOSFET for logic-in-memory computing is a compelling alternative to the limitations of von Neumann architectures, offering significant speed and energy efficiency advantages.

This study examines the effect of low molecular weight acid (LMA), moisture and oxygen on the thermal ageing characteristics of refined, bleached, and deodorised palm oil (RBDPO). The paper moisture was varied between 0.5% and 3.5%. The oil was initially subjected to 0.2 g of LMA and 20 mbar of oxygen pressure. The thermal ageing experiment was performed at 120 °C and 140 °C for 28 days. Several dielectric and physiochemical parameters were measured which included dielectric dissipation factor, relative permittivity, resistivity, moisture in oil, acidity, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). It is found that LMA and moisture in paper do not affect the relative permittivity of RBDPO and mineral oil (MO). The dielectric dissipation factor of RBDPO and MO reveals slight increment trends within the ageing time. The decrements of resistivities occur after 7 days of ageing for both RBDPO and MO while only RBDPO shows decrement trend of moisture in oil. The ageing patterns of relative permittivities, dielectric dissipation factors and resistivities for RBDPO are similar to MO. The increment of acidity for RBDPO is more apparent that MO throughout the ageing time. All RBDPOs are more resistant to ageing than MO based on the TGA. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Based on the density functional theory, the mechanism of intermolecular interaction between two energetic ionic salts dihydroxylammonium 5,5′-bistetrazole-1,1′-diolate (TKX-50) and ammonium dinitramide (ADN) was studied to determine the possibility of producing mixed crystals. Under the calculation level of M062X-D3/def2-TZVP, the five possible results were obtained by searching the configuration of the TKX-50/ADN complex. Then, the nature and strength of the intermolecular interaction were analyzed by methods of noncovalent interaction, energy decomposition, electrostatic potential, topological of electron density. The results show that there is a strong interaction between TKX-50 and ADN, and the complex can be formed by hydrogen bond and van der Waals interaction. The electrostatic action plays a significant role in the binding interaction; the action of dispersion and induction plays an auxiliary effect together. The formation enthalpies of the TKX-50/ADN complex range from 281.67683 to 296.69469 kJ·mol−1. The calculation results of HOMO–LUMO energy gap and oxygen balance indicate that it is possible to reduce the impact sensitivity and improve the oxygen balance of TKX-50 by forming complexes. Solid wastes are substances thrown away by the institutions of individual households in the urban community. The solid waste management practice in Asella town was inappropriate caused environmental pollution and exposed different urban health difficulties. The main objective was to determine the environmental and health impacts of solid waste management problems and associated factors in Asella town. Data collection was carried out through a house-to-house community survey process with a method of cross-sectional study design. A total sample size of 418 households was selected and implemented a simple random and systematic probability sampling technique. The statistical analysis of the binary logistic regression model was used to perform the correlational test about health issues in Asella town.The environmental impact assessment indicators were 13.4% soil pollution, 31.6% air pollution, 20.8% environmental deterioration, and 34.2% water pollution. The health impact indicators were 49.5% respiratory diseases, 18.2% asthmatic (bronchitis) cases, 15.8% diarrheal diseases, 14.8% protozoan illnesses, and 1.7% cancer cases.The odds ratio of females AOR = 1.18; 95%, CI:0.48–2.89, educational districts of can't read and write AOR = 2.31: 95% CI = 0.48–11.1, primary cycle AOR = 2.32, 95% CI:0.58–9.21, Secondary cycle AOR = 2.19, 95% CI = 0.60–7.98, and tertiary cycle AOR = 4.98, 95% C1.06–23.46. the odds ratio of house ownership of government AOR = 2.95, 95% CI:0.54–16.14, private households AOR = 4.18, 95% CI:0.79–22.16 and rented house property AOR = 1.71, 95% CI:0.32–9.18. This research was conducted to provide an example of predictive business intelligence (BI) dashboard implementation for the food and beverage business (businesses that sell fast-expired goods). This research was conducted using data from a bakery's transactional database. The data are used to perform demand forecasting using extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), and recency, frequency, and monetary value (RFM) analysis using mini batch k-means (MBKM). The data are processed and displayed in a BI dashboard created using Microsoft Power BI. The XGBoost model created resulted in a root mean square error (RMSE) value of 0.188 and an R2 score of 0.931. The MBKM model created resulted in a Dunn index value of 0.4264, a silhouette score value of 0.4421, and a Davies-Bouldin index value of 0.8327. After the BI dashboard is evaluated by the end user using a questionnaire, the BI dashboard gets a final score of 4.77 out of 5. From the BI dashboard evaluation, it was concluded that the predictive BI dashboard succeeded in helping the analysis process in the bakery business by: accelerating the decision-making process, implementing a data-driven decision-making system, and helping businesses discover new insights. BackgroundPediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) teams provide care for critically ill children with diverse and often complex medical and surgical conditions. Researchers often lack guidance on an approach to select the best outcomes when evaluating this critically ill population. Studies would be enhanced by incorporating multi-stakeholder preferences to better evaluate clinical care. This manuscript outlines the methodology currently being used to develop a PICU Core Outcome Set (COS). This PICU COS utilizes mixed methods, an inclusive stakeholder approach, and a modified Delphi consensus process that will serve as a resource for PICU research programs.MethodsA Scoping Review of the PICU literature evaluating outcomes after pediatric critical illness, a qualitative study interviewing PICU survivors and their parents, and other relevant literature will serve to inform a modified, international Delphi consensus process. The Delphi process will derive a set of minimum domains for evaluation of outcomes of critically ill children and their families. Delphi respondents include researchers, multidisciplinary clinicians, families and former patients, research funding agencies, payors, and advocates. Consensus meetings will refine and finalize the domains of the COS, outline a battery instruments for use in future studies, and prepare for extensive dissemination for broad implementation.DiscussionThe PICU COS will be a guideline resource for investigators to assure that outcomes most important to all stakeholders are considered in PICU clinical research in addition to those deemed most important to individual scientists.Trial registrationCOMET database (http://www.comet-initiative.org/, Record ID 1131, 01/01/18).

The induction motor is extremely well known and used as an alternating current (AC) machine. Therefore, torque and speed regulations are very essential for this type of machine. This paper presents direct torque control (DTC) based on induction motors (IM). The mathematical model of IM is reported, and the machine is modeled in a synchronous coordinate farm. Classic DTC is applied to IM with two bandwidths of hysteresis controller for electromagnetic torque and stator flux. The system is simulated and investigated via MATLAB/Simulink and the results carry out a high ripple on the torque. There are numerous of improving torque response, one of them is adding a new loop for speed with proportional, integral, and derivative (PID) controllers. IM model with PID based on DTC is simulated through MATLAB. A contrast performance of IM is presented between traditional DTC and DTC with PID. Memristors, as new electronic elements, have been under rigorous study in recent years, owing to their good memory and switching properties, low power consumption, nano-dimensions and a good compatibility to present integrated circuits, related to their promising applications in electronic circuits and chips. The main purpose of this paper is the application and analysis of the operations of metal–oxide memristors in logic gates and complex schemes, using several standard and modified memristor models and a comparison between their behavior in LTSPICE at a hard-switching, paying attention to their fast operation and switching properties. Several basic logic gates—OR, AND, NOR, NAND, XOR, based on memristors and CMOS transistors are considered. The logic schemes based on memristors are applicable in electronic circuits with artificial intelligence. They are analyzed in LTSPICE for pulse signals and a hard-switching functioning of the memristors. The analyses confirm the proper, fast operation and good switching properties of the considered modified memristor models in logical circuits, compared to several standard models. The modified models are compared to several classical models, according to some significant criteria such as operating frequency, simulation time, accuracy, complexity and switching properties. Introduction: Among varied substance abuse, tobacco abuse is a common relapsing addiction among youth. The relationship of tobacco abuse in varying grades of dental caries (DC) is worthy of study. This study was planned with a null hypothesis, there is no difference in varying grades of DC in tobacco and related substance abusers to those of nonabusers in the population visiting institute. Materials and Methods: The present study comprised 270 adults, 135 participants in each group, with age ranged from 20 years to 50 years including both gender. Study group formed of smokers, tobacco abusers, smokeless tobacco abusers, gutka, betel nut, and a combination of these two, whereas the healthy, nonhabit group formed control. DC was measured using the decayed, missing, and filled teeth (DMFT) index. Oral hygiene was evaluated by recording a simplified Oral Hygiene Index (OHI). Results: DC was found higher in individuals with habits (mean DMFT: 4.73 ± 4.32) as compared to those of nonhabit group (mean DMFT: 3.17 ± 3.11), and the difference was statistically significant (P = 0.001). OHI was significantly higher in tobacco abusers than those of nonabusers (P = 0.0001). In the case of both moderate and severe caries, the duration and frequency of tobacco abuse was significantly associated with a pattern of DC (P = 0.001). As the frequency of tobacco and related substance abuse increased, caries (DMFT) also increased (r = 0.15 and P = 0.013), and it was statistically highly significant. Conclusion: Psychoactive substance abuse along with poor oral hygiene, in any form of smokeless or smoking form of tobacco habit, is a risk for increased caries activity, and it is higher in smokeless tobacco abusers as compared to smokers.

Background: Chronic malnutrition is the consequence of long-term nutritional deficiency resulting in non-communicable disease and reduced productivity in later life. This situation primarily manifests through physical stunting, a term used to individuals short for their age in comparison to reference population of same age. Criteria for cases and controls: Case: is defind based on the world health organization (WHO) 2006 reference population. Children whose height for age z score for height ≤ −2 SD while.Controls: is children whose z score for height > -2 SD to z score for height +2 SD. Objective: to find determinants of stunting among children aged between 6 and 59 months. Methods: A community-based unmatched case-control study was conducted on 566 study participants (188 case and 378 controls) from March to May 2019. Nutritional status was determined using the WHO reference population. A structured questioner was used to collect data through interviews and anthropometric measurement. Data entry was made in Epi-data version 4.6.02, and the analysis was carried out using IBM SPSS version 26 software. Binary logistic and multivariable logistic regression was done. Multicollinearity was checked using the tolerance testand variance inflation factors. Hosmer- Lemeshow goodness of fit test was used to see model fitness. Adjusted odds ratios and 95% CI at P-values ≤ 0.05 were considered to affirm statistically significant factors. Results: The study participants' response rate was 100% for both cases and controls. The mean age of the children was 28 ± 11.2 months for the case and 28.6 ± 6 months for control with the standard deviation. Factors significantly associated with stunting were poor household dietary diversity (AOR = 10.37, 95% CI; 5.39–19.94), middle household dietary diversity (AOR = 3.78, 95% CI; 1.38–10.38), family size ≥5 (AOR = 6.27, 95% CI; 3.37–11.66) and have no consumption of animal food source (AOR = 7.43, 95% CI; 4.3–12.8) Conclusion: This study relived that four variables were significantly associated with stunting. These are low household dietary diversity, medium household dietary diversity, family size, and animal source food. Image dehazing aims to remove haze in images to improve their image quality. However, most image dehazing methods heavily depend on strict prior knowledge and paired training strategy, which would hinder generalization and performance when dealing with unseen scenes. In this paper, to address the above problem, we propose Bidirectional Normalizing Flow (BiN-Flow), which exploits no prior knowledge and constructs a neural network through weakly-paired training with better generalization for image dehazing. Specifically, BiN-Flow designs 1) Feature Frequency Decoupling (FFD) for mining the various texture details through multi-scale residual blocks and 2) Bidirectional Propagation Flow (BPF) for exploiting the one-to-many relationships between hazy and haze-free images using a sequence of invertible Flow. In addition, BiN-Flow constructs a reference mechanism (RM) that uses a small number of paired hazy and haze-free images and a large number of haze-free reference images for weakly-paired training. Essentially, the mutual relationships between hazy and haze-free images could be effectively learned to further improve the generalization and performance for image dehazing. We conduct extensive experiments on five commonly-used datasets to validate the BiN-Flow. The experimental results that BiN-Flow outperforms all state-of-the-art competitors demonstrate the capability and generalization of our BiN-Flow. Introduction: Among varied substance abuse, tobacco abuse is a common relapsing addiction among youth. The relationship of tobacco abuse in varying grades of dental caries (DC) is worthy of study. This study was planned with a null hypothesis, there is no difference in varying grades of DC in tobacco and related substance abusers to those of nonabusers in the population visiting institute. Materials and Methods: The present study comprised 270 adults, 135 participants in each group, with age ranged from 20 years to 50 years including both gender. Study group formed of smokers, tobacco abusers, smokeless tobacco abusers, gutka, betel nut, and a combination of these two, whereas the healthy, nonhabit group formed control. DC was measured using the decayed, missing, and filled teeth (DMFT) index. Oral hygiene was evaluated by recording a simplified Oral Hygiene Index (OHI). Results: DC was found higher in individuals with habits (mean DMFT: 4.73 ± 4.32) as compared to those of nonhabit group (mean DMFT: 3.17 ± 3.11), and the difference was statistically significant (P = 0.001). OHI was significantly higher in tobacco abusers than those of nonabusers (P = 0.0001). In the case of both moderate and severe caries, the duration and frequency of tobacco abuse was significantly associated with a pattern of DC (P = 0.001). As the frequency of tobacco and related substance abuse increased, caries (DMFT) also increased (r = 0.15 and P = 0.013), and it was statistically highly significant. Conclusion: Psychoactive substance abuse along with poor oral hygiene, in any form of smokeless or smoking form of tobacco habit, is a risk for increased caries activity, and it is higher in smokeless tobacco abusers as compared to smokers. Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin Ömer Seyfettin’in And adlı öyküsünde yer alan şiddet olgusu hakkındaki görüşlerini tespit etmektir. Araştırma, Tuşba Kaymakamlık makamından araştırma izni alındıktan sonra 2021 yılı Ocak ayında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Van ili Tuşba ilçesine bağlı İsmail Hakkı Tonguç Ortaokulu 6-A sınıfında öğrenim gören 22 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomenoloji (olgubilim) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında uzman görüşü alınarak geliştirilen ve açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış, verilerin çözümlenmesinde ise içerik analizi yöntemine başvurulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin eserde yer alan şiddet sahnelerini beğenmedikleri, şiddet içeren bölümlerden etkilendikleri, bu bölümleri eserden çıkarmak istedikleri tespit edilmiştir.

This study presents a feature enriched AND dataset to develop diverse and better performance achieving AND techniques, by utilizing AND features which have better discriminating abilities to solve this problem. Current AND datasets have limited number of useful AND features in them, some of them have been curated keeping in mind specific scenarios or contexts and some of them are domain specific. Rather than limiting the labelled datasets to be domain specific, contextual or hold limited feature values, it is better to leave their usage limit as a choice with respect to the technique which is trying to solve this problem. In this paper, our proposed labelled dataset "CustAND" provides a set of 7886 publication records, where each record covers more than eleven useful features values. The dataset covers multi domains as well as different ethnical group authors. CustAND is collected from multiple web sources, where raw data is extracted from digital libraries and search engines. This data is later cross checked, hand labelled and confirmed (authorship confirmation) by a team of graduate students with 100% accuracy. The raw data after pre-processing is validated by checking author's personal web pages, different profile pages, their affiliations, and emails. This new dataset complements the availability of useful feature values which are crucial in developing generic and better performance achieving techniques to solve the author's name ambiguity problem generally faced by the digital libraries. We have perused the absorbency of N2H4, P2H4, O2H2 and S2H2 molecules on the exterior level of pristine and Al- and Ga-embeded B12N12 nanostructures using through density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The consequences indicates that most favorable adsorption configurations are those in which the nitrogen atom of hydrazine (N2H4) is closed to boron, Aluminum and Gallium atoms of pristine and Al- and Ga-embeded B12N12 nanostructures, respectively, with adsorption energies circa -1.801, -2.397, and -2.071 eV. Geometry optimizations, energy calculations and NBO charge transfer were used to evaluate the impression ability of B12N12 for various analytes. The computed density of states (DOS) displaies that a notable orbital hybridization be take place between N2H4 P2H4, O2H2 and S2H2 molecules with pristine and Al- and Ga-embeded B11N12 nanostructures adsorption process. Finally, we concluded that the Al-embeded B11N12 is more desirable than that of the pristine for N2H4 adsorption.

In this paper, OR and AND logic gate functions are realized in a triangular lattice using two dimensional photonic crystal (2DPC). The proposed design of logic gates are based on the phenomenon of resonance and interference. The OR and AND logic gates are constructed by varying the rod radius and by creating Y-shaped waveguide in the structure. Initially, the OR gate is designed with reference input and without reference input and it's extended for AND gate. The functional parameters of the logic gates such as response period, bit rate, contrast ratio and field distribution of different logics are investigated through 2D finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. The contrast ratio, response period, bit rate and size of the three input OR gate are 30 dB, 0.52 ps, 1.92 Tbps and 12.6 μm×11 μm, respectively. Similarly, the aforementioned parameters are estimated for two input OR gate, two input AND gate and three input AND gate. The proposed logic gates are highly desirable for integrated optics. Orenes and Johnson-Laird gave arguments to show that the conjunction commutativity law, that is, the principle providing that the order of the conjuncts has no influence on a coordinating conjunction such as 'and', is not respected by natural language. Their point was that both semantics and pragmatics are more important than syntax, and that, for that reason, semantic and pragmatic factors can change the sense of a sentence with 'and' if the order of its conjuncts is reversed. This paper suggests an IoT based smart farming system along with an efficient prediction method called WPART based on machine learning techniques to predict crop productivity and drought for proficient decision support making in IoT based smart farming systems. The crop productivity and drought predictions is very important to the farmers and agriculture's executives, which greatly help agriculture-affected countries around the world. Drought prediction plays a significant role in drought early warning to mitigate its impacts on crop productivity, drought prediction research aims to enhance our understanding of the physical mechanism of drought and improve predictability skill by taking full advantage of sources of predictability. In this work, an intelligent method based on the blend of a wrapper feature selection approach, and PART classification technique is proposed for crop productivity and drought predicting. Five datasets are used for estimating the proposed method. The results indicated that the projected method is robust, accurate, and precise to classify and predict crop productivity and drought in comparison with the existing techniques. From the results, the proposed method proved to be most accurate in providing drought prediction as well as the productivity of crops like Bajra, Soybean, Jowar, and Sugarcane. The WPART method attains the maximum accuracy compared to the existing supreme standard algorithms, it is obtained up to 92.51%, 96.77%, 98.04%, 96.12%, and 98.15% for the five datasets for drought classification, and crop productivity respectively. Solid wastes are substances thrown away by the institutions of individual households in the urban community. The solid waste management practice in Asella town was inappropriate caused environmental pollution and exposed different urban health difficulties. The main objective was to determine the environmental and health impacts of solid waste management problems and associated factors in Asella town. Data collection was carried out through a house-to-house community survey process with a method of cross-sectional study design. A total sample size of 418 households was selected and implemented a simple random and systematic probability sampling technique. The statistical analysis of the binary logistic regression model was used to perform the correlational test about health issues in Asella town. The environmental impact assessment indicators were 13.4% soil pollution, 31.6% air pollution, 20.8% environmental deterioration, and 34.2% water pollution. The health impact indicators were 49.5% respiratory diseases, 18.2% asthmatic (bronchitis) cases, 15.8% diarrheal diseases, 14.8% protozoan illnesses, and 1.7% cancer cases. The odds ratio of females AOR = 1.18; 95%, CI:0.48-2.89, educational districts of can't read and write AOR = 2.31: 95% CI = 0.48-11.1, primary cycle AOR = 2.32, 95% CI:0.58-9.21, Secondary cycle AOR = 2.19, 95% CI = 0.60-7.98, and tertiary cycle AOR = 4.98, 95% C1.06-23.46. the odds ratio of house ownership of government AOR = 2.95, 95% CI:0.54-16.14, private households AOR = 4.18, 95% CI:0.79-22.16 and rented house property AOR = 1.71, 95% CI:0.32-9.18. The odds ratio of income group of lower status AOR = 2.0, 95% CI:0.91-4.98, middle income AOR = 5.7, 95% CI: 0.73-44.53 and higher income AOR = 2.8, 95% CI:0.35-23.14. The odds ratio for sorting of solid waste AOR = 1.38, 95% CI:0.56-3.40, and reusing of solid waste AOR = 7.90, 95% CI:2.12-29.42. Thus, the odds ratio of reusing solid waste was statistically significant correlated factors that limit health issues in Asella town. Therefore, the inadequate solid waste management practice was a query for environmental and health impacts in Asella town. Objectives: Improved ability to predict impairments after critical illness could guide clinical decision-making, inform trial enrollment, and facilitate comprehensive patient recovery. A systematic review of the literature was conducted to investigate whether physical, cognitive, and mental health impairments could be predicted in adult survivors of critical illness.Data Sources: A systematic search of PubMed and the Cochrane Library (Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews ID: CRD42018117255) was undertaken on December 8, 2018, and the final searches updated on January 20, 2019.Study Selection: Four independent reviewers assessed titles and abstracts against study eligibility criteria. Studies were eligible if a prediction model was developed, validated, or updated for impairments after critical illness in adult patients. Discrepancies were resolved by consensus or an independent adjudicator.Data Extraction: Data on study characteristics, timing of outcome measurement, candidate predictors, and analytic strategies used were extracted. Risk of bias was assessed using the Prediction model Risk Of Bias Assessment Tool.Data Synthesis: Of 8,549 screened studies, three studies met inclusion. All three studies focused on the development of a prediction model to predict (1) a mental health composite outcome at 3 months post discharge, (2) return-to-pre-ICU functioning and residence at 6 months post discharge, and (3) physical function 2 months post discharge. Only one model had been externally validated. All studies had a high risk of bias, primarily due to the sample size, and statistical methods used to develop and select the predictors for the prediction published model.Conclusions: We only found three studies that developed a prediction model of any post-ICU impairment. There are several opportunities for improvement for future prediction model development, including the use of standardized outcomes and time horizons, and improved study design and statistical methodology. If $\Omega$ is non-smooth and if $q \leq p \leq n-1$, we show that compactness of the $\overline\partial$-Neumann operator, $N_{p+1}$, on square integrable (0, p+1)-forms is equivalent to compactness of the commutators $[B_p,\overline z_j]$, $1 \leq j \leq n$, on square integrable $\overline\partial$-closed (0, p)-forms, where $B_p$ is the Bergman projection on (0, p)-forms. Moreover, we prove that compactness of the commutator of $B_p$ with bounded functions percolates up in the $\overline\partial$-complex on $\overline\partial$-closed forms and square integrable holomorphic forms. Furthermore, we find a characterization of compactness of the canonical solution operator, $S_{p+1}$, of the $\overline\partial$-equation restricted on (0, p+1)-forms with holomorphic coefficients in terms of compactness of commutators $[T_p^{z_j*},T_p^{z_j}]$, $1 \leq j \leq n$, on (0, p)-forms with holomorphic coefficients, where $T_p^{z_j}$ is the Bergman-Toeplitz operator acting on (0, p)-forms with symbol $z_j$. The assessment of the scientific expert DNA test in the criminal proceedings must be based on banishing some myths and paradigms, which have often made it difficult or excluded to control this means of proof by the criminal judge. Thus, the scientificity of the DNA test cannot exclude the assessment by the Judge which must focus, on the one hand, on the analysis of the expert procedure, in accordance with established scientific standards and on the other hand, the reliability of its conclusions resulted in the DNA scientific expert report. In this way, the Judge will act as an epistemologist who will not assume the position of scientist but as an evaluator of the correctness of this scientific test and issue an assessment with the other available means of proof. This position has been assumed by our Supreme Court of Justice that in The Plenary Agreement No. 4-2015/CIJ-116, it has provided valuation criteria inspired by those established in the American system from the Daubert case.
