Abstract
- Sasajiscymnus anmashanus (Yang, 1971) (Figs 6, 63) Chinese name: ḆḤ山ḧ瓢• Pseudoscymnus anmashanus Yang, 1971: 88 (type locality: Anma Mountains, Taichung, Taiwan, China).— Yu 1995 a: 129; Pang et al. 2004: 86; Ková&rcaron; 2007: 582. Sasajiscymnus anmashanus: Yu 2011: 123.— Iqbal et al. 2020: 383. Diagnosis. This species closely resembles S. acutus Tong & Wang sp. nov., but can be distinguished from the later by the apically rounded penis guide in ventral view, and black antennae and maxillary palpi (Figs 6c, 6h). In S. acutus, penis guide is apically pointed in ventral view, antennae and maxillary palpi are yellowish brown (Figs 5c, 5h). Description. TL: 1.83–2.27 mm, TW: 1.30–1.67 mm, TH: 0.84–1.05 mm. Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence (Figs 6a–c). Body uniformly black. Interocular distance slightly greater than eye width in frontal view. Dorsal pubescence forming distinct wavy patterns on elytra. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, recurved toward the base of ventrite (Fig. 6d). Male genitalia: Penis slender, penis capsule with short outer arm and long inner one, apex of penis pointed (Figs 6e–f). Penis guide triangular in lateral view with pointed apex; parameres about 1/2 as long as penis guide, with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide widest at base in ventral view, tapering towards blunt apex (Figs 6g –h). Female genitalia: Coxites triangular; styli strongly reduced and hardly visible; spermatheca worm-like, with basal ramus and nodulus. Material examined.
