Yaşamın temeli niteliğini taşıyan erken çocukluk döneminde ceza infaz kurumunda kalan çocukların maruz kaldığı olumsuz çocukluk çağı deneyimlerinin etkisinin yetişkinlik döneminde sorunlara yol açtığı ve sosyal konumlarının dezavantajlı olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, “Özgürlüğüm” projesi kapsamında, 7 kadın ceza infaz kurumunda anneleriyle kalan 0-6 yaş çocukların temel ihtiyaçlarının karşılanması ve ilişkilerinin desteklenmesi amacıyla yapılan psikososyal müdahale programına katılan annelerin, ceza infaz kurumunda büyüyen çocuklarının yaşam ortamı ve ilişkilerine dair görüşlerinin ele alınmasıdır. Çocukların gelişim düzeyine ve anne çocuk ilişki boyutuna bakılmış ve annelerin gözüyle çocuklar açısından ceza infaz kurumu koşulları ele alınmıştır. 68 anne ve 70 çocuk ile yürütülen sivil toplum projesi kapsamında annelerle yapılan grup çalışmalarından yazılı kayda alınarak elde edilen nitel veriler, ceza infaz kurumunun fiziki ve sosyal ortamının çocuklar için etkisini açıkça gözler önüne sermiştir. Annelerin söylemleri tema analizi yapılarak; cezaevi şartlarında annelik yapmak ve cezaevinde büyümek ana temalarına ulaşılmıtır. İlk ana temayla cezaevi ortamı ve annelik, mahkum anne olmak, cezaevinde anne çocuk ilişkileri ve aile içi ilişkiler alt temalarına ulaşılmış; ikinci ana temayla çocuğun gelişimsel süreçleri annelerin söylemleri aracılığıyla anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çocukların yaşıtlarına göre dil, kişisel sosyal, ince motor ve kaba motor gelişim düzeylerinin belirlenmesi için uygulanan Denver Gelişimsel Tarama Testi sonucu ceza infaz kurumundaki çocukların çoğunluğunun gelişiminin yaşıtlarına göre geride veya şüpheli olduğu bulunmuştur. Annelere uygulanan Çocuk Ana-baba ilişki Ölçeği‟ne göre ilişkide çatışma boyutunun orta düzeyde, olumlu ilişki boyutunun oldukça düşük düzeyde olduğu bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre ceza infaz kurumunda annesinin yanında kalan çocuklar için hak temelli uygulamalar, hizmet odaklı uygulamalar ve boylamsal araştırmalar önerilmektedir., Early childhood experiences during living with incarcerated mother may lead to problems during adulthood and effect social position in the society as disadvantaged. The aim of this research is to examine the views of the incarcerated mothers who participated in the psychosocial intervention program within the scope of TOÇEV's Özgürlüğüm Project which was conducted with 68 incarcerated mothers and their 70 children who stay in 7 different women Criminal Justice Instutition in Turkey. Data were obtained by using quantitative reports recorded in Denver II Developmental Screening Test, Child Parental Relationship Scale Mother Form, in order to evaluate the development of children and the relation between incarcerated mothers and children; qualitative reports were examined for the life experiences of children through the mothers' eyes. According to the results of developmental scanning test, the development level of mostly children in prison is behind or suspicious compared to their peers, also it was found that there is no significant difference with the duration of stay or the age of the child. According to the child-parent relationship scale applied to mothers, the conflict dimension in the relationship was moderate and the positive relation dimension was very low. The qualitative data obtained from mothers' sessions reveal the effects and the reasons why children's development is behind their peers. The discourses obtained through written recordings are theme analyzed. Main themes are to be a mother in prison conditions and growing up in the prison. The sub-themes are; prison environment and motherhood, being an incarcerated mother, mother-child relations and family relations in the prison. According to the results of the research, children rights-based practices, service-oriented practices and longitudinal studies for children who stay with his mother in the penal institution were suggested.

La repressió política i moral succeïda a la Presó de Dones de Les Corts (1936‐1955) ha restat oblidada durant dècades per part del conjunt de la societat, però sobretot per part del conjunt d’institucions públiques responsables del manteniment de la nostra memòria col∙lectiva. Ha estat la societat civil, ‐en base a treballs previs de recerca‐, la protagonista d’un llarg procés de recuperació d’aquesta memòria escapçada per qüestions polítiques, territorials i de gènere. Les causes del seu oblit són les mateixes que justifiquen la necessitat de la seva memòria. L’estratègia de recuperació passa per anar conquerint espais de socialització en diversos medis i mitjans, entre els que destaca l’establiment l’any 2010 d’un espai memorial dedicat a la Presó: presodelescorts.org. Tanmateix, es treballa, de forma transversal i participativa, per la futura construcció d’un monument dedicat a les preses, ‐i als seus fills i filles‐, repressaliades en aquesta institució; com acte d’homenatge i expressió de la seva memòria en l’espai públic, ‐en el mateix territori que un dia va ser la Presó de Dones de Les Corts., The moral and political repression carried out in Les Corts Women Prison (1936‐1955) has remained forgotten for decades by the whole society, especially by the public institutions responsible for the preservation of our collective memory. It has been civil society –based on previous research works‐, the protagonist of a long process of recovery of this forgotten and neglected memory due to political, territorial and gender reasons. The causes of this oblivion are the same that justify the need to remember. The memory recovery strategy is based on the conquest of diverse social media. Amongst them, there is the establishment in 2010 of a memorial site dedicated to the prison: presodelescorts.org. In addition, a participatory process is working on a transversal project for the development of a monument dedicated to the prison ́s inmates –as well as their daughters and sons‐ repressed in this institution, as an act of homage in the public space, the same territory where once was the Women’s Prison of Les Corts., La represión política y moral llevada a cabo en La Cárcel de Mujeres de Les Corts (1936‐1955) ha permanecido olvidada durante décadas por parte del conjunto de la sociedad, pero sobre todo por parte del conjunto de instituciones públicas responsables del mantenimiento de nuestra memoria colectiva. Ha sido la sociedad civil, ‐en base a trabajos previos de investigación‐, la protagonista de un largo proceso de recuperación de esta memoria olvidada por cuestiones políticas, territoriales y de género. Las causas de su olvido son las mismas que justifican la necesidad de su memoria. La estrategia de recuperación pasa por ir conquistando espacios de socialización en diversos medios, entre los que destaca el establecimiento en 2010 de un espacio memorial dedicado a la prisión: presodelescorts.org. Asimismo, se trabaja de forma transversal y participativa, para la futura construcción de un monumento dedicado a las presas, ‐y sus hijos y hijas‐, represaliadas en esta institución; como acto de homenaje y expresión de la memoria en el espacio público, ‐en el mismo territorio que un día fue la Cárcel de Mujeres de Les Corts.

When talking about health, or any other aspect of life in prison (security, accommodation, work-opportunities, education etc.), it is possible, at least, to address the issue on tree levels: normative level as the first one, it means written formal norms that are in force, than the objective situation that is the reality of women's lives in prison and finally their personal, subjective impressions and experiences. The author touches upon all three of them bearing in mind the normative, objective and subjective level of health conditions in women prison in the Republic of Croatia.
