The Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas have a long and complex tectonic evolutionary history. Cratons and blocks, such as northern India, Lhasa, Qiangtang, Qaidam and Central Qilian, and their in-between orogenic belts constitute the main part of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. During the Cambrian Period, most of these cratons and blocks were on the northwestern periphery of Gondwana, and were associated with the surrounding blocks, e.g. Arabian, Central Iran, Afghanistan, Tarim, Alxa, North China, South China and Sibumasu through the Proto-Tethys Ocean. The Cambrian stratigraphic sequences on these stable blocks are composed of mixed siliciclastic and carbonate rocks deposited in the shallow-water marine environments, and contain the trilobite assemblages of shelf facies. The Cambrian stratigraphic sequences in the Qilian tectonic belts, however, are characterized by the intermediate-basic igneous rocks and silicates formed in the Proto-Tethys Ocean, and contain the trilobite assemblages of deep-water slope facies. Combining with previous data, field observations and newly discovered fossils through funding by the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research, the general characteristics of the Cambrian strata in different tectonic units of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas have been summarized in this paper. Furthermore, efforts have been made to subdivide and correlate the Cambrian strata across these areas by utilizing available biostratigraphic and geochronological data. As a result, a comprehensive litho- and biostratigraphy chart has been compiled. Finally, from the biogeographic perspective, this paper also provides a brief overview of the Cambrian paleogeographical reconstruction of the major tectonic blocks, and discusses the problems associated with the evolution of the Proto-Tethys tectonic belt. Using first principles calculations based on the density functional theory and the structural, electronic, and optical properties of the substitution of K elements by Li+, Na+, Mg2+, and Ca2+ in KH2PO4 (KDP) crystals are investigated in depth. This study provides insight into the structural properties of crystals, with particular emphasis on internal chemical bonding effects. It further discusses the impact of H and O defects on the bandgap and optical properties of KDP crystals. Detailed analysis of structural characteristics and comprehensive examination of the effects of chemical bonds contribute to a deeper understanding of the effects of defects on the lattice and electronic structure, revealing potential alterations and their underlying mechanisms. Our investigation focuses on the regulatory role of different defects on the bandgap and optical properties. These comprehensive analyses provide a more thorough understanding of the impact of defects on the properties of KDP crystals, establishing an essential research foundation for further exploration of nonlinear optics crystal potential applications. The lower Cambrian trilobite Eodontopleura Chien and Lin in Yin and Lee 1978 from South China was once thought to be an ancestor of the post-Cambrian trilobite Odontopleurida due to its unique odontopleurid-like glabella. Here, we revise this genus as an oryctocephalid based on the articulated exoskeletons found recently in the Balang Formation (Cambrian Series 2, Stage 4) of South China. Phylogenetic analysis supports that Eodontopleura represents a typical example of trilobite convergent evolution, suggesting that even the most exclusive features may have been repeated in the evolutionary history of trilobites, which additionally reminds us of the universality of convergence and its possible misleading effect on trilobite taxonomic studies. Intelligent systems provide a wide range of smart services such as data analytics, mining and recommendation. Since the efficacy of intelligent algorithms are assured by the large volume of data which contain user-related sensitive information, how to make the best use of these data without leaking the private information becomes a primary challenge for intelligent systems. Ciphertext testing allows a system to test if the ciphertexts encrypted by different public keys correspond to the same plaintext and are suitable for providing privacy preserving calculation in intelligent systems, but conventional schemes lack the verification mechanism. To better solve the problem, in this paper, we present a new paradigm named conditional public key encryption with equality test (CPKEET). This paradigm allows a user to conduct ciphertext testing only if he holds the valid credentials generated by a designated issuer server. This property deals with the verification mechanism for data privacy protection in intelligent algorithms. We give the generic construction of this paradigm and instantiate a CPKEET scheme by proposing a round optimal attribute-based encryption with conditional equality test (RO-ABE-CET). We define the concrete algorithms and a detailed evaluation of RO-ABE-CET. The western Mongolian Lake Zone was a Neoproterozoic to early Paleozoic volcanic arc where tuffs, lavas, fossiliferous siliciclastics, and carbonates accumulated during the early Cambrian. An uppermost Cambrian Series 2 (upper Stage 4) trilobite assemblage is described here from the Burgasutay Formation representing a continuous lower Cambrian succession at the Seer Ridge of the Great Lake Depression. The new assemblage is dominated by dorypygids and consists of 13 trilobite genera belonging to nine families including Catinouyia heyunensis new species. These fossils comprise the youngest and richest lower Cambrian trilobite assemblage in Mongolia. The composition of the Lake Zone fauna suggests its biogeographic affinity with the Siberian Platform and Altay-Sayan Foldbelt, but the presence of inouyiids also implies a connection of this region with East Gondwana. Nonlinear optical crystals have been a key material in lasers due to their excellent frequency conversion properties. The search for new nonlinear crystals has been extremely active due to the inherent drawbacks of existing nonlinear crystals, such as the low laser damage threshold of infrared nonlinear crystals and the phenomenon of two‐photon absorption. The stability of a material can be characterized by calculating the formation energy, and machine learning (ML) is currently the most mainstream tool to explore materials. In this paper, the digital features of nonlinear crystals are established by using only the component information. Based on the low‐variance and cross‐validated recursive feature elimination (RFECV), 11 features with strong correlation are obtained for model training. Among them, the two features related to electronegativity account for 71.44% of all features, and become the most critical factor for the formation energy predicted by the model. Three ML regression models have been proposed to predict the formation energy of nonlinear crystals. Among them, the gradient boosting regression model shows excellent prediction performance with R2 = 0.939, RMSE = 0.205, and MAE = 0.132 eV per atom. The rapid appearance of major animal groups and complex marine communities during the Cambrian explosion is recorded in large part in Burgess Shale-type lagerstätten. However, the restricted temporal and spatial distribution of known lagerstätten continues to hinder the formation of a comprehensive perspective on Cambrian evolutionary faunas. Here we describe the Linyi Lagerstätte (ca. 504 mya), a new Cambrian Miaolingian lagerstätte from the Zhangxia Formation in Shandong Province, North China. The Linyi Lagerstätte contains a variety of well-preserved soft-bodied fossils, among which the non-trilobite arthropods, particularly the mollisoniids and radiodonts, are the most important groups. The new assemblage is remarkable for its excellent preservation of arthropod limbs, eyes and guts, as well as for its close similarity in taxonomic composition to Laurentian lagerstätten. The distinctive Linyi Lagerstätte holds great promise for providing additional insights into the morphological disparity, community structure and paleogeographic range of marine faunas during the middle Cambrian (Miaolingian). In this paper, the thermal stresses arising from thermal expansion and the adsorption forces between the oxide film and the substrate are calculated from the one-dimensional heat conduction equation. Comparing the magnitude of the two, the laser cleaning conditions are obtained, and relevant models such as plasma shock wave pressure are established. The plasma plume, surface morphology, and elemental composition of aluminium alloy oxide film removed by continuous-nanosecond combined laser with different nanosecond pulse delays were experimentally investigated. At total laser fluence of 3630.47 J/cm2 (continuous laser fluence of 3628.73 J/cm2 and nanosecond laser fluence of 1.74 J/cm2), the removal effect is better with the increase of pulse delay, and the best removal effect is achieved when the pulse delay is 600 ms. Based on the experimental results, the mechanism of oxide film removal by combined lasers with different pulse delays was discussed, and at least two mechanisms of thermal stress against adsorption and plasma shock wave breaking the oxide layer were present to act. • Clean the aluminum alloy oxide film using a combination of continuous and nanosecond lasers. • The experiment recorded the plasma propagation distance and motion speed during the cleaning process. • Analyze the macroscopic morphology and elements before and after cleaning. Hyoliths are extinct enigmatic organisms of early lophotrochozoan affinity known globally from the Palaeozoic Era and were especially diverse and abundant in the Cambrian Period. However, the commonly incomplete preservation of hyolith exoskeletons and our limited knowledge of their soft anatomy makes their ecological and biological aspects unclear. Konservat-Lagerstätte are crucial windows to unlock the mysteries of hyoliths. Here we report a new occurrence of exceptionally preserved hyolithid hyoliths from the middle Cambrian Mantou Formation (Miaolingian, Wuliuan) in Shandong Province, North China. The preserved soft organs of the new species Novakotheca weifangensis sp. nov. include a U-shaped gut and possible pharynx, oesophagus, stomach and digestive gland, which provide significant new information for the reconstruction of the digestive system of hyolithids. Two taphonomic modes of hyoliths described herein are recognized: soft tissue preservation through pyritization and three-dimensional shell preservation through phosphatization. Morphological variations due to different preservational pathways in the same species are revealed, highlighting the taphonomic bias on taxonomy. The ecological association between hyoliths and small brachiopod epibionts is a direct example of species interactions, providing insights into the ecological structures and adaptability of early animals during Cambrian time. Aiming at the problem that the search efficiency of key vulnerable nodes in large-scale networks is not high and the consideration factors are not comprehensive enough, in order to improve the time and space efficiency of search and the accuracy of results, a key vulnerable node discovery method based on Bayesian attack subgraphs and improved fuzzy C-means clustering is proposed. Firstly, the attack graph is divided into Bayesian attack subgraphs, and the analysis results of the complete attack graph are quickly obtained by aggregating the information of the attack path analysis in the subgraph to improve the time and space efficiency. Then, the actual threat features of the vulnerability nodes are extracted from the analysis results, and the threat features of the vulnerability itself in the common vulnerability scoring standard are considered to form the clustering features together. Next, the optimal number of clusters is adaptively adjusted according to the variance idea, and fuzzy clustering is performed based on the extracted clustering features. Finally, the key vulnerable nodes are determined by setting the feature priority. Experiments show that the proposed method can optimize the time and space efficiency of analysis, and the fuzzy clustering considering multiple features can improve the accuracy of analysis results. [Display omitted] The Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KH 2 PO 4 : KDP) of ferroelectric phase is a polarized structure that can be used for nonlinear optical transformation. Using the generalized gradient approximate (GGA), we study and predict the crystal structural trends, electronic structures, charge densities, and optical properties of KDP crystals with paraelectric (PE) and ferroelectric (FE) phases under pressures ranging from 0 to 20 GPa. We have studied how pressure affects the structural and electronic properties of KDP. It is found that under high pressure, KDP undergoes a transition from Fdd 2 structure to I -42 d structure. The calculations indicate that when the hydrostatic structural pressure of the ferroelectric KDP is applied to 11.36 GPa, the KDP has a paraelectric phase structure. The 11.36 GPa is the critical pressure value at which the structure undergoes phase transition. We further showed that as the pressure increases, the lattice size and ion displacement undergo a strong distortion. Surprisingly, the band gap of KDP greatly increases with the increase of pressure. The results show that high pressure enhances the compactness of the KDP system and enhance the laser damage threshold, which can open a new way for high pressure manipulation of frequency doubling materials in optoelectronic applications. Green ammonia production system driven by renewable electricity will be under frequent dynamic operation due to the fluctuation of renewable energy. The nonlinear dynamic model of a green ammonia synthesis system is developed and the dynamic responses of PEM (proton exchange membrane) electrolysis subsystem, PSA (Pressure swing adsorption) subsystem and ammonia synthesis subsystem during the start-up process and under the fluctuation of renewable electrical current are analyzed. The start-up dynamic results show that the hydrogen production rate of PEM electrolysis system is positively correlated to the current. The nitrogen output of PSA system is affected by the adsorption time, adsorption pressure, bed length, and air velocity. A start-up period of 300 min from the warmed-up state to the design state can maintain the temperature rise rate of the ammonia synthesis reactor at approximately 40 K/h. The dynamic results under step fluctuations of electrical current show that the PEM electrolysis subsystem and the PSA subsystem response fast compared to the ammonia synthesis reactor and buffer tanks. Using large buffer tanks to smooth the fluctuation allows the system to slide with the variation of renewable current to some extent, resulting in a higher outlet ammonia fraction when the current increases. Different volume ratios of the hydrogen tank to the nitrogen tank volume can lead to different variations of the hydrogen/nitrogen ratio. PID controllers can effectively maintain the bed temperatures, hydrogen/nitrogen ratio, and pressure of the ammonia synthesis reactor at their set points despite fluctuations in renewable electrical current. The hurdiid radiodont Cambroraster is characterized by a prominent horseshoe-shaped head carapace, which bears conspicuous posterolateral spinous processes and covers half of the body length, and a pair of frontal appendages possessing rake-like endites. Here we report the discovery of characteristic central and lateral elements as well as a possible appendage endite for Cambroraster from the Cambrian Wuliuan Mantou Formation of North China. This discovery suggests that Cambroraster had dispersed over a wide biogeographic range and expands the geographic range of Hurdiidae. The increasing discoveries of exceptionally preserved fossils in the Upper Shale Member of the Mantou Formation indicate that this horizon is a promising Burgess Shale–type Lagerstätte. The arthropod Sidneyia Walcott, 1911 is a remarkable animal of the Burgess Shale biota (Cambrian Miaolingian, Wuliuan; British Columbia, Canada), which has not been confidently reported from other Cambrian Konservat-Lagerstätten. Here we report the discovery of Sidneyia cf. inexpectans from the Wuliuan Mantou Formation of North China, which substantially expands the known palaeogeographical distribution of this genus. Our discovery suggests that Sidneyia had much greater dispersal ability than hitherto thought. It also confirms the presence of exceptionally preserved fossils in the Wuliuan Mantou Formation, one of the rare Burgess Shale-type deposits of North China. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we consider a strong global search algorithm which exhibits strong exploration ability in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-aided networks. UAVs in wireless communication have aroused great interest recently due to its low cost and flexibility in providing wireless connectivity in areas without infrastructure coverage. Artificial bee colony algorithm is a powerful approach for such a scene. However, due to its one-dimensional and greedy search strategy, it still suffers slow convergence speed. In the traditional version, three types of bees, including employed bees, onlooker bees, and scouts, are employed and they cooperate with each other to find the best food source position. Though different roles, these three types of bees play, there is no difference of division within the internal of each type of bees. Considering this phenomenon, this paper proposes a modified artificial bee colony algorithm with intellective search and special division (ABCIS) to enhance its performance, where different employed bees and different onlooker bees use different search strategies to search for food sources. Besides, the greedy selection method is also abandoned and the food sources' positions are updated at each iteration. Under this circumstance, the whole population's experience is fully utilized to guide bee's search. Finally, to testify the proposed algorithms' competitiveness, a series of benchmarks are adopted, and the experimental results demonstrate its superior performance among other state-of-the-art algorithm in UAV-aided networks. Pressure induced cavitation is a promising heat dissipation technology since it enables phase-change heat transfer at relatively low temperature. In this study, the sustainability properties of induced cavitation in protruding structure are studied by the Lattice Boltzmann Method. The simulation results suggest that a typical cavitation process is composed of four stages: 1st: cavitation appears in front of inflow liquid, 2nd: bubble shedding, 3rd: cavitation area gradually stretches towards downstream, 4th: cavitation area reaches equilibrium steady state. The flow pattern varies as the increase of inlet velocity. Only inlet velocity greater than "critical inlet velocity" can cavitation bubbles exist perpetually in protruding structure. The value of the critical inlet velocity decreases as the increase of width ratio and the resulting cavitation number falls to 1.8–2.1. The main mechanism for cavitation in protruding structure is pressure drop, rather than shear force. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Attribute based proxy re-encryption (ABPRE) combines the merits of proxy re-encryption and attribute based encryption, which allows a delegator to re-encrypt the ciphertext according to the delegatees’ attributes. The theoretical foundations of ABPRE has been well studied, yet to date there are still issues in schemes of ABPRE, among which time-bounded security and key exposure protection for the re-encryption keys are the most concerning ones. Within the current ABPRE framework, the re-encryption keys are generated independently of the system time segments and the forward security protection is not guaranteed when the users’ access privileges are altered. In this paper, we present a key-insulated ABPRE scheme for IoT scenario. We realize secure and fine-grained data sharing by utilizing attribute based encryption over the encrypted data, as well as adopting key-insulation mechanism to provide forward security for re-encryption keys and private keys of users. In particular, the lifetime of the system is divided into several time slices, and when system enters into a new slice, the user’s private keys need are required to be refreshed. Therefore, the users’ access privileges in our system are time-bounded, and both re-encryption keys and private keys can be protected, which will enhance the security level during data re-encryption, especially in situations when key exposure or privilege alternation happens. Our scheme is proved to be secure under MDBDH hardness assumptions as well as against collusion attack. In addition, the public parameters do not have to be changed during the evolution of users’ private keys, which will require less computation resources brought by parameter synchronization in IoT. ORC is a good solution to recover the cold exergy of LNG (liquefied natural gas) and the thermal exergy of low grade heat simultaneously. The optimal working fluids and parameters change greatly with different configurations and heat source temperatures. In this paper, three different ORC configurations: SORC (single-stage ORC), PTORC (parallel two-stage ORC) and CTORC (cascade two-stage ORC), combined with DEC (direct expansion cycle) are analyzed and compared. Up to seven key parameters of sixty four fluid combinations under four heat source temperatures are optimized by the particle swarm optimization. The results show that PTORC is more suitable for lower heat source temperatures and CTORC performs better for higher heat source temperatures. PTORC+DEC with ammonia/ethane as the fluid combination yields the maximum efficiency of 17.36% for the heat source temperature of 50 °C. CTORCs without DEC, also with ammonia/ethane as the fluid combination, achieve the maximum efficiencies of 19.49%, 21.69% and 24.37% for the heat source temperatures of 100, 150 and 200 °C, respectively. The optimal turbine inlet temperatures are usually their upper bounds and the optimal condensation temperatures are the normal boiling temperatures of the fluids. NG (Natural gas) distribution pressure varies in a wide range in different applications and has significant effect on system exergy efficiency. RC (Rankine cycle) and DEC (direct expansion cycle) can utilize the cold and pressure exergies of LNG (liquefied natural gas), respectively. In this paper, SRC (single-stage RC), PTRC (parallel two-stage RC) and CTRC (cascade two-stage RC) with and without DEC are optimized by Particle Swarm Optimization and compared to obtain the optimal configurations for different NG distribution pressures. Propane, propylene, ethane and ethylene are adopted as the working fluids. The results show that the addition of DEC could increase the exergy efficiency by lifting the evaporation temperature of LNG. CTRC + DEC with propane/ethylene and CTRC + DEC with propane/ethane as the working fluid achieve the largest exergy efficiencies of 23.89% and 18.25% at NG distribution pressures of 1 MPa and 2 MPa, respectively. PTRC + DEC with propane/ethane is the optimal system with maximum exergy efficiencies of 15.18%, 13.24%, 11.7% and 10.4% at NG distribution pressures of 3, 4, 5 and 6 MPa, respectively. PTRC + DEC with ethane as the working fluid in both cycles is a generally suitable system for all NG distribution pressures with high efficiency and only one type of working fluid. [Display omitted] The electronic structure and optical properties of Na 2 Bi 2 (SeO 3) 3 F 2 crystal are calculated under uniaxial, epitaxial, and hydrostatic stress based on the first principles of density functional theory. The crystal structures of the materials are composed of isolated [BiO x F y ] polyhedrons and [SeO 3 ] tetrahedrons. The stability of the crystal was confirmed by the cohesive energies and Ab initio molecular dynamics (AIMD). The band gap is 3.93 eV without strain, the maximum band gap is 4.04 eV and the minimum band gap is 2.33 eV under epitaxial stress of −2.61 % and hydrostatic pressure of −9 GPa, respectively. It is found that there is a band gap transition from direct to indirect when uniaxial strain and hydrostatic pressure are applied. This change has been explained by analyzing the near-band-edge orbitals energy. The strain also affects the optical properties of the crystal Na 2 Bi 2 (SeO 3) 3 F 2. In particular, hydrostatic pressure of −9 GPa causes a minimum increase of transmittance of about 10 % and a maximum increase of about 30 %. Decreasing the condensation pressure of organic Rankine cycle (ORC), which is usually limited by ambient pressure, can greatly increase the system efficiency. In this paper, the condensation pressure is extended from traditional ambient condensation to vacuum condensation. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is used as the cold sink to generate vacuum condensation pressures between 0.001 MPa and 0.1 MPa. Nine substances with no or low flammability are chosen as the working fluids. The system main parameters are optimized with the objective of maximum exergy efficiency. The results show that the exergy efficiency of R227ea increases from 18.87% to 26.03% as the condensation pressure decreases from 0.1 MPa to 0.001 MPa. For some substances, however, their efficiencies turn to decrease as the condensation pressure is approaching 0.001 MPa and their optimal condensation pressures are different. The working fluids share the same optimal condensation temperature of around −90 °C under the studied conditions. R227ea is a generally good substance because of its higher critical temperature to match with heat source and lower triple point pressure (temperature) to reach lower condensation pressure (temperature). The condensation pressure always has opposite effect on exergy destructions of condenser and steam generator, as well as on direct expansion turbine and ORC turbine. • Improvement of ORC is studied by breaking the barrier of ambient pressure. • Vacuum condensation can greatly improve the exergy efficiency of ORC system. • Optimal parameters under different vacuum condensation pressures are provided. • R227ea is a generally good substance for most conditions. • Vacuum pressure has opposite effect on exergy destructions of condenser and SG. To study the heat distribution in the chief heated parts and cooling water for each cylinder in a mining truck diesel engine, a working process model of the diesel engine coupled with cooling system was established. Engine test results shows that the error of the model is less than 5%. The temperatures of each cylinder head, piston, cylinder liner and cooling water flowing around the cylinder liners and cylinder heads were calculated with the coupled simulation model. Results show that: the temperatures of chief heated parts are not uniform, so as the cooling water's. The surface temperature of the fifth piston is the highest and the maximum temperature difference is 40.7 °C among the pistons. The temperatures of the first cylinder head and cylinder liner are the highest, and the maximum temperature difference are 169.6 °C and 129.6 °C among them. The cooling water temperature of the fifth cylinder head and cylinder liner are the highest, which reach 108.6 °C and 105.3 °C under the external characteristic condition of 1400 r/min, 15.3 °C and 12 °C higher respectively than the diesel engine outlet water temperature which is 93.3 °C. Aiming at the combustion, emission and mining truck engine adaption for oxygenated fuel, a numerical model for diesel and B20D10 oxygenated fuel was established with CFD software. The impact of fuel supply advance angle and maximum fuel supply amount were calculated as well. Result shows that compared with diesel, the application of B20D10 oxygenated fuel leads to a lower temperature in the engine cylinder, the NOx generation timing is later and soot emissions is significantly reduced. Power performance of the mining truck engine increases and soot emissions decrease as the fuel supply advance angle increases, yet mechanical loads and NOx emissions deteriorate. The power decline problem of diesel applied with oxygenated fuel could be solved by increasing maximum fuel supply amount. As maximum fuel supply amount increases by 10%, the maximum power of diesel engine applied with oxygenated fuel increases by 4% compared with the engine applied with diesel, and the soot emissions also decrease by 40%. Authentication is especially significant in IoT since the identity of the connected object needs to be verified before carrying out interaction processes with the various IoT data. The involvement of data has raised the concern about the risk of secure data sharing, which becomes a huge challenge when deploying IoT applications into real applications. In this paper, we present a time-bounded secure attribute-based online/offline signature with constant message size (TS-ABOS-CMS). Our scheme achieves high efficiency by introducing online/offline signing method and maintaining the communication overheads at a constant level. In addition, we adopt the key refreshing mechanism to provide time-bounded security protections for IoT terminals. We design the concrete algorithms of TS-ABOS-CMS and present its security proof. By performance assessment in terms of theoretical analysis and experiments on hardware, our TS-ABOS-CMS is demonstrated to be equipped with beneficial efficacy and appropriate to be deployed for data authentication in IoT scenarios. Abstract: A solar transcritical CO2 power cycle for hydrogen production is studied in this paper. Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is utilized to condense the CO2. An exergy analysis of the whole process is performed to evaluate the effects of the key parameters, including the boiler inlet temperature, the turbine inlet temperature, the turbine inlet pressure and the condensation temperature, on the system power outputs and to guide the exergy efficiency improvement. In addition, parameter optimization is conducted via Particle Swarm Optimization to maximize the exergy efficiency of hydrogen production. The exergy analysis indicates that both the solar and LNG equally provide exergy to the CO2 power system. The largest amount of exergy losses occurs in the solar collector and the condenser due to the great temperature differences during the heat transfer process. The exergy loss in condenser could be greatly reduced by increasing the LNG temperature at the inlet of the condenser. There exists an optimum turbine inlet pressure for achieving the maximum exergy efficiency. With the optimized turbine inlet pressure and other parameters, the system is able to provide 11.52kW of cold exergy and 2.1L/s of hydrogen. The industrial waste heat parameters, like flow rate and temperature, usually fluctuate in a certain range due to the variation of upstream industrial process. However, the heat recovery systems are usually designed not under the fluctuation range but under a specific point, therefore, the most reasonable design condition of the waste heat should be estimated based on the fluctuation ranges. A single pressure waste heat recovery system was studied in this paper. Static models were developed for system design and dynamic models were established to simulate the system transient performance when the temperature or flow rate of exhaust gas fluctuates. Systems designed at different exhaust gas parameters were operated under the same fluctuation condition to find out which one could generate the maximum net power. The fluctuations of temperature and flow rate of exhaust gas were studied separately. The results show that systems designed at the upper boundary of fluctuation range of exhaust gas could generate more power. In the case of temperature fluctuation of exhaust gas, the optimal turbine inlet pressure obtained by dynamic analysis is 7.9% lower than that of static analysis. A SDN (Software-Defined Network) separates the control layer from the data layer to realize centralized network control and improve the scalability and the programmability. SDN also faces a series of security threats. An intrusion detection system (IDS) is an effective means of protecting communication networks against traffic attacks. In this paper, a novel IDS model for SDN is proposed to collect and analyze the traffic which is generally at the control plane. Moreover, network congestion will occur when the amount of data transferred reaches the data processing capacity of the IDS. The suggested IDS model addresses this problem with a probability-based traffic sampling method in which the genetic algorithm (GA) is used to approach the sampling probability of each sampling point. Abstract: Aiming at constructing a delay and delay variation bounded Steiner tree in the real-time streaming media communication, in this paper, we discuss a multicast routing algorithm based on searching a directed graph (MRASDH). During the process of the construction of the multicast tree, some nodes and links in the network topology do not affect the outcome of the constructed tree. Therefore, based on the thought of shrinking the search space through deleting these non-relative nodes and edges to the utmost, the ant algorithm is utilized to generate a directed sub-graph of the network topology for each destination node, in which each node owns a bounded out-degree. And all these sub-graphs can be merged into a new directed graph that serves as the new search space. In the new space, the simulated annealing algorithm is applied to obtain a multicast tree that satisfies the condition for the optimization. The performance analysis and simulation results demonstrate that this algorithm can effectively construct a delay and delay variation bounded multicast tree. Abstract: Supercritical CO2 power cycle shows a high potential to recover low-grade waste heat due to its better temperature glide matching between heat source and working fluid in the heat recovery vapor generator (HRVG). Parametric analysis and exergy analysis are conducted to examine the effects of thermodynamic parameters on the cycle performance and exergy destruction in each component. The thermodynamic parameters of the supercritical CO2 power cycle is optimized with exergy efficiency as an objective function by means of genetic algorithm (GA) under the given waste heat condition. An artificial neural network (ANN) with the multi-layer feed-forward network type and back-propagation training is used to achieve parametric optimization design rapidly. It is shown that the key thermodynamic parameters, such as turbine inlet pressure, turbine inlet temperature and environment temperature have significant effects on the performance of the supercritical CO2 power cycle and exergy destruction in each component. It is also shown that the optimum thermodynamic parameters of supercritical CO2 power cycle can be predicted with good accuracy using artificial neural network under variable waste heat conditions. Sensor-cloud combines the merits of WSN with cloud computing and has been deployed in many practical applications. Data security is the prerequisite for the implementation of a sensor-cloud system, but conventional security mechanisms cannot fully satisfy the several new security demands arisen in this scenario. To address the challenge of flexible and secure data sharing, in this paper, we design an attribute based data access management scheme for sensor-cloud (ABDM-SC). We take the advantages of attribute based cryptography and hash proof primitive to realize fine-grained access control and efficient user authentication. The data captured by the sensors are labeled by attributes and can only be accessed by users processing the valid credentials. During the data sharing procedure, the cloud side and user side only need to conduct one round of interaction. In this study, we present the evaluation of two modified single-stage Rankine cycles (RC) and two two-stage RCs to provide a guidance for configuration selection under different working conditions. Moreover, a regenerative-reheat RC, which is the combination of the modified single-stage RCs, is proposed to utilize the cold energy of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and the thermal energy of low grade heat. The key parameters of these five configurations using eight working fluids are optimized with exergy efficiency as the optimization objective. The results show that the modified single-stage RCs are usually better than the two-stage RCs since they have simpler configurations with similar or higher efficiencies. The regenerative-reheat RC performs even better under most working conditions and it achieves the maximum efficiency of 24.57% by using ethane as the working fluid under the heat source temperature of 180 °C and the pipeline pressure of 3 MPa. The addition of direct expansion cycle can improve the exergy efficiencies of most fluids and configurations under lower pipeline pressures. However, the improvements decrease greatly for fluids with low normal boiling point temperatures (NBPTs) and especially under higher pipeline pressures. As to the fluid selection, high critical temperature and low NBPT are both important for reheat RC and parallel two-stage RC. NBPT weights more than critical temperature for regenerative RC and regenerative-reheat RC. Besides, wet working fluids are more suitable for reheat RC while dry and isentropic fluids are more suitable for regenerative RC and regenerative-reheat RC. The diversification of the earliest echinoderms is "explosive" in both space and time. Lepidocystids are the most basal blastozoans and their earliest known occurrences (Cambrian Series 2) provide crucial evidence on the dispersal of early echinoderms. Here we report a new lepidocystid Vyscystis ? spinosa sp. nov. based on well-preserved specimens from the Cambrian (Series 2, Stage 4) Mantou Formation in North China. Vyscystis ? spinosa sp. nov. is characterized by a long aboral imbricate cup, flattened tessellate oral surface and coiled brachioles. The aboral cup is composed of imbricate plates with nipple-shaped ornamentation. Vyscystis ? spinosa sp. nov. documents the first occurrence of lepidocystids in North China Block and thus contributes to increase the taxonomic diversity and global distribution of early blastozoans. Nonlinear optical crystals (NLO) are regarded as catalytic materials for photon coupling due to their characteristics of high conversion efficiency, tunability, and ease of manipulation. We aim to find superior performing NLO crystals by precisely estimating their bandgaps. Our approach involves utilizing compositional, structural, and orbital data as input features, leveraging models based on the Random Forest regression (RFR), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGB), and Gradient boosting regression (GBR) regression algorithms. Notably, the RFR regression model in our research exhibited exceptional predictive performance, attaining an R2 value of 0.823, with an RMSE of 0.639 eV and an MAE of 0.470 eV per atom. Our model works well on a small dataset. Moreover, we incorporated Shapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) analysis to elucidate the rationale behind predictions by assessing the contribution of each feature to the bandgap. To verify the reliability of our model, we selected three traditional crystals and conducted first-principles electronic structure calculations. We compared the predicted values from our model with those computed using the Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof (HSE) hybrid functional, ensuring an error margin of approximately 0.5 eV, thus confirming the precision of our model. The electrolysis of seawater has become a preferred method for hydrogen production since the current shortage of freshwater resources, offering an effective strategy to address the energy crisis. Nevertheless, this technology is limited by the following two factors: (i) low stability of catalytic materials at high-current density and (ii) accelerated corrosion rate of the electrode due to high concentrations of chloride ions (Cl−). Herein, an ultrafine phosphorus (P) and ruthenium (Ru) co-doped cerium dioxide (CeO2) self-supporting electrode (P, Ru–CeO2) was constructed via a high-pressure treatment strategy. Under the oxygen vacancies (Ov) in the CeO2 support and the anionic protective layer formed by the P–O bond, the electrode exhibits exceptional catalytic activity and durability in saline-alkali water, which only requires 291 mV to reach 1000 mA cm−2 in 1 M KOH + 1.5 M NaCl electrolyte. Besides, the electrode could operate stably at 1000 mA cm−2 over 100 h without significant attenuation, which can reach the level of industrial water electrolysis. Hurdiidae, a clade of Radiodonta that has attracted widespread attention in recent years, is notable for their massive tripartite cephalic carapace and a wide variety of feeding habits. Although the Hurdiidae has a cosmopolitan distribution in the Cambrian, their Miaolingian occurrences are restricted to Laurentia. Here we describe a new hurdiid radiodont, Cordaticaris striatus gen. et sp. nov., based on well-preserved specimens from the middle Cambrian (Miaolingian, Drumian) Zhangxia Formation in Shandong Province, North China. This new taxon is characterized by a heart-shaped central element with linear ornament, frontal appendages equipped with nine blade-like endites including seven subequal elongate endites, a node-bearing 'peytoia'-type oral cone, and a trunk covered with rows of setal structures. Cordaticaris not only enriches the taxonomic diversity of Hurdiidae, but also further documents the great morphological disparity of hurdiid sclerotized body elements. The discovery of soft-bodied fossils in the Zhangxia Formation also stresses the great potential of the Miaolingian strata of North China for the preservation of non-biomineralized organisms. Organic Rankine cycle (ORC) is the most commonly used power generation cycle that is adopted in this paper to make full use of the cold exergy of liquefied natural gas (LNG). As the heat exchangers are mainly responsible for the exergy destruction of the system, two improvement techniques: supercritical system and unconventional condenser, are proposed to decrease the exergy destructions in steam generator and condenser. The performances of ten preselected working fluids are tested by optimizing five key parameters at three heat source temperatures. The results show that using the supercritical system can improve the system efficiency for fluids with low critical temperatures by reducing the exergy destructions in steam generators. Using the unconventional condenser can greatly improve the system efficiency by decreasing the exergy destruction during the LNG regasification process of most fluids, barring a few wet expansion fluids. The improvements offered by both techniques become more obvious as the heat source temperature increases. However, combining the two techniques only improves the performance for fluids with low critical temperatures, and does not work for most fluids. The highest efficiency is always achieved by the subcritical system with an unconventional condenser at each heat source temperature. When the heat source temperatures are 100 °C and 150 °C, R290 obtains the highest efficiency values of 17.89% and 21.26%, respectively. At 200 °C, R600a achieves the highest efficiency of 25.35%. Two-stage Rankine cycles draw more and more attention with the increasing trade of LNG (liquefied natural gas) and the recovery of both the cold exergy of LNG and the thermal exergy of low temperature heat source. To figure out the best configuration of two-stage Rankine cycles, three mostly studied configuration, cascade two-stage ORC (organic Rankine cycle), parallel two-stage ORC and two-condensation ORC are optimized and compared under different heat source temperatures and different NG distribution pressures. Ten substances are selected as the working fluids. The evaporation, condensation and expander inlet temperatures of both ORCs and the LNG regasification pressure are optimized to obtain the maximum exergy efficiency. The results show that both the increase of heat source temperature and the decrease of NG distribution pressure can improve the exergy efficiencies greatly. The increase of heat source temperature not only increases the optimal key parameters but also affects the ranking of optimal fluids, while the increase of NG distribution pressure only affects the optimal parameters. Different from conventional Rankine cycles, there is also an optimal condensation temperature to match the heat absorption line of LNG and it increases with increase of the NG distribution pressure. The LNG regasification pressure is a key parameter which determines the proportion of power outputs between ORCs and direct expansion cycles. The thermodynamic performances of parallel two-stage ORC and two-condensation ORC are almost the same, which are obviously better than that of cascade two-stage ORC. Both parallel two-stage ORC and two-condensation ORC with ammonia as the working fluid achieve the maximum efficiency of 30.54% under the heat source temperature of 200 ℃ and the NG distribution pressure of 3 MPa. Two-condensation ORC is the optimum configuration with both good thermodynamic and economic performances. The lowest electricity production cost of two-condensation ORC achieved in this paper is 0.033$/kW·h. The crystal structural trends, electronic structure, magnetism and ferroelectric polarization of TmNiO 3 at pressures from 0 to 10 GPa are predicted using density functional theory (DFT) plus Hubbard U study. We investigate how the Hubbard interaction U , and the pressure are affecting the multiferroic of TmNiO 3. Magnetic moment and band gap strongly depend on Hubbard interaction U. The calculations show that TmNiO 3 has an antiferromagnetic with propagation vector k = (1/2, 0, 1/2) and a spontaneous polarization of 0.84 μC/cm2 when Hubbard U was 8 eV. We further show that the ferroelectric properties of TmNiO 3 are attributed to the charge and spin ordering. A strong redistribution of spin density and ions displacement are found with an increase in pressure. Surprisingly, as the pressure increases, the band gap of TmNiO 3 are greatly enhanced and the multiferroic properties are reduced. Attribute based encryption is suitable for data protection in data outsourcing systems such as cloud computing. However, the leveraging of encryption technique may retrain some routine operations over the encrypted data, particularly in the field of data retrieval. This paper presents an attribute based date retrieval with proxy re-encryption (ABDR-PRE) to provide both fine-grained access control and retrieval over the ciphertexts. The proposed scheme achieves fine-grained data access management by adopting KP-ABE mechanism, a delegator can generate the re-encryption key and search indexes for the ciphertexts to be shared over the target delegatee's attributes. Throughout the process of data sharing, the data are transferred as ciphers thus the server and unauthorized users cannot acquire the sensitive information of the encrypted data so the privacy and confidentiality can be protected. The complex evolutionary history of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas, including the continental blocks (Indian, Lhasa, South Qiangtang, Tarim, Olongbuluk, Central Qilian, Alxa, North China, Yangtze, Central Iran and Oman) and the orogenic belts between them, has long been the frontier in Earth science research. The Cryogenian and Ediacaran strata are extensively distributed in these blocks. Specifically, relatively complete Cryogenian and Ediacaran successions have been discovered in Oman, Indian, Yangtze, and Tarim blocks, while only the Ediacaran successions have been reported in Iran, the South Qiangtang, Central Qilian, Alxa, and North China blocks. Based on previous studies together with the integration of new materials and advancement obtained through the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research, this review aims to synthesize a correlative stratigraphic framework of the representative Cryogenian and Ediacaran sequences from the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas. Furthermore, the Cryogenian and Ediacaran biotas and major geological events in these areas are comprehensively discussed in aspects of current research status. The results indicate that, in general, Ediacaran fossils of each area exhibit distinct features in preservation and assemblage composition, but the typical late Ediacaran fossils Cloudina and Shaanxilithes have been reported from most of these areas. In addition to the two global Cryogenian glaciations, late Ediacaran glaciogenic deposits are extensively recorded in the areas within and around the northern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau (including the North China, Alxa, Central Qilian, Olongbuluk, and Tarim blocks, and the North Qilian Accretionary Belt), as well as central and southern Iran. However, further research is required to determine the age, distribution, and origin of these late Ediacaran glaciogenic deposits. Meanwhile, the middle Ediacaran DOUNCE/Shuram Excursion is widely documented in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas. The available data show that, after the break-up of the Rodinia supercontinent, most of the continental blocks in the areas were located along the northern margin of East Gondwana and a few (such as North China) were located between the Gondwana and Laurentia. In general, the paleogeographic evolution of most of these blocks during the Cryogenian and Ediacaran remains disputatious, necessitating further research to resolve the controversies surrounding their paleogeographic reconstruction models during this critical time interval. Owing to the intricate output characteristics of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) and the associated electrochemical reactions, they typically represent a complex system with numerous parameters. Consequently, there is a critical need to develop a more suitable output characteristic model. Thus, we propose the Weighted Neighborhood Trust Grey Wolf Optimizer (WNT-GWO) algorithm to address the problem of parameter identification in PEMFC models. WNT-GWO integrates a neighborhood trust model to enhance information exchange among the grey wolves. Additionally, we refine the grey wolf position update formula through dynamic weighting, facilitating a more comprehensive exploration of the search space and improving convergence speed. These adjustments mitigate the risk of converging into local optima, contributing to a more reliable and robust parameter identification process. The efficacy of the proposed algorithm is validated through 23 benchmark functions, demonstrating its superiority over the standard grey wolf algorithm. Finally, we apply the WNT-GWO algorithm to identify the parameters of PEMFC models. Structure-property correlations are a major challenge in the investigation of magnetoelectric multiferroic materials. We have systematically investigated the intrinsic role of ↑↑↓↓-type order in magnetoelectric coupling in Y2NiMnO6. The calculated results reveal that the ferromagnetic (FM) order is the magnetic structure of the ground state and the total energy of ↑↑↓↓-type order is close to that of the FM order. The electric polarization is calculated to be 0.78 μC/cm2 along the crystallographic b-axis for UNi = UMn = 3 eV. In addition to the exchange-striction mechanism, a more noticeable contribution from redistribution of polarized charge is found in our study. Magnetic hysteresis loops show the ferromagnetism in Y2NiMnO6, which can be explained by magnetic field-induced spin flop transition from the E-type to FM order. Our DFT + U theoretical investigations also proposed a switching adiabatic path of magnetoelectric coupling, in which the 180° reverse of electric polarization is driven by rotation of spins. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) networks have shown great promise as the Internet of Things (IoT) takes center stage. BLE devices featuring low-power are suitable for IoT applications. Meanwhile, the standard neighbor discovery protocol provides a wide range settings of parameters, which chould meet the variety of IoT applications. Whereas the different settings also have a great influence on neighbor discovery latency. This paper presents a theoretical model based on the Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT) for analyzing the neighbor discovery latency in BLE networks, where the scanner and the advertiser are modeled in 3-distributed channels. The neighbor discovery latency in BLE is derived by applying the CRT to each specific channel. Background: Attribute based encryption has been widely applied for secure data protection in PHR systems. However, since different users may share the same attributes in the system, a user may leaks his private key for illegal data sharing without being detected. This will add more threat to the private data stored in PHR system. Finding: To help users achieve higher efficiency and more secure data sharing in mobile PHR system, based on previous works, we study the traitor tracing mechanism in attribute based cryptosystem and propose a high efficient attribute based encryption with user accountability in mobile PHR system. If a malicious PHR user exposes his private key for illegal data sharing, his identity can be accurately pinpointed by the system manager. During the whole process of data sharing, no bilinear pairing operations are needed, hence this will the mobile terminal devices from heavy computation burden. Conclusion: As a further study, in this short report, we show that using a novel attribute based encryption with user accountability can help users achieve better efficiency and more secure data sharing in mobile PHR system. Background and purpose: Previous studies have revealed abnormal regional homogeneity (ReHo) in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD); however, there is little consistency across the findings within these studies, partly due to small sample size and great heterogeneity among participants between studies. Additionally, few studies have explored the association between ReHo aberrance and clinical symptoms in individuals with ASD. Methods: Forty‐eight adolescents with high‐functioning ASD and 63 group‐matched typically developing (TD) controls received functional magnetic resonance imaging at rest. Group‐level analysis was performed to detect differences in ReHo between ASD and TD. Evaluation of symptom severity in individuals with ASD was based on the Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC). Voxel‐wise correlation analysis was undergone to examine the correlations between the symptom severity and ReHo map in individuals with ASD within brain areas with ReHo abnormalities. Results: Compared with the TD controls, individuals with ASD exhibited increased ReHo in the bilateral anterior cingulate cortex, left caudate, right posterior cerebellum (cerebellar tonsil), and bilateral brainstem and decreased ReHo in the left precentral gyrus, left inferior parietal lobule, bilateral postcentral gyrus, and right anterior cerebellum (culmen). The correlation analysis indicated that the ReHo value in the brainstem was negatively associated with the ABC total scores and the scores of Relating factor, respectively. Conclusions: Our findings indicated that widespread ReHo abnormalities occurred in ASD, shedding light on the underlying neurobiology of pathogenesis and symptomatology of ASD. Background: Previous studies have indicated abnormal gray matter volume (GMV) in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD); however, there is little consistency across the findings within these studies, partly due to small sample size and great heterogeneity among participants between studies. Additionally, few studies have explored the correlation between clinical symptoms and GMV abnormalities in individuals with ASD. Here, the current study examined GMV alterations in whole brain and their correlations with clinical symptoms in a relatively large and homogeneous sample of participants with ASD matched typically developing (TD) controls. Methods: Forty-eight adolescents with high-functioning ASD and 29 group-matched TD controls underwent structural magnetic resonance images. Voxel-based morphometry was applied to investigate regional GMV alterations. The participants with ASD were examined for the severity of clinical symptoms with Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC). The relationship between GMV abnormalities and clinical symptoms was explored in ASD group using voxel-wise correlation analysis within brain regions that showed significant GMV alterations in individuals with ASD compared with TD controls. Results: We found increased GMV in multiple brain regions, including the inferior frontal gyrus, medial frontal gyrus, superior frontal gyrus, superior temporal gyrus, occipital pole, anterior cingulate, cerebellum anterior lobe, cerebellum posterior lobe, and midbrain, as well as decreased GMV in cerebellum posterior lobe in individuals with ASD. The correlation analysis showed the GMV in the left fusiform was negatively associated with the scores of sensory factor, and the GMV in the right cerebellum anterior lobe was positively associated with the scores of social self-help factor. Conclusion: Our results indicated that widespread GMV abnormalities of brain regions occurred in individuals with ASD, suggesting a potential neural basis for the pathogenesis and symptomatology of ASD. Resource allocation in logistics poses intricate challenges due to its complexity and non-linearity. This paper presents a novel warehouse human resource scheduling model that combines queuing theory and integer programming. We introduce the Adaptive Quantum Differential Evolution (AQDE) algorithm, inspired by quantum computation, to address the optimization complexities. Our approach demonstrates superior global convergence accuracy and speed compared to other DE variants and evolutionary algorithms. Abstract: A new combined power and refrigeration cycle is proposed for the cogeneration, which combines the Rankine cycle and the ejector refrigeration cycle by adding an extraction turbine between heat recovery vapor generator (HRVG) and ejector. This combined cycle could produce both power output and refrigeration output simultaneously, and could be driven by the flue gas from gas turbine or engine, solar energy, geothermal energy and industrial waste heats. Parametric analysis and exergy analysis are conducted to examine the effects of thermodynamic parameters on the performance and exergy destruction in each component for the combined cycle. The results show that the condenser temperature, the evaporator temperature, the turbine inlet pressure, the turbine extraction pressure and extraction ratio have significant effects on the turbine power output, refrigeration output, exergy efficiency and exergy destruction in each component in the combined cycle. It is also shown that the biggest exergy destruction occurs in the heat recovery vapor generator, followed by the ejector and turbine. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Given that current Internet of Things (IoT) applications employ many different sensors to provide information, a large number of the Bluetooth low energy (BLE) devices will be developed for IoT systems. Developing low-power and low-cost BLE advertisers is one of most challenging tasks for supporting the neighbor discovery process (NDP) of such a large number of BLE devices. Since the parameter setting is essential to achieve the required performance for the NDP, an energy model of neighbor discovery in BLE networks can provide beneficial guidance when determining some significant parameter metrics, such as the advertising interval, scan interval, and scan window. In this paper, we propose a new analytical model to characterize the energy consumption using all possible parameter settings during the NDP in BLE networks. In this model, the energy consumption is derived based on the Chinese remainder theorem (CRT) for an advertising event and a scanning event during the BLE NDP. In addition, a real testbed is set up to measure the energy consumption. The measurement and experimental results reveal the relationship between the average energy consumption and the key parameters. On the basis of this model, beneficial guidelines for BLE network configuration are presented to help choose the proper parameters to optimize the power consumption for a given IoT application.
