Strong wind is one of the weather phenomena that can be dangerous for aviation safety. According to observation data from the Kualanamu Meteorological Station, there were 61 strong winds with speeds greater than or equal to 15 knots in 2020, which indicates a high risk of strong wind over this area. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of strong winds in the Kualanamu airport area using weather Doppler radar. The data used consisted of nine cases of the strongest winds for each month in 2020. We have tested analysis methods of radar products such as VVP, CAPPI V, and PPI on nine sample dates to determine the duration, intensity, and direction of wind speed. Additionally, we used the radar's echo pattern to identify the potential impact of cumulonimbus clouds (Cb), which trigger strong winds. Three out of nine study cases, identified as the three most significant strong winds during 2020, have been subjected to echo pattern analysis. The results showed that the strong winds occur for 40 to 70 minutes, but they mostly have a duration of about 50 minutes. Overall, strong winds occurred during the night and early morning. The radar echo typically has a range between 18 and 43 dBZ. Echo patterns generally revealed a group that extended in the shape of a squall line that moved from west to east and reversed.

This study aims to investigate challenges in achieving adequate construction readiness for building information modeling (BIM) based building projects, using Malaysia as a case study. To achieve this aim, 20 semi-structured interviews with BIM professionals were conducted using the purposive sampling method. Then, the data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The study results revealed that the challenges can be categorized into two themes: BIM-related challenges and project-related challenges. BIM-related challenges include knowledge, infrastructure, modeling, adoption, and awareness issues. Project-related challenges include funding, communication, team management, cooperation, timeline, coordination, and change order issues. These findings imply that although BIM offers numerous advantages, its implementation introduces specific challenges that differ from those faced in traditional construction projects. These challenges often revolve around technological adoption, data management, changes in project workflows, and team dynamics. Therefore, investigating the specific challenges in BIM-based construction projects is crucial for achieving project success. This study adds to the existing knowledge by providing valuable insights into the challenges faced during the pre-construction phase of BIM-based building projects. The insights can be used to develop strategies for ensuring BIM-based construction projects are ready for the construction phase.

This study focuses on conceptualization and development of a battery management system (BMS) with two main functions, battery monitoring and management, in the context of brushless direct current motors (BLDCs). The main challenge in variable estimation is to protect the battery from potential risks during the charge and discharge cycle. The new proposed resolution combines a comprehensive BMS with monitoring capabilities for charge (SoC), health (SoH), voltage, current and battery temperature. In addition, a protective mechanism is incorporated to prevent variables from overshooting safety parameters. This research uses two different methodologies for estimating SOC, coulomb counting and open circuit voltage. In experimental tests, resistance potentiometers of 1,650, 3,300 and 0 were used, with SoC estimates of 37%, 19% and 65%, while coulomb counting method has a marginal error of 1.13%. On the contrary, the open-circuit voltage method generated a SoC estimate of 0% for all potentiometer resistance, with an error rate of 0.64 %. As a result, the open circuit voltage method is chosen because of its superior accuracy compared to the coulomb counting method. The state assessment of the battery showed a value of 100% after seven cycles. In addition, a protective system has been implemented to ensure that battery variables remain within the safe thresholds throughout the charge and discharge process. Consequently, the implementation of this BMS is expected to significantly improve overall performance and extend battery life.

In the face of increasing global challenges, such as water scarcity, population growth, and environmental degradation, sustainable management of water resources and wastewater treatment is a major concern. However, sometimes missed regarding the potential impact of water system management on the environmental implications contained in the production process of water and waste treatment systems. This study sought to assess the environmental efficacy of an integrated water supply and wastewater system in Semarang City. The secondary objectives of the study were to ascertain the extent to which each stage of the system contributed to the impact categories that were analyzed. Life cycle assessment is a method to evaluation of the environmental impacts associated with water resource and wastewater management, using 1 m3 as functional unit. The stages of water use are not examined in this study. Another restriction is the absence of information about the city's untreated wastewater quantities' final destination. Water treatment plant include water withdrawal and water distribution are most impacted under the climate change environmental impact category and other impact that assess until 99%. In seven of the eight impact categories examined, power consumption is the most impactful input.

ABSTRAK: Bahan bacaan merupakan sumber informasi yang harus digali oleh para pembaca. Di masa yang serba digital ini, sumber bacaan tidak harus berbentuk cetak, banyak platform digital yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk memperoleh bahan bacaan dengan menyesuaikan tingkat kebutuhan/jenjang pembaca. Salah satunya adalah dengan memanfaatkan paltform Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa Kemendikburistek yang menyediakan bahan bacaan dengan berbagai tema versi digital yang sudah terseleksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali informasi dari salah satu bahan bacaan yang telah ditetapkan sebagai bahan bacaan literasi yang sesuai dengan tema Gerakan Literasi Nasional sebagai refleksi salah satu dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada Kurikulum Merdeka yaitu berkebinekaan global, juga untuk memperkenalkan budaya Nusantara kepada pembaca khususnya anak-anak dengan sajian cerita anak yang menarik disertai ilustrasi yang berwarna. Sumber data diperoleh dari cerita anak berjudul “Sepasang Mata” karya Veronica W. dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa refleksi berkebinekaan global yaitu mengenal dan menghargai budaya, kemampuan komunikasi interkultural dalam berinteraksi dengan sesama, refleksi dan tanggung jawab terhadap pengalaman kebinekaan, dimensi itu terefleksi pada karakteristik tokoh Kinan, Hanna, Edita, dan keluarganya. Dengan demikian, sebelum memberikan bahan bacaan kepada anak-anak, hendaknya peran orang tua, guru, ataupun orang dewasa perlu mengetahui terlebih dahulu isi buku tersebut, agar dapat disesuaikan dengan kondisi anak. Hasil refleksi berkebinekaan global pada penelitian ini diharapakan mampu meningkatkan daya tarik untuk mengenal dan menghargai budaya Nusantara yang beraneka ragam sebagai pengembangan bahan ajar. REFLECTION ON GLOBAL DIVERSITY IN THE CHILDREN'S STORY "A PAIR OF EYES" BY VERONICA W ABSTRACT: Reading material is a source of information that readers must explore. In this digital era, reading sources do not have to be in printed form, there are many digital platforms that can be used to obtain reading material to suit the needs/level of the reader. One of them is by utilizing the platform of the Ministry of Education and Technology's Language Development and Development Agency which provides selected digital versions of reading materials with various themes. The aim of this research is to explore information from one of the reading materials that has been designated as literacy reading material in accordance with the theme of the National Literacy Movement as a reflection of one of the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile in the Merdeka Curriculum, namely global diversity, as well as to introduce Indonesian culture to readers, especially children with interesting children's stories accompanied by colorful illustrations. The data source was obtained from a children's story entitled "A Pair of Eyes" by Veronica W. using a qualitative descriptive method. The results obtained are reflection on global diversity, namely knowing and appreciating culture, intercultural communication skills in interacting with others, reflection and responsibility for experiences of diversity, these dimensions are reflected in the characteristics of the characters Kinan, Hanna, Edita, and their families. Thus, before giving reading material to children, parents, teachers or adults should first know the contents of the book, so that it can be adapted to the child's condition. It is hoped that the results of the reflection on global diversity in this research will be able to increase the attractiveness of getting to know and appreciate the diverse cultures of the archipelago as an open materials development. Background: The high rate of early marriage, teenage pregnancy, and teenage mothers increases the prevalence of emotional and mental disorders, depression, parenting stress, and child stunting. Parenting coaching is among the effective ways to overcome parenting stress and improve parents’ knowledge, skills, and behaviors, thereby avoiding child stunting. However, studies on parenting coaching are not widely conducted, particularly in Indonesia. Objective: This study aimed to present the current status of parenting stress among teenage mothers and assess whether parenting coaching effectively reduces parenting stress among teenage mothers. Methods: A quasi-experimental design was used. The participants were randomly selected into two groups: the intervention group receiving parenting coaching intervention and the control group receiving standard education using a leaflet. Data were collected in June 2021 in Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Statistical Program for Social Science version 21 (Armonk, NY, USA) was employed for all statistical analyses. The practice of early marriage is a serious problem currently occurring. Even though marriage is everyone's right, in its implementation, you must still pay attention to applicable regulations. Education is essential in preventing early marriage, but in some cases, sex education is not widely conveyed in schools because it is considered taboo. This research was conducted to see an overview of early marriage, especially in the Pagerageung, Tasikmalaya, and how education, especially sex education, can play a role in preventing this. The method used is a qualitative research methodology with a case study approach with data collection techniques using four stages, including (1) in-depth interviews, (2) participant and non-participant observation, (3) documentation, and (4) literature review. The subjects in this research were 23 people, including government elements, community leaders, and subjects who married at an early age. Factors influencing early marriage include promiscuity, economics, culture, education, and religion. In this phenomenon, education has a role in providing adequate understanding and information to the community, especially in the Pagerageung area, so that the phenomenon of early marriage can continue to be reduced. Abstrak Praktik pernikahan usia dini menjadi masalah serius yang terjadi saat ini. Meskipun pernikahan merupakan hak setiap orang, namun dalam pelaksanaannya tetap harus memperhatikan sesuai dengan regulasi yang berlaku. Pendidikan memiliki peran yang penting pada pencegahan pernikahan dini, namun pada beberapa fenomena, pendidikan seks tidak banyak disampaikan di sekolah karena dianggap tabu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat gambaran mengenai fenomena pernikahan dini khususnya di daerah Pagerageung, Tasikmalaya dan bagaimana pendidikan khususnya pendidikan seks dapat berperan untuk mencegah hal tersebut. Adapun metode yang digunakanan adalah metodologi penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan 4 tahapan, meliputi (1) Wawancara in depth interview, (2) Observasi Partisipan dan Nonpartisipan, (3) Dokumentasi, dan (4) Kajian Literatur. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 23 orang, meliputi elemen pemerintahan, tokoh masyarakat, dan subjek yang menikah usia dini. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pernikahan usia dini, yaitu pergaulan bebas, ekonomi, budaya, pendidikan, dan agama. Pencapaian prestasi tertinggi tidaklah semudah yang dibayangkan, melainkan merupakan konsekuensi dari dedikasi dan kerja keras atlet selama mengikuti program pelatihan fisik dan mental. Bimbingan dari pelatih juga memiliki peran dalam mencapai prestasi tersebut. Kualitas atlet merupakan faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan atlet. Pekan Olahraga Pelajar Daerah (POPDA) menjadi ajang dalam pembinaan dan pembibitan atlet pelajar yang berpotensi. Kota Surakarta mengalami peningkatan prestasi setiap tahunnya. Keberhasilan atlet dipengaruhi oleh faktor seperti kualitas atlet, kualifikasi dan intensitas pelatih, program dan jadwal latihan, serta kompetisi dan sarana prasarana yang tersedia. Penelitian ini menjelaskan pentingnya prestasi atlet dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya, termasuk pembinaan atlet, dukungan sosial, dan sistem regulasi. Studi penelitian menggunakan Pekan Olahraga Pelajar Daerah (POPDA) di Kota Surakarta sebagai ajang pembinaan atlet pelajar di tingkat provinsi dan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan data tentang prestasi olahraga pelajar oleh Dispora Kota Surakarta. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Dispora melakukan seleksi dalam merekrut atlet, memiliki program Kelas Khusus Olahraga (KKO), dan bekerja sama dengan guru olahraga. Pelatih dengan lisensi atau sertifikat, menjadi faktor penting dalam pembinaan atlet. Keberhasilan atlet POPDA Kota Surakarta didukung oleh sarana prasarana yang berkualitas, pemberian insentif, dan reward. Fasilitas yang memadai merupakan sumber daya penting dalam pembinaan atlet Kota Surakarta, dan perlu dilakukan peningkatan pengelolaannya sesuai dengan standar nasional yang berlaku.

Rainfall variability is influenced by several annual global and regional phenomena including the influence of monsoons, El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO), Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD), La Nina, and local climates. Sea surface temperature is one of the elements that affect weather patterns in Indonesia. This is because sea surface temperature plays an important role in the evaporation process, thus affecting cloud formation and subsequently affecting rainfall. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the effect of sea surface temperatures on the onset in the Southwest Aceh region. The method used in this study is the correlation method between sea surface temperature anomalies (SST) and rainfall. The results of this study show that rainfall in the West-South region of Aceh varies greatly and has an equatorial pattern. The equatorial pattern is characterized by a rainfall type with a bimodal shape or there are two rain peaks during the year, namely around March and October. A positive anomaly in the West-South region of Aceh indicated that the rainfall at that time was higher than normal. Meanwhile, negative anomalies indicate that rainfall in the region is lower than normal conditions. The beginning of the average rainy season that occurs in the Southwest Aceh region starts on the 25th which occurs in September and ends until February. The beginning average rainy season that occurs in the West-South region of Aceh, starts on the 25th basis which occurs in September, and ends until February. The highest onset occurred in the Southwest Aceh area, which was 0,2059, and the beginning of the lowest rainy season or regression occurred in the West Aceh area, which was 0,0122. This study explores the effects of incorporating palm oil fuel ash (POFA) and fly ash (FA) as partial cement substitutes on the mechanical properties and characteristics of high-quality mortar, specifically Engineered Cementitious Composites (ECC). ECC mortar was fabricated by milling POFA waste and FA through a top-down method utilizing a ball mill. The resulting material was subjected to tests for slump flow, water absorption, compressive strength, and characterized through XRF, FTIR, SEM/EDX, and XRD analyses. FTIR analysis verified the existence of Si-O and Al-O groups within the composite made of POFA-FA ECC. XRF analysis of FA and POFA showed cementitious properties, with SiO2+Al2O3+Fe2O3 exceeding 50% and CaO surpassing 10%. SEM and XRD results indicated minimal cavity formation, suggesting a high compressive strength in the mortar. Particle size distribution analysis revealed prevalent particles in the 1.5×10−1 to 2.0×10−1 μm range. The compressive strength test after 28 days, incorporating 15% FA and 10% POFA, yielded the highest strength at 59.30 MPa. The water absorption values ranged from 1.25% to 2.67%, indicating that POFA-FA assists in the cement hydration process and also serves as a filler. As a result, the material’s density is very high, leading to fewer voids formed, thus reducing the trapped water, which significantly affects the mortar’s strength.

Phrasal verb is one aspect of English that is often avoided by EFL learners, including students in Indonesia. This is usually due to the method of learning phrasal verbs that tends to make it difficult for learners. Hence, this research tries to present how cognitive linguistics affects Indonesian students’ understanding of learning phrasal verbs. This research takes about 50 students of Padang State Polytechnic, Indonesia as the research subject. The students were divided into two groups: those who learned phrasal verbs with the traditional method and those with the cognitive linguistics method. Each group of students was taught by different lecturers who used cognitive linguistics and traditional methods. Then, the students were tested on their understanding of phrasal verbs. This study employed a quasi-experimental causal-comparative research design; this research revealed that learning phrasal verbs with the cognitive linguistics method is able to produce a significant understanding of students’ ability to understand phrasal verbs. The results of the test found that students who learned phrasal verbs with the cognitive linguistics method had a score of 80 in understanding the meaning of phrasal verbs and a score of 76.8 in applying phrasal verbs in English sentences. While the test results of the traditional method group showed less good results. In-depth interviews, and questionnaires from this research show that cognitive linguistics method helps students in understanding the meaning of phrasal verbs although there are weaknesses in applying phrasal verbs into English sentences. The implication of this research finding is that cognitive linguistics method can be an effective approach for teaching phrasal verbs to EFL students.

Assessing riverine pollutant loads is a more realistic method for analysing point and non-point anthropogenic pollution sources throughout a watershed. This study compares numerous mathematical modelling strategies for estimating riverine loads based on the chosen water quality parameters: Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Suspended Solids (SS), and Ammoniacal Nitrogen (NH3–N). A riverine load model was developed by employing various input variables including river flow and pollutant concentration values collected at several monitoring sites. Among the mathematical modelling methods employed are artificial neural networks with feed-forward backpropagation algorithms and radial basis functions. The classical multiple linear regression (MLR) statistical model was used for the comparison. Four widely used statistical performance assessment metrics were adopted to evaluate the performance of the various developed models: the root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), mean relative error (MRE), and coefficient of determination (R2). The considerable number of errors (with RMSE, MAE, and MRE) discovered in estimating riverine loads using the multiple linear regression (MLR) statistical model can be attributed to the nonlinear relationship between the independent variables (Q and Cx) and dependent variables (W). The feed-forward neural network model with a backpropagation algorithm and Bayesian regularisation training algorithm outperformed the radial basis neural network. This finding implies that, in addition to suspended sediment loads, riverine loads may be predicted using an artificial neural network using pollutant concentration (Cx) and river discharge (Q) as input variables. Other geographical and temporal fluctuation characteristics that may impact river water quality, on the other hand, may be incorporated as input variables to enhance riverine load prediction. Finally, riverine load analyses were successfully conducted to reduce the riverine load.

Background: The increased use of technology in education has prompted the investigation of innovative media that can support modern-era learning. Aim: This study aims to investigate elementary school teachers’ perceptions, based on their years of experience, regarding the use of Nearpod as an innovative medium in flipped classrooms. Setting: The research cohort comprised all elementary school teachers in West Sumatra, with 153 participants serving as the sample. Methods: The study utilised a quantitative methodology and questionnaires as the data collection technique. Results: Using Nearpod in elementary school flipped classrooms had positive outcomes. However, teachers’ years of experience did not significantly correlate with their perspectives on instructional media or Nearpod in a flipped classroom. A notable 69.3% of teachers disagreed with the use of diverse learning, indicating potential limitations in their learning resources and familiarity with new technology. Additionally, 37.3% of teachers expressed low agreement with the idea that flipped classroom-based Nearpod would help them deliver lesson materials, suggesting that this teaching model may not align with their preferred teaching style. Conclusion: The research results indicate that the duration of teaching (which may be correlated with age) does not significantly show differences in technology perception in teaching. Contribution: This study reveals a challenge in integrating innovative technology into traditional teaching. Despite positive outcomes with Nearpod in flipped classrooms, there is a displayed hesitancy among educators towards embracing diverse learning methods.

Background: Heatwaves present health risks globally but there is limited evidence on how temperature perceptions affect activities. This study aimed to examine community perceptions of heat as a potential health hazard and ascertain the current heat protection measures of the residents of the South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO) in Malaysia. Methods: In this longitudinal study, we randomly selected community members aged between 18 and 70 years who resided in Segamat district of Johor state, Malaysia. Over 21 days, we conducted three home visits to each participant. During each visit, participants completed a questionnaire consisting of Likert scale, multiple choice, and free text questions and we collected quantitative and qualitative data. These inquiries assessed the participants' perception of heat as health threat, whether or not they took heat preventive measures, and the specific protective measures they routinely employed. Descriptive data analyses were conducted and patterns of protective measures were investigated. Findings: Between March 29 and July 31, 2023, 120 participants (72 women and 48 men) completed 360 questionnaires over three home visits. Initially, 58% participants recognised heat hazards to daily activities, decreasing to 42% and 35% by visits 2 and 3. Participants took preventive measures throughout the day, which was consistently high between 1200 h and 1400 h, with 77% of participants taking preventive measures on visit 1, 82% on visit 2, and 82% on visit 3. Use of preventive measures was also high between 1400 h and 1730 h, with 77% using preventive measure on visit 1, 81% on visit 2, and 79% on visit 3. The most common protective measures were fans (used by 68–88% of participants), drinking more water (70–78% of participants), and resting (44–72% of participants). The least common were relocating to cooler places, removing clothes, and using wet towels (0–2·5%). Despite high temperatures, perceptions of heat risks decreased over time. Participants took basic protections, especially at midday, but improved literacy and affordable cooling options are needed to protect vulnerable rural populations. Interpretation: Our findings underline the need to improve heat literacy and adaptation as only half of the population assessed perceived heat as a potential health hazard and practised limited heat protective measures. Addressing climate change and health necessitates fundamental behavioural changes on the part of individuals and communities, to protect them against the adverse effects of heat. Diabetes and ulcer are the major health problems all over the world. The present study reports synthesis and bio-evaluation of 19 benzimidazole analogs in search of antiglycation, antioxidant and antiulcer agents. The synthetic analogs were characterized using 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HR-EIMS. All compounds were checked for their antiglycation, antiurease and antioxidant activities. The fluorophenyl benzimidazole analogs 12–14 strongly inhibited glycation with IC50 values ranging from 142 µM to 193 µM. The same fluorophenyl analogs (12–14) were also found to exhibit the highest antioxidant activity with IC50 values ranging from 1.2 µM to 6.6 µM which further highlights the significance of these bioactive analogs. The dihydroxyphenyl analogs 6–9 demonstrated the most potent enzyme inhibitory activity with IC50 values ranging from 3.10 µM to 5.90 µM. Molecular docking studies were performed on the active analogs to investigate their interactions with the urease enzyme and provide a plausible explanation for their observed urease inhibitory activity.

Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai macam keterampilan dasar proses membaca siswa kelas VI SDN 29 Pekanbaru. Proses membaca selama ini di kelas kurang menekankan pada keterampilan dasar membaca, sehingga pemahaman membaca sangat lemah. Padahal pemahaman membaca siswa sangat ditentukan oleh kemampuan dasar membaca siswa. Metode yang digunakan guru tidak bervariasi dan masih konvensional, sehingga metode SQ3R (survey, question, read, recite, review) digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca teks eksplanasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam terhadap siswa dan guru serta dokumentasi. Secara keseluruhan, dengan menggunakan metode SQ3R, siswa dominan diidentifikasi memiliki rata-rata 4-5 keterampilan membaca dasar. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa mempunyai daya dalam memahami teks bacaan.

The existing quality of learning media, particularly in teaching multilingual characters of Early Childhood Education, poses a challenge in education. Teachers should possess the skills to continuously innovate in creating instructional materials, including prospective teachers, namely PGSD and PGMI students. This program aims to enhance the skills of PGSD and PGMI students in developing multilingual character education media for children. The primary focus is on using children's songs as an engaging and effective educational tool. Another issue is the need for more skills among students in creating multilingual and character-based instructional media that can captivate children's interest. The ultimate goal is to improve students' skills in creating engaging and effective instructional media, providing benefits to children, and contributing positive knowledge to the general public. As a solution, this program creates a simple arrangement of children's songs with characters in three languages as instructional media for PGSD and PGMI students. In its implementation, students are equipped with the skills to create simple arrangements of children's songs with the hope that this will serve as valuable preparation for creating engaging instructional materials.

This research aims to examine the elements of dance composition in the Joget Utan traditional dance in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency. The Joget Utan dance is rich in cultural values and is a legacy from previous generations. The traditional Joget Utan dance is an integral part of the life of the local community. However, there has been no research that has studied in depth the elements of this dance composition. Therefore, this research aims to fill this gap and provide a deeper understanding of the elements involved in the Joget Utan dance. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through direct observation of dance performances, interviews with dancers and local community leaders, as well as literature study to obtain information on the Joget Utan dance. The collected data will be analyzed descriptively to describe the elements of dance composition. By following this stage, it is hoped that we can provide better insight into the richness of Joget Utan dance culture and contribute to efforts to preserve and develop this traditional dance art

Transitioning to a circular economy as an option of mitigating environmental challenges posed by traditional linear consumption patterns has garnered considerable attention. This study examines innovative approaches to circular economy principles in the context of Salatiga's domestic waste management. The aim is to conduct a thorough evaluation of various waste management technologies and their potential to contribute to a more sustainable and circular waste management system. The research utilizes a review-based technique, drawing insights from current academic literature, papers, and case studies relevant to circular economy practices and household waste management technologies. To find new methods that have been successfully implemented in a variety of cities, a comprehensive literature search is performed. The areas of Medan and Deli Serdang have complex topography, stretching from the slopes of Bukit Barisan Mountains to the east coast of North Sumatera. This condition causes Medan and Deli Serdang areas frequently form convective clouds that produce rain and lightning. This research utilizes Cloud to Ground (CG) lightning data and rainfall from 2019-2022 to analyse the characteristics and relationship between lightning and rainfall in Medan and Deli Serdang. CG lightning data is obtained from Lightning Detector equipment with a 10 km radius to avoid noise and obtain better data. Rainfall data above 50 mm/day (heavy rain) is used, which is obtained from 3 rain gauges locations. The study results showed that there was an increase in lightning events along with an increase of rainfall which showed almost the same pattern of peak activity from lightning and rainfall. The correlation between heavy rainfall and CG lightning, in the Medan and Deli Serdang areas are moderate positive, around r=0.566 for CG-, r=0.567 for CG+ and r= 0.576 for total CG. The highest correlation in Sunggal Rain Station is r = 0.947, in Deli Serdang Climatological Station is r = 0.950 and in the Kualanamu Meteorological Station is r = 0.932.

Climate variability in Indonesia is influenced by several global factors including El Niño Southern Oscillation and Indian Ocean Dipole, one consequence of climate variability is drought. The drought index is used to identify and describe the level of drought in an area, the methods used in this study are the Standardized Precipitation Index and the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index which are calculated based on climate data with a span of 24 years as many as 67 rain observation posts in North Sumatra using R Studio software. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors of global climate phenomena that affect drought in North Sumatra and its impact on rice crop productivity and analyze drought characteristics spatially and temporarily. The resulting index values are then analyzed using correlation methods to see their relationship with ENSO and IOD. The results showed that the incidence of the ENSO phenomenon had a very strong relationship with meteorological drought in North Sumatra with a correlation value range of -0.85 to -0.97, and as many as 62.5% of 32 districts experienced a decrease in rice crop productivity during El Niño with strong intensity in 2015.

The use of agile methodology in software development projects is growing rapidly among industry professionals and academia. The Unified Modelling Language (UML) conventionally accompanies agile software development to model the software requirements. The user story is fundamental and should be identified to communicate the basic requirements between the development team and the stakeholders before the UML model such as the use case diagram, class diagrams and many others can be designed. However, there are several challenges associated with this process such as poorly organised user stories, natural language complexity and high time consumption to create them. A systematic literature review is conducted to grasp more knowledge about the utilisation of natural language processing (NLP) for UML model generation. A total of 198 papers were initially found in four online databases, namely Scopus, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect and ACM Digital Library, from the period 2018-2022. After removing duplicates, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, and conducting the full-text assessment, only 20 papers are included as the primary studies. The primary studies are reviewed to discover several important pieces of information, namely the challenges of designing UML models, NLP tools and techniques used to generate UML models, UML models generated, and validation methods used for measuring the accuracy of generated models. Finally, this study discusses important elements related to UML model generation using NLP tools and techniques.

BackgroundDiabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) present a formidable challenge to both patients and health care systems. DFUs significantly reduce the quality of life for patients, prolong hospital stays, and are the cause of approximately 70,000 lower limb amputations across the globe annually. Prevention of DFUs primarily involves the optimization of blood sugar levels and the effective management of complications, particularly peripheral neuropathy. Golden Rice has been proven to lower blood sugar levels due to its beta-carotene content, and Piper crocatum (P. crocatum) has been found to be effective in reducing the risk factors of DFUs through biomolecular regulation because of its polyphenol content. ObjectiveThe principal objective of this study is to identify the efficacy of P. crocatum–enriched cookies, with Golden Rice as their primary ingredient, in preventing DFUs. The evaluation will center on their impact on the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), a pivotal factor in the development of DFUs. MethodsThis study is an experimental clinical research that follows the randomized controlled trial method and uses a single-blind design. The participants in the study are outpatients from primary health centers in Makassar, Indonesia, who have been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. The sample for the study will be randomly selected and subsequently categorized into 2 groups: the intervention group and the control group. The intervention group consumes P. crocatum–enriched Golden Rice cookies, while the control group receives cookies without these additives. The participants from both groups will consume their respective cookies (packaged identically) twice a day for 14 days. The cookies will be prepared according to a modified recipe with an emphasis on low glucose content, resulting in 51 calories per cookie, comprising 1% carbohydrates, 6% fat, 4% cholesterol, and 4% fiber, excluding gluten, sugar, and salt. They will be baked at 158°C for 20 minutes. The process involves the addition of 20% Golden Rice and 10% P. crocatum ethanol extract, both prepared via maceration with 96% ethanol. The dependent variable in this study is the expression of gelatinases matrix metalloproteinase, to be assessed at 2 distinct time points—preintervention (pretest) and postintervention (posttest)—with the evaluation conducted through the western blotting method. ResultsThe recruitment and testing phase started in January 2024. The study is scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2024. Data analysis will commence in April 2024, and the publication of the results is anticipated in the same year (2024). The study will report on the changes in primary data, encompassing gelatinases matrix metalloproteinase, as well as secondary data, including the ankle-brachial index, neuropathy score, and random blood glucose level. ConclusionsThe findings of this trial are expected to significantly impact the selection of strategies by health care practitioners to enhance diabetes self-management, particularly in the domain of therapeutic snacking, for patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. Guru-guru di MIN 3 Pekanbaru khawatir dalam melakukan tugasnya dengan pemberitaan yang beredar di media sosial. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut tim pengabdian memberikan penyuluhan hukum terkait dengan perlindungan hukum bagi guru dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Metode penyuluhan hukum yang digunakan adalah dengan metode ceramah dan menampilkan PPT. Hasil pengabdian berupa tim penyuluhan hukum berhasil memaparkan pertama tentang perlindungan hukum bagi guru dalam menjalankan tugasnya dilihat dari undang-undang No. 14 tahun 2005 tengang Guru dan dosen lalu materi yang berikutnya tentang pembatasan guru mendidik dalam islam. Penyuluhan ini sangat penting untuk memberikan informasi tentang perlindungan guru dalam menjalankan profesinya sebagai pendidik.

Ammonia (NH3) is one of the compounds found in water, and when it exceeds the threshold, it can become toxic, posing a problem for fish farmers. This research aims to reduce the ammonia (NH3) levels using activated carbon adsorbents based on nutmeg shell. The activated carbon was produced using a 1 M HCl solution as an activator with temperature variations of 600 °C, 650 °C, and 700 °C. The activated carbon obtained complies with the SNI No.06–3730–1995 standard, with characteristics of 9.23 % moisture content, 8.45 % volatile matter content, 9.71 % ash content, and 81.84 % bound carbon content. The best sample was obtained with an adsorbent mass of 6 g at 700 °C, reducing Ammonia (NH3) by 90 % with an adsorption capacity of 0.03 mg/g. Subsequently, the sample was subjected to Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX) analysis. Functional carbon groups were identified, especially at wavenumbers 3745.22 cm−1 and 3621.27 cm−1, facilitating adsorption. The sample had an amorphous structure but contained crystalline carbon structures. The highest peak observed was at 29.57° with a miller index (201). The surface of the sample exhibited pores, predominantly composed of carbon and oxygen. The adsorption mechanism of ammonia (NH3) on activated carbon occurs through intermolecular interactions. This research demonstrates the potential of a newly developed material for reducing NH3.

This Paper reviews the most recent advances in synthesizing indole alkaloids using transition metal-catalyzed methods. The essential class of natural substances known as indole alkaloids has several biological effects, including anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and anti-bacterial properties. Although there are numerous known natural sources of indole alkaloids, due to their scarcity and complexity, total synthesis has emerged as a promising technique of manufacture. Transition metal-catalyzed methods have become efficient tools for synthesizing indole alkaloids due to their high selectivity and efficiency. The various metal-catalyzed reactions that are used to synthesize indole alkaloids are discussed in this paper, including cross-coupling, cycloaddition, and oxidative cyclization reactions in last five years.

This study is aimed to investigate the prevalence of malnutrition using Royal Free Hospital Nutrition Prioritizing Tools (RFH-NPT) and the correlation between malnutrition and RFH-NPT with clinical parameters. A total of 80 cirrhosis liver patients without liver cancer were enrolled in this prospective study. This study was conducted at Selayang hospital, which is the national tertiary referral centre for liver disease in Malaysia. We administered the nutrition screening of RFH-NPT to the patients within 24 hours after admission. The utilization of the RFH-NPT resulted in a higher incidence of nutritional risk, at 73%. The RFH-NPT revealed a higher proportion of Child Pugh C patients at risk for malnutrition (46/50 or 92%, p= 0.002) and had superior capability in identifying patients with intermediate and high risk for malnutrition (35/61 or 57.3%, p=0.012) within the subset of patients with Model for End- Stage Liver Disease (MELD) scores below 15. Hence, we propose that the utilization of the RFH-NPT enhances medical professional’s capacity for early-stage prediction of malnutrition risk in patients with cirrhosis predominantly attributed to hepatitis virus infection.

Geography learning outcomes need to be measured with an effective instrument to determine the achievement of learning outcomes. This study aims to produce a geographic question model that is developed using a taxonomy of spatial thinking. The research procedure followed the ADDIE model, data were collected through expert validation of the question design and student responses. According to design experts, geography questions can be used to measure geographic knowledge, but a small improvement is needed on the component of spatial thinking, namely the using tools of representation in the form of maps or images with high resolution. The Android application that has been developed is SmartGeography. The geography questions in the SmartGeography application are valid, this can be seen from the score that is 86.63%. In addition, the SmartGeography Android application is effectively used in evaluating geography learning outcomes. This can be seen from the acquisition of a score of 87.83%. Thus, the SmartGeography application is good for people who have an interest in geography education.

A tribofilm material based on activated carbon and nanochitosan modified with silicone oil has been prepared using the sol gel method with variations in the composition of activated carbon at a mass ratio of 40% wt – 60% wt at 5% wt intervals. Sampling was carried out in two stages. The first stage of the synthesis of activated carbon from palm shells using activation of 7% H3PO4 and nanochitosan derived from shrimp shells using the ionic gelation method. The second stage was mixing the tribofilm material of activated carbon, nanochitosan and silicone oil using the sol gel method to produce a film-forming solution which was then characterized including: physical, chemical, mechanical and thermal properties. The characterization results showed that the most optimum composition was the tribofilm material of activated carbon/nanochitosan/silicone oil in S1 with a mass ratio of 40%wt activated carbon which produced a density of 0.94 x 103 kg/m3, a viscosity of 28.42 cP, and a liquid surface tension of 63.5 mN/m. While the performance characteristics of the metal surface coating produce a surface roughness of 0.162 µm for aluminum metal and 0.156 µm for copper metal, friction coefficient 0.024, wear rate 0.19 mm, thermal conductivity 0.092 W/m.K, corrosion properties 1a (slight tarnish), rate corrosion rate of 2.34 mm/yr in 3.5% NaCl medium, 4.33 mm/yr in seawater medium and 11,476 mm/yr in 3% H2SO4 medium and has good self-healing properties for 3 days on carbon steel metal surfaces with corrosion scratch treatment on 3.5% NaCl media, namely almost all the scratches/cracks covered due to frictional force from galvanic corrosion with active carboxyl, amine and hydroxyl groups with the healing agent aminopropyl siloxane (NH2-R-NH-Si-O-R) which reacts with metal ion particles (M-OH) in the formation of polymer chains for new network layers.

Coffee agroforestry has become a land use system that provides both ecological and economic benefits, so it is managed in various ways. Pruning and fertilizer management is a combination that is applied for optimal production. However, understanding the effect of combined management on soil respiration and functional microbial populations remains unclear. This study aimed to determine the effect of combining pruning and fertilizer management on soil respiration and functional bacterial populations as well as to elucidate the relationship between tested parameters. The study was conducted in UB Forest. A factorial randomized block design consisting of three factors, i.e., coffee pruning, type of fertilizer, and fertilizer doses was used. The results showed that combining three factors affected the diazotrophic bacterial population and soil respiration, which is sensitive to management changes. Coffee pruning and mixed fertilizer (inorganic + organic) application affected soil respiration and microbial populations, while the dose affected each parameter differently. The conducted study suggests that pruning management with mixed fertilizer application can substitute inorganic fertilizer as more environmentally sustainable management in coffee-based agroforestry.

Millennial generation is known as a generation active in social, political, and technological activities. Therefore, this generation highly values the aspect of justice to promote trust and willingness to collaborate, especially with the police. In this regard, this study aims to explain the correlation between trust and willingness to collaborate with the police. This study also explains the relationship of trust and the willingness of the millennial generation to collaborate with the police with procedural justice and distributive justice as moderating factors. The study involved survey data from 340 millennials who have been served by the police in West Java, Indonesia. Furthermore, data were analyzed using the Hayes Process Macro Model 2 through SPSS to test the study hypotheses. This study showed that trust have a positive impact on willingness to collaborate with the police (Coef = 0.4346, p < 0.05). Furthermore, procedural justice positively moderated the correlation between trust and willingness to cooperate with the police (Coef = 0.0920, p < 0.05). Procedural justice was found to strengthen the correlation between trust of millennials and willingness to collaborate with the police. Meanwhile, distributive justice did not moderate the correlation between trust in police and willingness to collaborate with the police (Coef = –0.0571, p > 0.05). This study is useful in developing knowledge concepts regarding factors that can improve the willingness of the millennial generation to collaborate with the police.

Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan 4 langkah, yaitu: 1) sumber data didapat dari jurnal yang terindeks Scopus; 2) metadata jurnal yang didapatkan kemudian diunduh dalam format CSV; 3) memeriksa hasil artikel dan mengambil sesuai dengan pertanyaan penelitian; 4) mengolah data yang didapatkan menggunakan aplikasi bibliometric. This study aimed to discuss project-based learning in the world of education by taking data from Scopus and processing metadata using a bibliometric application for the last three years, namely from 2021-2023. The four steps to collect data of the study are: 1) data sources were obtained from Scopus-indexed journals; 2) the obtained journal metadata was then downloaded in CSV format; 3) the researchers examined the results of the articles and took them according to the research questions; 4) the researchers processed the data using the bibliometric application. The results of the findings on previous articles show that the publication of articles on project-based learning is learning that has received considerable attention and interest in education, both at the higher education level and at the initial foundation education, particularly in 2021-2023. This research is beneficial for understanding the status of the latest research, especially in early childhood education, to determine the direction of future research.

Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang pernah melakukan pembelian minimal 1 kali produk Mie Lemonilo. Peneliti mengambil sampel sebanyak 100 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda yang diolah dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial antara Citra Merek terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Mie Lemonilo; (2) Ada pengaruh negatif antara Harga terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Mie Instan Merek Lemonilo; (3) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial antara Promosi terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Mie Lemonilo; (4) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan antara Citra Merek, Harga dan Promosi terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Mie Lemonilo.

Research is carried out by reviewing the theories, research results, then developing a learning media reference book that will be used as a teacher's guide in developing mathematics learning media for junior high school. The book that has been developed is further validated by three experts in the field of mathematical learning media. validator consists of lecturers and mathematics teachers for junior high school. The conclusion of this study is that interactive learning is the right learning medium in mathematics learning. Some interactive media that affect math learning outcomes are interactive powerpoints, learning videos, and geogebra media. for the development of learning media, a mathematics learning media reference book was developed for junior high school. References have valid criteria on aspects of the material, language, presentation of materials, and infographics.This research aims to develop reference books and establish criteria for mathematical learning media for junior high school. Research activities carried out in the laboratory produce a complex wastewater which can damage the environmental system if it is directly disposed of without treatment. A laboratory wastewater treatment prototype was designed and constructed to process the wastewater based on the previous research. The prototype is needed in the laboratory to treat the wastewater before discharged into the environment, so it can meet the wastewater quality standards. The wastewater treatment aimed to reduce the pollutant level contained in laboratory wastewater. The objective of this study is to test the efficacy of the prototype. This test was conducted using a combination process of coagulation, adsorption, and photo-Fenton methods. The pollutant parameters were descripted in the form of pH, TSS, COD, BOD, heavy metals of Cadmium, Zinc, Copper, Chromium total, Lead, and Iron. The test of wastewater treatment prototype was carried out using the optimum conditions obtained in previous studies. The best results found from previous studies were attained at laboratory scale by means of ordinary glassware. The results of the initial analysis of laboratory wastewater sample showed that the laboratory wastewater did not meet the wastewater quality standards stipulated in the Minister of Environment regulations of the Republic of Indonesia No.5 of 2014 on Wastewater Quality Standards. In this study, the laboratory wastewater was treated by applied the pre-treatment method of coagulation and adsorption, using alum and activated carbon, separately. By using the wastewater treatment prototype, the removal percentage of COD, BOD, and TSS of 31.47%, 39.90%, and 90.24%, was reached, respectively. The heavy metals content was also reduced, with the removal percentage of Cadmium of 51.30%, Zinc of 33.51%, Copper of 38.43%, Chromium total of 32.61%, Lead of 61.64%, and Iron of 45.83%, were obtained.

There were several student problems that the writer found at SMAN 2 Tilatang Kamang. First, Some students agree on using humor in the classroom, but some students disagree on using humor in the classroom. Second, Some students said that using humor in teaching English is necessary to make the atmosphere pleasant. Using humor in teaching helped them to understand the material quickly and made them enjoy the learning. Last, Some students said that the use of humor in learning English is good as long as they don't laugh too much in class because it will take up a lot of time in the learning process and cause the learning process to be not optimal. So, some students do not understand the material. This research aims to determine students' perceptions of using humor in teaching English classes. The researcher wants to determine whether students' perceptions are positive or negative. The instrument of this research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive form. The population was the Eleventh Grade at SMAN 2 Tilatang Kamang in 2020/2021, with 75 students. The researcher used the total sampling technique because the population was less than 100 students. The result of this research was taken by taking the average score of 6 types of humor in learning English, namely learning Caricature Humor (78,07%), Short Stories/Anecdotes Humor (78,53%), Special Humor (74,13%), and Unplanned Humor, Performance, Pantomime, and Gestures (73,12%). It was found that male and female students have positive perceptions of humor in teaching English. Female students had slightly better perceptions than male students (75,74%>73,81%). Thus, the result of the research showed that students supported the use of humor in teaching English class.

This article analyses the effect of Belief, Spirituality, and Interpersonal Communication on organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB). The research was conducted on seventy-two certified lecturers using path analysis. The results of the study show that there are direct and indirect effects of; 1) trust on the organizational citizenship behaviour of certified lecturers, 2) spirituality on the organizational citizenship behaviour of certified lecturers, 3) interpersonal communication on the organizational citizenship behaviour of certified lecturers; 4) belief in spirituality; 5) trust in interpersonal communication; 6) trust in organizational citizenship behaviour of certified lecturers through spirituality; 7) trust in organizational citizenship behaviour of certified lecturers through interpersonal communication. The results of this study confirm that high levels of trust, spirituality, and interpersonal communication influence any change in the organizational citizenship behaviour of certified lecturers. Therefore, these three variables must be considered in creating and improving the organizational citizenship behaviour of certified lecturers.

The formation of the AUKUS alliance by the United States, Britain, and Australia in September 2021 concerns Indonesia in maintaining stability and security in the Asia Pacific region. As a key player, Indonesia responded to AUKUS with the principle of "Free and Active" in its foreign policy. This principle allows Indonesia to maintain relations with various powers without firm expressions of support or opposition. Indonesia continues to monitor AUKUS and adopts hedging strategies to reduce risks. This effort involves increasing military capabilities and regional cooperation. Indonesia's stance includes efforts to maintain stability, act as a mediator, and participate in international forums for the sake of peace and cooperation. An approach based on " Free and Active " helps Indonesia maintain positive relations with the United States, Britain, and China, while continuing to play an active role in the stability and security of the Asia Pacific.

BackgroundMalaysia is projected to experience an increase in heat, rainfall, rainfall variability, dry spells, thunderstorms, and high winds due to climate change. This may lead to a rise in heat-related mortality, reduced nutritional security, and potential migration due to uninhabitable land. Currently, there is limited data regarding the health implications of climate change on the Malaysian populace, which hinders informed decision-making and interventions.ObjectiveThis study aims to assess the feasibility and reliability of using sensor-based devices to enhance climate change and health research within the SEACO health and demographic surveillance site (HDSS) in Malaysia. We will particularly focus on the effects of climate-sensitive diseases, emphasizing lung conditions like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.MethodsIn our mixed-methods approach, 120 participants (>18 years) from the SEACO HDSS in Segamat, Malaysia, will be engaged over three cycles, each lasting 3 weeks. Participants will use wearables to monitor heart rate, activity, and sleep. Indoor sensors will measure temperature in indoor living spaces, while 3D-printed weather stations will track indoor temperature and humidity. In each cycle, a minimum of 10 participants at high risk for COPD or asthma will be identified. Through interviews and questionnaires, we will evaluate the devices’ reliability, the prevalence of climate-sensitive lung diseases, and their correlation with environmental factors, like heat and humidity.ResultsWe anticipate that the sensor-based measurements will offer a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between climate-sensitive diseases and weather variables. The data is expected to reveal correlations between health impacts and weather exposures like heat. Participant feedback will offer perspectives on the usability and feasibility of these digital tools.ConclusionOur study within the SEACO HDSS in Malaysia will evaluate the potential of sensor-based digital technologies in monitoring the interplay between climate change and health, particularly for climate-sensitive diseases like COPD and asthma. The data generated will likely provide details on health profiles in relation to weather exposures. Feedback will indicate the acceptability of these tools for broader health surveillance. As climate change continues to impact global health, evaluating the potential of such digital technologies is crucial to understand its potential to inform policy and intervention strategies in vulnerable regions.

The β-carboline scaffold are very potent for encouraging molecular interactions with a wide range of Alzheimer’s target. Based on biological importance of carboline nucleus, we have designed a new series of carboline derivatives and screened them for acetyl cholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase inhibition. The structural interpretation of the synthesized analogs was done by spectroscopic techniques such as 1H NMR, 13C NMR. Almost all analogs of the series exhibited good to moderate inhibition activities. The most potent analog among the series was analog 2 having, three hydroxyl groups on the phenyl ring. The IC50 values for this analog was 0.10 ± 0.01 for acetylcholinesterase and 0.30 ± 0.01 for butyrylcholinesterase. To understand the interactions of this analogs with the active sites of enzyme docking study was also carried out.

This study aimed to investigate and comprehend the effects of knowledge management adoption, information technology utilization, and community service programs on university branding and their subsequent impact on the overall quality of education in private tertiary institutions (PTS) in the West Java and Banten region. The research design was quantitative, using a survey approach and a simple random sampling method to gather data from 226 lecturers from private tertiary institutions in West Java and Banten. PLS software version 3.0, based on the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach, was used to analyze the data. The results showed that knowledge management implementation had no discernible impact on university branding, as shown by a t-statistic value of 1.594 and a P-value of 0.112.

Kue kering adalah kue berukuran kecil, renyah, tipis, datar (gepeng), memiliki rasa manis dan asin gurih. Kue kering dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif makanan selingan yang praktis dan sehat atau bersifat fungsional apabila di dalam proses pembuatannya ditambahkan bahan yang dapat memberikan efek positif bagi kesehatan tubuh. Penambahan daging keong bakau menjadi pilihan untuk memperoleh kue kering yang bergizi dan dapat diterima oleh konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan karakteristik kimia dan organoleptik terbaik dari kue kering dengan penambahan daging keong bakau (Telescopium telescopium). Perlakuan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi perlakuan tanpa penambahan daging cincang dan tepung keong bakau sebagai perlakuan kontrol (A0), penambahan daging cincang keong bakau 15% (A1), tepung keong bakau 15% (A2), campuran daging cincang keong bakau 7,5% dan tepung keong bakau 7,5% (A3). Parameter yang diamati dalama penelitian ini meliputi parameter kimia yaitu kadar air, abu, protein, lemak, karbohidrat secara by difference dan mineral kalsium. Parameter fisik yang diamati meliputi ketampakan, rasa, bau, dan tekstur. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) dengan tiga kali ulangan dan uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik kimia kue kering dengan penambahan daging keong bakau menghasilkan kadar air berkisar antara 4,92-6,81%; lemak 20,7-27,68%; abu 2,4-3,06%; protein 8,46-15,46%; karbohidrat 50,6-58,3% dan mineral kalsium 0,88-6,29 ppm. Karakteristik organoleptik berkisar antara tidak suka sampai sangat suka dengan nilai tertinggi pada perlakuan penambahan daging cincang keong bakau 15% (A1). Perlakuan A1 dapat direkomendasikan sebagai perlakuan terbaik dalam pembuatan kue kering dari daging dan tepung keong bakau dari segi nilai gizi dan organoleptiknya.

The ecological crisis is one problem that has not yet found the right solution. This study intends to provide a solution to solve the ecological crisis by designing a project-based ecoliteracy learning trajectory to improve students’ ecological intelligence. This research is a design research which comprises three stages, namely: preliminary design, experimental design, and retrospective analysis. The research subjects were students from the Social Science Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Parepare. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and observation guidelines. The study found that the trajectory of ecoliteracy learning goes through five learning stages, namely: identifying social ecological problems, planning the project design, preparing a schedule, observing social ecological problems to carry out the project, and present a social ecology project. An increase in ecological intelligence can occur because in this learning, students gain learning experiences that bring them closer to their surroundings so that they can grow their empathy for the environment. This learning combines textual and contextual learning. At the beginning, students are invited to gain a lot of knowledge by reading articles related to environmental problems. After that, they made observations in the surrounding environment to identify various environmental problems, their causes, affects, and solutions. The learning trajectories can be used by teachers in the learning process to improve students’ ecological intelligence. Kajian mengenai penerapan warna dalam sebuah notasi musik belum banyak dijumpai di Indonesia. Pembelajaran piano dasar pada umumnya menggunakan notasi balok tanpa warna yang seringkali membuat anak usia prasekolah kesulitan dalam menerapkannya. Terbitnya buku metode Bukumusikku pada tahun 2020 yang menggunakan warna dalam notasinya merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi kejenuhan yang dialami oleh anak-anak usia prasekolah dalam pembelajaran piano dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis fungsi notasi berwarna dalam sebuah pembelajaran piano dasar pada anak usia prasekolah. Metode yang digunakan merupakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara pada guru-guru di seluruh Indonesia yang telah memakai Bukumusikku selama lebih dari satu tahun, observasi di Jogja Music School dan Vocaganza, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman. Hasil yang didapat adalah warna berfungsi sebagai sarana dalam meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman anak dalam membaca notasi balok pada pembelajaran piano dasar. Warna dalam sebuah notasi juga membantu memudahkan anak untuk berlatih instrumennya secara mandiri, walaupun pemahaman secara menyeluruh terhadap keterampilan dasar bermain piano tidak bergantung pada notasi berwarna melainkan proses pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru.

Financial Technology (Fintech) is a set of financial services, tools, platforms, and ecosystems that make financial products and services easier and cheaper to access. One example of the application of Fintech in financial transactions is Bareksa. User acceptance of Bareksa may be influenced by various factors, to find out more about that, this research was carried out. The purpose of this study is to find out how the perception of user acceptance and what factors influence users to use Bareksa. This study uses the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model as the theoretical basis. The population and sample in this study were Bareksa users and the sampling technique used was quota sampling by obtaining 120 pieces of data. The research method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the bootstrap technique because the processed data is not normally distributed. The results of this study are user acceptance of Bareksa is influenced by factors of Business Expectations and Behavioral Intentions, while the factors of Performance Expectations, Social Influences, and Facility Conditions do not affect user acceptance to use Bareksa.
