The synthesis and characterization of Imidazolium cation-based ionic liquids having different anions were reported in the present article. The physicochemical and spectral analyses were used to characterized these ionic liquids. The theoretical studies using the B3LYP method provide optimized structure, HOMO–LUMO plots, thermodynamic parameters, and quantum descriptors. The anti-corrosive property of Imidazolium cation-based ionic liquids was observed in 0.5 M H2SO4 corrosive medium at 303, 313, 323, and 333 K temperatures by various strategies like gravimetric studies, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, potentiodynamic polarization studies, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The interesting feature of this article is that both ionic liquids follow different adsorption isotherms. IL-1 ionic liquid shows physisorption adsorption behavior, and IL-2 exhibits mixed adsorption (chemisorptions and physiorption). The electrochemical strategies and Egap value obtained from DFT reveal the maximum inhibition efficiency of IL-2 for the corrosion process in an acidic medium on mild steel. Potentiodynamic polarization studies reveal the mixed type behavior for ionic liquid inhibitors. EIS results indicate that the inhibition efficiency improved by enhancing ionic liquids concentration. The protective layer formation or adsorption of ionic liquid on metallic surface was confirmed by SEM. In the present article, the proposed mechanism shows the blockage of anodic and cathodic sites by ionic liquids to inhibit the corrosion process on mild steel in an acidic medium. Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are a major work-related problem affecting employees' well-being worldwide. Employee well-being is also associated with high organisational financial and social costs. Most working adults spend a considerable amount of time at their workplace, thus making workplace conditions a critical factor affecting their physical and mental health. This study addresses the role of work-related factors on WMSDs and psychological stress. For this purpose, 210 managers working in middle-level management in an Indian telecom organisation participated in the study. Data for the study was collected using a self-reported questionnaire. 64% of employees reported WMSDs, and 60% psychological stress. Structural equation modelling was used to study the effect of work-related factors on WMSDs and psychological stress. The study reported neck and lower back pain being the most frequently reported WMSD. Job control had a significant negative effect on WMSDs, and psychological stress, while workload did not affect either. Age was significantly associated with pain in the upper back and knees. The present article investigates the corrosion inhibition properties of N‐protected amino acids in.5 M H2SO4 solution on mild steel by gravimetric studies, potentiodynamic polarization method, and impedance spectroscopic techniques at different temperatures. This article evaluates synthetic methodology, characterization, and theoretical studies of N‐protected amino acid inhibitors with their anticorrosive property. Theoretical studies were conducted in the gaseous phase through a 6‐31 G (d, p) basis set from the B3LYP method. Potentiodynamic polarization studies revealed that both N‐protected amino acids behave as mixed‐type inhibitors. Impedance spectroscopic data confirmed the adsorption of the inhibitor on the metallic surface. Adsorption isotherm was employed to calculate the Gibbs free energy change. Langmuir adsorption isotherm is more acceptable for adsorption phenomena exhibited by the inhibitors. Thermodynamics and kinetic parameters of this adsorption phenomenon indicate that L2H was more efficient (94.13 ±.01% at.004 mol/L) than L1H (93.62 ±.02% at.004 mol/L) at 303 K. Surface morphology analysis of uninhibited and inhibited mild steel samples confirms that N‐protected amino acid inhibitors efficiently inhibit corrosion. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Mpox (previously known as Monkeypox) has recently re‐emerged, primarily through human‐to‐human transmission in non‐endemic countries including India. Virus isolation is still considered as the gold standard for diagnosis of viral infections. Here, the qPCR positive skin lesion sample from a patient was inoculated in Vero E6 cell monolayer. Characteristic cytopathic effect exhibiting typical cell rounding and detachment was observed at passage‐02. The virus isolation was confirmed by qPCR. The replication kinetics of the isolate was determined that revealed maximum viral titre of log 6.3 PFU/mL at 72 h postinfection. Further, whole genome analysis through next generation sequencing revealed that the Mpox virus (MPXV) isolate is characterized by several unique SNPs and INDELs. Phylogenetically, it belonged to A.2 lineage of clade IIb, forming a close group with all other Indian MPXV along with few from USA, UK, Portugal, Thailand and Nigeria. The drug trafficking problem in Rajasthan is quite common as Rajasthan is the largest state in India, and many international and interstate borders surround it. Illicit traffickers can add unlimited diluents and adulterants to heroin. Only 5% or less than that alkaloid is present; the rest is of diluents and adulterants. Adulterants can associate with a significant risk of overdose, which may lead to death due to severe poisoning. Thus, the purity of drugs may vary, and the presence and percentage of diluents and adulterants depend on the region. The present article aims to identify and separate diluents and adulterants from diacetylmorphine drug samples. The illicit drug samples were deposited for investigations in the narcotics division of the state forensic science laboratory, Jaipur. During studies, sophisticated instruments like GCMS confirmed the preliminary results obtained from TLC and color tests. The variety and quantity of adulterants and diluents differ in all the samples, but the pattern is similar. Aim- To compare the outcome of placing graft, medial or lateral to handle of malleus in Inlay technique of myringoplasty in terms of graft take-up rate, hearing improvement and complications. Material method- Prospective randomized single blind study on a total of 52 patients (age 18-40 years) who had dry central, medium sized perforation secondary to Chronic Otitis Media(mucosal disease) were included in our study. These patients were divided into two groups. Group A had 23 patients, in which graft was placed medial to handle of malleus and group B had 29 patients in which graft was placed lateral to handle of malleus in modified inlay technique of myringoplasty. The results of two techniques were compared in terms of graft take- up rate, hearing improvement and complications at the end of 6 months of follow up. Result- The graft take-up rate and post operative gain in air conduction in group A was 91.30% and 3.57+/-6.61 dB ( mean+/-SD) respectively whereas 96.55% and 6.62+/-6.86 Db (mean+/-SD) respectively in group B (p value is >0.05). Results was statistically analysed by Chi-square and T-test. Conclusion- We can conclude here that although there is no difference in graft take-up rate, gain in hearing and complications in both the technique, but in consideration of the duration of surgery, technicality, healing and lateral placement of graft was found better than medial placement in modified inlay technique of myringoplasty. Increasing ecological awareness and stringent environmental regulations has resulted in development of green and sustainable strategies for prevention of corrosion. One such attractive strategy involves ionic liquids due to their interesting properties such as low volatility, non‐flammability, nontoxic nature, high thermal and chemical stability, and their ability to adsorb on the metallic surface. In the past few years, pyridazinium‐based ionic liquids have been studied for corrosion inhibition.
