16. An Improved Dipole Extraction Method From Magnitude-Only Electromagnetic-Field Data

Abstract

Infinitesimal electric and magnetic dipoles are widely used as an equivalent radiating source model. In this paper, an improved method for dipole extraction from magnitude-only electromagnetic-field data based on genetic algorithm and back-and-forth iteration algorithm [1] is proposed. Compared with conventional back-and-forth iteration algorithm, this method offers an automatic flow to extract the equivalent dipoles without prior decision of the type, position, orientation and number of dipoles. It can be easily applied to electromagnetic-field data on arbitrarily shaped surfaces and minimize the number of required dipoles. The extracted dipoles can be close to original radiating structure, thus being physical. Compared with conventional genetic algorithm based method, this method reduces the optimization time and will not easily get trapped into local minima during optimization, thus being more robust. This method is validated by both simulation data and measurement data and its advantages are proved. The potential application of this method in phase retrieval is also discussed.

29. Role of m6A modifications in immune evasion and immunotherapy.

Abstract

RNA modification has garnered increasing attention in recent years due to its pivotal role in tumorigenesis and immune surveillance. N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification is the most prevalent RNA modification, which can affect the expression of RNA by methylating adenylate at the sixth N position to regulate the occurrence and development of tumors. Dysregulation of m6A affects the activation of cancer-promoting pathways, destroys immune cell function, maintains immunosuppressive microenvironment, and promotes tumor cell growth. In this review, we delve into the latest insights into how abnormalities in m6A modification in both tumor and immune cells orchestrate immune evasion through the activation of signaling pathways. Furthermore, we explore how dysregulated m6A modification in tumor cells influences immune cells, thereby regulating tumor immune evasion via interactions within the tumor microenvironment (TME). Lastly, we highlight recent discoveries regarding specific inhibitors of m6A modulators and the encapsulation of m6A-targeting nanomaterials for cancer therapy, discussing their potential applications in immunotherapy. Abstract

In view of the multi-component coupling modulation characteristics of complex fault signals and the envelope error phenomenon of the local average decomposition method,an LMD method based on rational sub-interval Hermite interpolation is proposed. Through calculating the optimal parameter interval,the optimal parameter between the cells and the parameter in the optimal parameter interval is selected to adjust the shape of the interpolation spline so that the interpolation spline is infinitely close to the target to be interpolated,thereby improving the fitting precision and accuracy of the envelope curve. The comparison of simulation data is used to verify the approximation ability and high fitting accuracy of the rational Hermite interpolation LMD method. The method is applied to the diagnosis of compound fault signals of gear and rolling bearing,and the high fitting accuracy of the method is proved again. The accurate diagnosis of compound fault signal is realized.

41. Periodic and Dynamic Periodic Event-Triggered Control for Nonlinear Cyber-Physical Systems Under DoS Attacks via a Hybrid System Approach

Abstract

This article is focused on the problem of periodic event-triggered control (PETC) and dynamic periodic event-triggered control (DPETC) for nonlinear cyber-physical systems (CPSs) under denial-of-service (DoS) attacks and exogenous disturbances. The analysis relies on a new model to design PETC and DPETC schemes such that the nonlinear CPSs are resilient to a class of malicious attacks which can be characterized by attacking frequency and attacking duration. By developing average dwell-time automaton and a time-ratio monitor to describe frequency and duration of the DoS attacks, general hybrid dynamical frameworks are first proposed for event-triggered nonlinear CPSs. Based on the established models, novel Lyapunov functions are constructed. Furthermore, thanks to the Lyapunov-based approach, $L_{2}$-gain performance of the considered nonlinear CPSs under DoS attacks is analyzed. Finally, the feasibility of the theoretical findings is demonstrated by a numerical example.
