Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia resulting from increased hepatic glucose production, diminished insulin secretion and impaired insulin action. Though diabetes is a global problem so the present study aims to open new avenue to explore the antidiabetic activity of various medicinal plants on a firm scientific footing and different market formulation which add value as novel antidiabetic drug. In present Study Catharanthus roseus and Saraca indica was tested on the different standardization criteria such as organoleptic measurement, percentage yield, phytochemical screening, antioxidant and antidiabetic potential. Popularity of naturopathy, nature healing has huge impact on herbal drugs which are extensively used in many herbal formulations in traditional system of medicine. Hence, it is required to standardize the herbal materials in order to check purity of the materials that will serve as reference for further studies. For standardization three features must be checked; authenticity, purity and assay. Indian history of medicinal plants has proven that herbs have been used to treat topical infections. From the long list of herbs in my research Catharanthus roseus and Saraca indica are some of the common herbs that are found in abundant. The chosen plants develop an effective antioxidant and anti-diabetic which is environmentally safe. Key words: Catharanthus roseus, Saraca indica, In vitro antioxidant and anti-diabetic activity

The main aim of this paper is to investigate the role of public and private sectors in registering their plant variety under different categories as well as mapping the role of public, private and farmer’s right with reference to legal provisions. The graphical representation of data set of registered varieties (from 2009-2018) i.e. new, extant variety and farmer variety in a longitudinal way to analyze the participation of the public, private sector in registering the plant varieties. The finding of this study clearly indicates that during the initial year i.e. 2009-2012 not so many varieties got registered after that 2013-2018 specially in 2014 large varieties get registration in different categories. The finding gives a comparative viewpoint that initially in the year 2009 to 2012 public sector played a significant role in registration thereafter 2013-2018 private sector invest a lot specially in 2014 where large number of varieties register by farmers of Odisha with reference to their farmer’s right. This research gives a clear depiction to the private industries a positive trajectory of benefit of registering the variety of plant under the PPV & FR legislation. The Odisha case study enumerates the role of government and their public policies to encourage farmers to register their traditional variety and get benefit out of it

Ivermectin (IVM) is a semi-synthetic substance derived from avermectin, which is naturally produced by Streptomyces avermitilis. It is very effective in the control of endo- and ecto-parasites such as gastrointestinal nematodes, lice, and mites in livestock. In the present study an attempt has been made to prepare fast dissolving tablets of Ivermectin, Xanthan gum, Sod. Alginate, Sodium starch glycolate used in the level of addition to increase the rate of drug release from dosage form to increase the dissolution rate. Direct Compression method was used to formulate the tablets. The prepared Tablets were further evaluated for Hardness, Friability, disintegration time, and uniformity of drug content, and In-vitro Release Studies. Percentage assay of different formulation was determined by U.V. vis Spectroscopy. The percentage assay of different formulation was in range of 98.45±0.23 to 99.75±0.24%. The maximum percentage assay (99.75±0.24%) and less disintegration time were found to be formulation F3 in Fast dissolving tablets. The optimized formulation of batch F3 subjected to further In vitro drug release. Overall the results of the dissolution rate studies indicated greater dissolution rate of Ivermectin from fast dissolving tablets. Absorption of drugs with a limited absorption window in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) is low. Gastroretentive drug delivery methods provide the advantage of delaying stomach emptying time for these medicines. The goal of developing floating Dexrabeprazole tablets was to extend the stomach residence period following oral treatment in order to achieve regulated medication release. Dexrabeprazole floating tablets were made by direct compression with different grades of Hydroxyl Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) and PVP K30 utilising an effervescent process. As a gas-generating agent, sodium bicarbonate was used. Citric acid's effect on medication release profile and floating qualities was also examined. The preformulation parameters were within the limits of the pharmacopoeias. Weight uniformity, content uniformity, thickness, hardness, in vitro release experiments, buoyancy determination, and kinetic analysis of dissolving data were all used to evaluate tablets. The tablet had a 1-minute lag time and remained buoyant for 12 hours. The in-vitro drug release pattern of improved ciprofloxacin floating tablets (F8) was fitted to various kinetic models, with Higuchi order release kinetics showing the best fit (r2 = 0.984). Ciprofloxacin floating tablets had a longer gastrointestinal residence period, which improved the drug's bioavailability and therapeutic impact. COVID pandemic is a wake-up call to encourage 'Internationalisation at Home' (IAH) by designing the existing course curriculum or introducing new courses for scaffolding the global workforce, academic advancement, and exchange of research and ideas. This paper proposes that introducing an International Literature course in Indian Higher Education (IHE) curricula would effectively internationalise IHE at home. Incorporating an International Literature course is an important prerequisite for promoting learning to live together with harmony among the world's diverse cultures and collectively find solutions to the socio-economic challenges. It is high time to re-think our roles, responsibilities, and actions at the local, national, and global levels. It is believed that the proposed course will make easy connecting with diverse cultures of the world and nurture critical thinking for the global good and hence will foster 'Internationalisation at Home'. Literature is the only cultural product knitted with the language of that cultural space that encapsulates cultural practice and reflects social perception comprehensively. Without understanding the rich cultural, social, religious, ethnic, and linguistic diversity and heritage of the world, the concept of VasudhaivaKutumbakam (the world is one family) cannot be understood in its entirety. The literature of one language alone would not suffice to cover the whole range of the world's socio-cultural diversity and heritage. Therefore, this paper investigates the scope for incorporating international literature course (translated in English or the home language) and suggests a few creative ways for linguistic and socio-cultural edification and intercultural competence.

Patient safety is another healthcare issue in the medical care organization that incorporates the reducing and preventing Medical fault that regularly prompts destructive patient safety out comes, so that why it is conduct a pre experimental study to assess the effectiveness of nurse led intervention on knowledge regarding patient safety goals in hospital among staff nurse at selected hospital, Indore. The aim of study to assess the effectiveness of nurse led intervention. In this study 80 staff nurse was selected by using Non probability convenient sampling techniques. Pre- interventional knowledge level was assessed by self structured knowledge questionnaire. The data collect was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The average (Mean = standard deviation) knowledge scoring in pre-test to measure the pre-existed knowledge about patient safety goal in hospital to be 14.09±4.45 points and knowledge score at post test found to be 27.74 ±3.16 points. The mean difference of 13.65 points in knowledge scoring between pre – interventional and post – interventional. The t value is 22.37 at df 79 (6.1) at 0.05 level of significance. Which clearly showed the effectiveness of nurse led intervention on knowledge of staff nurse regarding patient safety goal in hospital. The positive mean difference of knowledge score shows that information booklet was effective.

The work presented an analysis of drinking water samples collected from different ground handpumps at 102 sites in Galore area of Dist. Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. The samples have been analysed for three physicochemical parameters like, pH, conductivity and iron content. The results showed that pH ranged from 5.9 to 8, conductivity from 120 to 790 μS/cm and iron content from zero to 3.54 mg/l. The measured parameters of only 33 sites water samples were within the WHO standard drinking quality values whereas in the remaining 69 sites water samples beyond the standard values. In general, the present investigation found that the quality parameters were at the level of pollution at almost more than 65% sites.

Now a days, accidents are occurring due to lot of reasons, the one of the main reason is brake failure, it caused to due to poor maintenance, improper use and product defect, in order to safe guard the valuable human for accident the accident monitoring of brake is very important issue in automobile. The brake failure indicator circuit is a circuit that monitors constantly of the condition of brakes and provides an audio visual indication. When the brake is applied in order to slow down or to stop the vehicle the green LED blinks and the piezo buzzer beeps for about one second if the brake system is accurate and working properly. If brake system fails the red LED glows and the buzzer do not beep when the brakes are applied. &nbsp

Practitioners providing pre-hospital care during civilian practice and on military operations may be required to perform airway management and tracheal intubation at floor level. It has been shown that intubation using the Airtraq laryngoscope is easier to learn than standard Macintosh laryngoscopy. We hypothesised that the Airtraq would be easier to use and have shorter intubation times than Macintosh intubation. Sixty volunteers attending a medical conference with no prior Airtraq experience, who were skilled in pre-hospital Macintosh intubation, were recruited. Each was required to intubate an anatomically correct manikin at floor level using a Macintosh and Airtraq laryngoscope. The Airtraq was found to be superior in ease of use (VAS 30 mm, P < 0.001), had a shorter total intubation time (19.4seconds) and a higher intubation success rate (P = 0.012) than the Macintosh laryngoscope (VAS 50 mm, 20.4 seconds). Rotating the tracheal tube 90 degrees anticlockwise during loading into the guiding channel, made the Airtraq intubation easier (VAS 30 mm, P = 0.001) and faster (19.4 seconds, P < 0.001) than with standard orientation of the tube (VAS 40 mm, 25.3 seconds). Airtraq intubation may prove to be easier than Macintosh intubation, when utilised in the clinical pre-hospital setting, though randomised controlled clinical trials are required to confirm this.
