This work is aimed at exploring the mechanism of inflammatory factors and soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (sVCAM-1) regulated by nuclear transcription factor-κB (NF-κB) in unstable angina pectoris (UAP). 60 patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP), 60 patients with stable angina pectoris (SAP), and some healthy people (controls) were selected and included. Peripheral venous blood (PVB) of all subjects was collected to detect blood routine. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was adopted for detecting Visfatin, sVCAM-1, soluble intervascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1), and inflammatory factors; flow cytometry (FCM) was to detect the CD63 and CD62P; real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (rt-qPCR) was employed to detect the NF-κB1, NF-κB2, and REL mRNA. The hs-CRP results of UAP group, SAP group, and control group were 11.12 ± 1.5 mg/L, 10.23 ± 1.3 mg/L, and 4.51 ± 1.1 mg/L, respectively. The CD62P results of UAP group, SAP group, and control group were 16.07 ± 2.5%, 11.09 ± 1.8%, and 22.15 ± 0.4%, respectively. The high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), inflammatory factors (IL-6, IL-17, IL-23, IL-1β, and tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α)), CD63, CD62P, NF-κB1, NF-κB2, and REL mRNA were obviously higher in the SAP group compared than the indicator values in the control group (P < 0.05). The relative REL expression results of UAP group, SAP group, and control group were 3.77 ± 1.5, 2.2 ± 0.6, and 1 ± 0.4, respectively. The inflammatory factors, Visfatin, sVCAM-1, sICAM-1, CD63, CD62P, NF-κB1, NF-κB2, and REL mRNA in the UAP group showed higher levels in contrast to the other two groups (P < 0.05). In summary, UAP patients had marked activation of the IL-23/IL-17 inflammatory axis, high expressions of sVCAM-1 and sICAM-1, and activation of the NF-κB pathway. In this paper, the infrared optical properties of diamond films on silicon substrates grown by means of hot filament chemical vapour deposition (HFCVD) and microwave plasma chemical vapour deposition (MPCVD) method, are studied by infrared spectroscopic ellipsometry (IRSE) in the energy range of 0.1–0.4 eV. The establishment of appropriate models has the strongest influence on the fit of ellipsometric spectra. For diamond films grown by HFCVD method, the best fitting model is Si|diamond| (diamond + void)| air with an 879 nm rough surface layer included by Bruggeman EMA, but for MPCVD film with a 77.5 nm middle layer of SiO2. The average refractive index n of the HFCVD film is about 2.19 and the extinction coefficients k are between 1.0 and 10−3. However, for the MPCVD film, the value of n is very close to that of natural diamond and the k values are about 10−12–10−15, which show that the film grown by MPCVD is transparent in infrared region, and is optically much better than the HFCVD film. Abstract: By using different deposition conditions, four CVD diamond films with different qualities and orientation were grown by the hot-filament CVD technique. The dielectric properties of these films before and after annealing were investigated in detail. A study of the relationship between the different deposition conditions and annealing process with respect to the dielectric properties was carried out. These CVD diamond films were also characterized with Raman spectroscopy, XRD and characteristics. High-quality CVD diamond films were grown on Si substrate mechanically scratched with diamond powder. The annealing process reduces the hydrogen contamination of the films and therefore improves the film quality. CVD diamond films with good electric properties such as a resistivity of 1.2×1011Ωcm at a voltage of 50V, a dielectric constant of 5.73 and a dielectric loss of 0.02 at a frequency of 2MHz were obtained. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of a single use of itraconazole for treating Penicillium marneffei infection in HIV-infected patients, help to develop a clinical medication regimen, and provide a scientific basis for treatment measures., Method: A computerised literature search was carried out using the PubMed, EMbase, Ovid, Web of Science, Science Direct and CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) databases to collect relevant articles (from their establishment date to August 2014) using the following keywords: Itraconaz or Sporanox, HIV, AIDS, Penicillium marneffei (PSM), and Treatment. All related RCTs (Randomised Controlled Trials) were screened. Stata12.0 was used to conduct the meta-analysis to calculate the RR (relative risk) and 95% CI (confidence intervals). After that the consistency test, followed by the bias., Results: Five RCT papers were finally enrolled, with 467 persons in total. Among them, 192 individuals were enrolled in the experimental group, of which 37 individuals (19.27%) died during the course of the study. The number of participants in the control group was 275, and of these, 55 individuals (18.55%) died over the course of the study. The meta-analysis showed that the RR and 95% CI was 1.03 and 0.69 -1.54, P > 0.05, indicating that single-use itraconazole for the treatment of Penicillium marneffei infection in HIV-infected patients was non-effective. The publication bias analysis results showed that the funnel chart was symmetrical, indicating that the effect of publication bias in this research can be ignored., Conclusion: Single-use of itraconazole for the treatment of Penicillium marneffei infection in HIV-infected patients is non-effective.
