Abstract
- Through an analysis of the Google case, this article shows the need to rethink the critical approach in the field of media and information literacy (MIL), by introducing two little-used theoretical currents: the ethno-semiotic approach and the political economy of communication. The combination of these two approaches provides the keys to understanding contemporary issues and dealing with new live questions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
