The increasing number of new tourist attractions and corrent tourism trends are forcing tourist villages to think about developing throungh innovation. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the structural equation model (SEM)-Amos to test the model quantitatively with 115 respondents. This study concludes that transformational leadership is a source of creativity in the context of rural tourism leadership. Knowledge management is an important resource to survive and follow trends amidst the shocks of the proliferation of new tours. Innovation is essential for the resilience of tourist villages and survival strategies. Transformational leadership and knowledge management have a positive and significant effect on organizational innovation; organizational innovation strengthens and significantly and positively influences the relationship between transformational leadership and knowledge management, influencing organizational performance. Transformational leadership and knowledge management positively and significantly affect organizational performance.

This study aims to analyze the factors which affect employee performance; islamic work ethics by using affective commitment and job satisfaction as intervening variables. Based on the research problem, there are how to improve employee performance through affective commitment and job satisfaction, and the factors which affective commitment and job satisfaction, so the answer is by the Islamic Work Ethics variable. This study is conducted on 200 employees of cross sectors and cross professions working in various fields. Data is processed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) by the help Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) program. The results show that Islamic Work Ethics has a positive effect on employee performance, by using affective commitment and job satisfaction as intervening variable

The creative economy paradigm emphasizes the importance of ideas and intellectual property as an entrepreneurial prerequisite for being able to survive in fierce global competition. Today, an entrepreneur is required to create products with unique differences in power over competitors to stay alive in the industry. Organizational external and internal resources such as Information Technology (IT) and local culture are strategic asset sources that have an important role in building business performance. This study departs from the gap of research that is still inconclusive about the effect of IT on Organizational Performance (OP). The research direction offers novelty concepts from the perspective of resourcebased entrepreneurship theory. This paper offers the concept of Inimitable-based Innovative Entrepreneurship (IBIE),which in its ontology IBIE is the application of innovation distribution of product attributes sourced from the local nuances of design so that it becomes an iconic product that is difficult to emulate. The direction of this study will examine the concept of IBIE at the organizational level. The sample is 138 creative entrepreneurs who are SME owners who base their needs on design images that are always renewable. Hypothesis testing carried out shows empirically the IBIE variable has been able to act as a full mediation variable to bridge the gap between IT (Beta (β) = 0.747) and OP (β = 3.341). IBIE becomes a concept that fills the space of the influence of IT on OP in the body of knowledge in the entrepreneurship domain.

Purpose – While information technology (IT) has an important role in organizational development nowadays, in many previous studies, it was not found to have a significant direct effect on performance, thus producing a gap. The novelty of this study lies in building a conceptual model aimed at explaining the inconclusive gap research. Information technology in its capacity as infrastructure has the role of providing knowledge induction support to organizations, thus providing another dynamic concept, one of which is learning. In many previous studies, researchers completed the inconclusiveness gap of this research by using an approach derived from the organizational learning (OL) theory. However, this leaves a new inconclusiveness because the gap cannot be resolved just by ordinary organizational learning but refers to a concept of tacit, cohesive trust-based learning. The cohesive concept is intended to dynamize the organizational learning process. Design/methodology/approach – The sample is a design-based fashion SME that has been established for a minimum of three years, the SME business line is relevant to the variables displayed because SMEs face strong demands to build their knowledge by getting brilliant ideas to continue to survive in a creative industry. State-owned enterprises (SOEs) play a strategic role in the Indonesian economy. In Indonesia, SOEs have contributed around 16.41% for the Indonesian state budget. Many Indonesian state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have listed their stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. However, the study on the performance of SOEs’ stocks is still relatively limited and tends to use indicators such as Sharpe Index, Treynor Ratio or Jensen Index. In addition to using indicators such as Sharpe Index, Treynor Ratio or Jensen Index, this study examines the performance of SOEs’ stocks using Adjusted Sharpe Index, Adjusted Jensen Index and Sortino Ratio that can measure the downside risk of those stocks. The objective of this study is to analyze the performance of the SOEs’ stocks in Indonesia. The sample in this research were 19 SOEs’ stocks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period from January 2013 until April 2019. The result of this research indicated that INAF (PT Indo Farma) stocks had the best performance when measured by using all measurement methods. The performing stocks came from the construction sector and the pharmaceutical sector. Therefore, investors are suggested to give more attention to SOEs from the pharmaceutical sector and the construction sector.

This study aims to examine whether the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model is appropriate to be applied in the Indonesia Stock Exchange, especially for the socially resposible investment stocks. For the ARIMA model combines the autoregressive and moving average method, so it is viewed as a useful tool to predict the stock prices. Those methods are frequently used methods to forecast the stock prices. The data used in this study were daily SRI-KEHATI Index during the period of June 8, 2009 to July 17, 2017. The results showed that the daily SRI-KEHATI Index data were not stationary data, thus this data needed to be transformed. The transformation was done by using the first seasonal differencing transformation process. After being transformed, those data became stationary. Furthermore, this study found that ARIMA (3,1,1) was a model, which might be appropriate and fit with the data condition. This method was also relevant to be applied in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in order to forecast the stock prices.

This study examines the effect of perceived green human resources management on perceived environmental performance with employer environmental commitment and green lifestyle as intervening variables. The technique in sampling in this study uses nonprobability sampling and purposive sampling techniques by collecting data which is done by giving online questionnaires by google form. The analysis technique used is the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique using SmartPLS software. From the results of hypothesis testing, it was concluded that hypothesis 1 (H1) was rejected, hypothesis 2 (H2) was accepted, hypothesis 3 (H3) was rejected, hypothesis 4 (H4) was accepted and hypothesis 5 (H5) was accepted.

The main objective of this study is to examine the effect of distributive justice and procedural justice on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with organizational culture as a moderating variable. The data in this study were collected from questionnaires distributed to 94 permanent employees of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) Tbk. Regional Division IV. Hypotheses testing shows that distributive and procedural justice positively affects OCB. Organizational culture is also found to be the moderator on the effect of procedural justice on OCB. However, our prediction that organizational culture could be the moderator on the effect of distributive justice on OCB is not supported. Further results and discussion are explained.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how South Korean expatriate manager interact with Indonesian subordinates and what the difference about their culture perspective in Semarang garment enterprises and identify how the difference of culture could affect their ability to manage staff and doing their job normally. A qualitative study was conducted. Triangulation methods are used to examine the validity of research data. The result indicated South Korean manager characteristics with Kluckhohn-Strodtbeck’s dimension. There are contrast differences between South Korean manager with Indonesia employee in perception of time and space, which required adjustments in management practice for better performance results. Study about the efficiency of the capital market has been extensively conducted, but it is still lack of research on the efficiency of other financial markets such as commodity markets. This study specifically examines market efficiency in a weak form in a commodity market, especially in the crude palm oil (CPO) market. The purpose of this research is to analyze the weak form efficiency of the CPO market. Data used in this research is monthly CPO closing price data in 2010-2017 from Bursa Malaysia Derivative Exchange (BMD). This data was obtained from the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC). The analysis tool used is Runs Test, following by Unit Root Test and Correlogram as robustness checking. The result of this study shows that the CPO market is being efficient in a weak form. This shows that CPO price walks randomly so that the technical analysis cannot be applied to predict the CPO price. The result of this study suggests to both of CPO traders, and CPO speculators in their transaction on BMD do not rely on technical analysis.JEL Classifications: G14; Q02

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on creative attitudes of creative economy sub-sector Small Medium Enterprises in Kendal sub-district in the context of creative economic development. The population in this study were 129 Micro Small Medium Enterprises in the creative industry subsector. The total sample in this study was as many as 33 Micro Small Medium Enterprises in the creative industry sub-sector. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial knowledge has a positive and significant influence on the creative attitude of creative economy sub-sector Micro Small Medium Enterprises in Kendal sub-district, Central Java City, Indonesia.

Manufacturing industry contributes to environmental pollution and social cost. Hence, corporate social responsibility (CSR) functions as a way to reduce the effects of corporate activities, to increase long-term performance and stakeholder trust. To increase its effectiveness, this study analyses the mediating role of green-oriented innovation and community participation in implementing the CSR. The study uses simple random sampling to collect 173 respondents from large scale manufacturing firms in Central Java, Indonesia. By using structural equation modeling, the findings showed the significant influence of CSR to the firm performance. The originality of this study concerns the need to involve social and environmental dimensions in applying the ethical program of CSR.

This study was conducted to explore the relationship between work-family supportive supervisor, career competencies, job involvement, and job satisfaction. Data were collected from a sample of 162 respondents who worked as a nurse at hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia. This study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine and estimate the relationship between the constructs. The study results indicate that work-family supportive supervisor has a positive and significant impact on career competencies, career competencies have a positive and significant impact on job involvement, and on job satisfaction. Work-family supportive supervisor has a positive and significant impact on job involvement and on job satisfaction. A total of 162 respondents with a percentage of 96.30% women showed that women need good support and policies in achieving a balance between work and family. Finally, this study highlights the importance of work-family supportive supervisor and career competencies for improving job involvement and job satisfaction. This study provides insights on how the human resources department can retain qualified staff and develop employee satisfaction.

Scholars have focused on exploration concerning issues affecting innovative behavior (IB). Of previous research finding reviews, transformational leadership (TL) is seen as the most influential factor to promote IB in the organization. TL helps followers to have a unique opportunity to develop learning competence and cooperation in improving IB. Besides, knowledge sharing (KS) is also supposed as the main trigger to build IB. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the mediating role of KS in the relationship between TL and IB. 210 postgraduate students in Indonesian private university are determined as samples. Multiple regression analysis by using SPSS software is applied to analyze the data. The results show that TL significantly affects KS and IB. KS further mediates the relationship between TL and IB.

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the relationships between high-performance work systems (HPWS) on knowledge-sharing behavior (KSB) among Indonesian employees through the mediating role of feeling trusted (FT) and moderating role of generational differences (GD). Design/methodology/approach: Sample were collected from 278 employees working in the Indonesian financial companies. This research used structural equation modeling to investigate the associations of HPWS and KSB. Furthermore, Sobel Test was applicated to test the mediation effect of FT. Finally, Hayes PROCESS was used to test the moderation impact of GD. Findings: The empirical results revealed that HPWS positively impact FT and KSB. Hereafter, FT also positively impacts KSB and then succeeds to mediate the relationships between HPWS and KSB. Finally, GD were failed to moderate the relationships between HPWS and KSB. Originality/value: To the best of the authors' knowledge, this study is one of the few studies that illustrate the roles of GD between the relationships between HPWS and KSB.

The purpose of this research is (1) to confirm the impact of change leadership (CL) and Knowledge Acquisition (KA) on firm performance (FP) of large manufacturing companies implementing digital transformation projects; (2) to investigate the mediation effect of KA on the relationship between CL and FP. The relationships between CL-FP and KA-FP have been studied separately. However, empirical research studying these relationships in a digital transformation context is still scarce. In addition, previous studies investigating the relationship between CL and KA can hardly be found. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first integrated study of CL, KA, and FP relationships in the context of digital transformation among large Indonesian manufacturing companies. A quantitative research method was used in this study. Quasi Snowball sampling method was used to distribute the questionnaires. From the 148 returned questionnaires, only 122 samples are usable for further processing. The respondents are scattered throughout 10 provinces of Indonesia. Their products are diverse in 19 categories. A Structural Equation Model was developed for this study and analyzed using AMOS. The findings support previous research suggesting that change leadership is a prerequisite for firm performance, specifically in this study in the digital transformation context. The study also contributes to the body of knowledge by confirming that KA mediates the effect of CL on FP. Based on the findings in this study, the authors develop a framework to guide digital transformation leaders in their digital transformation journey.
