Background and aimPathological changes in the central nervous system (CNS) begin before the clinical symptoms of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) manifest, with the hippocampus being one of the first affected structures. Current treatments fail to alter AD progression. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has shown potential in improving AD pathology through multi-target mechanisms. This study investigates pathological changes in AD hippocampal tissue and explores TCM active components that may alleviate these changes.MethodsGSE5281 and GSE173955 datasets were downloaded from GEO and normalized to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs). Key functional modules and hub genes were analyzed using Cytoscape and R. Active TCM components were identified from literature and the Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China. Enrichment analyses were performed on target genes overlapping with DEGs.ResultFrom the datasets, 76 upregulated and 363 downregulated genes were identified. Hub genes included SLAMF, CD34, ELN (upregulated) and ATP5F1B, VDAC1, VDAC2, HSPA8, ATP5F1C, PDHA1, UBB, SNCA, YWHAZ, PGK1 (downregulated). Literature review identified 33 active components from 23 herbal medicines. Target gene enrichment and analysis were performed for six components: dihydroartemisinin, berberine, naringenin, calycosin, echinacoside, and icariside II.ConclusionMitochondrial to synaptic vesicle dysfunction pathways were enriched in downregulated genes. Despite downregulation, UBB and SNCA proteins accumulate in AD brains. TCM studies suggest curcumin and echinacoside may improve hippocampal pathology and cognitive impairment in AD. Further investigation into their mechanisms is needed.

High strength Ti-5Al-3Mo-3V-2Zr-2Cr-1Nb-1Fe（Ti-5321） alloy is a new type of high strength tolerance titanium alloy designed and developed to meet the demand of high performance titanium alloy for new generation aircraft in China. Ti-5321 alloy with equiaxed microstructure（EM），basket-weave microstructure（BW） and fine basket-weave microstructure（F-BW）was obtained by forging and heat treatment，and the tensile properties and fatigue crack growth behavior were studied. Fatigue crack propagation mechanisms in Paris and unstable propagation regimes were revealed by analyzing the microstructures and fracture morphology using optical microscopy (OM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the samples with EM，BW and F-BW exhibit the excellent fatigue crack propagation resistance with the tensile strength of 1200 MPa. The sample with F-BW presents the highest fatigue crack propagation resistance in Paris and rapid growth regimes，while the sample with EM presents the lowest fatigue crack propagation resistance. In F-BW， the crack mainly propagates through and along α phase. Crack tends to propagate across colony oriented for （\begin{document}$ \bar{1} 011$\end{document}） pyramidal slip and propagates along colony oriented for （\begin{document}$10 \bar{1} 0$\end{document}） prismatic planes.

HdeA, a molecular chaperone localized in the bacterial periplasm, plays a vital role in maintaining protein homeostasis. Previous studies of HdeA were mainly carried out in in vitro conditions, limiting our understanding of the mechanism of HdeA in its native environment. Outer membrane vesicles of bacteria are extracellular vesicles released by cells into the extracellular milieu in a controlled manner, with contents almost identical to the periplasmic environment. Thus, by enriching HdeA into the bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMVs), we investigated the conformational changes of HdeA within OMVs via nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The results reveal that HdeA exhibits an acid-dependent conformational change in its native environment. The high-resolution spectrum of HdeA in OMVs indicates that under low pH conditions the function of HdeA is activated through residues S15, W16, T17, S27, T32, E36, G54, T57, C66, Q71, F74 and D83. Moreover, the NMR measurement of HdeA within OMVs provides a promising way for in situ investigation of mechanisms of other periplasmic molecular chaperones via NMR spectroscopy.

Cyanobacterial blooms (CBs) present significant challenges to Chinese mitten crab (CMC) culture, posing hazards to the aquatic microbial ecology. However, the current focus on the microbial ecological changes within the CMC culture system under the influence of CBs is somewhat insufficient. There’s an urgent need to analyze the microbial ecosystem of the CMC culture system under CBs. This study employed 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing to investigate the dynamics of the environmental microbial community in both the rice-crab co-culture (RC) and crab monoculture (CM) models. The results revealed that cyanobacteria reached high levels in the CM water in July, while they began to increase in the RC water in August. Notably, OTU147 (uncultured bacterium g_Planktothrix NIVA-CYA 15), identified as the dominant taxon associated with CBs, showed a significant linear relationship with TP, NO2−-N, and the N:P ratio. TP, TN, NO2−-N, and CODMn had a more pronounced impact on the structure of bacterial communities and cyanobacterial taxa in the water. The bacterial community structure involved in carbon metabolism displayed temporal succession in the water. The co-occurrence network of the bacterial community primarily consisted of Chloroflexi, Proteobacteria, and Firnicutes in the sediment, and Actinobacteria, Proteobacteria, Chloroflexi, and Bacteroidota in the water. In contrast, the co-occurrence network included different peripheral species in the sediment and water. Keystone species were predominantly represented by OTU22 (uncultured actinobacterium g_ hgcI clade) and OTU12 (uncultured Opitutae bacterium g_ norank) in the RC water, and by OTU25 (uncultured bacterium g_ Limnohabitans) in the CM water. TP, TN, NO2−-N, and CODMn were identified as the primary environmental factors influencing these keystone taxa within the culture water. In conclusion, this study on the microbial ecology of the CMC culture system under the influence of CBs provides valuable insights that can be instrumental in subsequent management efforts.

There has been a raising concern about frailty in elderly patients with esophageal cancer, and effective management of frailty may improve clinical outcomes of patients. This paper reviewed the studies about screening, assessment, and management strategies for frailty in elderly patients with esophageal cancer, as well as early identification of frailty using appropriate tools, in order to facilitate the development of screening and assessment tools and individualized management plans for esophageal cancer patients in China. (老年食管癌患者衰弱状况堪忧, 及时有效的衰弱管理能有效改善患者的临床结局。本文综述食管癌患者衰弱的筛查、评估及管理策略, 以及使用合适的工具尽早识别衰弱, 以期为构建适合我国食管癌患者衰弱筛查评估工具及个体化管理方案提供参考。)

【Objective】 This study is to propose a method to improve the accuracy of remote sensing-based soil salinity inversion in the Urartian irrigation area within the Hetao irrigation region. 【Method】 To address the challenge of low accuracy associated with using single data source, indices and algorithms for soil salinity inversion, we propose to use spectral indices and polarimetric-combination indices as the variables. Partial least squares regression (PLSR), adaptive boosting (AdaBoost), and random forest regression (RF) models were used to construct soil salinity inversion model, and the optimal inversion model was identified through comprehensive evaluation based on the spatiotemporal variation of soil salinity measured from the Urartian irrigation from 2019 to October 2021. 【Result】 The PLSR and AdaBoost models worked better using spectral indices than using polarimetric-combination indices, while RF model was superior in using the polarimetric-combination indices than using the spectral indices. The PLSR model was most accurate for predicting soil salinity at the depth of 10 cm, with the coefficient of determination being 0.70. The AdaBoost model was the best for predicting soil salinity at the depth of 2cm, with the coefficient of determination being 0.74, while the RF model worked best when using the polarimetric combination indices to predict soil salinity at the depth of 2 cm, with the coefficient of determination being 0.64. Soil with high salinity was predominantly located in the southeast, while soil in the northwest and the center were only slightly salinized. 【Conclusion】 Combing the improved spectral index and the AdaBoost algorithm is more accurate in using the inversion model to predict the salinity of the surface soil in Urartian irrigation area in the Hetao irrigation district.

Background: To assess the prevalence and characteristics of human papillomavirus (HPV) genotypes and its associated cervical lesions in Guangzhou, China, which may be useful for adjusting area-specific cervical cancer prevention and control strategies. Methods: A total of 58630 women were enrolled. Cervical specimens were collected for HPV DNA testing and/or cervical cytology. Patients with visible cervical lesions or abnormal screening results underwent further cervical biopsies. Result: The overall HPV positive rate was 14.07%. The top five genotypes in Guangzhou were HPV 52 (3.06%), HPV 16 (2.28%), HPV 58 (1.80%), HPV 51 (1.32%), and HPV 39 (1.15%). The prevalence of overall HPV and vaccine-targeted HPV genotypes showed a significantly decreasing trend from 2016 to 2019 (P 59 y age group. Among HPV-positive women, the proportions of HSIL and cervical cancer increased significantly with age (P 59 y age group, 9.35% HPV-positive cases were diagnosed as cervical cancer. HPV 16/18 was the most common cause of cervical cancer. While, the percentage of non-HPV 16/18 infection among cervical cancer patients increased over time, from 15.21% in 2015 to 26.32% in 2019 (P = 0.010). Besides that, the prevalence of non-HPV 16/18 genotypes among cervical cancer patients significantly increased with age, which peaked at the > 59 y age group (P = 0.014). Conclusion: Although the prevalence of any HPV and vaccine-targeted HPV genotypes decreased significantly with time, it is still important to follow the HPV genotypes and their associated cancer risk after the large-scale popularization of HPV vaccine. And age should be taken into consideration in screening strategies and risk-based management of cervical cancer in Guangzhou.

Chlamydia psittaci (C. psittaci) pneumonia is a zoonotic infectious disease caused by C. psittaci, which is often underdiagnosed. The application of metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) provides an unbiased method for the detection of unknown pathogens. A 46-year-old man received empirical treatment with piperacillin-tazobactam and moxifloxacin after an initial diagnosis of prostatitis and pneumonia. However, he experienced recurrent symptoms and a cough, and a chest computed tomography (CT) showed aggravated pulmonary inflammation. Upon further questioning, the patient recalled a history of contact with pigeons, and a bronchoscope alveolar lavage fluid analysis with mNGS suggested C. psittaci infection. Following treatment with doxycycline, the patient’s symptoms were rapidly alleviated, and chest CT showed pulmonary lesions absorption. The patient was followed up for 1 month without any discomfort. This case highlights that initial manifestations of C. psittaci pneumonia may present with atypical symptoms such as prostatitis. Furthermore, mNGS can be a useful tool for the detection of rare or unknown pathogens such as C. psittaci.

Increasing evidence has shown that patients with stroke are at high risks of suicide， which seriously affects their prognosis and rehabilitation. The pathogenesis of post-stroke suicide is still unclear， which may be involved with the influence of biological， psychological， social and family factors， etc. Among them， post-stroke depression （PSD） is considered to be the strongest related factor of PSD. In addition， biological factors（such as changes in brain structures and 5-hydroxytryptamine dysfunction）or age and gender， may also mediate the suicide behavior of stroke patients. In this article， the latest research status of the pathogenesis of post-stroke suicide was reviewed， aiming to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of post-stroke suicide.

This article aims to provide a review of the domestic and foreign studies on the quality indicators for evaluating the psychiatric nursing care in recent years. According to Donabedian model， the research progress of quality indicators for evaluating the psychiatric nursing care were described from the three dimensions of structure quality， process quality and outcome quality. This paper summarizes the status of the research， points out the shortcomings of existing research， and provides references for the future research on the quality indicators for evaluating the psychiatric nursing care.

ObjectiveTo investigate the dynamic changes of autophagy in infarcted cortex at different stages after ischemic stroke, and the relationship between phospholipase D1 (PLD1) activity, autophagy, and the neurological function in mice.MethodsFirstly, twenty-one male C57BL/6 mice at age of 8 weeks were used to establish ischemic stroke models, and they were randomly divided into sham surgery and ischemic stroke groups. The groups were furtherly divided into 4-, 6-, 8-, 12-, 24-, and 72-hour groups according to the onset of ischemic strok with three mice in each group. Dynamic expression and change of autophagy-related protein LC3 in the infarcted cortex were observed using Western blotting method and immunofluorescence staining. Secondly, thirty-six male C57BL/6 mice at age of 8 weeks were randomly divided into the sham surgery group, the PBS treatment group, and different concentrations of phospholipase D activity inhibitor 5-fluoro-2-indolyl des-chlorohalopemide (FIPI) treatment groups containing 0.3, 0.9, 1.8, and 3.6 mg/kg, respectively. Each group comprised six mice. The optimal FIPI concentration and its effects on neurological function and infarcted volume were assessed by adhesive removal and whisker tests and TTC staining. Furthermore, nine male C57BL/6 mice at age of 8 weeks were divided into sham surgery group, intraperitoneal administration of PBS group, and 0.9 mg/kg FIPI group. Each group comprised three mice. The effects of FIPI on changes in autophagy-related protein LC3 were examined by Western blotting. Finally, thirty-six adult male C57BL/6 mice at age of 8 weeks were divided into sham surgery group, intraperitoneal administration of PBS group, and 0.9 mg/kg FIPI treatment groups at four time points (0, 4, 8, and 12 hours) after ischemic stroke. Furthermore, the neurological functions and infarcted volume were assessed by the adhesive removal and whisker tests as well as TTC staining with six mice in each group.ResultsThe ratio of LC3-Ⅱ/β-actin in the infarcted cortex increased, peaked at 24 hours (P＜0.05), and then gradually declined after ischemic stroke. Compared with the PBS group, the administration of 0.9 mg/kg FIPI significantly decreased the ratio of LC3-Ⅱ/β-actin (P＜0.05), reduced the infarcted area (P＜0.05), and ameliorated neurological functions (P＜0.05) more than those observed in the other concentration groups. Compared with the PBS group, in addition to 0.9 mg/kg FIPI without delay, the administration of 0.9 mg/kg FIPI at 4-, 8-, and 12-hour after ischemic stroke could also decrease the infracted volume (P＜0.05) and improve the neurological function (P＜0.05).ConclusionThe change of autophagy was the most obvious at 24-hour after ischemic stroke and inhibition of PLD1 could improve the recovery of neurological function after ischemic stroke. Meanwhile, in addition to administration of 0.9 mg/kg FIPI without delay, 4-, 8-, and 12-hour after ischemic stroke could also shrink the infracted volume and improve the neurological function. The inhibition of the PLD1 could extend the therapeutic window and provide a novel therapeutic strategy for the clinical treatment of cerebral stroke.

Nano-modified multimodal and conventional Cr3C2–NiCr coatings were fabricated by high-velocity oxygen-fuel spraying deposited on CuCrZr substrates. Results showed that individual nano-modified multimodal Cr3C2–NiCr particles were composed of nano (25−180 nm), submicron (200 nm to 0.5 μm), and micron (2–4.5 μm) Cr3C2 grains, NiCr binder phases, and a tiny amount of rare earth oxide additives. The nano-modified multimodal Cr3C2–NiCr coatings maintained a unique structure: submicron Cr3C2 grains embedded in the voids formed by micron Cr3C2 grains, NiCr binder phases and nano Cr3C2 grains imbedded in the voids formed by submicron and micron Cr3C2 grains, and nano Cr3C2 grains are dispersed in NiCr metal binder phases. A few discontinuous elongated amorphous and nanocrystalline phases existed in them. The mechanical interlocking was the dominant bonding mechanism accompanied by local metallurgical bonds. Compared to the conventional coating, the multimodal coating was uniform and dense (porosity was 0.3 ± 0.12%) as well as not obvious lamellar structures, the adhesive strength was 75.32 ± 1.21 MPa, exhibiting a 65 pct increase, and the microhardness was increased by about 18%. The lower porosity and higher strength of nano-modified multimodal structure coating were mainly related to dispersion distribution and synergistic coupling effects of Cr3C2 hard grains with different scales.

Objective: Cinnamaldehyde was encapsulated in the liposome. Methods: Cinnamaldehyde was selected as the research object and the cinnamaldehyde liposomes were prepared by ethanol injection method. The effects of phospholipid concentration, ratio of phospholipid to cholesterol, ratio of phospholipid to cinnamaldehyde and injection velocity on the encapsulation efficiency, particle size and polydispersity index （PDI） of cinnamaldehyde liposomes were investigated, and the process was optimized by response surface method with the encapsulation efficiency as the index. Results: The optimum preparation conditions of cinnamaldehyde liposomes were as follows: the phospholipid concentration was 2.69 mg/mL, the ratio of phospholipid to cinnamaldehyde was 6.73, and the ratio of phospholipid to cholesterol was 5.79. Under the control of these conditions, the encapsulation efficiency of cinnamaldehyde liposome was 82.37%, and the particle size and zeta potential were 113.89 nm, and -29.07 mV, respectively. After 4 weeks of storage at 4 ℃, it still has a high encapsulation efficiency and good stability. Conclusion: Cinnamaldehyde liposomes with small particle size, high encapsulation efficiency and stable properties could be prepared by ethanol injection method.

Abstract Background Sunitinib resistance can be classified into primary and secondary resistance. While accumulating research has indicated several underlying factors contributing to sunitinib resistance, the precise mechanisms in renal cell carcinoma are still unclear. Methods RNA sequencing and m6A sequencing were used to screen for functional genes involved in sunitinib resistance. In vitro and in vivo experiments were carried out and patient samples and clinical information were obtained for clinical analysis. Results We identified a tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor, TRAF1, that was significantly increased in sunitinib-resistant cells, resistant cell-derived xenograft (CDX-R) models and clinical patients with sunitinib resistance. Silencing TRAF1 increased sunitinib-induced apoptotic and antiangiogenic effects. Mechanistically, the upregulated level of TRAF1 in sunitinib-resistant cells was derived from increased TRAF1 RNA stability, which was caused by an increased level of N6-methyladenosine (m6A) in a METTL14-dependent manner. Moreover, in vivo adeno-associated virus 9 (AAV9) -mediated transduction of TRAF1 suppressed the sunitinib-induced apoptotic and antiangiogenic effects in the CDX models, whereas knockdown of TRAF1 effectively resensitized the sunitinib-resistant CDXs to sunitinib treatment. Conclusions Overexpression of TRAF1 promotes sunitinib resistance by modulating apoptotic and angiogenic pathways in a METTL14-dependent manner. Targeting TRAF1 and its pathways may be a novel pharmaceutical intervention for sunitinib-treated patients.

The effects of precursor powder uniformity on structure and electrical properties of Gd-doped CeO2 (GDC) electrolytes were studied. The as-synthesized GDCx powders (x = 5, 10 and 15 at.%) were calcined at 600 and 1200°C and combined in mass ratios of 100:0 and 95:5 to obtain two precursor powders with different particle size distributions. Sintering of the pressed pellets was performed at 1300 and 1400°C for 10 h. Crystal structure, microstructure and electrical properties of the samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and AC impedance spectroscopy, respectively. When a smaller proportion of large particles (calcined at 1200 °C) were present in the precursor powders, sinterability of the prepared samples is slowed down, which had an adverse effect on electrical conductivity. The lower the concentration of Gd, the more significant is the adverse effect. At higher sintering temperature (1400°C), the influence of Gd concentration on microstructure and ionic conductivity is more obvious. The GDC15 sample, prepared from the precursor powder calcined at 600°C, had the highest conductivity and σasGB/σBulk ratio at 300°C.

ObjectiveTo investigate the current status of sleep quality among adult residents in urban areas of Mianyang， and to explore the influencing factors.MethodsA cross-sectional survey was conducted on 126 adult residents from three communities in Mianyang. The selected individuals were assessed using self-made general information questionnaire， Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index （PSQI）， the sleep-hygiene awareness activities subsection and sleep-hygiene practice sections of Sleep Hygiene Awareness and Practice （SHAP）. Then the sleep quality among residents of different demographic characteristics， sleep-hygiene awareness activities and sleep-hygiene practices was compared， meantime， the influencing factors of sleep quality were screened via multiple linear regression model.ResultsThe PSQI score was （7.51±4.05） among urban adults in Mianyang. Correlation analysis yielded that the sleep-hygiene awareness score was positively correlated with the daytime dysfunction dimension score in PSQI （r=0.232， P=0.009）， and the sleep-hygiene habit score was positively correlated with PSQI score， the dimension scores of sleep latency， sleep quality， sleep duration， use of sleeping medication and daytime dysfunction （r=0.188~0.362， P

The conversion of oxides into metals is one of the key steps in the dry reprocessing of spent oxide fuel using the molten salt electrorefining method. In this study, in the CaCl2-NaCl molten salt system, graphite rods were used as anodes, and the high-temperature sintered ZrO2 flakes were simulated UO2 cathode. Besides, the FFC Cambridge process conditions of electro-deoxidation to prepare metal zirconium in CaCl2-NaCl molten salt were optimized. The effects of electrolysis process conditions(cell voltage, electrolysis time, sintering temperature, and electrolysis temperature, etc.) on the preparation of Zr by electro-deoxidation was studied systematically. SEM and XRD were utilized to analyze the microstructure and phase composition of the ZrO2 cathode before and after electrolysis, respectively. The optimized process conditions are voltage of 3.4 V, electrolysis time of 12 h, sintering temperature of 900 ℃, and electrolysis temperature of 722 ℃. At the same time, the intermediate products CaZrO3 and ZrO are found in the conversion of ZrO2 into Zr.

The mechanism behind the aberrant expression of S100A6 in osteosarcoma is seldom reported so far. This study sought to explore the regulatory axis targeting S100A6 involved in osteosarcoma progression. Clinical samples collected from osteosarcoma patients were used to detect the expressions of SNHG1, miR-493-5p, and S100A6 by western bolt analysis and reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). The effects of S100A6 on proliferation and osteogenic differentiation were investigated by the CCK-8 assay, colony formation assay, Ethynyl deoxyuridine staining, matrix mineralization assay, and alkaline phosphatase assay. The potential of lncRNAs/miRNAs targeting S100A6 was identified by the bioinformatics approach, and the results were verified by the dual luciferase assay and RNA immunoprecipitation assay. Both in vitro and in vivo rescue experiments were performed to investigate the regulatory relationship between the identified lncRNAs and S100A6. The results showed that S100A6 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma. S100A6 overexpression not only increases the proliferation but also reduces the osteogenic differentiation of osteosarcoma cells, while S1006A silence exerts the opposite effects. Then, SNHG1 is identified to directly interact with miR-493-5p to attenuate miR-493-5p binding to the 3′-untranslated region of S100A6. Notably, S100A6 silence partially rescues the effect of SNHG1 overexpression on proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of osteosarcoma cells. Furthermore, the suppressive role of SNHG1 silence in the growth of osteosarcoma xenograft tumors is countered by S100A6 overexpression. Collectively, this study reveals that S100A6 plays an important role in osteosarcoma progression, and SNHG1 promotes S100A6 expression by competitively sponging miR-493-5p.

Glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) was grafted onto polypropylene (PP) nonwovens by electron-beam-induced pre-irradiation grafting, and ammonium phosphomolybdate (AMP) was physically loaded on the grafted polymer to prepare a composite material called PP-g-GMA@AMP. The loading rate of AMP was 5.72%, and the grafting rate of GMA was 32.41%. The maximum adsorption efficiency of Cs(I) by PP-g-GMA@AMP was 97.23% at pH=6. The adsorption kinetic behavior was in accordance with pseudo-second-order kinetic equation. The experimental results showed that the adsorption process using PP-g-GMA@AMP conforms to Langmuir adsorption model and the theoretical maximum adsorption capacity was 2.59 mg/g. PP-g-GMA@AMP showed good reusability and the adsorption capacity was reduced by only 9.91% after three repeated uses. PP-g-GMA@AMP showed excellent selective adsorption ability for Cs(I) in the presence of Na(I), Mg(II), and Ca(II). The distribution coefficient of Cs(I) on AMP was 120.45, while those of Na(I), Mg(II), and Ca(II) were 2.71, 1.23, and 1.84, respectively. According to the difference in partition coefficients, Cs(I) was separated from Na(I), Mg(II), and Ca(II) by dynamic column chromatography using a 0.5 mol/L NH4Cl eluent solution, and the Cs(I) effluent liquid was concentrated to one-fifth the volume of the injection solution.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to explore the mechanism of regulating the endocrine function of hyperplasia breast in rats with Mongolian Medicine Modified Sugmul-7 (MMMS-7) by Proteomics and provide an experimental basis for its development and clinical application. Methods: Ninety female SD rats were randomly divided into 6 groups: the intact group – the animal group that was injected with neither estradiol, nor progesterone, nor administered Mongolian Medicine Modified Sugmul-7; the negative control group – the group injected with estradiol and progesterone; the positive control group - injected with estradiol, progesterone and administered mastodynon 0.06 g/kg; and the treatment groups – injected with estradiol and progesterone, each in their respective dose groups. After the start of the experiment, each rat except the intact group was intra peritoneally injected with estradiol 25d and progesterone 6d at a standard dose of 0.3 mg / kg for a total of 31 days. Results: Four differential proteins were found through proteomic analysis, namely Ppp3cb, Cacybp, Gstz1, and Nmd3 and their 5 related pathways. Conclusions: The above pathways are all known to be related to the treatment of breast hyperplasia caused by endocrine disorders. Treatment with Mongolian Medicine Modified Sugmul-7 is completed through regulation of the gastrointestinal and endocrine systems.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to determine metabolomics changes in the blood of amenorrhea model rats treated with Shimshin-6, a traditional Mongolian medicine, and search the important biomarkers using the UHPLC/TOF MS platform. Methods: The influence of a traditional Mongolian Shimshin-6 preparation administered to rats with a dexamethasone induced amenorrhea model was assessed to evaluate the physiological changes and the drug's metabolites in biological samples. The metabolites responsible for the differentiation of metabolic profiles between the two groups were obtained based on a multivariate statistics variable importance in the projection (VIP) threshold of 1.0 from the PLS-DA model. The analyses were carried out using an UHPLC-TOF-MS platform. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was applied to test the significance of differences between groups. Results: The metabolic pathways were identified through the online databases Metlin and HMDB. Metabolic pathways analysis found tryptophan metabolism, phenylalanine metabolism, D-Glutamine and D-glutamate metabolism, Sphingolipid metabolism, Ubiquinone and other terpenoid-quinone biosynthesis and Fatty acid biosynthesis were mainly enriched based on the differential metabolites in rats of AG. Some of these pathways were markedly altered, such as the Tryptophan metabolism and phenylalanine metabolism pathway. Conclusions: A variety of potential biomarkers of Shimshin-6 physiological activity have been identified in the tested samples. According to the results it could be clearly seen, that the administration of this traditional medication affected the metabolism of amino acids, fatty acids and energy, to improve the condition of the animals suffering from amenorrhea.

Polycrystalline Ni-Mn-Ga-Fe fibers were prepared by melt-extraction technique. The internal stress and defects introduced by rapid solidification were modified by step-wise chemical ordering annealing. The microstructure and phase microstructure of fibers were characterized using Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and XRD diffraction technique. The phase transition behavior and two-way shape memory effect (TWSME) were tested using Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer (DMA). The results show that after heat treatment, the chemical ordering degree is increased, and the martensite twin boundaries are straight. Complete recoverable strains of parent and martensite phases during thermal cycles are achieved. During the two-way shape memory cycles, two characteristics of thermoelastic martensite transition are displayed in heat-treated fibers: reversibility and thermal hysteresis. In the thermal cycle test, the total strain reaches 1.32% when the fiber is loaded to 198 MPa. The thermomechanical tensile measurement shows that the phase transition temperature follows the Clausius-Clapeyron equation. Compared with other alloys such as Ti-Ni and Cu-Al-Ni, Fe-doped fiber exhibits a smaller strain-stress dependence, which is beneficial to the constant strain output.

Nowadays, the systems for visual information processing are significantly extending their application field. Moreover, an unsolved problem for such systems is that the classification procedure has often-conflicting requirements for performance and classification reliability. Therefore, the goal of the article is to develop the wavelet method for classifying the systems for visual information processing by evaluating the performance and informativeness of the adopted classification solutions. This method of classification uses the Haar wavelet functions with training and calculates the ranges of changes in the coefficients of the separating surfaces. The authors proposed to select the ranges of changes in these coefficients by employing the Shannon entropy formula for measuring the information content. A case study proved that such a method will significantly increase the speed of detecting the intervals of coefficient values. In addition, this enables us to justify the choice of the width of the ranges for the change of coefficients, solving the contradiction between the performance and reliability of the classifier.

Targeting BTK has profoundly changed the face of CLL treatment over the past decade. Iterative advances in the cat and mouse game of resistance and redesign have moved BTK inhibitors from covalent to non-covalent and now targeted protein degraders. However, contrary to the presumption that protein degraders may be impervious to mutations in BTK, we now present clinical evidence that a mutation in the kinase domain of BTK, namely A428D, can confer disease resistance to a BTK degrader currently in clinical trials, that is BGB-16673. Modeling of a BTK A428D mutation places a negatively charged aspartic acid in place of the hydrophobic side chain of alanine within the binding pocket of another BTK-degrader in clinical development, namely NX-2127, suggesting that CLL cells with BTK A428D also may be resistant to NX-2127, as they already are known to be with either non-covalent or covalent inhibitors of BTK. Consequently, the two BTK degraders furthest advanced in clinical trials potentially may select for CLL cells with BTK A428D that are resistant to all approved BTKis.

Inflammatory fibroid polyps (IFPs) tend to occur in the gastrointestinal tract, and they are rare and benign neoplasms. In general, IFPs often come from epithelial tissue. The gastric antrum is the most common location. Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) often shows a predominantly hypoechoic mass with well-defined borders originating from the submucosal area. Here, we report the case of a 46-year-old woman with abdominal pain who underwent computed tomography (CT), endoscopic ultrasound and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) of resected specimens; the diagnosis was ultimately an inflammatory fibroid polyp. She is currently in clinical remission.

Objective To explore the correlation between the parameters of the mandible and parameters of cervical vertebrae and craniofacial bone in class Ⅱ skeletal patients in Northeast China and to establish correlation equations expressing the relationship between the mandible and cervical vertebrae and craniofacial bone directly and quantitatively for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of orthodontics and orthognathics and for prediction. Methods The mandible, cranial facial bone and cervical vertebrae of 201 children and adolescents aged 8 to 20 years were measured using digital cranial lateral tablets. All of the cases were divided into male (n=75) and female (n=126) groups using a sensitivity analysis method based on genetic algorithms to select the craniofacial bone and cervical bone with strong sensitivity to mandible parameters and to establish relevant equations. Results Through sensitivity analysis, the parameters with the strongest correlation between the measured values of the mandible were H4 and SN, those with a strong correlation were SN-Ar, the anterior and posterior high ratio SGo/NGn, the Y axis angle and mandibular angle Ar-Go-Gn. The established equation was as follows: males: Ar-Pg=28.415+1.818×H4+0.746×SN(r2=0.056 8, P < 0.001); females: Ar-Pg=15.168+1.706×H4+0.675×SN+0.31×SN-Ar-0.29×Y axis angle (r2=0.611, P < 0.001). No significant difference was found between the predicted values obtained by the established equations and measured values (P > 0.05). Conclusion The mandibular length equation established by sensitivity analysis and genetic algorithms is statistically significant and can predict a certain degree of growth and development.

This paper presents a single-chip bits-to-antenna transmitter (TX) for >100 Gbps in 45nm CMOS SOI. The construction of the 64QAM constellation is achieved directly in the RF domain by utilizing three QPSK sub-TXs with weighted amplitude. This method significantly reduces the need to address power amplifier nonlinear effects in high-order modulation, thereby creating room for TX enhancements in both bandwidth and output power. To further improve TX performance, multi-step phase alignment strategies, and a local oscillator leakage suppression technique have been incorporated. With 40-GHz RF bandwidth, the RF-64QAM TX prototype is able to achieve a measured data rate of 120 Gbps with 15dBm effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP).
