Myopia is a serious threat to children's visual health, and high myopia can not only cause vision loss, but also lead to severe complications and even blindness. In recent years, with the rising incidence of myopia and the increasing awareness of myopia, the problem of myopia has been widely concerned. At present, the specific mechanism of the incidence and progression of myopia remains ambiguous, and it is generally believed that the sclera is the effector of myopia. With the development of myopia and axial growth, the structure and function of the eyeball change accordingly. The high rates of axial length growth leads to scleral remodeling and accelerated thinning of the posterior pole sclera. Myopia changes the normal tissue structure and biomechanical properties of the sclera, and the regulation of related gene expression is the key to these changes. With the help of myopia animal models and gene sequencing technology, a large number of researchers have found that scleral extracellular matrix remodeling is closely related to the occurrence and development of myopia. This paper discusses the changes of sclera structure and related genes in the development of myopia. It provides ideas for exploring the mechanism of scleral remodeling in myopia and finding new target of treatment.

Abstract Unprotected gradient exchange in federated learning (FL) systems may lead to gradient leakage-related attacks. CKKS is a promising approximate homomorphic encryption scheme to protect gradients, owing to its unique capability of performing operations directly on ciphertexts. However, configuring CKKS security parameters involves a trade-off between correctness, efficiency, and security. An evaluation gap exists regarding how these parameters impact computational performance. Additionally, the maximum vector length that CKKS can once encrypt, recommended by Homomorphic Encryption Standardization, is 16384, hampers its widespread adoption in FL when encrypting layers with numerous neurons. To protect gradients’ privacy in FL systems while maintaining practical performance, we comprehensively analyze the influence of security parameters such as polynomial modulus degree and coefficient modulus on homomorphic operations. Derived from our evaluation findings, we provide a method for selecting the optimal multiplication depth while meeting operational requirements. Then, we introduce an adaptive segmented encryption method tailored for CKKS, circumventing its encryption length constraint and enhancing its processing ability to encrypt neural network models. Finally, we present FedSHE, a privacy-preserving and efficient Federated learning scheme with adaptive Segmented CKKS Homomorphic Encryption. FedSHE is implemented on top of the federated averaging (FedAvg) algorithm and is available at https://github.com/yooopan/FedSHE . Our evaluation results affirm the correctness and effectiveness of our proposed method, demonstrating that FedSHE outperforms existing homomorphic encryption-based federated learning research efforts in terms of model accuracy, computational efficiency, communication cost, and security level.

Abstract Purpose The aim of this study was to describe the longitudinal developmental trajectories and its influencing factors of sexual activity in patients with breast cancer during treatment. Methods A prospective longitudinal study was conducted, including 225 newly diagnosed breast cancer patients in A tumor specialty three-class hospital in Southwest China. We measured sexual activity at the time of admission and diagnosis (T0) and one month (T1), three months (T2), six months (T3), and nine months (T4) after diagnosis. A trajectory analysis model (GBTM) was used to explore the changes in sexual activity in breast cancer patients. Multivariate binary logistic regression analysis was used to analyse the factors that affected the classification of sexual activity trajectories. Results The ratio of sexual activity abruptly declined from 100% at baseline to 39.1% at T1. The percentage of sexual activity was improved, from 51.4% at T2 to 63.1% at T4. The optimal model was a 2-group trajectory of sexual activity in breast cancer patients,36.6% in the “low activity group” and 63.4% in the “high activity group.” The multivariate binary logistic regression analysis revealed statistically significant and positive correlations between sexual activity and age (β = 0.085, OR = 1.089, 95%CI 1.035 ∼ 1.145, P = 0.001),libido(β = 0.774, OR = 2.168, 95%CI 1.337 ∼ 3.515, P = 0.002), vaginal lubrication(β = 1.254, OR = 33.503, 95%CI 2.000 ∼ 6.137, P

Abstract Domesticated safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) is a widely cultivated edible oil crop. However, despite its economic importance, the genetic basis underlying key traits such as oil content, resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses, and flowering time remains poorly understood. Here, we present the genome assembly for C. tinctorius variety Jihong01, which was obtained by integrating Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) and BGI-SEQ500 sequencing results. The assembled genome was 1,061.1 Mb, and consisted of 32,379 protein-coding genes, 97.71% of which were functionally annotated. Safflower had a recent whole genome duplication (WGD) event in evolution history and diverged from sunflower approximately 37.3 million years ago. Through comparative genomic analysis at five seed development stages, we unveiled the pivotal roles of fatty acid desaturase 2 (FAD2) and fatty acid desaturase 6 (FAD6) in linoleic acid (LA) biosynthesis. Similarly, the differential gene expression analysis further reinforced the significance of these genes in regulating LA accumulation. Moreover, our investigation of seed fatty acid composition at different seed developmental stages unveiled the crucial roles of FAD2 and FAD6 in LA biosynthesis. These findings offer important insights into enhancing breeding programs for the improvement of quality traits and provide reference resource for further research on the natural properties of safflower.

In order to clarify the relationship among nutritional quality of highland barley flour, processing quality and edible quality of noodles, the flour of 21 highland barley varieties in Qinghai Province was used as raw the materials. The key indexes for evaluating the suitability of highland barley noodle processing were screened out through correlation analysis and cluster analysis to construct an evaluation system for the suitability of highland barley noodle processing. The results showed that the contents of starch, fat, the fiber and the protein of highland barley flour were 69.95%~83.36%, 0.87%~2.38%, 1.13%~3.69%, and 6.88%~11.64%, respectively. Beiqing No. 8 (gate) had the highest peak viscosity (2 378.50 mPa·s), and Kunlun No. 15 (Dulan) had the highest regeneration value (756.00 mPa·s). Kunlun No. 16 (Guinan) had the best water holding capacity (4.32 g/g), and Chai Qing No. 1 (Dulan) had the highest oil holding capacity (0.94 g/g). Kunlun No. 14 (Guide) had the largest solubility (27.46%), and Kunlun No. 15 (Dulan) had the largest expansion (9.15%). Kunlun No. 18 (gate) had the greatest transparency (28.40%), and freeze-thaw stability was the largest (77.16%). The nutritional quality and processing characteristics of highland barley noodles were significantly related to the cooking quality and texture characteristics of noodles, flour water content, total starch content, resistant starch content, flour L* value and peak viscosity were the key indicators to evaluate the suitability of highland barley noodle processing. Through the construction of processing suitability evaluation system, the evaluation level of highland barley noodle processing suitability was determined. Beiqing No. 9 (Xining), Kunlun No. 14 (Xining), Kunlun No. 17 (Menyuan), Chai Qing No. 1 (Guinan) were screened out, while Kunlun No. 14 (Guinan), Kunlun No. 15 (Guinan) and other 6 highland barley flours were suitable for processing into highland barley noodles. The results of this study could provide a theoretical basis for the selection of raw materials for processing highland barley noodles.

In China, the present implemented industrial wastewater discharge standards cannot objectively and correctly evaluate wastewater safety. The characteristics and application of the whole effluent toxicity evaluation methods at home and abroad were systematically summarized. The characteristics and application of whole effluent toxicity (WET), direct toxicity assessment (DTA), and whole effluent assessment (WEA) were emphatically discussed. The deficiencies of the comprehensive toxicity index system and evaluation methods of wastewater in China were analyzed. Reasonable suggestions on the establishment of the comprehensive toxicity methodology were proposed from aspects of species selection, experimental process and evaluation method. Finally, the actual situations of the characteristics of wastewater pollutants, discharge mode and environmental quality of receiving water should be considered as establishing comprehensive toxicity indices and evaluation methodology in line with Chinese national conditions.

Lipid droplets (LDs) are dynamic organelles that store neutral lipids and are closely linked to obesity. Previous studies have suggested that Lycium barbarum polysaccharide (LBP) supplements can ameliorate obesity, but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, we hypothesize that LBP alleviates LD accumulation in adipose tissue (AT) by inhibiting fat-specific protein 27 (Fsp27) through an activating transcription factor-6 (ATF6)/small-molecule sirtuin 1 (SIRT1)-dependent mechanism. LD accumulation in AT is induced in high-fat diet (HFD)-fed mice, and differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes (PAs) is induced. The ability of LBP to alleviate LD accumulation and the possible underlying mechanism are then investigated both in vivo and in vitro. The influences of LBP on the expressions of LD-associated genes ( ATF6 and Fsp27) are also detected. The results show that HFD and PA differentiation markedly increase LD accumulation in ATs and adipocytes, respectively, and these effects are markedly suppressed by LBP supplementation. Furthermore, LBP significantly activates SIRT1 and decreases ATF6 and Fsp27 expressions. Interestingly, the inhibitory effects of LBP are either abolished or exacerbated when ATF6 is overexpressed or silenced, respectively. Furthermore, SIRT1 level is transcriptionally regulated by LBP through opposite actions mediated by ATF6. Collectively, our findings suggest that LBP supplementation alleviates obesity by ameliorating LD accumulation, which might be partially mediated by an ATF6/SIRT1-dependent mechanism.

This paper presents an innovative fusion model called “CALSE-LSTM,” which integrates Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Long Short-Term Memory Networks (LSTMs), self-attention mechanisms, and squeeze-and-excitation attention mechanisms to optimize the estimation accuracy of the State of Charge (SoC). The model incorporates battery historical data as input and employs a dual-attention mechanism based on CNN-LSTM to extract diverse features from the input data, thereby enhancing the model's ability to learn hidden information. To further improve model performance, we fine-tune the model parameters using the Pelican algorithm. Experiments conducted under Urban Dynamometer Driving Schedule (UDDS) conditions show that the CALSE-LSTM model achieves a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of only 1.73 % in lithium battery SoC estimation, significantly better than GRU, LSTM, and CNN-LSTM models, reducing errors by 31.9 %, 31.3 %, and 15 %, respectively. Ablation experiments further confirm the effectiveness of the dual-attention mechanism and its potential to improve SoC estimation performance. Additionally, we validate the learning efficiency of CALSE-LSTM by comparing model training time with the number of iterations. Finally, in the comparative experiment with the Kalman filtering method, the model in this paper significantly improved its performance by incorporating power consumption as an additional feature input. This further verifies the accuracy of CALSE-LSTM in estimating the State of Charge (SoC) of lithium batteries.

Abstract Objectives To develop a multiparameter magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based radiomics approach that can accurately predict the tumor cell proliferation status of serous ovarian carcinoma (SOC). Materials and methods A total of 134 patients with SOC who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were retrospectively screened from institution A, spanning from January 2016 to March 2022. Additionally, an external validation set comprising 42 SOC patients from institution B was also included. The region of interest was determined by drawing each ovarian mass boundaries manually slice-by-slice on T2-weighted imaging fat-suppressed fast spin-echo (T2FSE) and T1 with contrast enhancement (T1CE) images using ITK-SNAP software. The handcrafted radiomic features were extracted, and then were selected using variance threshold algorithm, SelectKBest algorithm, and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator. The optimal radiomic scores and the clinical/radiological independent predictors were integrated as a combined model. Results Compared with the area under the curve (AUC) values of each radiomic signature of T2FSE and T1CE, respectively, the AUC value of the radiomic signature (T1CE-T2FSE) was the highest in the training set (0.999 vs. 0.965 and 0.860). The homogeneous solid component of the ovarian mass was considered the only independent predictor of tumor cell proliferation status among the clinical/radiological variables. The AUC of the radiomic–radiological model was 0.999. Conclusions The radiomic–radiological model combining radiomic scores and the homogeneous solid component of the ovarian mass can accurately predict tumor cell proliferation status of SOC which has high repeatability and may enable more targeted and effective treatment strategies. ObjectiveTo analyze the contamination of aquatic products with pathogens in Yunnan Province and provide a basis for the prevention and control of foodborne diseases.MethodsFrom 2014 to 2021， aquatic products obtained from 16 cities in Yunnan Province were randomly used for pathogen detection， and statistical methods were used to analyze the differences in product type， regional and seasonal distribution， and contamination source between varied aquatic products.ResultsA total of 3 540 samples were collected in the four categories of aquatic food， fresh aquatic animals， cold aquatic animals， frozen surimi products， and ready-to-eat products. Nine pathogenic microorganisms and one parasite were detected， with a total detection rate of 10.8%. Vibrio parahaemolyticus （10.3%）， Listeria monocytogenes （4.2%）， and Salmonella （3.3%） were the most common pathogenic microorganisms. Angiostrongylus cantonensis was commonly present in intermediate hosts （9.0%）， whereas the detection rate of other pathogens was low. Objective To investigate the value of a radiomic model of multiparametric MRI different regions of interest (ROI) in assessment of the invasion of prostate cancer (PCa), and explore the evaluation value of an integrated model based on above radiomic model combined with radiomics, PI-RADS 2.1 score, and clinical variables. Methods A total of 245 patients with pathologically-confirmed PCa admitted to 2 medical centers in our hospital from May 2018 to September 2022 were collected in this retrospective study. Among them, 176 cases were collected in Yuzhong Medical Center, including 77 cases in the low invasive group [Gleason score ≤7 (3+4)] and 99 cases in the high invasive group [Gleason score ≥7 (4+3)]; 69 cases were collected in Jiangnan Medical Center, including 33 cases in the low invasive group and 36 cases in the high invasive group. All patients underwent multiparametric MRI, and then 2 types of ROI, the tumor region (TR) and the prostate gland (PG), were segmented on the multiparametric MRI images. Clinical variables related with PCa invasion were assessed, and PI-RADS 2.1 score was recorded for each patient. Logistic regression algorithm was employed as a machine learning method to develop following invasive stratification models for PCa: radiomics models (ModelTR, ModelPG and ModelPG+TR), Radiomics-Clinical model, Radiomics-PIRADS model, PIRADS-Clinical model and Radiomics-PIRADS-Clinical combined model. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, area under ROC curve (AUC) and decision curve analysis (DCA) were applied to compare the diagnostic efficacy and clinical benefit of each model. A nomogram was constructed by combining Radiomics score (Radscore), PI-RADS 2.1 score and independent clinical variables, and its performance was evaluated by calibration, differentiation and clinical application. Results In the above 3 radiomics models, the AUC value was 0.919 for ModelPG+TR, which was higher than that of ModelTR (0.874) and of ModelPG (0.887). And the AUC value of the Radiomics-PIRADS-Clinical combined model was 0.954, superior to that of the radiomics model (0.919), Radiomics-PIRADS model (0.921), Radiomics-Clinical model (0.919), and PIRADS-Clinical model (0.769) respectively, The nomogram model showed good performance (AUC=0.919) and calibration efficacy in risk stratification. DSA revealed that both the ModelPG+TR model and Radiomics-PIRADS-Clinical combined models achieved a higher net clinical benefit. Conclusion Our radiomic model of combining features of the prostate and tumor regions can more accurately assess the invasion of PCa, and our integrated model of combining radiomics, PI-RADS 2.1 score and clinical variables can further improve the assessment.

BackgroundIt is vital to accurately and promptly distinguish unstable from stable intracranial aneurysms (IAs) to facilitate treatment optimization and avoid unnecessary treatment. The aim of this study is to develop a simple and effective predictive model for the clinical evaluation of the stability of IAs.MethodsIn total, 1,053 patients with 1,239 IAs were randomly divided the dataset into training (70%) and internal validation (30%) datasets. One hundred and ninety seven patients with 229 IAs from another hospital were evaluated as an external validation dataset. The prediction models were developed using machine learning based on clinical information, manual parameters, and radiomic features. In addition, a simple model for predicting the stability of IAs was developed, and a nomogram was drawn for clinical use.ResultsFourteen machine learning models exhibited excellent classification performance. Logistic regression Model E (clinical information, manual parameters, and radiomic shape features) had the highest AUC of 0.963 (95% CI 0.943–0.980). Compared to manual parameters, radiomic features did not significantly improve the identification of unstable IAs. In the external validation dataset, the simplified model demonstrated excellent performance (AUC = 0.950) using only five manual parameters.ConclusionMachine learning models have excellent potential in the classification of unstable IAs. The manual parameters from CTA images are sufficient for developing a simple and effective model for identifying unstable IAs.

ObjectiveA dichroine poisoning outbreak caused by the accidental ingestion of fresh Dichroa yunnanensis was investigated and resolved， which can provide scientific support for the clinical treatment and further prevention of dichroine poisoning.MethodsA systemic epidemiological investigation， hygiene investigation， laboratory tests， morphology analysis， and molecular identification of the plant were conducted soon after the incident， and poison treatment consisted of evaluating clinical symptoms， giving therapeutic drugs， and achieving a patient cure.ResultsBased on the botanical and molecular biological identification results of Dichroa yunnanensis， the sample involved in the poisoning incident was confirmed to be Dichroa yunnanensis， Yunnan Province. The toxic substance responsible for the poisoning was an alkali from Dichroa yunnanensi， with a 100% effect rate among individuals who consumed it. Clinical manifestations included mainly nausea， vomiting， diarrhea， tenesmus， and other gastrointestinal symptoms， which abated within 24 h of fluid rehydration， stomach protection， potassium supplementation， and broad-spectrum detoxification treatment， without additional symptoms.ConclusionThis incident of dichroine poisoning was caused by the accidental consumption of fresh Dichroa yunnanensis. As no D. yunnanensis poisoning case has been reported previously in China， this report has important reference value for the prevention and clinical treatment of similar poisoning events in the future.

Objective To analyze the effect of training of full-time educator for the management of chronic respiratory diseases, and to investigate the standardized training methods and improvement strategies for the following training of full-time educator for the management of chronic respiratory diseases. Methods Two rounds of expert consultation were conducted to determine the outline, model and contents of training. The training program consisted of two parts: one-week theoretical study and 6-month clinical practice. All the nurses involved in the training had taken the exams about theoretical knowledge and practice skills of management of chronic respiratory diseases. A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate nurses’ satisfaction with training program. Results The outcome of investigation on knowledge about chronic respiratory diseases showed that an increased score was achieved after training(74. 60±6. 70 vs. 59. 83±12. 50, P＜0. 01 ). The Pass rate of theoretical examination was 98. 75%(79/80). The overall satisfaction rate was 98. 75%(79/80). Conclusion The well-designed training program is effective to improve the quality of training for the full-time educator specialized in the management of chronic respiratory diseases. Abstract Hepatic stellate cell is one of the major nonparenchymal cell types in liver. It has been proved the hepatic stellate cells are activated upon liver injury and produce excessive extracellular matrix to induce liver fibrosis. Single-cell RNA sequencing has been introduced to identify the subpopulations and function of hepatic stellate cells for its remarkable resolution of representation of single-cell transcriptome. According to the re-analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing data and pseudotime trajectory inference, we have found the C-type lectins including Colec10 and Colec11 are not produced by hepatocytes but predominantly produced by hepatic stellate cells, especially quiescent ones in the mice livers. In addition, the expression of Colec10 is decreased in the fibrotic livers of CCl4-challenged mice. COLEC10 is also mainly expressed in the hepatic stellate cells of human livers and the expression of COLEC10 is decreased with the progression of liver fibrosis. The bulk RNA sequencing data of the lentivirus transfected LX-2 cells indicates the function of COLEC10 is associated with inflammation, angiogenesis and extracellular matrix alteration. Surprisingly, the in vitro overexpression of COLEC10 in LX-2 cells promotes the mRNA expression of extracellular matrix components including COL1A1, COL1A2 and COL3A1 and the extracellular matrix degradation enzyme MMP2. To further investigate the role of COLEC10 in the pathogenesis of liver fibrosis, the serum concentration of COLEC10 in patients with chronic liver disease and healthy donors is measured. The serum concentration of COLEC10 is elevated in the patients with chronic liver disease compared to the healthy donors and positively correlated with serum concentration of the D-dimer but not the most of liver function markers. Altogether, we conclude that the C-type lectin COLEC10 is predominantly produced by the hepatic stellate cells and involved in the pathogenesis of liver fibrosis.

AIM. To study the clinical effect of body composition-based lifestyle intervention in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). MATERIAL AND METHODS. In the period of November, 2020 – July, 2021, 91 patients diagnosed with PCOS in the First People's Hospital of Urumqi were prospectively selected and divided into a control group (46 cases) and an experimental group (45 cases) according to random number method. The patients in the control group were treated with Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol tablets (II), while the patients in the experimental group were treated with Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol tablets (II) and lifestyle adjustment based on body composition. The changes of the indices before and after 3 months of treatment were compared between the two groups. RESULTS. The indices of PCOS patients in the two groups after treatment (except 1 basal metabolic rate and muscle weight, 2. FSH and 3. HDL) were decreased, and the decrease in the experimental group was more significant (P < 0.05). Patients in the experimental group had significantly increased spontaneous ovulation and pregnancy rate / Conducive to ovulation and pregnancy. CONCLUSION. In PCOS patients, the combination of Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol tablets (II) and lifestyle intervention based on human body components can improve reproductive hormone, glucose metabolism and insulin resistance more effectively, which is beneficial to spontaneous ovulation and pregnancy, and reduce the weight of patients.

Background Resolvin D2 (RvD2) has been reported to protect against the development of atherosclerosis in animal models. The objective of this study was to examine the prospective association between plasma RvD2 and the risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) at the population level. Methods and Results A cohort of 2633 community‐dwelling individuals aged 35–60 years was followed for 8 years in this study. Adjusted hazard ratios and 95% CIs for ASCVD outcomes according to baseline RvD2 levels were calculated using Cox proportional hazards models. Mediation analysis was used to test the indirect effect of serum cholesterol indicators on the association between RvD2 and ASCVD probability. In total, 284 new cases of ASCVD were identified during follow‐up. An inverted U‐shaped association between natural log (ln)‐transformed RvD2 and incident ASCVD was determined, and the threshold value for lnRvD2 was 3.87. Below the threshold, each unit increase in lnRvD2 was associated with a 2.05‐fold increased risk of ASCVD (95% CI, 1.13–3.74; P=0.019). Aiming at the problem of complex internal structure and difficult monitoring of the distribution room, a new monitoring method for the distribution room based on a digital twin is studied. Firstly, a 3D model design method for the distribution room is proposed by combining visualization technology and 3D Max software to complete the modeling. The 3D laser technology is used to scan the entity to get the texture photos of the 3D laser points and the raw data, then a complete model is obtained by modeling the details, and finally, the texture photos are mapped with the model to get the final model. To enhance the model’s accuracy, the optimal minimum spanning tree model optimization method is proposed, and the power distribution room’s three-dimensional model design is now finished. On the basis of the feature extraction of the sensor data of the distribution room, the digital twin technology is used to realize the matching of the information model architecture from the real entity of the distribution room to the virtual model, digital conversion, correlation of the operating data features and real-time monitoring, and then the monitoring method of the distribution room based on the digital twin is obtained. The experimental analysis yields a 3D Max modeling time of 9.98s and a fineness of 90%, which is more suitable for the construction of complex 3D models of distribution rooms than the other two methods. The accuracy of digital twin wireless communication is kept at 98% or above, and the system operation is disturbed to a small extent. It shows that digital twin technology is suitable for monitoring the complex structure inside the distribution room.

With the development of AI technology, the development of the ceramic industry has ushered in a good opportunity. This paper discusses the application of AI technology in the field of ceramics on the basis of deep convolutional generative adversarial network, using Adam optimizer to further improve the performance of the model, using the hidden space to add noise to each layer of the network, and proposing a digital ceramic texture image generation model based on DCGAN. Meanwhile, the K-Means algorithm and feature fusion mechanism with BWP as the evaluation index are introduced to improve the Faster R-CNN algorithm and construct the ceramic defect detection model. The scores of each subjective evaluation index of image generation quality are greater than 4, which are located in the interval of higher evaluation. The scores of IS, BRISQUE, and NIQE are 3.39, 22.57, and 4.43, and the quality of ceramic texture image generation of this paper’s model is better than that of other algorithms. The ceramic defect detection model’s detection accuracy for all five ceramic defects is higher than 92.68%, with an 8.54% improvement over the original algorithm’s defect detection performance. The research in this paper has important theoretical and practical significance for ceramic product design, quality control, and troubleshooting of production equipment.

This study explores the dynamics of inheritance and innovation within opera, focusing specifically on Wuhua Caicha Opera, a key cultural asset in Lotus County. Utilizing a mixed-method approach that includes questionnaire surveys and field interviews, this paper systematically examines the current status of Wuhua Caicha Opera's transmission. We collected and analyzed data using a robust statistical model in SPSS, which integrates principal component analysis and stepwise regression techniques. The findings reveal that the self-factors and governmental influences on the preservation and development of the Wuhua tea-picking opera troupe in Lotus County have statistically significant impacts, with Sig. Values of 0.012 and 0.001, respectively. This indicates a notable effect of both intrinsic and extrinsic factors on the opera's transmission. However, less than half of the participants affirmed the current methods of heritage transmission, protection of cultural bearers, and innovation in the repertoire. The average scores for governmental influence on recognition were all above 3.6, suggesting a strong governmental role. The insights from this study provide empirical evidence that can guide policy formulations and support efforts to foster the sustainable evolution and transmission of Wuhua Caicha Opera.

With the Internet era’s development, information technology’s role in education has become more prominent. In this paper, we firstly design the quality index of college network ideological and political education from the two broad dimensions of the goal (network ideological and political education work) and goal achievement (network ideological and political education effectiveness) of the quality of network ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the new era. Then, combining XGBoost algorithm and TPE hyperparameter optimization method, XGBoost is used as a classification model, and its iterative optimization is carried out by TPE hyperparameter optimization method, to establish the prediction model of the quality of ideological and political education based on XGBoost-TPE. Then, the online ideological and political education courses of university X are taken as the research object, and data are collected and calculated to study the prediction of the effectiveness of each index on the Civic and Political Education. Finally, the predicted and actual scores of the two ideology and politics courses are compared to explore the influence of teachers’ teaching quality factors on the quality of ideology and politics education. The analysis shows that the quality of course parenting, the quality of research parenting, and the home-school-society linkage parenting mechanism have the most significant influence on the predicted direct, indirect, and spillover effectiveness of ideological education, respectively, which are more than 60%. Teacher 1 and Teacher 2 contributed 2.38 and -1.13 to the achievement of Course D, and Teacher 3 and Teacher 4 contributed 2.47 and -2.53 to the accomplishment of Course E, respectively.

In this study, the expressive ability and accuracy of the constraint rules for grid topological relationships are effectively improved by introducing the knowledge graph technology. The TransE model is used for training, focusing on the strategies to eliminate single-node voltage overruns in single-line and multi-line open scenarios, and the characteristic relationship between co-matching coefficients and structural robustness is deeply analyzed, aiming to improve the grid’’s interference resistance by optimizing the structural robustness. The results show that the single-line high-quality scheme has six effective solutions, including lines 28-29, 26-29, 26-28, 21-22, and 2-3. In the multi-line high quality scenario, there are 11 effective solutions, such as lines 28-29, 21-22, etc. Further analysis shows that the robustness of the grid structure is better and the spreading of the outage area is relatively slow in the event of a fault when the co-matching coefficients r are −0.22374 and −0.14575, respectively. In particular, when r = −0.22374, the grid’’s robustness remains above 0.3 even when the number of nodes exceeds 30. The comprehensive optimization framework proposed in this study is expected to provide more reliable and efficient topological relationship constraint rules in power systems, which will provide strong support for the operation and management of power grids, and significantly improve the stability and security of power systems.

Based on the basic platform supporting the overall e-government framework, this paper builds an application system for the intelligent management of government departmental business and three major databases of basic, departmental and thematic categories. Secondly, under the collaborative information governance model of blockchain, the data are jointly managed by all the regional governments in the distributed network, plus the application of smart contracts makes each governance link respond intelligently. Finally, an empirical study is conducted on employees of three types of government departments to analyze the regularity of the influencing factors of smart shared services in digital government. The results show that the regression coefficient of the strategic policy of government agencies on the degree of realization of information sharing is 0.829. The regression coefficient of the platform organization of government agencies on the degree of realization is 0.705. To promote the construction of digital government in China, this paper utilizes blockchain technology in digital government governance.

This paper firstly researches the reform and innovation of higher vocational dance choreography teaching under the background of new media and puts forward the reform and innovation suggestions of higher vocational dance choreography teaching according to the structure and thinking steps of higher vocational dance choreography teaching. Then, research on dance choreography teaching based on virtual environment technology, using quaternion interpolation to define the distance between dance action frames in dance choreography teaching video, selecting public frames of dance choreography teaching video based on the definition of dance action, articulating the keyframes of dance action according to splicing the dance action sequences and analyzing the research on innovation of higher vocational dance choreography teaching. The results showed that in posture, the P-value of students’ shoulder, torso, sitting, standing, walking, and overall posture were less than 0.01, with highly significant differences. In terms of students’ aesthetics, the P value of students’ aesthetic sensibility was 0.026, P0.05, and aesthetic creativity P=0.063>0.05, which shows that students in the control class got a significant improvement in aesthetic sensibility. This study plays a certain role in inspiring and leading generalization for the teaching of dance choreography.

ABSTRACT: The deposition of high levels of fat in broiler breeder hens can have a profound impact on follicular development and laying performance. This study was formulated with the goal of comparing egg production and follicular development characteristics at different laying stages in the Northeast Agricultural University broiler lines divergently selected for abdominal fat content (NEAUHLF). The egg production was analyzed using the birds from the 19th to 24th generations of NEAUHLF; the follicular development characteristics were analyzed by hematoxylin-eosin staining and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction using the birds from the 24th generation of NEAUHLF. The results showed that the age at first egg of lean hens was significantly earlier than that of fat hens in this study. While no significant differences in total egg output from the first egg to 50 wk of age were noted when comparing these 2 chicken lines, lean hens laid more eggs from the first egg to 35 wk of age relative to fat hens, whereas fat hens laid more eggs from wk 36 to 42 and 43 to 50 relative to their lean counterparts. No differences in ovarian morphology and small yellow follicle (SYF) histological characteristics were noted when comparing these 2 chicken lines at 27 wk of age. At 35 and 52 wk of age, however, lean hens exhibited significantly lower ovarian weight, ovarian proportion values, numbers of hierarchical follicles, hierarchical follicle weight, and SYF granulosa layer thickness as compared to fat hens, together with a significant increase in the number of prehierarchical follicles relative to those in fat hens. Gene expression analyses suggested that follicle selection was impaired in the fat hens in the early laying stage, whereas both follicle selection and maturation were impaired in the lean hens in the middle and late laying stages. Overall, these data highlight that fat deposition in broiler hens can have a range of effects on follicular development and egg production that are laying stage-dependent.

Objective To investigate the correlation of gut microbiota with body composition of fat and muscle in middle-aged and elderly overweight/obese women. Methods A total of 75 middle-aged and elderly overweight/obese women were subjected from communities in Suzhou City from September 2019 to October 2020. Their basic information were collected, and dietary survey was completed. Physical activity scale for the elderly (PASE) was used to assess the intensity of physical activity. Body composition data was measured by bioelectrical impedance measurement. Fecal samples were collected from some volunteers from them and 16S rRNA gene sequencing was conducted to screen the bacterial community. Statistical software was used to establish multiple linear regression analysis models to analyze the correlation between gut microbiota and the relevant indexes of human fat and muscle, adjusted for age, height, physical activity, protein intake, fat intake and carbohydrate intake as covariates. Results There were 24 operational taxonomic units (OTU) screened out with multiple linear regression models. The adjusted results showed EtOH8 family and some genera of the family, Epulopiscium were positively correlated with body fat mass (FAT), while Oscillospira, Lactococcus, Scardovia and some genera of Trichospira were negatively correlated with fat mass ratio (FMR). In terms of muscle, Lachnobacterium was negatively correlated with soft lean mass (SLM), while the other 14 flora, including Thermaceae, Meiothermus and Kocuria etc. were positively correlated with SLM. Conclusion Gut microbiota is significantly correlated with body fat and muscle related indicators in middle-aged and elderly overweight/obese women. Some specific flora may have positive effects on fat or muscle.

Abstract Objectives The objective of this study is to develop a deep learning (DL) model for fast and accurate mandibular canal (MC) segmentation on cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). Methods A total of 220 CBCT scans from dentate subjects needing oral surgery were used in this study. The segmentation ground truth is annotated and reviewed by two senior dentists. All patients were randomly splitted into a training dataset (n = 132), a validation dataset (n = 44) and a test dataset (n = 44). We proposed a two-stage 3D-UNet based segmentation framework for automated MC segmentation on CBCT. The Dice Similarity Coefficient (DSC) and 95% Hausdorff Distance (95% HD) were used as the evaluation metrics for the segmentation model. Results The two-stage 3D-UNet model successfully segmented the MC on CBCT images. In the test dataset, the mean DSC was 0.875 ± 0.045 and the mean 95% HD was 0.442 ± 0.379. Conclusions This automatic DL method might aid in the detection of MC and assist dental practitioners to set up treatment plans for oral surgery evolved MC.

Abstract Background Patients who undergo gastrointestinal endoscopy often require propofol-based sedation combined with analgesics. At present, the efficacy and safety of esketamine as an adjunct to propofol for sedation during endoscopic procedures in patients remains controversial. Moreover, there is no universal agreement regarding the appropriate dose of esketamine supplementation. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of esketamine as an adjunct to propofol for sedation during endoscopic procedures in patients. Methods Seven electronic databases and three clinical trial registry platforms were searched and the deadline was February 2023. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating the efficacy of esketamine for sedation were included by two reviewers. Data from the eligible studies were combined to calculate the pooled risk ratio or standardized mean difference. Results Eighteen studies with 1962 esketamine participants were included in the analysis. As an adjunct to propofol, the administration of esketamine reduced the recovery time compared to normal saline (NS). However, there was no significant difference between the opioids group and ketamine group. For propofol dosage, the administration of esketamine required a lower propofol dosage compared to the NS group and opioids group].For complications, the esketamine group had fewer complications compared to the NS group and opioid group in patients, but there were no significant differences between the esketamine group and ketamine group. Notably, the coadministration of esketamine was associated with a higher risk of visual disturbance compared to the NS group. In addition, we used subgroup analysis to investigate whether 0.2–0.5 mg/kg esketamine was effective and tolerable for patients. Conclusion Esketamine as an adjunct to propofol, is an appropriate effective alternative for sedation in participants undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy. However, considering the possibility of its psychotomimetic effects, esketamine should be used with caution.

Objective To investigate the mental health status of eight-year medical doctor program students in Peking Union Medical College and try to put forward feasible psychological support countermeasures. Methods Undergraduates of eight-year program from grades 3 to 8 in Peking Union Medical College were investigated by WeChat and questionnaires(www.wjx.cn). The differences among groups were analyzed by gender and grade. The practice group received strengthened psychological support intervention and compared with the theoretical study group. Results Totally 248 qualified questionnaires were collected and 82(33.1%) and 16(6.5%) students were rated “moderate” and “poor” in psychological self-assessment. The Life Satisfaction with Life Scores (SWLS) from 6th and 7th grade students was significantly lower than that from 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade. For other scales including depression, anxiety, and difficulties in emotional regulation scale, a tendency showed that these undergraduates from two grades had higher scores but the result was not statistically significant. Conclusions The undergraduates of eight-year doctor program still have some mental health problems especially during internship period when facing to greater pressure. Implementation of intervention may support their emotional regulation.

Abstract Background To develop and assess the performance of machine learning (ML) models based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) radiomics analysis for knee osteoarthritis (KOA) diagnosis. Methods This retrospective study analysed 148 consecutive patients (72 with KOA and 76 without) with available MRI image data, where radiomics features in cartilage portions were extracted and then filtered. Intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) was calculated to quantify the reproducibility of features, and a threshold of 0.8 was set. The training and validation cohorts consisted of 117 and 31 cases, respectively. Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression method was employed for feature selection. The ML classifiers were logistic regression (LR), K-nearest neighbour (KNN) and support vector machine (SVM). In each algorithm, ten models derived from all available planes of three joint compartments and their various combinations were, respectively, constructed for comparative analysis. The performance of classifiers was mainly evaluated and compared by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis. Results All models achieved satisfying performances, especially the Final model, where accuracy and area under ROC curve (AUC) of LR classifier were 0.968, 0.983 (0.957–1.000, 95% CI) in the validation cohort, and 0.940, 0.984 (0.969–0.995, 95% CI) in the training cohort, respectively. Conclusion The MRI radiomics analysis represented promising performance in noninvasive and preoperative KOA diagnosis, especially when considering all available planes of all three compartments of knee joints.

Objective: A simultaneous determination method was established for detecting 19 kinds of quinolones and sulfonamides in aquatic products simultaneously, by using QuEChERS combined with UPLC-MS/MS. Methods: Samples were extracted with 1.0% formic acid acetonitrile solution, ultrasonic for 1 min, and purified by QuEChERS multi-function needle filter. The sample purification and filtering were performed simultaneously. The Mass spectrometry was conducted by using positive (ESI+) electrospray ionization and multi-reactions monitoring (MRM) models, with external standard method. Results: The detection limit of 19 kinds of sulfonamides and quinolones is from 0.5 to 1.0 μg/kg. Compared with the national standard method, the detection sensitivity is improved. The added recoveries were from 81.0% to 113.0%, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) were from 0.2% to 11.7%. Conclusion: This method assisted ultrasonic extraction and QuEChERS, enhanced the efficiency of measuring quinolones and sulfonamides in aquatic products. It is a simple, rapid, sensitivity, accurate method, which provides an efficient technical means for daily monitoring of sulfonamides and quinolones in large quantities of aquatic product samples.

Objective: Investigate young people's taste preference for white bud kiran tea and design tea drinks accordingly. Methods: Design a combination of electroencephalogram （EEG）, electrodermal activity （EDA）, heart rate variability （HRV） multivariate statistical analysis and sensory evaluation to allow 24 subjects （12 of each gender） to evaluate the taste preference of seven batches of white bud kiran tea of different grams and brewing lengths. Results: the mean values of power spectral density, HRV and EDA of EEG can predict the taste preference of the subjects more accurately, and the mean values are negatively correlated with the liking level. A two-way analysis of variance shows that HRV and EDA are not affected by gender differences between subjects and the subject tea sample. Conclusion: Most of the subjects preferred the taste of 10 grams of white bud kiran tea brewed for 10 seconds.

Abstract To provide a basis for further optimization of the polio sequential immunization schedule, this study evaluated the effectiveness of booster immunization with one dose of bivalent oral poliovirus vaccine (bOPV) at 48 months of age after different primary polio immunization schedules. At 48 months of age, one dose of bOPV was administered, and their poliovirus types 1–3 (PV1, PV2, and PV3, respectively)-specific neutralizing antibody levels were determined. Participants found to be negative for any type of PV-specific neutralizing antibody at 24, 36, or 48 months of age were re-vaccinated with inactivated polio vaccine (IPV). The 439 subjects who received a bOPV booster immunization at the age of 48 months had lower PV2-specific antibody levels compared with those who received IPV. One dose of IPV during basic polio immunization induced the lowest PV2-specific antibody levels. On the basis of our findings, to ensure that no less than 70% of the vaccinated have protection efficiency, we recommend the following: if basic immunization was conducted with 1IPV + 2bOPV (especially Sabin strain-based IPV), a booster immunization with IPV is recommended at 36 months of age, whereas if basic immunization was conducted with 2IPV + 1bOPV, a booster immunization with IPV is recommended at 48 months of age. A sequential immunization schedule of 2IPV + 1bOPV + 1IPV can not only maintain high levels of antibody against PV1 and PV3 but also increases immunity to PV2 and induces early intestinal mucosal immunity, with relatively good safety. Thus, this may be the best sequential immunization schedule for polio in countries or regions at high risk for polio.

The centralized integration of large-scale wind farms into power grids impairs the frequency regulation capability. The control strategy of wind turbines participating in the system frequency response has attracted wide attention. So far there is few research concerning the effect of frequency response control on the shaft system torsional vibration of the wind turbine drive chain. Thus the safety of wind turbines during the frequency response is yet to be secured. To this end， this paper proposes a strategy to suppress the torsional vibration of the shaft system during the frequency response. A state observer is used to estimate the angular velocity of the drive chain torsion， and the dynamic damping control during the frequency response is achieved using additional torque. The effectiveness of the strategy is verified by comparing it with the existing undamped control strategy through simulation analysis and prototype measurement.

Objective To analyze the effects of fat mass and obesity-associated (FTO) gene, IL-6, and HSP-60 gene polymorphism on the incidence rate and prognosis of breast cancer (BCa) for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Results A total of 1551 patients with BCa were included in the experimental group and 1605 women of the same age who participated in physical examination were included in the control group. The clinical data of the 3156 participants were collected through the baseline data questionnaire, and the genotypes of FTO, IL-6, and HSP-60 single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) were determined through blood sample detection. The predictive value of the three SNPs for the incidence risk of BCa for T2DM patients was evaluated. The OS of 1168 patients with BCa was obtained through follow-up, and the effects of the three SNPs and T2DM on OS of BCa patients were evaluated. Results The three loci were FTO rs3751812, IL-6 rs1800796, and HSP-60 rs2605039. The BCa incidence rate for T2DM women with wild homozygous SNP genotype was significantly higher than that for non-T2DM women (FTO: χ2=3.530, P=0.013; IL-6: χ2=6.288, P=0.029; HSP-60: χ2=4.926, P=0.005). The three wild homozygous genotypes were independent risk factors that influenced the incidence rate of BCa (all P < 0.05). Patients with HSP-60 rs2605039 (GT+TT) genotype had better OS (P=0.031). Conclusion FTO, IL-6, and HSP-60 gene polymorphisms have certain value in BCa prediction for T2DM patients. Patients with BCa and HSP-60 rs2605039 GT+TT genotype have high OS.

The rapid determination of steroidal hormones and their contents in royal jelly by molecular imprinting and high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS) was reviewed. The research progress of liquid-liquid extraction, solid phase extraction, QuECHERS and other pretreatment methods, as well as HPLC-MS, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), radioimmunoassay and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay were introduced. The advantages and disadvantages of various pretreatment methods and analytical methods were analyzed and compared. Finally, the feasibility of using molecular imprinting technology and HPLC-MS to detect steroid hormones in royal jelly was prospected.

Lipotoxicity has been shown to induce the loss of functional β-cell mass and lead to type 2 diabetes, but the mechanism remains unknown. In this study, we aim to explore the role of secretagogin (SCGN) in lipotoxicity-induced β-cell injury. Our results indicate that ox-LDL treatment leads to autophagic cell death, as evidenced by decreased cell viability, aggravated cell apoptosis, and the accumulation of the p62 protein in MIN6 cells. LysoTracker Red staining, TEM and mRFP-GFP-LC3 assays demonstrate that autophagic flux is blocked in ox-LDL-treated MIN6 cells. Intriguingly, SCGN is significantly decreased in MIN6 cells under lipotoxic conditions. Additionally, siRNA-guided SCGN knockdown blocks autophagic flux triggered by rapamycin, while SCGN restoration alleviates autophagic flux retardation and mitigates cell apoptosis. The physical interaction between SCGN and SNAP29 is validated by bioinformatics analysis, coimmunoprecipitation assay and SCGN knockdown test. Downregulation of SCGN expression reduces the interaction of these two proteins. Taken together, our results indicate that ox-LDL treatment induces apoptotic β-cell death by blocking autophagic flux dependent on SCGN downregulation. SCGN administration prevents lipotoxic β-cell injury and may be a potential therapeutic strategy to promote β-cell expansion in type 2 diabetes.

Objective To explore the application effect of behavioral intervention using the transtheoretical model (TTM) of behavioral change on improving elderly patients’ adherence of fall prevention. Methods A convenience sampling of 231 hospitalized elderly patients from a tertiary class-one general hospital in Beijing. Cases (n=115) and controls (n=116) were randomized using random number table method. Controls were applied with common fall prevention practices, while the cases were applied with TTM method in addition to the common practices applied to the controls. Self-efficacy scores, numbers of patients with TTM intervention at each stage, fall prevention adherence scores, and times of falling were compared between cases and controls before intervention, at the end of 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months, respectively. Results Comparing to the control group, the case group had higher fall prevention self-efficacy scores (t=2. 348, P=0. 023; t=3. 592, P=0. 002; 7. 036; t=0. 002, P＜0. 001), better trend of behavioral change in every stage (Z=6. 032, P=0. 007; Z=9. 261, P＜0. 001; Z=16. 137, P＜0. 001), higher fall prevention adherence scores (t=4. 052, P=0. 001; t=6. 971, P＜0. 001; t=8. 105, P＜0. 001), at the end of 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months of intervention, respectively. And the case group had less times of falling (χ2=4. 930, P=0. 023; χ2=13. 870, P＜0. 001), at the end of 3 months, and 6 months of intervention. Conclusion Behavioral intervention based on TTM could effectively improve fall prevention self-efficacy level, increase fall prevention adherence, and decrease times of falling in elder patients. To explore the causes and nursing strategies of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) removal difficulty in senior elderly patients. A senior elderly patient with PICC difficulty for removing was analyzed comprehensively. The main reasons for the difficulty of removal were the adhesion of the catheter tip to the wall of superior vena cava, the change of anatomical structure of the vein and the loss of elasticity of the catheter after repeated pulling. The senior elderly group has some characteristics different from the general patient group, such as long-term bed rest, limb loss, long-term intravenous parenteral nutrition and so on, During the use of PICC, attention should be paid to abnormal changes of catheter, consult with specialist nurses in time, and solve problems with multidisciplinary consultation when necessary, so as to avoid difficulties in removal caused by improper maintenance and improper removal operation and serious complications caused by removal failure. Abstract Background Excessive deposition of abdominal fat poses serious problems in broilers owing to rapid growth. Recently, the evolution of the existing knowledge on long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and circular RNAs (circRNAs) have established their indispensable roles in multiple physiological metabolic processes, including adipogenesis and fat deposition. However, not much has been explored on their profiles in the abdominal fat tissues of broilers to date. In the study, we aimed to characterize the vital candidates of lncRNAs and circRNAs and their underlying regulations for abdominal fat deposition in broilers. Results The present study sequenced the lncRNAs and circRNAs expression profiles in the abdominal fat tissues isolated from 7-week-old broilers, who were divergently selected for their fatness. Cancer poses a serious threat to human health and is the most common cause of human death. Polymer-based nanomedicines are presently used to enhance the treatment effectiveness and decrease the systemic toxicity of chemotherapeutic agents. However, the disadvantage of currently polymeric carriers is without therapy procedure. Herein, for the first time, glutathione (GSH)-responsive polymer (PRES) with anti-cancer effect was synthesized following the condensation–polymerization method using resveratrol (RES) and 3,3′-dithiodipropionic acid. PRES can not only suppress the tumor cells growth but can also self-assemble into nanoparticles (∼93 nm) for delivering antitumor drugs, such as paclitaxel (PTX@PRES NPs). The system could achieve high drug loading (∼7%) and overcome multidrug resistance (MDR). The results from the in vitro studies revealed that the NPs formed of PRES were stable in the systemic circulation, while could be efficiently degraded in tumor cells high GSH environment. Results from cytotoxicity tests confirmed that PTX@PRES NPs could effectively suppress the growth of cancer cells (A549) and drug-resistant cells (A549/PTX). The NPs could also be used to significantly increase the therapeutic efficacy of the drugs in A549/PTX tumor-bearing mice. In vivo investigations also demonstrated that the PRES-based NPs exhibited tumor inhibition effects. In summary, we report that the GSH-responsive polymer synthesized by us exhibited multiple interesting functions and could be used for effective drug delivery. The polymer exhibited good therapeutic effects and could be used to overcome MDR. Thus, the synthesized system can be used to develop a new strategy for treating cancer.
