The fourth industrial revolution, or Industry 4.0 is characterized as information technology enabling complete digital connectivity, bringing together modern human life's physical, digital, and organic elements. In the competitive world of clothing, fashion and footwear, integrated technologies are constantly advancing, and the fashion industry needs to adapt to market standards. Given the above, this research aimed to search the literature in a bibliometric way on the evolution of the current situation of industry 4.0 fashion. In the present study, the research question that guided him is: What are the interventions of Industry 4.0 in the fashion industry? The bibliometric review is a contemporary view compared to the traditional bibliographic review, as the latter only allows an overview of specific subjects and is used as an argument for further research. A total of 16 articles demonstrated an overall performance of the technology in fashion, ranging from fabric production, eco-technology to reduce emissions and pollutants, technologies in production, distribution, marketing, and sales, in addition to having points for the sake of education. The application of IT in the structural organization of the form of production was the most highlighted by the studies and brought innovations in it, such as the application of 3D technology and intelligent and technological fabrics. La cuarta revolución industrial o Industria 4.0 se caracteriza como tecnología de la información para permitir una conectividad digital completa, que reúne los elementos físicos, digitales y orgánicos de la vida humana moderna. En el competitivo mundo de la ropa, la moda y el calzado, las tecnologías integradas avanzan constantemente y la industria de la moda debe adaptarse a los estándares del mercado. Dado lo anterior, esta investigación tuvo como objetivo buscar la literatura de forma bibliométrica sobre la evolución de la situación actual de la industria 4.0 de la moda. En el presente estudio, la pregunta de investigación que lo guió es: ¿Cuáles son las intervenciones de la Industria 4.0 en la industria de la moda? La revisión bibliométrica es una visión contemporánea en comparación con la revisión bibliográfica tradicional, ya que esta última solo permite una visión general de temas específicos y se utiliza como argumento para futuras investigaciones. Hubo un total de 16 artículos que demostraron un desempeño global de la tecnología en moda, que van desde la producción de telas, eco-tecnología para reducir emisiones y contaminantes, tecnologías en producción, distribución, marketing y ventas, además de tener puntos en para por el bien de la educación. La aplicación de las TI en la organización estructural de la forma de producción fue la más destacada por los estudios y aportó innovaciones en ella, como la aplicación de tecnología 3D y tejidos inteligentes y tecnológicos. Diante do exposto, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo pesquisar a literatura de forma bibliométrica sobre a evolução da situação atual da indústria de moda 4.0. No presente estudo, a questão de pesquisa que o norteou é: Quais são as intervenções da Indústria 4.0 na indústria da moda? A revisão bibliométrica é uma visão contemporânea em relação à revisão bibliográfica tradicional, uma vez que esta permite apenas uma visão geral de assuntos específicos e é utilizada como argumento para pesquisas futuras. Foram 16 artigos que demonstraram um desempenho geral da tecnologia na moda, que vão desde a produção de tecidos, ecotecnologia para redução de emissões e poluentes, tecnologias na produção, distribuição, marketing e vendas, além de contar com pontos para por uma questão de educação. A aplicação da TI na organização estrutural da forma de produção foi a mais destacada pelos estudos e trouxe inovações, como a aplicação da tecnologia 3D e tecidos inteligentes e tecnológicos.

Este tema é abordado através de um estudo de caso de uma indústria do ramo têxtil, localizada em são paulo. Foi selecionado o processo de beneficiamento têxtil para ter sua capacidade analisada. A escolha destas etapas da cadeia produtiva baseia-se no fato de serem os principais processo de produção dentro da empresa que envolvem um grande fluxo de matéria prima e mão de obra. Os resultados desta pesquisa servem tanto para rever e analisar os custos totais de fabricação dos itens produzidos na empresa. E também para futuros estudos econômicos da cadeia produtiva, criando uma referência acadêmica no assunto. This topic is approached through a case study of a textile industry located in São Paulo. The textile melioration process was selected to have its capacity analyzed. The choice of these stages of the production chain is based on the fact that they are the main production processes within the company that involve a large flow of raw materials and labor. The results of this research serve to review and analyze the total manufacturing costs of items produced in the company. And also for future economic studies of the production chain, creating an academic reference on the subject. Este tema se aborda a través de un estudio de caso de una industria textil, ubicada en São Paulo. El proceso de beneficio textil fue seleccionado para analizar su capacidad. La elección de estas etapas de la cadena productiva se basa en que son los principales procesos productivos dentro de la empresa que involucran un gran flujo de materia prima y mano de obra. Los resultados de esta investigación sirven tanto para revisar como para analizar los costos totales de fabricación de los artículos producidos en la empresa. Y también para futuros estudios económicos de la cadena productiva, creando un referente académico en el tema.

Entre as preocupações com a sustentabilidade do planeta destaca-se a produção de alimentos para suprir uma população crescente com o mínimo de impactos ambientais. O uso de indicadores de sustentabilidade tem auxiliado na busca de soluções para melhorar a sustentabilidade. A pegada ecológica mostra a quantidade de espaço do planeta que o indivíduo utiliza para manter seu estilo de vida e tem sido usado em diversas áreas do conhecimento. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a relação da pegada ecológica com o consumo da carne de frango. Para tanto foi realizado um questionário por meio digital obtendo 501 respostas. com as quais obteve-se a pegada ecológica individual e respectivo consumo da carne de frango. Os dados foram processados no programa computacional WEKA® (3.5), utilizando o algoritmo J48, considerando validação cruzada com amostras de 10 % (10-fold Cross-Validation), para a obtenção de uma árvore de decisão. Dos entrevistados 55% assumem que a carne de frango é a mais consumida em sua casa. Para identificar a relação entre consumo da carne de frango e a pegada ecológica foi gerada uma classificação do consumo da carne de frango a partir do algoritmo J48 com 61% de acurácia. De forma geral o consumo da carne de frango esta associado a pegada ecológica boa.

Clothing production is part of a large chain of businesses, ranging from agribusiness (production of various fibers and cotton) to textiles (spinning, dying), garment making and distribution. Manufacturing of apparel is an essential commercial chain for the developing countries Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Since the clothing industry presents several segments with potential pollution, the consumer vision of sustainability is necessary to promote an essential environmental balance. The present study aimed to evaluate the Brazilian consumer awareness about the impact of clothing production in the environment. An online questionnaire was distributed to an available sample that resulted in 503 responses. Questions were related to the consumers' lifestyle and consumption. Data were organized in a spreadsheet, and the Ecological Footprint (EF) was estimated. Data mining was applied to model the attributes that influence the EF of consumers, and to classify the consumer Ecological Footprint (Bad, Moderate or Good). After estimating the EF of all responses, we applied the cluster analysis to understand how the consumer's group. The results indicated that women spent more on cotton clothes than men. Most of the respondents (62%) are not aware of the clothing production chain and its potential for pollution. Although the consumers are generally concerned with sustainability (66%), most interviewees are not aware of the manufacturing processes of the worn garments neither the impact the cotton manufacturing might cause to the environment. The studied Brazilian consumers show that, although they wear clothes made of cotton, they are not aware of how the production is. Men do not know and do not care about this fact, as can be observed by the decision tree. Another point was that consumers (65%) seek to buy generic products from sustainable companies, but they do not know if the clothing manufacturer is sustainable. It is also observed that the values spent on clothes do not seem to be related to the Ecological Footprint. For the key questions of the questionnaire, the answers by income bracket were checked to verify the relationship with the lifestyle. We concluded that the Ecological Footprint of the consumers increase as their expenditure are greater also in the lifestyle requirements.

The society has been driven to create parameters for sustainable development and to transposition into the circular economy. Sustainability strategies were assessed in fabric value chain and clothing. To discuss this subject, we analyzed the results found using the information published in the current literature about sustainability in the textile chain. The results indicate that the fabric and clothing production chain needs to expand sustainable practices, such as selective collection, reuse, recycling, and proper disposal of textile waste, and to improve the population’s awareness of the theme, one of the obstacles to sustainability. The adoption of recycling will be a qualitative leap for the circular economy in the studied business chains and will just happen when education becomes a priority. The results show it is urgent to change the paradigm in society in order to enter a circular and sustainable economy.

The term “carbon footprint” of products refers to the mass of greenhouse gases (GHG) emitted due to the production, use, and disposal of a product. The option of buying food is a complex behavior influenced by different factors that play an essential role in consumer perceptions. The present study aimed to analyze the carbon footprint profile of Brazilian consumers of beef, broiler meat, and vegetarian. A questionnaire was sent by e-mail, and 222 answers were obtained. Three consumer profiles were defined based on the similarities (C0, C1, and C2). The carbon footprint of C0 was 18 ± 3 tons/year; the C1 17 ± 2 tons/year; and the group C2 had 18 ± 3 tons/year. No difference in the carbon footprint of the meat eaters and vegetarians was found in the clusters studied. The meat consumers and the vegetarians have the same impact on the environment when the WWF calculator is applied.

This article compares Brazil, the United States, and Germany's laws in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, describing the scenario of these laws, comparing them to evaluate which country had the best performance, in their laws concerning the COVID-19, in the face of the international requirements. The primary laws of Brazil, the USA, and Germany were used, comparing WHO requirements and international requirements, analyzing: speed in the isolation decision; assembly of hospitals and equipment; economic measures for the population; organization of states and international negotiation. The comparison system established was based on scores (scores), with scores ranging from 1 to 5 (very poor to very good) depending on the existence of legislation for each country (Brazil, USA, and Germany), for each type of requirement, concerning the level of awareness of the norm's applicator to the problems faced in the pandemic. Although some nations have acted quickly in imposing restrictions and recommending social isolation, they have been hampered by economic, social, and political factors.

Os temas agronegocio do algodao colorido e moda praticamente nao possuem literatura cientifica publicada sobre o assunto, principalmente quando o assunto e tratado com o escopo de sustentabilidade. O algodao colorido e agroecologico, apesar da limitacao em cores, pode reverter em uma producao industrial com menos impacto ambiental e utilizando menos agua. O objetivo deste estudo foi apresentar a fibra colorida e o algodao orgânico, produzidos por pequenos agricultores na regiao Nordeste do Brasil, como produto alternativo para promover a sustentabilidade no agronegocio do algodao e na industria textil, e identificar a carencia de estudos cientificos sobre o tema. Foram feitos levantamentos em bases disponiveis de literatura nacional e publicacoes internacionais sobre o tema e apresentados os resultados de pesquisas de produtos toxicos utilizados para a producao do algodao branco e na industria textil. Sugere-se que haja incentivo do governo aos agricultores que se dedicam a esta producao e que proporcione a infraestrutura para que o produto atinja o mercado global, por meio de cooperacao com paises mais pobres, promovendo mudancas mundiais no impacto ambiental na industria da moda. Part 2: Production Management in Food Supply Chains; International audience; The use of business games can help users to find solutions to complex management problems, to develop critical and strategic thinking skills, and to prepare professionals for the labor market. Business games as an active learning method has been widely debated, and there is a continuing interest in how students learn when they are stimulated. The goal of this research is to analyze the application of business games as an effective teaching methodology and decision-making in logistics processes in business administration undergraduate courses. The business game ENTERSIM was built with software and cloud computing. As the results, the student’s testimonies showed some deficiencies in the instructions given and in the activity application’s time. However, students emphasized the wish to carry out again activities that involve business games for bringing theory to practice. Students recognized the contribution of the business game to improve learning about operations, problem-solving, and decision-making.
