Abstract To improve the discharge equalization efficiency of the battery and prevent the occurrence of overdischarge, in this paper, the 18,650 ternary lithium battery is taken as the object of investigation, and an alternating equalization control system for the discharge process of serial cells is proposed. The system implements the alternating discharge of serial cells by switching on and off, using state of charge (SOC) as the equalization variable, and eventually completes the equalization control of the entire battery pack. Discharge simulations were performed in Matlab/Simulink for faulty and normal operating conditions of the battery pack, respectively. The findings indicate that even in the presence of a malfunction, the battery pack can continue to operate continuously for a while; in contrast, under ideal circumstances, the battery pack is capable of maintaining SOC balance throughout the discharge process. Eventually, five batteries are used to construct the experimental platform for the alternating equalization system. The battery pack can still perform selective discharge under fault conditions until the battery pack reaches the discharge cutoff condition. Under normal conditions, the maximum SOC difference of all five batteries can stabilize at about 1%. The experimental results show that the proposed equalization control system can achieve the equalization of battery discharge and prolong the discharge time, and can prevent the occurrence of battery over discharge.

Nowadays, teachers have begun to try to carry out teaching innovation, but there is still the phenomenon of copying the traditional course content and teaching form on the online teaching platform. Aiming at these types of teaching problems, this paper proposes research on the innovation of English translation teaching modes based on deep learning. In order to better analyze the effect of positional distance on word vectors, the PW-CBOW model is constructed on the basis of the structure of the CBOW model, and its parameters are optimized using the Adam optimizer. When the input and output are both indeterminate long sequences, a decoder-encoder is used for processing. The machine translation model is jointly constructed by combining the attention mechanism and the bidirectional gated loop unit. The English teaching model that combines the machine translation model is exemplified by using data analysis software. The results present that this paper’s model has +3.15 and +2.12 more BLEU points than the Transformer model and DynamicConv, respectively, and there is a significant difference between this paper’s teaching model and the traditional teaching model in the three dimensions of final grades, stage grades, and project grades, all of which satisfy P

Category: Ankle; Arthroscopy; Hindfoot; Trauma Introduction/Purpose: Osteochondral lesion of the talus (OLTs) is a common condition found in patients with chronic ankle pain after previous ankle sprains. Conservative measures such as analgesics, activity modification and immobilisation of the affected ankle are usually applied as first line treatments. Surgical management are indicated after conservative management have failed. This study evaluates the influence of body mass index (BMI) on the early clinical outcomes of arthroscopic debridement and microfracture of OLTs. Methods: An IRB approved study was conducted between 2007 and 2017. A total of 252 patients with symptomatic OLTs who failed conservative management underwent arthroscopic debridement and microfracture of OLTs over the affected ankle. Postoperatively, all patients underwent a standardised postoperative rehabilitation protocol. Patients who underwent previous fractures, previous infections or associated ligamentous injury of the affected ankle were excluded from this study. Patients from this cohort were divided into two groups based on BMI. The normal BMI group (NB-Group) (BMI 18.5-25.0kg/m 2 ) and raised BMI group (RB-Group) (BMI >=25kg/m 2 ). Visual Analogue Score (VAS), American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) Hindfoot Score as well as the Physical and Mental Components of the Short-Form 36 Questionnaire (PCS and MCS respectively) were prospectively collected from these cohort during their standard postoperative outpatient follow up. Results: A total of 252 patients were reviewed. Patients from either group were otherwise well matched demographically (Table 1). The operative duration was significantly shorter for NB-Group compared to RB-Group. Patients from both groups had significant improvement VAS, AOFAS and PCS scores postoperatively at 6 months and 24 months after surgery (Table 2).Between both groups, patients had comparable VAS, AOFAS as well as PCS scores at preoperative, 6 months postoperative and 24 months postoperatively (p > 0.05). However, MCS in the RB-Group showed a gradual deterioration over 24 months postoperatively and was significantly poorer compared to the NB-Group at 24 months (p = 0.036) (Figure 1). Conclusion: Arthroscopic debridement and microfracture is a reliable procedure, providing significant improvement in pain relief and functional improvement in patients. A raised BMI did not adversely affect pain and functional outcomes. However, patients with raised BMI required a longer duration of procedure and had significantly poorer MCS scores at 24 months after surgery.

Hundreds of NPC1 variants cause highly heterogeneous phenotypes. This study aims to explore the genotype–phenotype correlation of NPC1, especially for missense variants. In a well‐characterized cohort, phenotypes are graded into three clinical forms: mild, intermediate, and severe. Missense residue structural location was stratified into three categories: surface, partially, and fully buried. The association of phenotypes with the topography of the amino acid substitution in the protein structure was investigated in our cohort and validated in two reported cohorts. One hundred six unrelated NPC1 patients were enrolled. A significant correlation of genotype–phenotype was found in 81 classified individuals with two or one (the second was null variant) missense variant (p < 0.001): of 25 patients with at least one missense variant of surface (group A), 19 (76%) mild, six (24%) intermediate, and none severe; of 31 cases with at least one missense variant of partially buried without surface variants (group B), 11 (35%) mild, 16 (52%) intermediate, and four (13%) severe; of the remaining 25 patients with two or one buried missense variants (group C), eight (32%) mild, nine (36%) intermediate, and eight (32%) severe. Additionally, 7‐ketocholesterol, the biomarker, was lower in group A than in group B (p = 0.024) and group C (p = 0.029). A model was proposed that accurately predicted phenotypes of 72 of 90 (80%), 73 of85 (86%), and 64 of 69 (93%) patients in our cohort, Italian, and UK cohort, respectively. This study proposed a novel genotype–phenotype correlation in NPC1, linking the underlying molecular pathophysiology with clinical phenotype and aiding genetic counseling and evaluation in clinical practice. Lithium-ion batteries which are used in electric vehicles cannot be charged to their maximum capacity at the end of the charging period, a situation which is caused by inconsistency between the battery cells. This paper takes the 18650 ternary lithium battery as the research object and proposes an alternate equalization control system in the charging process. This system takes SOC consistency to be the equalization variable. Through controlling the relay, this system realizes the alternate recombination between different batteries in order to form a series battery group for charging, which achieves the goal of SOC equalization of the entire battery group. The simulation result of charge equalization, based on Matlab/Simulink, shows that at the end of the charging simulation, the SOC inconsistency of the battery group reduced from 10% to 1%. Finally, an experimental platform was built in order to verify the experiment. During the charge balance experiment, the maximum SOC inconsistency between the batteries reduced from 1.542% to 1.035%. The SOC inconsistency at the end of charging reduced from 1.214% to 0.8%, which represents an improvement of the equalization effect of the control system. The experimental results are consistent with the simulation results, which proves the effectiveness of the system’s ability to control the battery SOC balance during the charging process.

Wheat stripe rust caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici is one of the most devastating diseases of wheat worldwide and resistant cultivars are vital for its management. Therefore, investigating the heterozygosity of the pathogen is important because of rapid virulence changes in isolates heterozygous for avirulence/virulence. An isolate of P. striiformis f. sp. tritici was selfed on Berberis shensiana to determine the heterozygosity for avirulence/virulence loci. One hundred and twenty progeny isolates obtained from this selfing were phenotyped using 25 lines of wheat containing Yr genes and genotyped with 96 simple sequencing repeat markers, with 51 pathotypes and 55 multi-locus genotypes being identified. All of these were avirulent on lines with Yr5, Yr10, Yr15, Yr24 and Yr26 and virulent on lines with Yr17, Yr25 and YrA, indicating that the parental isolate was homozygously avirulent or homozygously virulent for these loci. Segregation was found for wheat lines with Yr1, Yr2, Yr4, Yr6, Yr7, Yr8, Yr9, Yr27, Yr28, Yr32, Yr43, Yr44, YrExp2, YrSp, YrTr1, YrTye and YrV23. The 17 cultivars to which the Pst was identified as heterozygous with respect to virulence/avirulence should not be given priority in breeding programs to obtain new resistant cultivars.
