Purpose The objective of this study was to determine the effects of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the volume of trauma patients, the number of orthopedic trauma operations, and the severity of injuries. We also investigated the correlations between social distancing and these variables.Methods This was a retrospective review of trauma patient cases at a single focused training center for trauma in Korea from January 2017 to April 2021. The COVID-19 group included patients treated from January 1 to April 30 in 2020 and 2021, and the control group included patients treated during the same months from 2017 to 2019. The volume of trauma patients according to the level of social distancing was evaluated among patients treated from August 2, 2020 to November 23, 2020.Results The study included 3,032 patients who presented to the emergency department with traumatic injuries from January to April 2017 to 2021. The average number of patients was 646.7 and 546.0 in the control and COVID-19 groups, respectively. The percentage of patients injured in traffic accidents (TAs) decreased from 25.0% to 18.2% (pp=0.0002 and pp=0.0128). The proportion of patients with an Injury Severity Score above 15 and the mortality rate did not change significantly. As the level of social distancing increased, the number of trauma patients and the number of trauma injuries from TAs decreased. The number of orthopedic trauma operations also depended on the social distancing level.Conclusions The number of trauma patients presenting to the emergency department decreased during the COVID-19 period. The volume of trauma patients and orthopedic trauma operations decreased as the social distance level increased.

One of non-formal institution which applies Arabic learning practice method is Islamic Training Center (ITC), an Arabic course institution standardized the Middle East by using EL-BARQIE (special method without formula). ITC uses motto 5 in 1 including Qowa’id ‘Arabiyyah Shamilah, Qira’ah, Kitabah, Tarjamah, Muhadathah, and Ta’bir. This institution is located in Jl. Brawijaya 16 Singgahan, beside ITC mosque Pelem, Pare, Kediri. This research aims at investigating Arabic learning system in Islamic Training Center (ITC) Pare, and the outcome of the students in learning Arabic language in that institution. The finding shows that the special characteristic of ITC that is different with the others is the Middle East standard which can be seen in (1) the accent used in learning Arabic language which always uses lahjah Arabian, especially when takallum. (2) tarkib al-kalimah / sentence pattern used in Arabic language either takallum, qira’ah or kitabah must use Arabian pattern/tarkib Arab fushha, preposition, muta’addi sentence, not Indonesian pattern, but Arabian pattern. Aim This article aimed to review adverse events and complications to orthognathic surgery based upon 10 years. Material and methods This study was a retrospective investigation between 2009 and 2018. Independent variables such as sex, age, pre-operative conditions, diagnosis, type of surgery, bleeding volume, surgery duration, and hospitalization were recorded. The data regarding orthognathic surgery adverse events and complications were evaluated and statistically analyzed with a significance level of p Results A total of 891 patients were included in this study (male 39.1%, female 60.9%) with a mean age of 26.4 ± 6.09 years. A neurosensory disturbance was found as immediate post-operative sequelae as 93.5%. The four most frequent complications had a relapse (6.4%), post-operative TMD (5.7%), unfavorable osteotomy (5.5%), and infection (4.9%), which seem to be more common in males. An average blood loss was 497 ± 371 ml and the average operative time was 401 ± 109.3 min. Complication rates were statistically affected by bleeding volume (p-value = 0.01), operative time (p-value = 0.03), and type of skeletal deformity (p-value = 0.01). Conclusion Although numerous complications were recorded, no fatal complications were experienced. Bleeding time, operative time, and skeletal classification have significant influence on orthognathic surgery complications. However, a multitude of factors could be modified to reduce the complication rate and improve the result of the treatment. One of the most significant factors was the operative time.

One of the ways that the government restricts the development of regional elite sports is to seek to establish a variety of athlete development facilities. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the implementation of performance development management for athletes in the Central Java Student Sports Development and Training Center (PPLOP). The research method uses explanatory research techniques. The research was conducted at the Central Java Student Physical Education and Training Center (BPPLOP). Research data sources are individuals directly related to PPLOP, including PPLOP athletes, athletes and other related party managers, coaches, and performance development coordinators. Techniques for collecting data through observations, interviews and documents. The results show that the performance management of PPLOP athletes in Central Java has achieved the best results in performance development, education, academic development and religious development. The process of improving PPLOP Central Java performance is correct, as evidenced by the performance of athletes in sports, science, and religion. Sumber data penelitian adalah individu yang berhubungan langsung dengan PPLOP, antara lain pengurus, pelatih, koordinator pengembangan kinerja atlet PPLOP, atlet dan pihak terkait lainnya. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa penerapan manajemen kinerja atlet PPLOP di Jawa Tengah mendapatkan prestasi terbaik dalam pengembangan kinerja, pendidikan, pengembangan akademik, dan pengembangan keagamaan. Proses peningkatan prestasi PPLOP Jawa Tengah sudah baik dan benar, terbukti dari prestasi para atlet di bidang olahraga, sains dan agama. Adanya sistem promosi dan degradasi menjadi acuan bagi pelaksanaan manajemen pembinaan prestasi di sekolah maupun di lingkungan Balai PPLOP Jawa Tengah.

In addition, a series of interventions are proposed for the creation of public spaces and social facilities. The intervention on which the project is focused is intended to regenerate the Morvedre neighbourhood, performing actions on two plots located at the intersection of Sagunto Street and Ruaya Street. The project is aimed at rehabilitating and reforming certain areas in order to save the identity of the place. To this end, social facilities are planned, such as: an educational centre to teach the crafts that exist in the neighbourhood (glassblowers, carpenters, metalworkers...) and an intergenerational centre consisted of three areas: one for children, one for young people and one for the elderly. Besides, it will have a multipurpose room that could be used for events, rehearsals and classes for dance and music schools from the area. Finally, all this will be integrated through public arcaded spaces.

The objective of the study is to determine factors affecting the satisfaction and loyalty of learners to the quality of training services at the Vietnamese American Training Center (VATC) in Can Tho City. The research data were collected from 200 learners studying at VATC Can Tho. Applying structural equation modeling (SEM), the study has demonstrated four factors affecting learner satisfaction, including textbooks and materials; managerial and administrative procedures; facilities, and training programs. Besides, the study has pointed out that satisfaction positively affects learners’ loyalty to VATC Can Tho. Some managerial implications to improve learners’ satisfaction and loyalty to VATC Can Tho were suggested such as Develop training programs, Upgrade learning materials, Improve administrative procedures, and Enhance the center's facilities. [LEARNING MODEL DEVELOPMENT IN ENVIRONMENTAL-BASED TRAINING FOR TEACHERS OF SOCIAL SCIENCE PROGRAMS IN MADRASAH ALIYAH]. The fundamental problem in this research, is that learning in the Madrasah Aliyah Social Science program which starts from planning to evaluation has not been based on the environment or contextual, therefore this research uses a type of development research with development methods to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of the products being analyzed. qualitatively and qualitatively descriptive. The conclusion of this study resulted in two products, namely the development of a training learning model in the form of an environment-based training learning program design which was validated by experts, obtaining an average score of 94% and an environment-based learning guide with a blended learning pattern, an average score of 98%. The conclusion of the research stages of developing an environment-based training learning model, obtained an average score of 89.91% accompanied by environmental-based learning guide products obtained an average score of 88.25%, while the teacher's ability to prepare HOTS questions as an evaluation tool and is an integral part in this environment-based learning, the average score is 89.53%. Thusthe product of this model development is very feasible to be a system product at the Education and TrainingCenter for Technical Education and Religious Personnel

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the number of patients undergoing bilateral removal of the sural nerve in a training center and to investigate if there is a difference in symptoms after 30 months of follow-up. Methods: In this study, adult male patients were selected by convenience sampling method, who agreed to answer the questionnaire electronically and by telephone regarding symptoms after bilateral sural nerve removal. Data were tabulated and analyzed for comparison with the literature. Results: Forty patients answered the questionnaire completely, and only one patient with more than 30 months of surgery had pain (p = 0.12). Twenty-three patients (57.5%) did not have any problems secondary to bilateral sural nerve removal (p = 0.96). Conclusion: Removal of the sural nerve in plastic surgery training services is a safe and well-accepted method for patients. Level of evidence: Level IV, risk / prognostic study. Glaucoma and cataract are the consistently reported clinical consequences of Pseudoexfoliation syndrome on the eye. This study aimed to estimate the proportion of pseudo-exfoliation syndrome and associated factors in Gondar university comprehensive specialized hospital tertiary eye care and training center.Methods and Materials: Institution-based cross-sectional study was conducted from January to March 2019 at Gondar university comprehensive specialized hospital tertiary eye care and training center among 295 patients. Consecutive 295 participants aged above 40 years were involved in the study. A structured questionnaire and ocular examination were used to collect the data. Data were entered into EPI-INFO 3.5.1 and exported to SPSS version 20 for analysis. Factors associated with pseudoexfoliation syndrome were ascertained by chi-square and independent t-test. Statistical significance was considered when p-value < 0.05.Results: A total of 295 adults participated in the study with a response rate of 92.8%. The median (±IQR) age of study respondents was 64(± 9) years and 67.8% were males. The proportion pseudoexfoliation syndrome was 34.6% [95% CI: 29.2– 40.7%]. The mean IOP and mean age were significantly higher among patients with pseudoexfoliation syndrome. Age, sex, high IOP, glaucoma, outdoor work, and rural residence were significantly associated with the proportion of pseudoexfoliation syndrome.Conclusion: The proportion of pseudoexfoliation syndrome among participants aged ≥ 40 years was high. Age, sex, high IOP, glaucoma, outdoor work, and rural residence were factors having a significant association with the proportion of pseudoexfoliation syndrome.Keywords: pseudoexfoliation syndrome, Ethiopia, Gondar

The need to introduce new approaches to organizing the training of a variable composition in training centers is due to the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the need for state defense forces in well-trained junior specialists. This requires a sound approach to the issues of improving the training system, which is impossible without the use of an appropriate scientific and methodological apparatus for assessing the level of competencies of a variable composition in training centers. In the article, based on the existing scientific and methodological apparatus for assessing the effectiveness of training, a methodological approach is proposed for assessing the level of competence of military personnel of the variable composition of the training center, built on the basis of calculating a multi-criteria dimensionless assessment, which allows not only to evaluate the results of training in subjects of study, but also to take into account personal qualities significantly influencing the performance of tasks in the military specialty. The indicators that have a direct impact on the level of competence of the variable composition of the training center include: the level of training and the level of personal qualities. The assessment of the level of training is calculated according to the dependence, taking into account the level of knowledge, skills and abilities of military personnel of variable composition in the subjects provided for by the training programs. The assessment of the level of personal qualities is calculated on the basis of dependence, taking into account the individual psychological and volitional qualities of a serviceman, his motivation for service activities. This approach makes it possible to quantify the level of competence of military personnel, as well as to identify problems (miscalculations) in the organization and conduct of training, which in turn requires the development of recommendations to improve its effectiveness. The results of the study can be used in the practice of assessing the level of competence of servicemen of variable composition in training centers., Необхідність впровадження нових підходів щодо організації підготовки змінного складу в навчальних центрах зумовлено широкомасштабною збройною агресією Російської Федерації проти України та потребою сил оборони держави у якісно підготовлених молодших спеціалістах. Зазначене вимагає обґрунтованого підходу до питань удосконалення системи підготовки, що не можливо без використання відповідного науково-методичного апарату з оцінювання рівня компетентностей змінного складу в навчальних центрах. У статті на основі наявного науково-методичного апарату з оцінювання ефективності підготовки запропоновано методичний підхід щодо оцінювання рівня компетентностей військовослужбовців змінного складу навчального центру, який побудовано на основі розрахунку багатокритеріальної безрозмірної оцінки, що дає змогу не тільки оцінити результати підготовки з предметів навчання, але й врахувати особисті якості, що суттєво впливають на виконання завдань за військово-обліковою спеціальністю. До показників, які здійснюють безпосередній вплив на рівень компетентностей змінного складу навчального центру віднесено: рівень навченості та рівень особистих якостей. Оцінка рівня навченості розраховується за залежністю, яка враховує рівень знань, умінь та навичок військовослужбовців змінного складу з предметів передбачених програмами підготовки. Оцінка рівня особистих якостей розраховується за залежністю, яка враховує індивідуально-психологічні та вольові якості військовослужбовця, його мотивацію до службової діяльності. Зазначений підхід надає можливість провести кількісну оцінку рівня компетентностей військовослужбовців, а також виявити проблеми (прорахунки) в організації та проведенні підготовки, що в свою чергу потребує розробки рекомендацій з підвищення її ефективності. Результати проведеного дослідження можуть бути використані в практиці оцінювання рівня компетентностей військовослужбовців змінного складу у навчальних центрах.

The Trade Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat Perdagangan) participates in the development of competencies and skills of the Indonesian people. One of contribution is organizing webinars through the learning management system (LMS) Kudagang. As an education and training center that organizes infographic webinars, Pusdiklat Perdagangan hopes to provide the best service. Therefore, evaluation is a mandatory thing that must be done. The infographic became a webinar topic that was given to participants, both academics and professionals. To provide optimal service, Pusdiklat Perdagangan evaluates webinar activities through participant suggestions. The purpose of this study is to identify things that need to be addressed and improved in the implementation of future webinars so that the quality of services provided is optimal and identify topics and webinar materials that are really needed by the community. Suggestions from participants in the form of text are processed and analyzed using text mining. The data analysis consisted of two parts: (1) analysis of suggestions regarding the webinar activities; (2) suggestions for the next webinar topic. The results of the analysis of participant suggestions indicate several things that need to be improved in the implementation of the webinar, including the audio quality, the practice duration, the technique in delivering material, and the role of the host in guiding the webinar activities. The webinar topic suggestions given by the participants to Pusdiklat Perdagangan are advanced infographics, social media management, public speaking, effective communication, and how to write scientific articles

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of simulation-based training model in terms of improving managerial competence among madrasah heads. The research was intended to the training participants on Substantive Technical Training to S trengthening M adrasah H ead s since October 2019 - February 2020 with the cooperation of Bandung Religious Training Center , s takeholders and professional organization. Data collection techniques were conducted by test s (pre and post-test), questionnaire, observation , and structured interview. Data analysis is executed using qualitative approach. The results have shown that the training in the perspective of the process and results carried out effectively, with the average score 85 or competent. T he aspect of training process resulted 89.9 or effective, and simulation-based training model application demonstrated score 90.2 which means also effective. Despite this, the two parties to this relationship may resort to resolving the marriage complex by divorce or khula. In all cases, women enjoy legal protection during the establishment of this bond and after its end. Post-operative refractive error is one of the commonest reasons for poor visual outcome after cataract surgery especially in developing countries where the standard modern biometry equipments are not available. The objective of this study was to assess the refractive outcome of cataract surgery done at University of Gondar (UoG) Tertiary Eye Care and Training Center, North West Ethiopia.Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was done on 66 patients who had undergone manual small incision cataract surgery (MSICS) and fulfilled the inclusion criteria at UoG Tertiary Eye Care and Training Center from July 15 2019 to October 15 2019.Results: From 90 post-operatively refracted eyes, 58 (64.4%) eyes achieved a target refraction of ± 1.00 Diopter (D). The right and left eyes achieved mean post-operative refraction SE of − 0.073± 1.45D and − 0.93± 1.70 D, respectively. But only 54 (60%) eyes were implanted with the calculated IOL power and for the remaining 40% the calculated IOL was not available at the store. And the target (Good) post-operative uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) and best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was achieved in 66.7% and 82.2% eyes, respectively.Conclusion: The post-operative refractive outcome after cataract surgery at the center is low. For over one-third of operated eyes, the calculated IOL was not implanted due to the absence of the required IOL power at the store and, therefore, a wide range of IOL power should be available at the center.Keywords: cataract surgery, outcome, Gondar, Ethiopia

This study aims to determine how many variables of physical test items are dominant and effectively used in the sport of muaythai regional training center of east java 100. This type of research is quantitative with a development research approach. This research was conducted in 3 stages, namely stage I tabulating the test items that have been determined by the team of East Java experts, stage II processing data and reducing test items that do not meet statistical prerequisites, stage III factor analysis of all test items that meet statistical prerequisites. . The data is processed using the application (SPSS, in stage I all the results of the physical tests totaling 16 test items are entered into SPSS and processed by factor analysis, there are two variables reduced and not included in the next factor rotation, stage II thetest is carried out.
