Precipitation δ18O has offered valuable insights into the evolution of the Asian monsoon. Recent researches focusing on precipitation Δ′17O has enhanced our understanding by offering new perspectives beyond those of δ18O, revealing insights into vapor sources and continental recycling. Nevertheless, there remains a lack of interannual triple oxygen isotope data, particularly in the Asian monsoon region. In this study, we analyzed the triple oxygen isotopes and hydrogen isotopes in monthly precipitation samples collected from Chongqing in Southwest China between 2019 and 2022 A.D. Seasonal variations in δD, δ18O, δ17O, and d‐excess values were observed, with lower values during the rainy season and higher values during the dry season, highlighting the impact of changes in moisture sources and local meteorological conditions on seasonal shifts in δD, δ18O, and δ17O. While, mean Δ′17O values were higher in rainy season and lower in dry season. Notably, during rainy season, there is a negative correlation between monthly Δ′17O values and the RH of the vapor source area, as well as a positive correlation with d‐excess. Recalculated Δ′17O values based on RH of oceanic moisture source, are higher than the measured values for this period, indicating the contribution of terrigenous moisture to precipitation in SW China. Despite the importance of these changes, few studies have analyzed them using precipitation data from SW China. We conducted monthly measurements of isotopic compositions in precipitation samples collected in monsoonal SW China between 2019 and 2022 A.D. Seasonal variations in δD, δ18O, δ17O, and d‐excess revealed low values during the rainy season (May–October) and significantly higher values during the dry season (November–April). These variations are primarily attributed to different water vapor sources in distinct seasons. Moreover, we observed a negative correlation between precipitation Δ′17O and relative humidity in the source area of the water vapor during the rainy season, suggesting that Δ′17O contains valuable information about the water vapor's source area. Additionally, the relatively higher Δ′17O values observed in the rainy season imply the influence of continental recycling and evapotranspiration processes. Background: APOE ɛ4 and PICALM are established genes associated with risk of late-onset Alzheimer's disease (AD). Previous study indicated interaction of PICALM with APOE ɛ4 in AD patients. Objective: To explore whether PICALM variation could moderate the influences of APOE ɛ4 on AD pathology biomarkers and cognition in pre-dementia stage. Methods: A total of 1,034 non-demented participants (mean age 74 years, 56% females, 40% APOE ɛ4 carriers) were genotyped for PICALM rs3851179 and APOE ɛ4 at baseline and were followed for influences on changes of cognition and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) AD markers in six years. The interaction effects were examined via regression models adjusting for age, gender, education, and cognitive diagnosis. Results: The interaction term of rs3851179×APOE ɛ4 accounted for a significant amount of variance in baseline general cognition (p = 0.039) and memory function (p = 0.002). The relationships of APOE ɛ4 with trajectory of CSF Aβ42 (p = 0.007), CSF P-tau181 (p = 0.003), CSF T-tau (p = 0.001), and memory function (p = 0.017) were also moderated by rs3851179 variation. Conclusions: APOE ɛ4 carriers experienced slower clinical and pathological progression when they had more protective A alleles of PICALM rs3851179. Background: Early-life environment is related to childhood brain development and cognitive function in later life. However, the associations of early-life risk factors with dementia and cognitive impairment were still controversial.Objective: Our study aims to investigate early-life risk factors for dementia and cognitive impairment.Methods: PubMed and Cochrane Library were searched to identify prospective cohort and retrospective case-control studies exploring early-life factors for dementia and cognitive impairment. Pooled effect estimates for each factor were calculated by random-effect model.Results: Thirty-seven studies with 46,727 participants were included. The pooled results indicated significant associations of dementia with food deficiency (OR = 2.05, 95% CI = 1. 22-3.44), low education level (RR = 1.80, 95% CI = 1.60-2.02), and shorter leg length (OR = 1.19, 95% CI = 1.07-1.32). Other potential risk factors identified in the systematic review include rural residence, number of siblings, history of head trauma, early parental death or re-marriage, and poor learning ability.Conclusion: Early-life factors, including education level, leg length, history of childhood head trauma, family-related factors and learning ability, were associated with the risk of dementia and cognitive impairment in later life. Pb(Mn1/3Sb2/3)0.01(Ni1/3Nb2/3)0.495(Zr0.3Ti0.7)0.495O3+x wt% Ta2O5 (PMS-PNN-PZT, x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) lead piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by a traditional two-step solid-state reaction method. The effect of Ta2O5 content on the phase structure, microstructure, electrical properties and dielectric relaxation of PMS-PNN-PZT ceramics was investigated. The XRD patterns show that all ceramics have pure perovskite structure. Ta2O5 doping can promote the grain growth and improve electrical properties. And the ceramics have high relaxation behavior. When x = 0.4, it exhibits optimum electrical performance: d33 = 805 pC/N, kp = 66%, εr = 6838, tanδ = 1.4%, Tc = 118.5 °C, γ = 1.9618, Ec = 3.652 kV/cm, Pr = 21.91 µC/cm2. This indicates that Ta2O5 can be used as an effective dopant in PMS-PNN-PZT ceramics and the ceramics can be used as the main material for multilayer ceramic capacitors and electro-strictive actuators. (0.94 − x)K0.48Na0.52NbO3-0.06LiSbO3-xBiFeO3 (KNN-LS-xBF, x = 0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7%) lead- free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by a traditional two-step solid-state reaction method. The effect of BiFeO3 (BF) content on the phase structure, microstructure, electrical properties and dielectric relaxation of KNN-LS ceramics was investigated. The XRD patterns show that all ceramics have a pure perovskite structure. BiFeO3 doping can promote the grain growth and improve electrical properties. When x = 0.3% in KNN-LS-BF, it exhibits optimum electrical performance: d33 = 285 pC/N, kp = 54.3%, εr = 2185, tanδ = 1.92%, Qm = 66, Tc = 340 °C, γ = 1.4732, Ec = 17.76 kV/cm, Pr = 21.48 µC/cm2. The thermal decomposition of famciclovir (FCV) was measured with thermogravimetry, differential scanning calorimetry, and thermogravimetric analysis coupled with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The IR spectra, high-performance liquid chromatography, and liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry of FCV and the residues of its thermal decomposition at various temperatures were determined. The molecular bond orders were calculated using an ab initio method from the GAMESS program of quantum chemistry. The mechanism of thermal decomposition for FCV was discussed. The kinetic parameters for thermal decomposition such as activation energy Ea and the pre-exponential factor A were obtained using the Ozawa method. The prospective lifetime of FCV was estimated using the Dakin equation. The results indicated that the thermal decomposition of FCV is a two-step process. The initial decomposition temperature in either nitrogen or air is about 205 °C. The decomposition of FCV does not go through 2-amino-purine stage, 2-amino-purine, and alkane chain segment both decompose simultaneously during the first stage. For decomposition in nitrogen, the Ea and A for the initial thermal decomposition are 107.8 kJ mol−1 and 2.19 × 109 min−1, respectively. For decomposition in air, the corresponding Ea and A are 96.4 kJ mol−1 and 1.45 × 108 min−1, respectively. The FCV has good thermal stability under routine temperature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
