The poet Marianne Moore wrote letters every day, of which the longest were directed to her own family. Three letters to Moore's brother, John Warner Moore, are included. John was nicknamed Winks and Badger and Moore herself signs off as Rat, Weaz, and Winks. Moore's letters date from October to December 1915, including the third of four letters describing a trip.
