Recurrence of postoperative adhesions is one of the most important factors for poor reproductive outcomes after hysteroscopic surgery, particularly in cases diagnosed with severe intrauterine adhesions (IUAs), where the recurrence rate is significantly higher. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the electrical muscle stimulation combined with ultrasound acupuncture therapy in preventing the recurrence of IUAs and improving reproductive outcomes after operative hysteroscopy.This study is a single-center, randomized controlled trial. A total of 210 patients with IUAs will be randomly assigned into 2 groups according to the ratio of 1:1, as the treatment group and the control group. Participants will receive the electrical muscle stimulation combined with ultrasound acupuncture therapy and oral hormone supplementation or receive oral hormone supplementation only. The primary outcome was the clinical response rate. There were 3 menstrual cycles of treatment and 3 menstrual cycles of follow-up in this study.This study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Reproductive Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (approval number: KY-LL-2022-06). This trial will be conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki as well as Good Clinical Practice. Foliar nyctinasty refers to the daily rhythm in leaf orientation that occurs in evolutionarily diverse taxa. Traditionally, two mechanisms have been identified for the sleep movement of leaves, namely pulvinar and non-pulvinar. Here, we report upon some novel aspects of the nyctinastic behavior of leaves of the sacred lotus (Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn., Nelumbonaceae). We discovered that expanding leaves underwent daily oscillations in leaf orientation with a more vertical position at night, which is similar to many nyctinastic species. Additionally, however, the immature leaves were observed to exhibit a second type of nyctinasty that involved nocturnal rolling of leaf blades, which has not previously been reported. These two distinct mechanisms acted synergistically to make the young leaves more compact at night during a brief period (6 days) of leaf ontogenesis, during which petiole and blade showed substantial growth. We propose that the nyctinastic behavior of immature N. nucifera leaves is an adaptation that facilitates leaf growth at night by reducing mechanical interference with other leaves and plants.

Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is the most common and toxic among the aflatoxin group. Improper storage of both raw and processed peanut oil makes it susceptible to AFB1 production. Here, a closed-loop photocatalytic reactor consisting of a glass tube coated with TiO2 as a catalyst has been developed to study the photocatalytic detoxification of AFB1 in peanut oil. The removal rates of AFB1 in the photocatalytic process were apparently higher than that of the photolysis process. It is inappropriate to approximate Langmuir–Hinshelwood kinetics by a first-order kinetic expression based on the experimental kinetic data for the photocatalytic process. The newly proposed Weibull distribution model provides a good description of the kinetics of the photocatalytic process over the ranges of initial AFB1 concentrations and light intensities studied. The key parameters affecting the detoxification efficiency in terms of the reliable life of this model are described.

The development of wearable strain sensors with simultaneous large stretchability (strain55%) and high sensitivity (gauge factor100) remains a grand challenge to this day. Drawing on inspiration from nature, nacre has demonstrated outstanding mechanical properties, especially combining high strength and toughness, which is due in part to its delicate hierarchical layered architecture with rich interfacial interactions. We demonstrate that strain sensors based on this nacre-mimetic microscale "brick-and-mortar" architecture can simultaneously achieve ultrahigh sensitivity and large stretchability while performing well in linearity, reliability, long-term durability, and monotonicity. The bioinspired sensor demonstrated a gauge factor200 over a range of working strains up to 83% and achieved a high gauge factor exceeding 8700 in the strain region of 76-83%. To maintain the quality of harvested fruits and vegetables in a closed refrigerated environment, a novel nanocomposite photocatalyst MIL101(Fe)-TiO2-rGO (MTR) for ethylene degradation was synthesized. The characterization of MTR was analyzed by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and High-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM). Moreover, with the good conductivity of rGO, MTR had the smallest band gaps according to ultraviolet–visible solid diffuse reflection (UV–Vis DRS) analysis; this small band gap size improved the utilization of light. According to the results of the photoluminescence spectra and electrochemical impedance spectra, the charge transfer resistance and transient photocurrent of MTR were improved. The redox process of Ti4+/Ti3+ from TiO2 and Fe3+/Fe2+ from MIL101(Fe) efficiently prevented the recombination of e--h+ pairs. In this cycle, oxidative active substances (•O2−) were provided, which played a key role in the ethylene degradation of MTR. Additionally, MTR has excellent gas adsorption capacity, and the photocatalytic degradation rate of C2H4 by MTR was 2.07 × 10-4 min−1, which is better than that of other photocatalysts. Furthermore, the photocatalytic activity of MTR was still stable after 4 times of recycling, indicating the potential to maintain the quality of horticultural products after harvesting.

A nanocomposite photocatalyst of TiO2 nanotubes/reduced graphene oxide (rGO-TNTAs) were prepared by γ-ray radiolysis. The rGO-TNTAs were studied for photocatalytic decomposition of ethylene (C2H4) in a refrigerated environment. Degradation efficiency of ethylene by these materials was described by the apparent first-order rate constant (K). The composite was characterized by Raman spectroscopy (RS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and Field emission electron microscopy (FESEM). The preparing parameters for materials affecting the degradation efficiency in terms of the rate constant were studied, including the GO addition and the irradiation dose. The results showed that (1) gamma irradiation can induce GO to partial rGO, the rGO surface of rGO-TNTAs was smooth and loosely lamellar structure. (2) The K of the rGO-TNTAs is highly dependent on the GO addition and the irradiation dose. With a GO addition of 0.1 g and an irradiation dose of 20 kGy, the maximum K value of rGO-TNTAs could be obtained under the experimental conditions. (3) From analysis of the Raman spectroscopy spectrum, optimum changes had occurred in the intensity ratio of D-band to G-band of the GO that had been γ-ray-irradiated with a dose of 20 kGy, resulting in the K of rGO-TNTAs increased by 40.9% compared with that of TNTAs.
