A new species of the genus Asplenium L. from northern Qinghai, A. delinghaense S. Q. Liang et X.C. Zhang, is described and illustrated here. This new species resembles A. iskardense Viane et Reichst., A.daghestanicum Christ, and A. neovarians Ching but differs in frond and perispore morphology. Molecular phylogenetic evidence supported the close relationship of A. delinghaense with members of the A. varians complex and the A. pekinense complex and indicated an allotetraploid origin of it., Описан и проиллюстрирован новый вид рода Asplenium L. из северного Цинхая – A.delinghaense S. The paper presents a comprehensive computational and experimental study of the crack growth rate during the creep-fatigue interaction in compact specimens of P2M steel at a temperature of 550 °C. The theoretical part of the study consisted in the formulation of the fracture resistance parameters through the classical and new constitutive equations of the cracked body state taking into account the accumulation of damage. Numerical calculations included the determination of the stress-strain state fields for the conditions of elasticity, plasticity, and creep, as well as the distributions of nonlinear stress intensity factors and the C*-integral along the crack length and along the crack front for each tested compact specimen. The interpretation of the experimental results for specimens of the same shape in plan but different thicknesses is given in terms of elastic and nonlinear stress intensity factors, taking into account the accumulation of creep damage. It was found that the crack growth rate under the fatigue and creep interaction increases monotonically as the crack size increases in comparison with harmonic fatigue by an order of magnitude or more on specimens of the same geometry. Taking into account the damage through the creep stress intensity factors causes differences in the cyclic fracture diagrams. The superposition of fatigue and creep contributions in terms of load holding time shows an order of magnitude increase in the total crack growth rate compared to the interpretation of the experimental data in terms of pure creep.

Based on extensive herbarium research of the Selaginella monospora group (incl. S. effusa, S.microclada, S. monospora, S. subdiaphana, and S. submonospora) and on molecular phylogenetic evidence, an additional new species to this group was discovered. It was collected from Dawei Mountain in southeast Yunnan, and here named as Selaginella subeffusa. The new species distinctly differs from similar species by its coriaceous and densely imbricate ventral leaves on main stems and branches, 2.2–3.1 mm long and 1.1–1.5 mm wide, with enlarged acroscopic base, and strongly overlapping stem and branches, and with denticulate margins; microspores verrucate and perforate. Phylogenetic analyses of three plastid regions (rbcL, atpI, psbA) showed that S. subeffusa clustered with S. submonospora and nested between the “S. microclada – S. effusa” clade and the “S. monospora” clade., На основе обширных исследований гербарных образцов видов группы Selaginella monospora, включающей S. effusa, S. microclada, S. monospora, S. subdiaphana и S. submonospora, и молекулярно-филогенетических данных был обнаружен новый вид в этой группе. 经股动脉逆行导丝跨瓣是目前经导管主动脉瓣置换术中最常见的跨瓣方法。该文报道2例主动脉瓣置换术后瓣膜衰败的重度主动脉瓣狭窄患者，导丝逆行跨主动脉瓣难度大，采用穿刺房间隔顺行跨瓣方法成功建立轨道，人工瓣膜经股动脉逆行释放，避免顺行释放可能造成的二尖瓣损伤。术后超声心动图提示人工瓣膜流速、跨瓣压差明显改善，无明显瓣周漏，患者症状明显改善，短期临床效果满意。穿刺房间隔顺行跨瓣对于导丝跨瓣难度大的经导管主动脉瓣置换术患者是一种有效的替代方法。.

三尖瓣反流常继发于肺动脉高压、心房颤动、风湿性瓣膜病和外伤等，常伴有症状性心力衰竭及高死亡率，传统治疗方法为外科手术，但外科手术死亡率较高，且很多患者无法耐受外科手术，故目前尚无安全有效的治疗方法。该文报道1例外科手术高危的重度三尖瓣反流患者，行经股静脉异位三尖瓣介入治疗后临床症状改善，并结合文献分析了异位三尖瓣植入术围手术期注意事项，为临床实践提供参考。.

Although drug development is never interrupted, no single drug has been proven to play a decisive role in improving the survival of AHF patients. In China, multi-component traditional Chinese medicine has been widely used to treat AHF. As a Chinese herbal injection included in medical insurance, Yiqi Fumai Injection can reduce the level of NT-proBNP in AHF patients, improve heart function, and alleviate symptoms and signs related to heart failure. To further evaluate the therapeutic effect of Yiqi Fumai Injection on AHF, a multi-center, double-blind, randomized controlled trial that intends to recruit 1270 patients is being carried out in China. However, the mechanism of Yiqi Fumai Injection in the treatment of AHF has not been clarified. To further explore the underlying mechanism, we used systematic pharmacology methods to explore the potential molecular mechanisms of biologically active compounds. Methods We used the databases of HERB, the Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ETCM), the Comparative Toxicogenomics Database (CTD), Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM), and GeneCards to predict the active ingredients and potential targets of Yiqi Fumai Injection in the treatment of AHF. STRING was used for PPI network construction and analysis. Cytoscape was used to build a network between Chinese medicine, ingredients and targets. The DAVID, GO, and KEGG databases were used to predict the potential pathways of Yiqi Fumai Injection for the treatment of AHF. Results We obtained 31 active compounds of Yiqi Fumai Injection from HERB and ECTM databases. By overlapping targets between YQFMI and AHF, a total of 240 potential targets for Yiqi Fumai Injection to treat AHF were selected. According to the H-C-T network topology analysis, the core compounds include beta-sitosterol, Uridine, Guanosine, and Stigmasterol. Sixteen protein targets had significantly higher node degrees than the average in the PPI network, including AKT1, JUN, TNF, EDN1, CASP3, ESR1, DLG4, PTGS2, NOS3, IL1B, C3, AR, LEP, CNR1, CHRM2, and DRD2. The PPI results showed that the potential therapeutic targets of YQFMI were densely enriched in pathways related to endothelial function, neuromodulation, and lipid metabolism.The same results were shown in GO and KEGG pathway enrichment. Conclusion Our results indicate that Yiqi Fumai Injection may achieve the goal of improving AHF-related symptoms by regulating the function of vascular endothelium and nerves and the biosynthetic pathway of lipid metabolism. A highly adaptable and robust terahertz (THz) energy meter is designed and implemented to detect energetic THz pulses from high-intensity (>1018 W/cm2) laser–plasma interactions on the OMEGA EP. THz radiation from the laser driven target is detected by a shielded pyrometer. A second identical pyrometer is used for background subtraction. The detector can be configured to detect THz pulses in the 1 mm to 30 μm (0.3- to 10-THz) range and pulse energies from joules to microjoules via changes in filtration, aperture size, and position. Additional polarization selective filtration can also be used to determine the THz pulse polarization. The design incorporates significant radiation and electromagnetic pulse shielding to survive and operate within the OMEGA EP radiation environment. We describe the design, operational principle, calibration, and testing of the THz energy meter. The pyrometers were calibrated using a benchtop laser and show linear sensitivity to up to 1000 nJ of absorbed energy. The initial results from four OMEGA EP THz experiments detected up to [Formula: see text] at the detector, which can correspond to hundreds of mJ depending on THz emission and reflection models.

We report the observation of terahertz field-induced second harmonic (TFISH) generation produced by directly mixing an optical probe beam onto femtosecond plasma filaments. The produced TFISH signal is spatially separated from the laser-induced supercontinuum by impinging on the plasma at a noncollinear angle. The conversion efficiency of the fundamental probe beam to its second harmonic (SH) beam is greater than 0.02%, which represents a record in optical probe to TFISH conversion efficiency that is nearly five orders of magnitude larger than previous experiments. We also present the terahertz (THz) spectral buildup of the source along the plasma filament and retrieve coherent terahertz signal measurements. This method of analysis has the potential to provide local electric field strength measurements inside of the filament.

To improve the utilization rate of tidal current energy, Twin Half-rotating Impeller Tidal Turbine(THITT), a new type of tidal turbine was proposed based on the half-rotating impeller(HRI) which was a new type lift-resistance compound impeller, and its virtual prototype was established. By changing the way the impeller rotated, two kinds of CFD models were established and taken into Xflow to calculate. The differences in their velocity fields and hydrodynamical performance were compared. The results demonstrated that THITT of different rotating directions both own good start-up performance and there were no dead points. Compared with the output power of the two independent impellers, the output power was increased by 20% when rotating in the spin.

Cd 1-x Mn x Te crystals exhibit a strong optical rectification and electro-optic effects. We present our studies on Cd 0.55 Mn 0.45 Te single crystals, operating as efficient emitters and detectors of THz radiation transients, when excited by femtosecond optical pulses.

The neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is a prognostic marker predicting in-hospital mortality and stent patency in vascular disorders. This study aimed to investigate whether the NLR obtained at admission can be used to predict vascular remodelling outcomes in spontaneous isolated superior mesenteric dissection (SISMAD) patients.A total of 109 consecutive SISMAD patients, admitted to a single centre between November 2017 and June 2019, were retrospectively enrolled. Demographics, comorbidities, imaging data, and follow-up results were recorded. NLR at admission was calculated from a routine hemogram. The study endpoint was complete vascular remodelling or follow-up deadline. Patients were divided into two groups: complete vascular remodelling (Group 1) and partial vascular remodelling (Group 2). All parameters, including NLR, were compared between the groups. Multivariate logistic regression analysis determined whether NLR is independent of vascular remodelling in SISMAD patients after conservative treatment.Complete vascular remodelling of SISMAD occurred in 26 patients (23.9%) and partial remodelling in 83 patients (76.1%). Baseline NLR was significantly higher in the partial remodelling group than in the complete remodelling group [(6.32±2.10) vs. (4.90±2.12), p=0.003]. Complete remodelling was higher in the low NLR group than in the high NLR group [(15, 34.1%) vs. (11, 16.9%), p=0.039]. NLR (odd ratio [OR], 1.631; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.027-2.592; p=0.038) and superior mesenteric artery-distal aorta angle (OR, 9.246; 95% CI, 2.217-38.560; p=0.002) were independent predictors of complete remodelling in multivariate logistic regression analysis. From the receiver operating characteristic curve, the best NLR cut-off value to predict complete vascular remodelling was 5.37, with 72.3% sensitivity and 69.2% specificity.The inflammation marker NLR may predict worse vascular remodelling in SISMAD patients.

A simple and successful design for a microstrip stepped-impedance resonator (SIR) bandpass filter (BPF) based on inductive coupling is presented. It is well known that SIRs are used to shift or suppress the higher order frequencies. In order to achieve compact circuit size, a perceptual stepped-impedance resonator is utilized. Based on theoretical analysis, this resonator can shift the spurious frequency to 3.8f0. The experimental results show good agreement with theory and simulations.

In this work, improved creep-fatigue life prediction models based on time fraction (TF) and ductility exhaustion (DE) rule are established for creep-fatigue life prediction of components at elevated temperatures. Cyclic softening/hardening and stress relaxation models for cyclic softening/hardening material are incorporated in the model. Materials data conducted by authors and collected from references are employed for validations. Results indicated that the improved models proposed could present more realistic evolution behavior of materials than the half-life models. The differences of the predicted lives based on the improved models and half-life models are dependent on cyclic behaviors of materials. The predicted life by the improved model is lower than that gained by the half-life model for cyclic softening steels, while it is higher than that by the half-life model for cyclic hardening steels. In addition, the DE rule could overcome the influence of cyclic softening/hardening on creep-fatigue life prediction more significantly than the TF rule.

To explore the potential indicators including patients' characteristics, electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiography, and serological assay in predicting the major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) within 1 year for patients with low-risk chest pain with a nomogram.The detected indicators of patients with low-risk chest pain were obtained as the alternative predictors for MACE. After the 1-year follow-up, patients with MACE were enrolled in the MACE group while the remained patients were in the non-MACE group. A nomogram was constructed based on the multivariable Cox regression to link the independent predictors and the MACE within 1 year for patients with low-risk chest pain.The incidence of MACE within 1 year was 6.94% according to the follow-up result. Multivariate analysis revealed that risk factors of CAD, P-terminal force in lead V1 (PTFV1), C-reactive protein (CRP), and transmitral inflow early diastolic peak velocity (E wave) /peak early diastolic velocity (Em) (E/Em) were the independent predictors for the MACE. A nomogram incorporating these independent predictors with a good discrimination (0.79 in C-index) and calibration was constructed to predict the incidence of MACE within 1 year. It could be used to help select the patients with a high risk of MACE and develop preventive treatment strategies.Risk factors of CAD, PTFV1, CRP, and E/Em were the independent predictors for the MACE within 1 year in patients with low-risk chest pain. The present nomogram provides a user friendly tool in the prediction of MACE for these patients.

Objective To assess the feasibility of the rbcL sequence of chloroplast DNA as a genetic marker to identify Cannabis sativa L. Methods The rbcL sequences in 62 Cannabis sativa L. samples, 10 Humulus lupulus samples and 10 Humulus scandens DNA samples were detected, and 96 rbcL sequences of the Cannabaceae family were downloaded from Genbank. Sequence alignment was performed by MEGA X software, the intraspecific and interspecific Kimura-2-Parameter （K2P） genetic distances were calculated, and the system clustering tree was constructed. Results The rbcL sequence length acquired by sequencing of Cannabis sativa L. and Humulus scandens were 617 bp and 649 bp, respectively, and two haplotypes of Cannabis sativa L. were observed in the samples. The BLAST similarity search results showed that the highest similarity between the sequences acquired by sequencing and Cannabis sativa L. rbcL sequences available from Genbank was 100%. The genetic distance analysis showed that the maximum intraspecific genetic distance （0.004 9） of Cannabis sativa L. was less than the minimum interspecific genetic distance （0.012 9）. The results of median-joining network and system clustering tree analysis showed that Cannabis sativa L. and other members of the Cannabaceae family were located in different branches. Conclusion The rbcL sequence could be used as a DNA barcode for identifying Cannabis sativa L., and combined with comparative analysis of the rbcL sequence and system cluster analysis could be a reliable and effective detection method for Cannabis sativa L. identification in forensic investigation.基于rbcL序列的大麻鉴定.目的 评估叶绿体DNA rbcL序列作为遗传标记鉴定大麻的可行性。 方法 检测62份大麻、10份啤酒花及10份葎草DNA的rbcL序列，并从GenBank数据库中下载96条大麻科rbcL序列。应用MEGA X软件进行序列比对，计算种内及种间Kimura-2-Parameter（K2P）遗传距离并构建系统聚类树。 结果 本次大麻及葎草属样本测序所得rbcL序列长度分别为617 bp和649 bp，且在所测大麻样本中检测到2种单倍型。BLAST相似性检索结果显示，测序所得序列与GenBank数据库中大麻rbcL序列相似性最高为100%。遗传距离分析结果显示，大麻种内不同样本间的最大遗传距离（0.004 9）小于大麻与大麻科其他物种间的最小遗传距离（0.012 9）。从中介网络图和系统聚类分析中可以看出，大麻与大麻科其他物种位于不同分支。 结论 rbcL序列可以作为鉴定大麻的DNA条形码，联合rbcL序列的比对分析和系统聚类分析有望成为法医学大麻种属鉴定可靠、便捷的检测手段。.法医遗传学；DNA测序；大麻；DNA条形码；rbcL序列.

Sepsis is a systemic inflammatory response that can lead to the dysfunction of many organs, including the cardiac one. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been shown to be involved in multiple organ injuries induced by sepsis. However, the regulatory effect of nuclear enriched abundant transcript 1 (NEAT1) on sepsis-induced myocardial injury remains to be explored.The sepsis models of myocardial cell injury were constructed using lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay was used to detect cell viability. Flow cytometry was performed to assess cell apoptosis. Moreover, the levels of apoptosis-related and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway-related proteins were evaluated by Western blot (WB) analysis. Besides, the contents of inflammatory cytokines were tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The expression levels of NEAT1 and microRNA-144-3p (miR-144-3p) were determined by quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR). In addition, Dual-Luciferase reporter and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assays were used to verify the interaction between NEAT1 and miR-144-3p.LPS could induce myocardial cell injury to construct sepsis models. NEAT1 was upregulated in LPS-treated myocardial cells, and its knockdown promoted viability, suppressed apoptosis, and relieved inflammatory response in LPS-induced myocardial cell injury. MiR-144-3p was downregulated in LPS-treated myocardial cells, and the effect of its overexpression on LPS-induced myocardial cell injury was similar to the effect of NEAT1 knockdown. Besides, miR-144-3p could be sponged by NEAT1, and its inhibitor could reverse the effect of NEAT1 knockdown on LPS-induced myocardial cell injury. Moreover, NEAT1 and miR-144-3p could regulate the activity of NF-κB signaling pathway.LncRNA NEAT1 could interact with miR-144-3p to regulate sepsis-induced myocardial cell injury through the NF-κB signaling pathway, which might provide a new theoretical basis for the study on the effect of sepsis treatment.

Broadband terahertz (THz) wave emission from flowing liquid targets has been demonstrated under short optical pulse excitation. Observations have been reported by using liquid THz sources, including optimal angle of incidence, preference of subpicosecond pulse excitation, and strong sideway emission. Compared with solid targets, the fluidity of liquid allows each laser pulse to interact with a fresh area, which makes it possible to use a table-top laser with a high repetition rate for excitation. Liquids with a comparable material density to solids make them promising candidates for the study of high-density plasma and bright THz sources. In this paper, we review recent progress, challenges, and opportunities of THz emission from liquids. This topic may offer new possibilities in the exploration of THz liquid photonics and may play an indispensable role in the study of laser-liquid interaction.

This work is dedicated to the memory of our friend, colleague and teacher Professor Ming-Li Zhang, a recognized expert in botany in such groups as Fabaceae, Polygonaceae, Tamaricaceae, Nitrariaceae. He made a great contribution to the study of the Flora of China and Central Asia. He used not only the traditional methods of research, but also showed great interest in cladistics, DELTA programs and other methods of systematics throughout his research. Professor Ming-Li Zhang trained many excellent students. In addition, we attach a list of published papers related to his research.

This article describes the design and evaluation of a new type of propulsion mechanism that uses modular umbrella-like wings oscillating symmetrically in counterphase to generate thrust. The principle of the propulsion and movement of the modular umbrella-like wings was first developed, and the mechanism used to implement the movement of the modular wings was subsequently designed. A structural model and the assembly relationship of the propulsion mechanism were developed for prototype fabrication. An experiment was established to measure the kinematic and mechanical performances of the propulsion mechanism for different reciprocating frequencies and travels. The results for the single umbrella-like wing indicate that either increasing the frequency or enlarging the travel can enhance the average aerodynamic force generated by the wing in one cycle. The results for the modular umbrella-like wings demonstrate that the inertial force generated by the mechanism can be balanced using a symmetrical structure. The average aerodynamic force would be markedly enhanced by increasing the percentage of the time that the outspread wing is moving downwards; e.g. the average aerodynamic force generated by the modular umbrella-like wings was increased by 85.84% compared to the value for a single umbrella-like wing for the same travel and frequency. This work provides practical guidance for optimising the structure design.

Physics-informed neural network has strong generalization ability for small dataset, due to the inclusion of underlying physical knowledge. Two strategies are enforced to incorporate physics constraints to a deep neural network in this work. One is to obtain extended features through physics-informed feature engineering, and the other is to incorporate physics-informed loss function into deep neural network as constraints. Conventional machine learning models, deep neural network and physics-informed neural network are applied to predict creep-fatigue life of 316 stainless steel. Results show that physics-informed neural network presents better prediction accuracy than deep neural network and conventional machine learning models.

Deep learning is a particular kind of machine learning, which achieves great power and flexibility by a nested hierarchy of concepts. A general life prediction method for components under creep, fatigue and creep-fatigue conditions is proposed. Fatigue, creep and creep-fatigue data of a typical austenitic stainless steel (i.e., 316) are integrated. Conventional machine learning models (e.g., support vector machine, random forest, Gaussian process regression, shallow neural network) and deep learning model (e.g., deep neural network) are applied for life predictions. Results show that deep learning model exhibits better prediction accuracy and generalization ability than conventional machine learning model.

Rotary-bending fatigue tests of Ti-6Al-4V alloy at very high-cycle regime were performed in air and 3.5% NaCl solution, respectively. The S-N curves exhibited the characteristic of horizontal asymptote (traditional fatigue limit) in laboratory air, while a lower fatigue limit was shown in 3.5% NaCl solution after around 3 × 108 cycles. The decrease of fatigue life was due to the generation of small surface defects in comparison with that in air. These defects were ascribed to the hydrogen-induced cracking and fatigue loading. The number of fatigue crack initiation sites decreases with increasing cycles. Only one crack origin site, dominated by slip mechanism, exists in each specimen at very high-cycle regime. The existing experimental S-N data of Ti-6Al-4V alloy from very high-cycle fatigue tests were also reviewed. It was shown that the fatigue life (R = −1) of Ti-6Al-4V alloy was predominantly influenced by the microstructure and not strongly sensitive to the loading mode and frequency (in the range from 52.5 Hz to 20 kHz) under air condition at room temperature.
