Robust model predictive control (RMPC) is an effective technology for controlling uncertain systems while robustly handling constraints, and its closed-loop performance heavily relies on the selection of objective functions. However, the objective functions are typically chosen to be close to the real control objectives, despite an objective function that leads to less conservative constraints often provides better closed-loop performance. In this paper, we propose an automatic tuning framework for RMPC in iterative tasks. In particular, we parameterize RMPC and develop a Bayesian optimization (BO) method to tune it by solving a black-box optimization problem. We then introduce an efficient transfer learning framework within BO, which speeds up the searching process and enhances the controller performance. The effectiveness of the proposed tuning framework is illustrated on numerical examples. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Sasajiscymnus disselasmatus (Pang & Huang, 1986) (Figs 44, 67) Chinese name: RṘḧ瓢• Pseudoscymnus disselasmatus Pang & Huang, 1986: 65 (type locality: Nanjing, Fujian, China).— Yu 1995b: 146; Pang et al. 2004: 87; Kovář 2007: 582. Sasajiscymnus disselasmatus: Iqbal et al. 2020: 383. Diagnosis. This species is closely similar to S. sagittalis sp. nov., but can be distinguished from the later by the black scutellar shield and the apex of penis with distinct membranous appendage on inner side (Figs 44a, 44g). In S. sagittalis, Scutellar shield is yellowish brown and the apex of penis is conspicuously swollen with membranous appendage on both sides (Figs 41a, 41f). Description. TL: 1.68–2.26 mm, TW: 1.23–1.66 mm, TH: 0.68–0.86 mm. Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence (Figs 44a–c). Head yellow with interocular distance distinctly greater than eye width in frontal view. Pronotum yellow. Scutellar shield black. Elytra black with yellow apices. Ventral surfaces yellow to black. Legs yellow. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, slightly recurved toward the base of ventrite (Fig. 44e). Male genitalia: Penis stout, penis capsule with stout outer arm and long inner one, apex of penis with distinct membranous appendage (Figs 44f–g). Penis guide with prominent keel at base in lateral view, then tapering towards apex; parameres about 2/3 as long as penis guide, with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide widest at base in ventral view, then gradually narrowing to blunt apex (Figs 44g –h). Female genitalia: Unknow. Material examined. Holotype: China: Fujian: ♂, Nanjing County, 7.III.1980, Liu SJ leg (SCAU). Other material (SCAU). China: Guangdong: 1♂, Shixing County, 8.VII.1989, Pang XF leg; 1♂, Yangqiu Mountains, Shimentai National Nature Reserve, 6.X.2004, Wang XM leg; 1♂, Shimen, Shimentai National Nature Reserve, 29.X.2004, Wang XM leg. Distribution. China (Fujian, Guangdong). Remarks. Yu et al. (1993) reported S. disselasmatus from Chebaling National Nature Reserve. Compared with the holotype, specimen examined by Yu et al. (1993) has penis guide widest near the base and not expanded penis apex, hence we considered it as a misidentification of S. lancetapicalis., Published as part of TONG, JUNBO, CHEN, XIAOSHENG, ZHANG, XIAONING, HUO, LIZHI, WU, GANG, PENG, ZHENGQIANG & WANG, XINGMIN, 2022, A review of the genus Sasajiscymnus Vandenberg, 2004 from China (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae), pp. 1-104 in Zootaxa 5207 (1) on pages 63-64, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.5207.1.1, http://zenodo.org/record/7328080, {"references":["Pang, X. Sasajiscymnus lewisi: Iqbal et al. 2020: 385. Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. applanatus sp. nov., but can be distinguished from the later by its parameres about 1/3 as long as penis guide, and penis guide approximately parallel sided for basal 2/ 3 in ventral view (Figs 61f–g). In S. applanatus, parameres are about 1/4 as long as penis guide. Penis guide is approximately parallel sided for basal 1/ 3 in ventral view, then slightly narrowing to blunt apex (Figs 60f–g). Description. TL: 1.51–1.78 mm, TW: 1.06–1.29 mm, TH: 0.58–0.72 mm. Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence (Figs 61a–c). Body uniformly black, except antennae, maxillary palpi, tibiae and tarsi yellowish brown. Interocular distance slightly greater than eye width in frontal view. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, not recurved toward the base of ventrite (Fig. 61d). Male genitalia: Penis slender, penis capsule with long inner arm but without outer one, apex of penis pointed (Fig. 61e). Penis guide long and slender in lateral view, widest at base, gradually narrowing to pointed apex; parameres about 1/3 as long as penis guide, with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide approximately parallel sided for basal 2/ 3 in ventral view, then tapering towards blunt apex (Figs 61f–g). Female genitalia: Coxites shortened; styli absent; spermatheca worm-like, with basal ramus and nodulus. Material examined. China: Sichuan: 1♀, Mamize Nature Reserve, 2600 m, 19–20.IX.2007, Wang XM leg; 4♂ 4♀, Heizhugou National Nature Reserve, 1900 m, 22–23.IX.2007, Wang XM leg; 1♀, Liziping National Nature Reserve, 2000 m, 26–27.IX.2007, Wang XM leg. Yunnan: 1♂ 1♀, Xujiaba, Ailaoshan National Nature Reserve, 1– 3.X.2006, Wang XM leg; 3♂, Xujiaba, Ailaoshan National Nature Reserve, 2524 m, 17.VIII.2013, Chen XS leg. Distribution. China (Sichuan, Yunnan); Japan; Vietnam. Remarks. This species was recorded in Fujian, Henan, Hubei, Shaanxi and Taiwan by Yu (2011). However, it was described as “yellowish brown head in male and black head in female”, which is a unique characteristic of S. kuriharai. This characteristic is never reported in S. lewisi and not conforms our examined specimens. According to his description, these records are probably the misidentification of S. kuriharai. Thus, it is still questionable for the existence of this species in the above five provinces, and we tentatively exclude these provinces in the distribution range., Published as part of TONG, JUNBO, CHEN, XIAOSHENG, ZHANG, XIAONING, HUO, LIZHI, WU, GANG, PENG, ZHENGQIANG & WANG, XINGMIN, 2022, A review of the genus Sasajiscymnus Vandenberg, 2004 from China (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae), pp. 1-104 in Zootaxa 5207 (1) on pages 89-90, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.5207.1.1, http://zenodo.org/record/7328080, {"references":["Kamiya, H. This species is similar to S. hamatus (Yu & Pang, 1993) in structures of the male genitalia, but can be distinguished from the later by its pronotum black with anterior margin narrowly yellowish brown (Figs 52a–b). In S. hamatus, pronotum is yellowish brown, sometimes with a black spot at base (Figs 51a–b). Description. TL: 1.17–1.92 mm, TW: 0.94–1.47 mm, TH: 0.58–0.95 mm. Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence (Figs 52a–c). Head yellow to black, interocular distance distinctly closer than eye width in frontal view. Pronotum black with anterior margin yellowish brown. Scutellar shield black. Elytra black with yellowish brown apices. Ventral surfaces black. Legs yellow to yellowish brown. Abdominal postcoxal lines almost complete (Fig. 52d). Male genitalia: Penis slender, penis capsule with long inner arm but without outer one, apex of penis pointed (Fig. 52e). Penis guide apically hook-shaped in lateral view; parameres about 1/5 as long as penis guide, with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide approximately parallel sided for basal 5/ 6 in ventral view, then gradually narrowing to blunt apex (Figs 52f–g). This species is similar to S. seboshii (Ohta, 1929), but can be distinguished from the later by the elytra with black humeral angles, abdominal postcoxal lines recurved toward the base of ventrite and more elongate penis guide (Figs 31a–d, 19g –h). In S. seboshii, humeral angles of elytra are yellowish brown, abdominal postcoxal lines not recurved toward the base of ventrite and penis guide is shorter (Figs 34a–g, 19j–k). Description. TL: 1.94–2.25 mm, TW: 1.38–1.63 mm, TH: 0.90–1.09 mm. Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence (Figs 31a–c). Head yellow with interocular distance distinctly greater than eye width in frontal view. Pronotum yellow. Scutellar shield yellowish brown. Elytra black with yellow apices and a large yellowish brown spot in the middle part. Ventral surfaces yellow to black. Legs yellow. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, recurved toward the base of ventrite (Fig. 31d). Male genitalia: Penis stout, penis capsule with stout outer arm and long inner one, apex of penis constricted with membranous appendage (Figs 31e–f). Penis guide with prominent keel at base in lateral view, then tapering towards pointed apex; parameres about 1/3 as long as penis guide, with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide widest at base, then gradually narrowing to pointed apex (Figs 31g –h). Female genitalia: Coxites elongate, triangular; styli well developed with terminal setae; spermatheca distinctly curved, with basal ramus and elongate nodulus. Type material. Holotype: China: Xizang: ♂, 52K–65K of Zhamo Highroad, Motuo County, 2800–3500 m, 13.X.2011, Huo LZ leg (SCAU).
